Simon Wiesenthal Center: antisemitische top tien 2018 >> o.a. moorden toegestaan voor Joden

Ongelofelijk: WDR 5 berichtte in het nieuws van 16.00 u. vanmiddag over de 'Antisemitische top tien 2018', en meldde dat op nummer 7 de German Bank for Social Economy staat. Dit omdat de bank steun verleende aan de pro-BDS groep 'Jewish Voice for a Just Peace in the Middle East', wier zusterorganisatie in de VS 'Jewish Voice for Peace' (JVP), de veroordeelde 'arabische terrorist' Rasmea Odeh verwelkomde op één van haar conferenties. (Odeh vermoordde in 1969 twee studenten van de Hebreeuwse universiteit in Jeruzalem).......

Blijkbaar mogen alleen Joden ongestraft moorden, zoals we al van voor de stichting van de staat Israël zagen en wat na die stichting onofficieel als Joods recht werd geïntroduceerd....... Sinds maart dit jaar schieten Israëlische scherpschutters ongewapende demonstranten dood, waaronder kinderen, invaliden, medisch hulpverleners en journalisten...... Overal waar dit zou gebeuren op de wereld, zou dit leiden tot grote verontwaardiging, echter als je verontwaardigd bent over wat er in Israël gebeurt, wordt je weggezet als antisemiet.......

Het Simon Wiesentahl Centrum werd opgericht om nazi-moordenaars op te kunnen pakken, echter men heeft blijkbaar het doel van de stichting verlegd naar het verdedigen van de fascistische apartheidsterreur in Israël en een ieder die daar tegen is, af te schilderen als antisemitisch..... Sinds maart dit jaar, de aanvang van The Great Return March, heeft Israël al 240 ongewapende Palestijnse mensen vermoord (waaronder de eerder genoemde groepen, dus kinderen invaliden enz...) en dat ook nog eens over de grens heen op het grondgebied 'van de Palestijnen' (getto Gazastrook)......

Ongelofelijk dat het Wiesentahl Centrum wel twee Joodse groepen in het buitenland noemt, maar hen niet direct als antisemitisch neerzet.... Tja, dat zou ook behoorlijk vreemd zijn, Joden afschilderen als antisemieten, hoewel een arabier eigenlijk ook niet als antisemiet kan worden neergezet, daar ook zij tot de semieten behoren.....

Schande dat het Wiesenthal Centrum met de vinger durft te wijzen naar Jeremy Corbyn, NB een vriend van Hajo Meijer, een Joodse overlever van de nazi-doodskampen en jarenlang het gezicht van 'Een ander Joods Geluid......' En dat alleen omdat Corbyn Israël de les durft te lezen, de les dat je niet zo als Israël met mensen als de Palestijnen om kan gaan.......

Het Wiesenthal Centrum is zo gestoord bezig, dat zelfs het ontkennen van de staat Israël als antisemitisch wordt gezien, terwijl een fanatiek Joodse groep stelt dat Joden niets meer te zoeken hebben in Israël, daarnaast: vergeet niet dat de staat Israël illegaal is gesticht en dat met enorm bloedvergieten waarbij het grootste deel van de Palestijnen werd verjaagd...... Zelfs de beslissing van Airbnb niet langer huizen van Joden te vermelden die in de illegaal bezette Palestijnse gebieden staan, NB zelfs illegale nederzettingen, werd door het Wiesenthal Centrum beoordeeld  als antisemitisch.......

Tot slot vond het Wiesenthal Centrum het nodig Roger Waters van Pink Floyd op de antisemitische lijst te zetten, daar hij het opneemt voor het verdrukte Palestijnse volk...... Dat laatste zou nu precies de taak van het Simon Wiesenthal Centrum moeten zijn, gezien de eerdere verdrukking van het Joodse volk!!

At number 4 was UK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn. “Allegations of anti-Semitism on the part of key members and officials of the UK’s Labour Party officials have piled up in recent years, injecting the world’s oldest hatred into the mainstream of society. Party leader Jeremy Corbyn stands directly responsible,” the report said, pointing to an article published by leading British Jewish newspapers which called a Corbyn-led UK government "an existential threat" to Jews.

Number 6 went to travel lodge company Airbnb for its decision to delist houses owned by Jews in Judea and Samaria. “There is no indication that Airbnb, who claim to oppose BDS, is extending its interventionist diplomacy to Cyprus or the scores of other disputed territories around the world,” Wiesenthal noted.

