Radioactieve deeltjes van Fukushima ramp gevonden in de Beringstraat

Nadat eerder al zelfs tot voor de kust van Californië radioactieve besmetting van de Fukushima nucleaire ramp (Japan) werd gevonden, blijkt uit een onderzoek dat zich ook in de wateren van de Beringstraat radioactieve deeltjes bevinden, die één op één zijn terug te brengen op de 3 reactoren die bij de ramp van Fukushima zijn gaan smelten...... Overigens werd er ook radioactieve besmetting uit de centrale van Fukushima teruggevonden in wijn uit Californië en in tonijn die migreert van Japan tot westkust van de VS.......

Tyler Durden schreef een artikel over deze zaak op Zero Hedge, door mij overgenomen van Anti-Media, waar Durden o.a. op de vele kankergevallen wijst die werden gevonden onder het personeel van het VS marineschip de Ronald Reagan, zij waren de eersten die hulp boden, daar ze al in de buurt van Fukushima waren, toen de ramp met de 3 centrales van Fukushima begon.....

Ook een Brits marineschip heeft bijstand geboden in wat men Operatie Tomodachi noemt, dezelfde operatie die de USS Ronald Reagan begon. Ook hier 'onverklaarbare' kankergevallen, echter niet zo onverklaarbaar, daar deze ziektegevallen zijn terug te leiden naar de ramp in de Fukushima kerncentrale....

Vergeet verder niet dat de 3 centrales waarvan men zegt dat ze zijn gesmolten, in feite nog steeds smelten en met veel kunst- en vliegwerk probeert men een verdere afsmelting van de reactorkernen binnen de perken te houden, het is dan ook totaal onverantwoord dat Japan bezig is mensen terug te brengen naar hun woonplaatsen in de buurt van de reactoren en het daarbij uitkraait dat er geen gevaar is voor de volksgezondheid, zelfs door het eten van vis voor de kust van Fukushima te promoten, terwijl zoals eerder opgemerkt zelfs migrerende tonijn is besmet met radioactiviteit......

Eén en ander geeft aan dat de Japanse regering er totaal geen moeite mee heeft haar eigen burgers aan een dergelijk levensgevaar bloot te stellen......*

Atoomenergie is een letterlijk en figuurlijk doodlopende weg, waar de mensheid als geheel nee tegen zou moeten zeggen, helaas gaan er steeds meer stemmen op (ook in Nederland) om in de strijd tegen de klimaatverandering nieuwe kerncentrales te bouwen......

Hoe kan je daarvoor pleiten als je ziet dat verzekeringsmaatschappijen weigeren deze centrales te verzekeren, zelfs als men daar jaarlijks vele miljoenen voor over heeft.... Eén van de vele tekenen aan de wand als het om kernenergie gaat*: zeg nee tegen deze vorm van energieopwekking!!!

Radioactive Fukushima Particles Found in Alaska’s Bering Strait

(ZH) — Radioactive particles from Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant have drifted as far north as a remote Alaskan island in the Bering Strait, according to scientists at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks.

Seawater collected last year near St. Lawrence Island contained a slight elevation in levels of cesium-137, a man-made radioactive isotope formed during nuclear fission.

According to Reuters, the levels of cesium found in Alaska are far too low to pose a health hazard – as humans have been “cleared” to consume levels some 3,000-times higher than those found in the Bering Sea, according to the Environmental Protection Agency.

Water was sampled for several years by Eddie Ungott, a resident of Gambell village on the northwestern tip of St. Lawrence Island. The island, though part of the state of Alaska, is physically closer to Russia than to the Alaska mainland, and residents are mostly Siberian Yupik with relatives in Russia.

Fukushima-linked radionuclides have been found as far away as Pacific waters off the U.S. West Coast, British Columbia and in the Gulf of Alaska.

