Meerderheid van burgerslachtoffers Afghanistan vermoord door de westerse coalitie en het Afghaanse leger

Een VN missie die Afghanistan bezocht heeft na onderzoek geconcludeerd dat de meerderheid van de burgerslachtoffers die de eerste helft van dit jaar omkwamen, werden vermoord door de westerse terreurcoalitie (NAVO troepen onder opperbevel van de VS) en het Afghaanse leger.

Het rapport geeft o.a. aan dat veel slachtoffers vallen bij militaire acties tegen opstandelingen als de Taliban en andere islamitische strijdgroepen...... Opstandelingen verschuilen zich onder de bevolking en blijkbaar heeft het oppercommandio van de VS op die momenten al helemaal schijt aan burgerslachtoffers.......

In totaal zou de westerse coalitie en het Afghaanse leger verantwoordelijk zijn voor de dood (moord) van 717 burgerslachtoffers, waar de Taliban verantwoordelijk zou zijn voor 531 burgers, echter voor het laatste cijfer heeft de Taliban gesteld dat de door haar gemaakte slachtoffers verraders zouden zijn geweest, die samenwerkten met de vijand (dat gebeurde hier tijdens de nazi-Duitse bezetting in WOII, ook toen werden verraders geëxecuteerd*)..... Overigens stelt de top van de Taliban dat het VN cijfer niet klopt wat betreft het aantal burgerslachtoffers door haar strijders gemaakt.

Daarover gesproken: het is de vraag of de rest van de VN cijfers wel kloppen, immers mensen worden in Afghanistan en andere islamitische landen binnen een dag begraven en hele gebieden in Afghanistan zijn onbereikbaar voor journalisten, daar ze in handen zijn van de Taliban....... 

Zoals gezegd, de Taliban stelde vast dat zij niet verantwoordelijk is voor 38% van de vermoorde burgers, zoals de VN stelt en dat zou heel goed mogelijk zijn, daar de Afghaanse 'regering' en de westerse terreurcoalitie er baat bij hebben om de Taliban zoveel mogelijk doden in de schoenen te schuiven, in de hoop dat de bevolking die achter de Taliban staat, zich daarvan afkeert......

Lees het volgende artikel en bedenk dan dat onze 'geweldige kabinet' Rutte 3 mensen terugstuurt naar Afghanistan, daar buitenlandse zaken het gore lef heeft middels een ambtsbericht te stellen dat het land veilig is voor de bewoners........** Vergelijk dat eens met het VN cijfer over door de Taliban gemaakte slachtoffers, daar zij verraders zouden zijn........ Overigens staan ook homo's en voorvechters van vrouwenrechten op de dodenlijst van de Taliban, voor wie vrouwen niet meer zijn dan broedmachines en huisslaven....  Als Nederland staatsburger wordt je overigens afgeraden naar Afghanistan te gaan, vanwege de onveiligheid, ook al volgens een ambtsbericht van BuZa....... Schandelijk en te zot voor woorden!!

More civilians were killed by Afghan and international coalition forces in Afghanistan in the first half of this year than by the Taliban and other militants, the UN mission said in a report.

The report apparently refers to civilians killed during supposed Afghan and US military operations against insurgents, such as airstrikes and night raids on militant hideouts. Insurgents often hide among civilians.

The US formally ended its combat mission in Afghanistan in 2014 but still provides extensive air and other support to Afghan forces.

The UN report published on Tuesday said 403 civilians were killed by Afghan forces in the first six months of the year and another 314 by international forces, a total of 717.

That is compared to 531 killed by the Taliban, a Daesh (Isis/Isil) affiliate, and other militants during the same period.

The report said 300 of those killed by militants were directly targeted.

The Taliban have been carrying out near-daily attacks, mainly targeting security forces.

There was no immediate comment from the Kabul government or the Afghan military on the report.

A NATO official stressed that the alliance is now in a non-combat mission in Afghanistan that trains, advises and assists the country’s security forces.

The official said the “best way to end the suffering of civilians is to focus on the political settlement of the conflict and to continue all efforts to reduce violence”.

“We thoroughly investigate every allegation of civilian casualties, and we train the Afghan security forces to ensure that they take utmost caution in order not to harm civilians,” said the official.

The Taliban have rejected calls for a ceasefire as they hold talks with the US aimed at ending the 18-year war.

