Het kan je bijna niet zijn ontgaan dat er in Venezuela twee aardbevingen kort na elkaar hebben plaatsgevonden. De eenzijdig berichtende reguliere westerse media buitelden over elkaar heen om met sensationele berichten de aandacht van de westerse bevolkingen te trekken. Opvallend was dat men de enorme vernieling door de aardbevingen in Venezuela nu vergelijkt met de Gazastrook, hoewel diezelfde media aan het laatste (door Israël platgebombardeerde) gebied weinig of helemaal geen aandacht besteden...... (en hebben besteed.....)
Evenzo waren de reacties van de westerse regeringen die dezelfde media overstelpten met de bedragen die zij beloofden ter beschikking te zullen stellen van de Venezolaanse bevolking, die waarschijnlijk tienduizenden dodelijke slachtoffers zal hebben te betreuren, om over het grote aantal gewonden nog maar te zwijgen.
Het is de vraag hoeveel die westerse regeringen werkelijk ter beschikking zullen stellen, het zal de eerste noch de laatste keer zijn dat financiële beloften op dergelijke rampen niet worden nagekomen. 'Dat maakt dan ook niet uit', immers het gaat erom wat er in eerste instantie na dergelijke vreselijke rampen omging in de westerse bevolkingen, die met grote empathie de visuele en audio berichtgeving volgen en bij het grootste deel van die bevolkingen blijft de grootte van het bedrag dat hun regering 'ter beschikking heeft gesteld' toch wel in het hoofd hangen.
Schunnig ook de al kort na de ramp gegeven negatieve berichtgeving door de correspondenten van westerse reguliere media, die in Venezuela de frusratie optekenden van getroffenen en nabestaanden van de bij deze aardbevingen omgekomen Venezolanen..... Dat er bij dergelijk grote rampen veel misgaat is niet meer dan logisch, vergeet niet dat er bijvoorbeeld ook veel hulpverleners moeten zijn omgekomen dan wel gewond zijn geraakt.....
Waar die correspondenten, althans degenen die ik op de Nederlandstalige, Duitse, Britse en Canadese radiozenders hoorden, geen aandacht voor hadden is het feit dat het westen onder leiding van de grootste terreurentiteit ter wereld >> de VS (en dat was dat land al ver voor Trump in zicht kwam) Venezuela al een paar decennialang sancties hebben opgelegd, daar dit land onder president Chavez ervoor koos om de buitenlandse oliemaatschappijen en mijnbouwbedrijven de deur te wijzen, bedrijven die al heel lang het land beroofden van haar bodemschatten..... Verder heeft de VS al vele
jaren geleden beslag gelegd op 5 miljard dollar van de Venezolaanse
staat voor de aankoop van medicijnen en medische hulpmiddelen in de VS..... Nee geen aandacht daarvoor, wel stelden de meeste van deze correspondenten dat de economische situatie in Venezuela allang desastreus is ten gevolge van 'wanbeleid' en dat velen het land zijn ontvlucht, zonder de westerse sancties tegen het land te noemen, noch het grote aantal rijke misdadigers die het land inderdaad zijn ontvlucht en het feit dat al decennialang heel veel burgers uit bijna heel Latijns-Amerika de wijk namen naar de VS in de zoektocht naar wat meer welstand, waarbij men er niet bij vertelt dat het de VS is dat ervoor zorgt dat het grootste deel van dat werelddeel in armoede moet leven, het zij door sancties dan wel door het leegroven van de bodemschatten en het steunen van dictaturen onder andere door grote leveringen van wapens, munitie en ander oorlogstuig, dan wel het steunen of zelfs regisseren van een staatsgreep tegen een VS niet welgevallige regering...... (de VS is verreweg de grootste leverancier van wapens, munitie en ander oorlogstuig aan Latijns-Amerikaanse landen) Voorts hebben het grote bedrijfsleven in de VS en de leiding van andere westerse fabrieken, dan wel enorm grote agrarische bedrijven in dat werelddeel er alle belang bij dat de lonen op een laag niveau blijven, vandaar ook de grote westerse bemoeienis met verkiezingen in die landen, waar het westen (waaronder de EU en een flink deel van de aangesloten lidstaten) onder leiding van de VS veel geld steken in het tegenwerken van (veelal echt) linkse politieke partijen en hun kandidaten voor het hoogste ambt in de betreffende landen....
Vergeet niet dat zowel Chavez als Maduro de grote arme onderlaag in Venezuela uit de armoede hebben getild en hen gratis scholing, gezondheidszorg en goedkope, goede huisvesting hebben bezorgd. Vandaar ook dat de partij van Chavez, Maduro en nu Rodríguez >> PSUV, zonder inmenging van de VS, de grootste politieke partij zal blijven!!
Het is een grove schande dat de andere westerse landen niet een enorm protest hebben aangetekend tegen de ontvoering en marteling door de VS van Maduro en zijn vrouw, plus de vele Venezolanen die bij de VS-bombardementen op die dag werden vermoord.....
