Zionisten houden pogrom in Oost-Jeruzalem

IfNotNow, een groep jonge Joden uit de VS heeft het roepen om arabieren te doden en te verbranden en Jeruzalem uit te gooien, aangeduid als een pogrom tegen Palestijnen....... Eén en ander gebeurde vorige week donderdag in Oost-Jeruzalem door honderden leden van de fascistische Lehava organisatie..... Dit alles onder het toeziende oog van de Israëlische politie en grenswachten...... (die niets ondernamen tegen de enorme en beangstigende agressie, zelfs niet toen huizen van Palestijnen werden aangevallen en men duidelijk een kind kon horen huilen....) Ook Ben Reiff, een journalist van Haaretz, noemde dit een pogrom en gisteren noemde hetzelfde mediaorgaan de deelnemers aan de pogrom neofascisten.......*

Fijn dat de Nederlandse media, inclusief de zogenaamde onafhankelijke zendgemachtigde NOS, over deze schandelijke fascistische gebeurtenis 'zoveel hebben bericht' (niet dus....), terwijl we wel mogen betalen voor de zionistische verslaggevers die de NOS gebruikt, zoals Ties Brock en al voor een veel langere tijd Ankie Rechess....... Toevallig berichtte de NOS vanmorgen wel over het weghalen van hekken bij de Damascuspoort voor de Palestijnen zodat ze gebruik kunnen maken van de plek waar men elkaar ontmoet tijdens de ramadan...... Hiervoor schreef fascist Rechess het artikel op de NOS site, waar ze stelde dat de Israëlische politie dit deed om de de gemoederen tot bedaren te brengen (de hekken staan daar al vanaf het begin van de ramadan...), gemoederen die onder de Palestijnse jongeren hoog opliepen door die belemmering...... Ze zei verder zelfs dat de ellende zoals die hierboven is beschreven de aanleiding was voor extreemrechtse Joden om zich te roeren, met geen woord vertelde ze dat het hier om niets anders ging dan een walgelijke pogrom om de Palestijnen ('arabieren') te verdrijven uit Oost-Jeruzalem....**

In een eerder uiterst kort artikel van Rechess spreekt ze over treffen tussen Palestijnen en de leden van Lehava, waar de politie wilde ingrijpen maar machteloos stond, aldus Rechess...... Terwijl de politie niets ondernam toen de honderden leden van Lehava een pogrom hielden in Oost-Jeruzalem en daar huizen aanvielen, wat niet werd gemeld door Rechess, nee in feite stelt ze dat Palestijnse jongeren die uiteindelijk ter verdediging de straten optrokken, van meet af aan vochten met de leden van Lehava......

Trouwens Rechess bericht meestal zo dat elke onderdrukkende maatregel die de fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël neemt een reactie is op geweld van Palestijnen, alsof het hier om gelijkwaardige staten gaat en de Palestijnen goed worden behandeld door Israël, walgelijk!! Israël is verantwoordelijk voor ernom lijden onder het verdrukte Palestijnse volk en het aantal Israëlische slachtoffers kan niet in de schaduw staan van het enorme aantal door Israël vermoordde Palestijnen (inclusief kinderen, vrouwen, bejaarden, invaliden, journalisten en medisch personeel) en dat sinds de illegale stichting van de staat Israël (die gefundeerd is op het bloed Palestijnen....)

There are horrifying images from Jerusalem last night of a mob of racist Jews chanting that the city belongs to them and Arabs should burn. The young American Jewish group “IfNotNow” labeled the mob a “pogrom,” in another assertion of moral leadership over community elders who ignore the violence.

“Hundreds of Jewish supremacists march in Jerusalem’ tonight, chanting ‘death to Arabs’” reports Noa Landau of Haaretz. Some of the supremacists attacked Palestinian homes. Writer Ben Reiff also calls it a pogrom:

Tonight hundreds of Israeli youths are marching through Arab areas of Jerusalem chanting “death to Arabs” and “the people demand Arabs on fire”, and are now attacking the homes of Arabs in the Old City. Call this what it is: a pogrom.

The mob was asserting a Jewish claim to Jerusalem and was aimed at Palestinians who were emerging from the Old City at sundown in Ramadan.