The number 7 spot was given to German Bank for Social Economy over its support for the pro-BDS group “Jewish Voice for a Just Peace in the Middle East,” whose US-based sister group “Jewish Voice for Peace” welcomed convicted Arab terrorist Rasmea Odeh, who murdered 2 Hebrew University students in a 1969 Jerusalem bomb attack, at one of its conferences.

Closing the list was performer Roger Waters of the band Pink Floyd, whom the report called a “leading BDS cheerleader” and “an anti-Semite who wants to tell Jews what anti-Semitism is.”

Israël en VS werken samen in tegenwerken van critici op beleid t.a.v. Palestijnen

Kamel Hawwash, de schrijver van het hieronder opgenomen artikel, is een criticus van het VS beleid t.a.v. de Palestijnen en als zodanig werd hem de toegang tot de fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël geweigerd. Hawwash is allesbehalve een uitzondering..... Als je je mond opendoet en Israël volkomen terecht bekritiseert voor de terreur die dit land dag in dag uit, 365 dagen per jaar uitoefent op de Palestijnen (en dat als sinds de illegale stichting van Israël in 1948), kan je het vergeten, je komt de zogenaamde democratische straat Israël niet in........

Zelfs mensen van joodse komaf met kritiek op het inhumane fascistische beleid van Israël, wordt de toegang tot dat land ontzegd......

'Niet vreemd dus' dat Palestijnen die kritiek leveren op Israël allesbehalve veilig zijn, zij lopen grote kans te worden gearresteerd en gevangen te worden gezet...... Zo zitten er in Israël naar schatting 500 Palestijnen, inclusief vrouwen en kinderen vast, alleen voor het feit dat ze kritiek hadden op Israël en dat toevertrouwden aan de sociale media......* 

Beste bezoeker het kan nog gekker: Israël en de VS werken samen en wisselen namen uit, zo kan je het als niet VS burger wel vergeten naar de VS te reizen (wat altijd een slecht idee is), wanneer je kritiek hebt geleverd op het fascistische apartheidsbewind in Israël......

Kortom zowel Israël als de VS gebruiken fascistische methoden om mensen te weren (en/of hen het leven onmogelijk te maken).........

Daarover gesproken: het meest smerige is wel dat je met kritiek op de grootschalige terreur van Israël wordt 'afgemaakt' als antisemiet...... Ach ja, fascistische staten werpen altijd elke kritiek van zich en bestraffen degenen die zich daar schuldig aan maken..... Weten we tenminste waar we aan toe zijn zowel met zowel Israël als met de VS, beiden fascistische terreurstaten! (waar de VS nog niet geheel klaar is met de fascistisering van de maatschappij)

Supporting Palestine Can Now Get You Denied Entry to the US

I have been a severe critic of the current US administration’s policy towards the Palestinians. But does this make me a possible security threat to the US? Of course not.

(MEE) — In April 2017, while travelling for a routine family holiday to Jerusalem, I was denied entry upon arrival at Tel Aviv airport. Israeli authorities’ official – and bizarre – explanation for the entry denial was: I had attempted to “gain illegal entry”. However, being British citizens, we are normally allowed to travel to Israel without a visa. We have it issued at the entry point and I had obtained it on many occasions before.

But as I came to realise later the real reason was due to my role as vice chair of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC), a UK-based organisation that campaigns peacefully for Palestinian rights and which upholds the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel’s occupation.

BDS Promoters Denied

In March 2017, Israel passed the “BDS law“, which allowed it to deny entry to those engaged in BDS movement promotion. My colleague and PSC chair, Hugh Lanning, was denied entry soon after the law was passed. Another colleague, Anwar Makhlouf, head of the Palestinian Federation of Chile, was also denied entry at the Allenby Bridge based on the same law.

When I contacted both the British embassy in Tel Aviv and the foreign office in London for an explanation, I received the same reply: this was a sovereign decision for Israel. This meant Britain did not even acknowledge that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian Territories. The UK’s position is what gives Israel the green light to conduct its policy with total impunity.

Even pro-Palestine Jewish foreign nationals, who are supposedly entitled to go to Israel by the Law of Return (which grants citizenship to Jews from anywhere in the world) have been denied entry, and even denied permission to board their flights to Israel.

In July 2017, five members of an interfaith delegation were denied permission to board a Lufthansa flight at Washington DC’s Dulles International Airport that would ultimately take them to Tel Aviv. Among them was Rabbi Alissa Wise of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), who said in a statement: “Israel denied me the ability to travel there because of my work for justice for Palestinians, even though I’m Jewish and a rabbi.”