Terug naar de sancties >> de VS en haar westerse vazalstaten stellen altijd weer dat men nooit voedsel, medicijnen en brandstof sanctioneert, terwijl telkens weer blijkt dat men dit wel degelijk doet. Neem wat dat betreft de enorme misdaad tegen de menselijkheid door het volledig afsluiten voor alle goederen door de VS van Cuba.... Ik garandeer je dat wanneer Cuba morgen door eenzelfde grote aardbeving wordt getroffen als Venezuela, de VS vooraan zal staan bij de media om aan te geven dat ze miljoenen aan hulpgoederen zullen leveren aan Cuba, terwijl de VS nu al tot de enkels in het bloed staat van de Cubanen, die door deze volledige blokkade zijn omgekomen, anders gezegd >> die zijn vermoord middels de VS terreurblokkade.....
Tel dergelijke sancties op bij de aardbevingsramp die Venezuela trof en je zal begrijpen dat er niet alleen een direct tekort was aan voedsel en medicijnen door de ramp, maar bijvoorbeeld ook al een langer tekort was aan ambulances, brandweerauto's en andere voertuigen nodig bij een dergelijke ramp (minus de voertuigen die onklaar raakten bij die ramp), wat overigens ook geldt voor andere (ook medische-) hulpmiddelen die nodig zijn na een aardbeving op dergelijk niveau....
Gistermorgen in het NOS Radio1 nieuws het bericht dat de Nederlandse ploeg hulpverleners (van USAR.NL*), die in Venezuela ter plekke was om te helpen slachtoffers onder het puin vandaan te halen, al weer op de terugweg is daar de kans om nog levende slachtoffers te vinden klein zou zijn.... De zoveelste keer dat een Nederlandse ploeg die helpt na een ramp voortijdig terugkeert..... Zelfs als men maar 1 nog overlevende zou kunnen redden, zou dat voldoende reden moeten zijn om te blijven..... WDR 5 meldde aan het eind van de middag dat overlevenden met hun blote handen wanhopig probeerden om familieleden onder het puin vandaan te halen.... Toevoeging op 3 juli 2026: Volgens Deutschlandfunk werd er vandaag nog een overlevende onder het puin vandaan gehaald....
De Venezolaanse overheid zal geen tijd hebben om de vele hulpgoederen die het land binnenkomen te controleren, de vrees is dan ook dat bijvoorbeeld de VS via USAID grote hoeveelheden wapens tussen de hulp zal verstoppen, wapens voor terreurgroepen die men in het westen eufemistisch 'verzetsgroepen' noemt..... (dit op deze manier smokkelen van wapens is een specialiteit van de CIA en andere geheime diensten uit de VS.....)

De VS (terreur) en Trump
De verreweg grootste terreurentiteit ter wereld, de VS heeft sinds het aantreden van Trump niet alleen een groot aantal bootjes met inzittenden opgeblazen voor de kust van Venezuela, Colombia en Ecuador, zonder ook maar een flinter van bewijs te geven dat het hier om drugstransporten zou gaan, maar heeft ook een groot aantal vissersboten aangevallen en een aantal van de bemanningen zonder enige reden gevangengenomen en gemarteld, althans als ze de aanval al overleefden.....

De VS heeft al vanaf haar onafhankelijkheid lak gehad aan soevereiniteit van landen, aan internationale wet en regelgeving en aan alle ethische of morele waarden.... (dus ook zonder de psychopathische pedofiel Trump) Met de bijbel in de hand hebben de opvolgende regeringen de grootste genocide ooit uitgevoerd, die op de oorspronkelijke bewoners van Noord-, Midden- en Zuid-Amerika (met voorwerk van witte Europeanen als Spanje en Portugal, later met veel hulp van ook andere witte Europese landen)..... Nog steeds worden de oorspronkelijke volkeren gediscrimineerd in wat men Amerika (VS) noemt en in iets mindere mate in het Noord-Amerikaanse Canada en in feite worden die oorspronkelijke volkeren gevangengehouden in reservaten waar het leven hen moeilijk wordt gemaakt. De enige uitweg voor een aantal van deze oorspronkelijke bewoners is een casino beginnen waarmee ze aan armoede en uitzichtloosheid kunnen ontsnappen, dan wel door de reservaten te verlaten, waarbij de laatsten wel rekening dienen te houden met bij tijd en wijle zware discriminatie....

Dan nog de VS blokkade van Cuba, een blokkade van voedsel, medicijnen, medische hulpmiddelen en energie, wat gezien moet worden als een ernstige oorlogsmisdaad en een misdaad tegen de menselijkheid, die nu al aan een flink aantal mensen het leven moet hebben gekost, ofwel die mensen zijn vermoord....