Israeli media reported, hundreds of Jewish youth from the far-right extremist Lehava organization arrived at the [Damascus] gate from Zion Square along Jaffa Street, yelling “Death to Arabs,” and “Revenge.” They held up signs that read “Death to terrorists,” according to N12….

“We’ve come here tonight,” Ben-Zion Gopstein, head of Lehava, said, “to clarify to anyone who thinks otherwise: Jerusalem is ours!”

IfNotNow, the young U.S. Jewish group which is anti-occupation, was swift to issue a very strong statement last night decrying a “pogrom” and linking it to official implementation of the “ethnic cleansing” of Palestinians. It also cited the success of the neofascist party Religious Zionism in last month’s election, winning six seats and becoming a kingmaker.

Meantime, the lead Israel lobby group AIPAC is crowing about the fact that 331 Congresspeople signed a letter saying that U.S. military aid to Israel must not be restricted. A blank check to human rights atrocities, with 3/4 of the Congress signing off, including many progressives.

331 members of Congress, Democrats and Republicans, stand united. Full funding of American security assistance to Israel is a vital investment in our national security interests.

The US Embassy has issued a statement today decrying all acts of violence in Jerusalem and calling for cooler heads to prevail. No mention of the racist mob.

The American Jewish Committee issued a both sides statement. “All violent rioters must be apprehended.” Though it did also say: “Jewish extremists who engage in hate-fueled violence do not represent the Jewish community in Israel or beyond.”

Russell Khater responds: “You created this. You enabled this. You block any efforts to rein it in. You pretend it is fringe when it is mainstream and that the political parties supporting pogrom aren’t part of the coalition government for damage control of Israel’s image.”

J Street condemned the Jewish mob, featuring that video of the attack on the Palestinian home.

This is the terror happening in Jerusalem right now. It must stop.

J Street also wrote of the mob: “This is utterly disgusting and shows that the far-right is only becoming more brazen. Every Israeli leader should speak out against these horrifying anti-Arab marches in Jerusalem.”

“JewishWorker” baits the American Jewish Committee (AJC) about the rise of the Religious Zionism party: “Just curious… Where’s your statement condemning the welcoming of Kahanists into the Knesset and Netanyahu’s coalition?”

Terwijl het aantal besmettingen onder de Palestijnen toeneemt op de West Bank heeft Israël een COVID-19 testcentrum in Hebron vernietigd, dit is niets anders dan pure terreur!! Hoeveel bewijs wil je nog hebben voor het feit dat Israël de bezette gebieden wil ontdoen van Palestijnen, eerst middels etnische zuivering, laat deze terreurstaat nu zien dat het de Coronacrisis misbruikt om grote aantallen Palestijnen ten slachtoffer te laten vallen aan COVID-19, ofwel het maakt Israël totaal niet uit dat Palestijnse mensen sterven aan het virus, 'hoe meer hoe beter', zal Palestijnenslachter, oorlogsmisdadiger en de uiterst corrupte Netanyahu denken, de schoft die ongelofelijk genoeg nog steeds premier van Israël is........

In zogenaamd Israëlische gebied neemt het aantal besmettingen hand over hand toe, wat de afgelopen dagen leidde tot grote protesten in Israël tegen het Coronabeleid van de regering Netanyahu, daar wordt wel over bericht, terwijl het vernietigen van een Palestijns Corona testcentrum de reguliere westerse media niet haalt...... Afgelopen zondagmiddag in het Radio1 nieuws van 12.00 u. NOS correspondent voor Israël, Ties Brock, deze vond het nodig om de zwaar corrupte Palestijnenslachter Netanyahu te verdedigen voor diens Coronabeleid, waar hij de corruptie van Netanyahu, ook onderwerp van die protesten onbesproken heeft gelaten....... 

Ach het is als met de door de EU en dus ook van Nederland ondersteunde ontwikkelingsprojecten voor de Palestijnen die vernietigd worden door Israël, de media in het westen spreken er amper of geen kwaad van.......