She added: “I’m heartbroken and outraged. This is yet another demonstration that democracy and tolerance in Israel only extends to those who fall in line with its increasingly repressive policies against Palestinians.”

Last July, Ariel Gold, co-director of BDS campaign group Code Pink, was denied entry at Ben Gurion airport despite obtaining a visa in advance to take a course at the Hebrew University. Her deportation, and those of others, are normally ordered by Israeli Minister of Security Gilan Erdan, and Israeli Minister of Interior Aryeh Deri.

The most recent case of entry denial involved Lara Alqasem, a 22-year-old Palestinian-American student, despite the fact that she has recently been granted a student visa for her masters’ degree in the Hebrew University. Alqasem spent days in detention at Tel Aviv airport struggling to be allowed to join the course she had registered for.

At the time of writing, Alqasem was planning a second appeal to Israeli courts. She stood her ground, refusing to bow to the demands by Erdan to renounce the BDS movement.

When I was denied entry to Israel last year, the Israeli interrogator had printed many pages of my tweets and challenged me about a small number of them. However, because they were presented to me in Hebrew I declined the opportunity to comment.

Israel’s arrests of Palestinians for social media posts have soared. In May, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Centre for Studies (PPC) said that Israel had detained some 500 Palestinians, including women and children, because of their social media posts. In 2015, Dareen Tatour, a Palestinian poet, was detained for three years, before her release last month, for writing a poem, entitled “Resist my people, resist.”

US Ban?

Entry denial due to BDS movement promotion is an established Israeli policy. I wonder, however, if my activity on social media, and my op-eds on the Palestinian conflict, were the reasons behind being denied boarding of a US-bound plane at Heathrow airport in August.

US authorities have thus far refused to provide me with an explanation as to why this happened despite having initially secured approval through the visa waiver (ESTA) scheme, just as any other British citizen is normally entitled to do.

ESTA entitles the holder to travel to the US without a visa for a two-year period. I had obtained this in the past and travelled to the US to attend conferences connected to my academic work without any problem, the last time being in 2015.

My trip was planned at short notice to spend Eid Al-Adha with relatives in America. Having obtained my ESTA, I made my way to Heathrow to board a Virgin Atlantic flight to Seattle on 17 August. Upon arriving, I tried to check-in via the terminals but could not.

I was informed by a member of staff that I would not be allowed to travel since my ESTA had been declined, despite its initial approval. No explanation was given. I was then told that I could apply for a visa at the American Consulate in London.

I was shocked and devastated. I had now missed the window for my holiday and lost a substantial amount of money, which was not recoverable.

What could possibly have changed since my last trip to the US? My immediate answer was that there was a new administration in the White House, with little tolerance for foreigners and which is blindingly supportive of Israel.

However, I decided to investigate further before my hunch was confirmed. I wrote to the US ambassador in London and completed a “redress” request directly to the US Department for Homeland Security.

A couple of weeks later, the embassy responded through its Customs and Border Protection Attache saying: “Whilst the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are unable to discuss any person’s denial of an ESTA or their admission into the US due to security/privacy policy laws, I can confirm that you will require Non-Immigrant visa should you wish to travel to the US in the future.”

The “redress” response, which arrived a few days later, was almost unintelligible.

Trump’s America

In the absence of an explanation, I am left with the conclusion that Trump’s America does not tolerate criticism of its policies and that it works very closely with Israel, sharing intelligence about individuals who are deemed undesirable for both countries.

It is safe to assume that Israeli authorities have supplied US authorities with names of individuals like myself who have been denied entry because of their advocacy for the Palestinian people. However, for the US to then deny them entry based on this peaceful work is very troubling.

I have been a severe critic of the current US administration’s policy towards the Palestinians. But does this make me a possible security threat to the US? Of course not. However, it helps Israel to further bully its critics into silence if they fear being denied entry to other countries that Israel can influence.

Neither denial of entry to Israel nor to the US will silence supporters of the Palestinian people. In fact, this will embolden us to be even more vocal in our criticism of apartheid Israel.

Joden uit de VS protesteren tegen het door Israël vermoorden van ongewapende Palestijnse demonstranten

Gelukkig is het grootste deel van de joden tegen het fascisme en daarmee tegen het zionisme. Zo demonstreren joden in de VS al een paar weken tegen het vermoorden door Israëlische sluipschutters van (ook nog eens) ongewapende demonstranten en intussen al twee journalisten, die duidelijk herkenbaar als journalist hun werk deden......