A Daesh affiliate has meanwhile launched attacks targeting security forces as well as minority Shiites.

“Parties to the conflict may give differing explanations for recent trends, each designed to justify their own military tactics,” said Richard Bennett, the human rights chief of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, which released the report.

The situation for ordinary Afghans would be improved, he said, “not just by abiding by international humanitarian law but also by reducing the intensity of the fighting”.

The report said one in three casualties was caused by ground combat and a fifth were caused by roadside bombs.

Aerial operations accounted for around 14% of the casualties.

The Taliban issued a statement saying the part of the UN report blaming them for 38% of Afghan civilian casualties was not true.

“Many people counted as civilians in this report were targeted by the Taliban because of their links to the intelligence service or because they cooperated with military operations,” the Taliban said.

Earlier in the day, the Taliban praised the killing of two US service members on Monday in southern Kandahar province.

The Afghan soldier who turned his gun on the Americans was wounded and is in custody, according to US officials.

The Taliban called the gunman a “hero” and said the Afghan soldier had opened fire at the Americans inside a military base in the Shah Wali Kot district in Kandahar.

The US military has so far not identified the killed Americans, pending notification of their families.

Even with the Taliban-US talks under way, there appears to be no end in sight for the violence.

A suicide bomber on a motorcycle detonated his explosives at a market in southern Kandahar province on Tuesday morning, killing at least three children, said Jamal Naser Barekzai, spokesman for the provincial police chief.

A Taliban attack on a checkpoint left three police officers dead in northern Baghlan province, said Jawed Basharat, spokesman for the provincial police chief.

Late on Monday, insurgents targeted a checkpoint in the Kushk Kuhna district in western Herat province, killing at least 11 Afghan security forces, said Wakil Ahmad Karokhi, a provincial councillor.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the latest attacks.

Oekraïne, Georgië en Moldavië hebben oud bondgenootschap doen herleven, in voorbereiding op NAVO lidmaatschap en verdere actie tegen Rusland........

Oekraïne, Moldavië en Georgië (3 corrupte boevenstaten) hebben besloten een oud partnerschap te doen herleven, het zogenaamde GUAM-blok. Je hoeft niet te vragen wie er op de achterhand bezig is geweest om e.e.a. voor elkaar te krijgen >> juist: de VS!

Nu de genoemde landen (nog) geen lid kunnen worden van de NAVO, zouden deze landen (uiteraard zwaar gesteund door de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, de VS) samen een vuist kunnen maken tegen 'Russische agressie......' ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Als je nu ziet wie van de genoemde landen het meest agressief is in haar buitenlandpolitiek, is het de VS wel!!. 

Oekraïne dat godbetert een smerige oorlog voert tegen eigen onderdanen, die niet onder de door de VS geparachuteerde junta wensen te leven, mensen die kwaad zijn daar de door hen democratisch gekozen president onterecht werd afgezet, middels machinaties van de VS (Hillary Clinton maakte daarvoor destijds zelfs 4 miljard dollar vrij.....).......

Uiteraard zal de VS allerhande militair materieel leveren en daar een paar honderd militaire adviseurs aan toevoegen, zoals dit 'land' dit nu al doet in Oekraïne..........

Lees het volgende artikel van Alex Gorka, op 6 maart gepubliceerd op Strategic Culture Foundation (SCF), daarin vertelt Gorka o.a. over samenkomsten van deze landen (overigens met banden met andere landen, zoals die met Japan). Zo vond er op 2 maart jl. een conferentie van dit GUAM-blok plaats, waar een aantal bobo's uit de VS natuurlijk niet konden ontbreken, zoals het uiterst rechtse geteisem van de Atlantic Council....... Je snapt dat er vooral veel anti-Russische propaganda werd gevoerd op deze bijeenkomst, niet op feiten gebaseerd, maar gemaakt om Rusland zo veel mogelijk zwart te maken en de eigen situatie te promoten en te legaliseren...... Je weet wel, wat betreft Oekraïne de zojuist genoemde smerige strijd tegen de eigen bevolking in het oosten van het land...... Overigens heeft Azerbeidzjan (de A uit GUAM) zich teruggetrokken uit dit verbond, juist vanwege de sterk anti-Russische propaganda op de laatste bijeenkomst, zodat er nu eigenlijk gesproken zou moeten worden van het GUM-blok. (zeer toepasselijk gezien het weg gummen van de eigen kwalijke acties)

Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine Create New Anti-Russian, Pro-NATO Alliance

All over the world, public attention has been riveted on Russia’s reemergence as a military superpower, now that President Vladimir Putin has revealed his new weapon systems in his address to the Federal Assembly on March 2. The US ambitions to attain arms superiority have come to naught. But its anti-Russian policy cannot be reduced to mere attempts to achieve military supremacy. The countries of the former Soviet Union have become a political battlefield, with the US and its allies doing their best to decrease Russia’s influence.

With America’s tacit approval, the GUAM bloc, chaired this year by Moldova, is being revived. Last March, the prime ministers of Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, and Azerbaijan held a meeting (Baku was represented by its deputy PM) in Kiev. It was the first high level meeting since 2008. The cooperation agreement signed by those foreign ministers last October mentions a free trade zone. The GUAM organization is expected to hold a summit this June. Three of its members - Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia - act as tools for advancing America’s interests in the region. With the blessing of the US, they signed EU association agreements in 2014. The 2018 foreign-policy priorities list drafted by Moldova includes mention of the US, the Visegrad group, and Japan. According to Chisinau, the countries of the former Soviet Union – long-standing partners with which it shares historical ties - don’t deserve such an honor.

The speakers of parliament from these three countries took part in a security conference in the Moldovan capital titled "Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine: Eastern Partnership and Current Security Challenges," which was held on March 2 and attended by about 150 senior officials and experts from different countries. Of course US lawmakers and pundits were among the participants. As usual, the Atlantic Council, an American think tank that always supports neo-cons and anything anti-Russian, could not miss the chance to kindle anti-Moscow sentiments. Damon Wilson, its executive vice president, announced that the US was carefully watching over Moldova, Ukraine, and Georgia, claiming that they “wish to become part of our family,” as he put it.

The parliamentary leaders seized the opportunity to issue a joint statement condemning Russia’s military presence in what they believe to be their respective states’ territories. The document was published in English to reflect the pro-Western tilt of the three-state group. They are “concerned profoundly” over Russian troops in Moldova (1,000 troops and 500 peacekeepers stationed in Transnistria) and what they call “occupation” and “intervention” in some parts of Ukraine and Georgia.

As usual, Moscow is blamed for supporting “separatist movements” and other nefarious acts. The speaker of the Georgian parliament, Irakli Kobakhidze, said an anti-Russian alliance is needed, because only if they are united can these nations stand up to the “challenges” coming from Moscow. “We need joint strategies to face Russia's aggression,” chimed in Andriy Parubiy, the speaker of the Ukrainian Rada. To dispell any doubts about the new groups’ allegiance to NATO, he emphasized that “On this occasion I would like to speak of the threats faced not only by our region, but also by the Euro-Atlantic zone.”

The idea of reviving this alliance that was designed to counter Russia has failed. Azerbaijan refused to take part in any conference with such a clear anti-Russian agenda. That event demonstrated that there is no unity on Russia within the ranks of GUAM. So, GUAM is actually GUM - a group of three states that have been heavily influenced and pressured by the Americans and which are being used to “contain” Russia and forced to serve as NATO springboards.

These three states could maintain friendly relationships with everyone and stick to a neutral policy. Cooperation with the Eurasian Union could benefit their economies. Good relations with Moscow would not hinder their ties with the EU or other institutions or states, including the US. They could simply refrain from taking sides and concentrate on the well-being of their people. But no, they have chosen to adopt an attitude that is hostile to Russia and join those who are confrontational toward Moscow.

On March 2 the three member states actually announced the creation of a new anti-Russian alliance that will negatively affect the political landscape in Eurasia. The immediate objective is to push Russia out and pull the US in. Ukraine is a divided nation, plunged in crisis, and unable to fight its own entrenched corruption. Moldova is facing an election in the fall and the so-called pro-Russian forces are predicted to win. In Georgia, the idea of NATO membership does not have the support of the majority of the population, according to a recent poll. But the governments of these states are pushing the NATO agenda. They coordinate their political activities in order to counter Moscow in any way they can. For instance, they always vote for Ukraine in the PACE*, strongly oppose the Nord Stream gas project (NS2), and continue to move closer to NATO.