Until the most recent St. Lawrence Island sample was tested by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, the only other known sign of Fukushima radiation in the Bering Sea was detected in 2014 by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. –Reuters

In 2014, trace-amounts of Fukushima radiation was found in the muscle tissue of fur seals on Alaska’s St. Paul Island in the southern Bering sea, however there was no testing of the water at the time, according to Gay Sheffield, a Sea Grant marine advisory agent based in Nome, Alaska.

Three of the six reactors at the Fukushima Daiichi plant melted down in March 2011 after a 9.0-magnitude quake and subsequent tsunami knocked out the plant’s backup generators, disabling the pumps required to cool the reactors.

Since then, radiation has been detected on the West Coast – including California wine, the coast of Oregon, and bluefin tuna which migrate from waters near Japan to the west coast of California and Mexico.

And while virtually every report on Fukushima fallout on the West Coast notes that ‘the dose is measurable but extremely low’ – it’s hard to predict the long-term effects of even low levels of exposure over a lifetime.

Those who were closer to the disaster, such as several of the first responders on the USS Ronald Reagan, have subsequently been diagnosed with various forms of cancer and other illnesses.

For Piekutowski, the lance corporal from the Essex, he didn’t feel particularly sick until over a year after Operation Tomodachi. He was back stateside in the fall of 2012, and felt fatigued and had lost weight, and in November of that year, his ankles swelled up to the size of his calves. “I’m an in-shape and slim guy, and usually have pretty good definition,” he told me. His doctor thought it might be gout, though Piekutowski was skeptical. “I told him, I drink as much as the next 21-year-old, but I don’t drink that much.” Then, on Christmas Day, he lost the sight in his left eye. “That’s when I knew I should probably get to the hospital,” he said.

In the ER, Piekutowski said the doctors seemed to recognize right away what a blood test and bone-marrow biopsy later confirmed: He had leukemia. “They were honestly surprised I was still walking,” he said. Medical staff put him in a gown and rushed him to a bigger hospital.

Piekutowski was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), an aggressive form of blood cancer most often seen in men over age 65. It is rare to see it in an otherwise healthy 21-year-old. He began treatment in Arizona, where he’d been living, but then moved to Chicago to be closer to his parents and what Piekutowski called “some pretty amazing doctors.”

From Christmas 2012 to Valentine’s Day 2014, Piekutowski figures he spent eight months in hospitals. He first went through a year of chemotherapy, but after four months in remission, his leukemia returned. He had radiation and a stem-cell transplant at the start of 2014, which has so far kept him cancer-free. But Piekutowski is still struggling to rebuild his immune system, and battling stiffness and stomach problems. “I feel like I’m 60,” he said.

Het afbreken van oude kerncentrales is nergens voltooid, het is eenvoudig veel te duur om deze centrales af te breken, hoewel deze centrales te gevaarlijk zijn om nog langer draaiend te houden...... In feite hadden de zwaar gesubsidieerde kerncentrales geld moeten reserveren voor de afbraak van het geheel, echter daarvoor is er of veel te weinig, dan wel helemaal geen geld voor apart gezet........ Dan is er nog het probleem van opslag, waar ik dacht Rutte 2 ervoor koos om het debat en zoeken naar een 'duurzame vorm van opslaan' (die in feite niet bestaat) 100 jaar vooruit te schuiven (totaal belachelijk en onverantwoord!), vandaar dat Nederland deze letterlijke kankertroep voor de komende 100 jaar bovengronds opslaat....... Kortom: het draaiend houden van kerncentrales is peperduur en gaat voor een groot deel ten koste van de belastingbetaler (zowel op financieel gebied als op het vlak van de volksgezondheid....), waar ook de afbraak in de toekomst op de belastingbetaler zal worden afgewenteld, hoewel het me zeer zou verbazen als er wereldwijd ook maar één centrale zal worden afgebroken.....

Cannabis redt jongen die nog een paar dagen te leven had!! Radio1 kwam met nepnieuws over deze zaak......