De vernietiging van het Palestijnse COVID-19 testcentrum kwam al helemaal niet ter sprake in het lulpraatje van Brock en ik kan ook niets in andere Nederlandse media vinden over deze ongelofelijke terreurdaad..... Dacht dat de NOS een onafhankelijke zendgemachtigde was.... Oh nee, gelul, het tegendeel heb ik al 'iets te vaak' moeten concluderen op deze plek......

Over Netanyahu gesproken: elke andere premier die zo zou zijn verweven met misdaad (en dan spreek ik niet eens over de misdaden tegen de menselijkheid en oorlogsmisdaden die Netanyahu heeft begaan) was al lang onderwerp van sancties geweest, maar niet in de EU of in de afzonderlijke EU-lidstaten en in de VS al helemaal niet..... (en nogmaals dan spreek ik niet eens over de massamoord op de Palestijnen door deze ordinaire misdadiger.....) Hier heb je een bewijs van goed gedrag nodig voor zelfs de sufste bedrijven die je op wilt zetten, echter als de Israëlische premier een misdadiger blijkt te zijn, blijft de EU gewoon kapitalen steken in de fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël...... Dit gaat zelfs door terwijl datzelfde Israël (alweer zoals gezegd) EU projecten voor de Palestijnen blijft vernietigen......... Hoe is het gvd mogelijk??!!!

Vraag me zelfs af hoe christenen nog steeds achter Israël blijven staan, blijkbaar moeten deze mensen nog eens les krijgen in wat hun jezus zegt in de bijbel....... Hoe kan je achter een volk blijven staan dat een ander volk zo verdrukt dat deze mensen letterlijk geen leven meer hebben en dagelijks worden getreiterd en vernederd door jonge Israëlische psychopathische militairen zoals de Palestijnen op de West bank meerdere keren per dag overkomt, althans als ze al niet overhoop worden geschoten, zoals zoveel ongewapende Palestijnen en zelfs hun kinderen in de Gazastrook is overkomen...... Als je dit als christen goedkeurt moet je wel behoorlijk ziek in de bol zijn, al helemaal als je denkt dat deze terreur tegen het verdrukte Palestijnse volk de wil van god is!!

Israel destroys COVID-19 testing clinic in Hebron as cases soar

As the number of coronavirus cases in Palestine continue to soar, Israeli forces demolished this week a COVID-19 testing clinic in the city of Hebron, the epicenter of the outbreak in the occupied West Bank.

According to locals, Israeli forces demolished the clinic in the middle of the night, just before sunrise on Tuesday morning.

Tuesday’s demolition took place just over one week after Israeli forces delivered a stop-work order on the building.

The order gave the landowner, who had charitably donated the plot to the Hebron Municipality, 96 hours to prove he had building permits.
If he did not provide Israeli-approved building permits, the order said, the clinic would be destroyed.

The owner of the land, Raed Maswadeh, told Mondoweiss that over the course of the past week, he had been working with Israeli authorities to retrieve the proper building permissions. 

Because the land, located right at the entrance to Hebron City, is located in Area C, any sort of construction or work on the land requires Israeli permission — a nearly impossible feat, as Israel overwhelmingly denies any Palestinian building requests in Area C. 

Just 24 hours before the demolition, Maswadeh and his lawyer were allegedly told by the Israeli Civil Administration office in Beit El that the permits were approved, and the clinic would not be destroyed.

“We thought everything was fine, and we were really relieved,” Maswadeh told Mondoweiss. “So when we woke up in the morning to find the building destroyed, we were shocked,” he said.

According to Maswadeh, Israeli authorities notified his lawyer of the demolition via email in the evening hours of Monday, after his lawyer had closed his office for the day. 

Maswadeh described the actions of the Israeli military and civil administration as “shady,” saying that it was “inhuman” to demolish a COVID-19 clinic in the midst of the pandemic. 

“My family donated our land, and put in hundreds of thousands of shekels of our own money to build this clinic,” Maswadeh said, adding that he was driven to start the project after his grandfather passed away due to COVID-19 complications. 

“This was our way of honoring my grandfather’s memory and helping our community,” he said. “But Israel does not care about that, and they clearly don’t care about Palestinians dying because of the coronavirus.”