Moldova has announced its decision to buy lethal weapons from NATO members. Its government is chomping at the bit to join “Western institutions.” Ukraine is home to a US naval facility and is scheduled to receive American lethal arms. Tbilisi is pursuing a “more NATO in Georgia and more Georgia in NATO” policy.

What brings them together? All three states are ruled by oligarchs who obstruct reforms. With their economies in dire straits, the ruling elites promise their people paradise if they join the EU and NATO and become good friends of the US. Adopting an anti-Russia policy is their payment for Western aid and support. Their own national interests and sovereignty are being exchanged for crumbs dropped from the master’s table.

Journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia vermoord op Malta, onderdeel van de EU........

Journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia deed onderzoek n.a.v. de Panama Papers, waarbij ze o.a. de regering van Malta beschuldigde van grootscheepse corruptie. Via de Panama Papers kwam ze uit bij de firma Mossack Fonseca*.

Na onderzoek van Galizia bleek dat de premier van Malta, Joseph Muscat** en twee van zijn medewerkers betrokken zijn bij een smerige deal, waarbij buitenlandse firma's werden gelinkt aan deze drie figuren en paspoorten werden verkocht, waar Azerbeidzjan betalingen verrichtte...

De zoon van Caruana Galizia, Matthew Caruana Galizia (zelf journalist), stelt dat de onderwereld innig is verbonden met de Maltese politiek, waarmee hij in feite stelt dat de autobom, die een eind aan het leven van zijn moeder maakte, met instemming van de 'sociaaldemocratische' premier en andere politici werd geplaatst........

Voorts stelt Matthew dat de dood van zijn moeder niet tragisch is, daar spreek je van bij o.a. een auto-ongeluk, nee zijn moeder is een oorlogsslachtoffer, immers als je vuur en bloed om je heen hebt, is dat oorlog, aldus Matthew.......

Julian Assange heeft intussen € 20.000,-- uitgeloofd voor de tip die naar de moordenaars leidt.

Het is overigens opvallend stil rond deze zaak, als het om de EU gaat: geen veroordeling na de moord op Caruana Galizia en geen aangekondigd onderzoek naar de corrupte regering van Malta......... Ach ja, als men maar lid blijft van de EU, is er geen vuiltje aan de lucht, zelfs niet als fascisten EU landen regeren, zoals dit in Hongarije en Polen het geval is.........

Journalist Leading Panama Papers Investigation Killed by Car Bomb Explosion

(ANTIMEDIA) Malta — Following Monday’s car bomb murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia, the journalist leading the Panama Papers investigation into corruption within the government of Malta, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has offered a hefty reward to anyone with information about the killing.

“Outraged to hear that Maltese investigative journalist+blogger Daphne Caruana Galizia has been murdered this afternoon not far from her home with a car bomb,” Assange wrote on Twitter Monday night. “I issue a €20k reward for information leading to the conviction of her killers.”

Galizia, who POLITICO recently referred to as a “one-woman WikiLeaks,” had been a thorn in the side of the Maltese government for the last two years. The journalist used information from the Panama Papers — the cache of 11.5 million internal documents from offshore law firm Mossack Fonseca that were leaked in 2015 — to expose corruption within Malta’s political class, as the Guardian highlighted Monday:

“Her most recent revelations pointed the finger at Malta’s prime minister, Joseph Muscat, and two of his closest aides, connecting offshore companies linked to the three men with the sale of Maltese passports and payments from the government of Azerbaijan.”

Galizia, who was 53 and leaves behind a husband and three sons, published her final blog post barely half an hour before her death. One of the reporter’s sons, Matthew, took to Facebook following the murder, saying she was killed because of her refusal to back down:

“My mother was assassinated because she stood between the rule of law and those who sought to violate it, like many strong journalists. But she was also targeted because she was the only person doing so.”

Continuing, Matthew wrote that in the fight against corruption, “the last person left standing is often a journalist” which, ultimately makes them “the first person left dead.”

Matthew, who is also a journalist, said his mother’s death “is not tragic,” but rather that she was a casualty of war:

“Tragic is someone being run over by a bus. When there is blood and fire all around you, that’s war. We are a people at war against the state and organised crime, which have become indistinguishable.”