Afgelopen dinsdag ontving ik een bericht van Anti-Media over een moeder, die haar zoon Deryn een cannabis extract had gegeven, waarop de jongen genas van de gevolgen, die hij opliep bij de behandeling van leukemie.

Deryn was genezen van leukemie, maar door complicaties als een ontsteking bleef hij pijn lijden, ook maakte hij geen nieuwe witte bloedcellen aan. De artsen hadden de jongen opgegeven en ook de jongen zelf was al met zijn begrafenis bezig.

Vanwege de pijn kreeg Deryn de zware pijnstiller fentanyl toegediend. De moeder had intussen gehoord over de kwaliteiten van cannabis extracten en wilde als alternatief voor fentanyl een middel hebben dat uit cannabis wordt gewonnen. Echter de artsen weigerden dit, daar het middel niet was toegestaan voor kinderen. Daarop richtte de moeder zich tot een cannabis dealer en kon uiteindelijk haar zoon een cannabisextract toedienen.

Al binnen een uur was Deryn veel minder bang voor de naderende dood. De artsen hadden de moeder gewaarschuwd, dat de witte bloedcellen niet terug zouden komen, echter na 5 dagen het cannabis extract te hebben gebruikt, kwamen de witte bloedcellen terug! Iets dat volgens de artsen onmogelijk door het extract kon zijn veroorzaakt, maar na het stoppen met dit cannabisextract, namen de witte bloedcellen weer af!

Radio1 liet gistermiddag verslaggever en flapdrol de luxe Lammert de Bruin, n.a.v. deze zaak uitzoeken, of cannabis inderdaad kanker kan genezen......... Werkelijk ongelofelijk dat de Bruin niet eerst even de berichtgeving erop na heeft geslagen, immers dan had hij geweten, dat Deryn niet met een cannabis extract van leukemie was genezen...... Tenenkrommend te horen hoe de Bruin door het programma heen, telkens weer dit nepnieuws herhaalde.........

Het is overigens al lang bekend dat cannabis een groot aantal aandoeningen ofwel kan genezen, of processen van degeneratie vertraagt en zelfs de groei van bepaalde soorten kankers kan stoppen.

Doctors Gave Boy 3 Days to Live, Then His Mom Secretly Gave Him Cannabis

(ANTIMEDIA) Both anecdotal evidence and clinical research are beginning to show the promise of cannabis in treating a variety of health issues. According to one family in the U.K., cannabis helped a dying teenage boy recover fully from complications from leukemia. The family recently appeared on the British talk show, This Morning, to discuss their experience.

Callie Blackwell’s son Deryn had been fighting leukemia followed by Langerhans cell sarcoma for four years — since the age of ten. Following doctors’ fourth and final attempt at a bone marrow transplant, they warned the family it was the last opportunity to save his life.

Though the surgery was successful, Deryn’s mother says he contracted an infection in the hospital. He grew extremely ill, and according to Callie, “He was literally being kept alive by antibiotics. That’s what they told us.” Doctors estimated he had three days to a week left to live following the turbulent aftermath of his transplant.

Deryn says he was ready to give up and had started planning his funeral. “After four years of treatment, it [was] enough,” he told This Morning.

In the meantime, however, his mother had been researching cannabis treatments. She says she kept hearing about it through word of mouth. However, because his cancer was technically already gone – he was succumbing to complications in the form of hand and stomach issues — she didn’t think it was a viable option.

Cannabis has recently been found, at least in preliminary laboratory testing, to shrink cancer cells. This early research is increasingly backed up by anecdotal evidence. Still, Callie didn’t think it applied and rejected cannabis as a potential treatment.

“The cancers [were] gone,” she said. “This [was] now a completely different issue. I would dismiss it and dismiss it.”

Nevertheless, Deryn remained sick and in hospice care, taking large doses of fentanyl, the strongest opiate painkiller on the market. He was still expected to die.