Jammer dat een groot deel van de joden (zoals het overgrote deel van het westerse publiek) zich in laten pakken door pro-Israëlische propaganda gebracht in de reguliere westerse (massa-) media en verwoord door het overgrote deel van de westerse politici. Het probleem is dan ook: hoe krijg je de juiste informatie bij de juiste personen, zeker in een tijd waarin de voornoemde media en politici om het hardst 'fake news' schreeuwen als men een bericht leest dat afwijkt van de gangbare propaganda.......

Toch verbazingwekkend te zien dat zoveel mensen zich dag in dag uit laten inpakken met voornoemde propaganda en niet inzien dat het opgediste nieuws van onwaarschijnlijkheid aan elkaar hangt..... Neem de zogenaamde gifgasaanval op Douma door het aan de winnende hand zijnde Syrische leger..... 

Waarom zou zo'n leger dat de bewuste terreurgroep Jaysh al-Islam ('leger van de islam', in het westen aangeduid als 'gematigde rebellen' ha! ha! ha!) al bijna het bewuste gebied, t.w. Oost-Ghouta had uitgewerkt, dit o.a. om haar eigen bevolking te bevrijden van de terreur die Jaysh al-Islam uitoefende, diezelfde bevolking vergassen?? (een bevolking die onder Jaysh al-Islam met zware terreur te maken had, onder meer door invoering van de sharia......) Te belachelijk voor woorden, terwijl deze mensen toch uit de voorgeschotelde propaganda op hadden kunnen maken dat juist de zogenaamde gematigde rebellen over gifgasvoorraden beschikken..... Waarnaast ze zouden kunnen weten dat de VN inspecteurs al in 2013 hebben verklaard dat het Syrische leger niet langer beschikt over chemische wapens, of laboratoria bezit om de troep te maken, noch productie faciliteiten over heeft........

De sociale en niet de reguliere media, die deze feitelijke informatie wel brengen worden door het voornoemde geteisem afgeschilderd als propagandisten van Rusland en Syrië en Iran......... BBC, zogenaamd een onafhankelijke zendgemachtigde, begon afgelopen vrijdag zelfs met het beschuldigen van de geweldige oorlogscorrespondent Vanessa Beeley, waar men het gore lef had te stellen dat ze een gevaar vormt voor Syriërs en westerse militairen, waar de laatsten illegaal in Syrië en Irak verblijven...... (waar het woord 'staatsgevaarlijk' nog net niet werd genoemd, waar dit woord bij wijze van spreken uit het bericht drupte*)

Tja, Beeley heeft te vaak laten zien dat de westerse media en politici liegen...... Zo liet ze de vreugde na bevrijding door het Syrische leger bij bewoners zien, die hadden geleden onder de terreur van zogenaamde jihadstrijders, hier zoals gezegd liefkozend 'gematigde rebellen' genoemd....... Zo liet ze bijvoorbeeld zien, dat na de strijd in Oost-Aleppo de mensen in grote getale terugkwamen naar hun veelal geboortestad, terwijl men hier rondbazuinde dat de mensen in grote getale wegtrokken uit Aleppo (de enige groep die dat destijds wel heeft gedaan, waren de familie's van de terreurgroepen, vaak van buiten Syrië afkomstig, zoals Nederlandse jihadstrijders en hun gezin.....)....

Nog even een 'update': De Great March of Return (of: the Great Return March), een vreedzame Palestijnse demonstratie in de Gazastrook, heeft intussen aan 41 ongewapende demonstranten (mensen) het leven gekost, of wel zij werden door laffe Israëlische sluipschutters vermoord.......

(MEE) — Fourteen American Jews were arrested by the New York Police Department after blocking the entrance to US Senator Chuck Schumer’s New York office on Thursday, the latest Jewish-led civil disobedience action aimed at pushing members of Congress to condemn Israel’s killing of Palestinian protesters in Gaza.

Chanting “Free, Free Gaza” and singing Jewish prayers while wearing black, the protesters, all members of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), sat in front of Schumer’s office building, locked arms and unfurled a banner that read: “Schumer, your silence is shameful. NYC Jews stand with Gaza. Palestinians should be free.”

The 14 who were arrested were joined by at least 40 other JVP members there to support the protest and push Schumer, the Democratic majority leader, to speak out against Israeli actions in Gaza. The demonstrators wore signs around their necks with the names of the 41 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces since 30 March, when Gazans began the Great March of Return.