Callie asked doctors about Bedrocan, a cannabis-based pain relief product popular in Europe. “I wanted to go through the proper measures,” she said. However, she doctors told her it wasn’t an option because it hadn’t been approved for use in children.

That’s when she decided to obtain cannabis illegally and give it a chance. “He’s dying anyway,” she said.

Deryn, too, was open to the alternative treatment. “I was happy to [try it],” he said.

The New York Daily News explains that Deryn’s parents “met with a dealer to buy marijuana. They then found a recipe online that showed them how to turn it into a liquid form so they could give it to their teenage son.”

Callie clarified on This Morning that they did not use CBD (cannabidiol) or THC oil, the oils currently gaining popularity for treating everything from Parkinson’s disease to epilepsy to anxiety — and potentially cancer. Rather, they simply used a tincture.

“The effects of it blew my mind. It wasn’t what I expected,” she said.

Within half an hour to an hour, Deryn, who had been overcome with anxiety over his impending death, “was chilled out, just relaxed.”

Deryn’s condition improved not just emotionally, but physically. For example, when doctors removed bandages from his hands, expecting little to no progress, his fingers showed signs of recovery.

Further, doctors had warned that his white blood cell count would remain nonexistent, but after just five days of taking cannabis — 75 days after his final bone marrow transplant — they returned.

“All of a sudden his white count [had] appeared. Doctors were running around frantically” to do more testing, Callie said, though she added that at that time, Deryn’s white blood cell count was still very low.

To test the effectiveness of the tincture, Callie says she withdrew the treatment and the white blood cell count “started to go down again.”

Though Callie made it clear that she doesn’t endorse cannabis as a treatment that will cure cancer or work for everyone who tries it, she has no regrets about giving it to her son.

Experts are optimistic about the potential of cannabis, though they caution it is difficult to discern exactly what dynamic helped restore Deryn’s health, noting it could have been something entirely separate from cannabis that spurred his recovery. Further clinical research is needed to tease out exactly what alleviated his symptoms, as well as what causes such positive results in other patients who find success with cannabis.

As far as cancer is concerned, there is a great deal of uncertainty, as well as promise. “There have been lots of studies looking at the effect of cannabis on cells growing in the lab, but that’s been quite mixed, it seems to have had different effects on different types of cancer cells,” says Emma Smith, science information manager for Cancer Research U.K., as reported by the Independent.

For now, it remains illegal in the U.K., much of the United States, and many parts of the world. As one This Morning host interjected, “Anyone using the drug for any reason could be charged with possession.”

For Deryn’s parents, the risk was worth it. Deryn now aspires to open his own vegan restaurant. In his own words, he’s “Perfectly healthy. My white blood [cells] are all normal.”

Kind met leukemie uitgezet, of waar een klein land groot in kan zijn......

Vanmorgen hoorde ik in GMN (voor 10.00 u.), dat eind 2012 een Georgische familie is uitgezet naar Polen. Toen het gezin werd uitgezet, was een kind van die familie, een meisje, ernstig ziek. In het asielzoekerscentrum werden de klachten van het meisje niet serieus genomen, een verpleegkundige stuurde het meisje meermaals terug naar 'huis', met een paracetamol en een watje. Uiteindelijk werd besloten, dat men een bloedonderzoek zou doen, dat werd doorkruist doordat het gezin naar een uitzetcentrum werd verhuisd, ondanks de aanhoudende klachten (die weer met paracetamol en watjes tegen neus bloeden werden 'behandeld'), werd het gezin uitgezet naar Polen, waar men gelukkig binnen de kortste keren doorhad, dat  dit meisje ernstig ziek was (en is). In Polen werd de diagnose leukemie gesteld............
Het is als Nederlands burger, om je ogen uit je kop te schamen!
Hoe voelt de besproken verpleegkundige zich, lekker voldaan na gedane arbeid?