The Gaza protest is a weeks-long encampment near Israel’s self-imposed militarised barrier with Gaza, calling for the right of return to lands Palestinians and their descendants were expelled from in 1948, when Israel was founded. The Palestinian demonstrators have been met with sniper fire and tear gas fired by Israeli soldiers.

“We’re here today to call on Senator Schumer to condemn the murder of 41 people in Gaza,” said MJ Edery, a member of JVP’s New York City chapter. “Everyone should have the right to peacefully protest for their rights without being murdered.”

Schumer has been one of Israel’s most steadfast backers in the US Congress.

But JVP said it hopes to use this protest to pressure other US senators to urge Israel to stop using sniper

fire on unarmed Palestinian protesters in Gaza.

The sit-in is the first in a series of JVP-led demonstrations to be held in front of the offices of US politicians across the country to press for enforcement of the Leahy Law, a US provision that prohibits American military aid from going to foreign army units that violate human rights. The US provides Israel with more than $3bn in annual military aid.

”As a Jew, I have a responsibility to speak out publicly when violence is committed in my name,” said Audrey Bruner, a JVP member who was arrested outside Schumer’s office.

Growing Jewish Protests Over Gaza

There have been several indicators, including these latest sit-ins at politicians’ offices, of a growing split in the American Jewish community over Israel’s decades-long occupation of Palestinians.

Since 30 March, at least 51 American Jews have been arrested protesting against Israel’s lethal response to the Great March of Return.

“The recent wave of actions reflects more broadly that the tide is turning in the American Jewish community, and its time that Jewish institutions took note,” said Noah Wagner, a Boston-based member of IfNotNow, a group of young American Jews that organise against the Israeli occupation.

Wagner is one of 37 IfNotNow members who have been arrested by police officers in various states for blocking the entrances to offices of US politicians or Israeli consulates. Wagner and seven other IfNotNow members were arrested after blocking the entrance to the Israeli consulate in Boston. The Israeli consulate responded by saying that the demonstrators were “lawless”.

“This is a moment of reckoning, a moment when young Jews are exhibiting moral leadership and showing a sense of clarity and integrity when it comes to putting fundamental human dignity first,” Wagner told Middle East Eye. “The violence in Gaza laid bare, exposed the ugliest undercurrents of the occupation, the real overt brutality that is required to uphold it. And I think that young Jews no longer feel we can look away.”

American Jews Increasingly Critical of Israel

The memberships of IfNotNow and Jewish Voice for Peace have steadily increased in recent years, the groups say, calling them a reflection of how Israeli human rights abuses of Palestinians are driving members of the American Jewish community away from supporting Israel.

For decades, the American Jewish community has stood as a pillar of support for Israel. Washington has shielded Israel from diplomatic sanction at the United Nations and has given it more than $134bn in aid, most of it military assistance, since 1948.

But the 50-year-long Israeli occupation of Palestinian land – and the deaths, mass detentions and building of illegal settlements, all hallmarks of its rule – has eroded support for Israel among American Jews.

Various studies have shown that more American Jews are becoming critics of Israel. Two surveys conducted by the Brand Israel Group six years apart revealed a drop in support for the state, as between 2010, when one poll was taken, anf 2016, support for Israel by Jewish college students dropped by 26 points.

Dov Waxman, a professor at Northeastern University, said that American Jews will not be able to change US policy towards Israel single handedly.

The US-Israel relationship rests on a number of pillars, like Christian Evangelical support, intelligence sharing and US weapons companies that profit from Israeli purchases.

Still, Waxman, who authored Trouble in the Tribe: The American Jewish Conflict over Israel, told Middle East Eye that the wave of American Jewish protests against Israel’s killings in Gaza was important.

“People involved in these demonstrations are the future leadership of the American Jewish community. It does matter what their views are and what their positions are,” said Waxman. “[The Jewish protests] can make a difference, particularly for some congressmen – it can embolden them to speak.”

And as Israel continues to inflict violence on protesters in Gaza, the Jewish-led protests in the US will continue, the groups involved say, in the hopes that pressure will embolden members of Congress to criticise Israeli actions.

“With Nakba Day, and the move of the US embassy [to Jerusalem] coming up, we can expect to see more tragedy and more death in Israel-Palestine,” said Wagner, the IfNotNow member. “We will be watching that with a lot of compassion and concern. We will not let that go unaddressed.”