Het kapen van schepen
Daarnaast moet nog het kapen van schepen uit Venezuela en Iran worden genoemd en het steunen van dan wel het uitvoeren van hetzelfde met schepen uit Rusland..... Weet je nog de hysterie over het kapen van schepen door Somalische piraten? Kapingen die werden veroorzaakt door het leegvissen van de Somalische kustwateren door enorme westerse vissersschepen, vooral die uit Frankrijk, waardoor die Somalische vissers brodeloos werden en zich gingen richten op het kapen van schepen.... Nu blijft de rest van het westen doodstil bij het op grove wijze schenden van het internationale zeerecht door de VS met het kapen van schepen en andere terreur, schendingen die nog wel 'wat verder gaan' dan die schending door Somalische 'piraten....' (zo meer over kapingen en daarmee het schenden van het internationale maritieme recht door de VS)
Trump gaat weliswaar verder dan een paar voorgaande presidenten, maar vergeet niet dat de VS, onder Trump en een aantal voorgangers, eenzijdig sancties heeft opgelegd aan een groot aantal landen die aan honderdduizenden mensen het leven hebben gekost....*(sancties die veelal werden en worden gesteund door de EU of een aantal EU-lidstaten) Deze eeuw moet daaraan worden toegevoegd dat de VS al 5 illegale oorlogen is gestart, op basis van leugens of false flag operaties, oorlogen die direct en indirect aan meer dan 5 miljoen mensen het leven hebben gekost, ook dat moet worden gezien als het begaan van massamoorden door de VS met hulp van haar NAVO-partners, waaronder Nederland..... En dan durft men in het westen met de vieze hypocriete vinger te wijzen naar Rusland en dat land sancties op te leggen, nu al het twintigste sanctiepakket..... Geen enkele sanctie voor die illegale westerse oorlogen en ook de zelfs nu al meer dan 2,5 jaar durende genocide door de fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël op de Palestijnen in de Gazastrook en op de West Bank..... (een genocide die politiek en militair wordt gesteund door de VS en Groot-Brittannië, terwijl de andere westerse staten wegkijken, landen die veelal ook wapens blijven leveren aan Israël en af en toe 'hun bezorgdheid uiten.....' Alleen Colombia, Bolivia, Cuba, Indonesië, Maleisië, Namibië, Zuid-Afrika, Libië, Oman, Irak, Saint Vincent en de Grenadines plus Nicaragua willen actie ondernemen tegen Israël.
De illegale oorlog van vorig jaar en die van dit jaar tegen Iran vormen de bloedige enorme kers op de meer dan rotte VS-taart, waar de VS nu ook de havens van dat land blokkeert en een containerschip uit Iran heeft beschoten en gekaapt, over dat laatste (die kaping) waren Trump en zijn terreurleger uitermate goed te spreken, alsof het een kunst is om met een totale marine overmacht een onbewapend schip met ongewapende bemanning te kapen.... Trump en de top van zijn leger spraken erover alsof dit een uitermate goed uitgevoerde specialistische militaire actie was >> te belachelijk voor woorden!!! Daarna zou de VS nog 4 schepen uit Iran hebben gekaapt >> zelfs in de territoriale wateren van India.......
Verdere VS terreur
Wat de VS blijft uitvoeren is ongebreidelde terreur in Midden- en Zuid-Amerika, waar het verslag over VS-terreur tegen vissers en zogenaamde drugsbootjes alweer met geen pen zijn te beschrijven, als gezegd >> zonder enig bewijs zijn intussen al meer dan 170 mensen vermoord en daarnaast worden vissersboten met dezelfde loze beschuldiging aangevallen, wordt de bemanning gevangengenomen en gemarteld en worden hun boten vernietigd, terwijl het maar de vraag is of de VS niet ook hele bemanningen van vissersschepen heeft vermoord, om zo geen spoor achter te laten....
'Hoog Nederlands bezoek' voor Trump
Totaal onbegrijpelijk dan ook dat 'onze premier' Jetten en het koningshuis de psychopathische moorddadige pedofiel Trump bezochten, onder andere 'om een vinger aan de pols te houden' en volgens W.A.: "Ik ben heel dankbaar dat we toch konden gaan om onze verschillen uit te spreken en duidelijk onze mening te geven....." Te triest voor woorden anders zou je je kapotlachen om zo'n doorzichtige uitspraak, die geen mens kan controleren, bovendien welke verschillen en welke mening??!! Gezien het geschil dat Trump had en heeft met de paus, is het totaal ongeloofwaardig dat wanneer W.A. en Maxima hem echt de les hadden gelezen, Trump daar in het openbaar niet zijn ontstemming over had uitgesproken......
Daarmee heeft het koningshuis nogmaals aangegeven totaal buiten de tijd te staan, het
is ver over de houdbaarheidsdatum, hoe men ook probeert zich buiten de regels voor het koningshuis te begeven door mee te doen aan
zaken die onze vrijheid, privacy en democratie te grabbel gooien, zoals
het lobbyen voor de digitale euro en het digitale EU-legitimatiebewijs... Voorts doet dit huis mee aan de leugen
dat Rusland een bedreiging is van onze vrijheid en democratie, terwijl
alleen de Europese NAVO-macht al veel sterker is dan die van Rusland, wat
niet alleen geldt voor het aantal mensschappen, maar ook voor het
bijbehorende oorlogstuig. Daarmee helpt dit totaal overbodige

As
airstrikes and reports of torture under Ecuador’s U.S.-backed military
regime continue to mount, fishermen tell Drop Site News they were
blindfolded and held hostage for eight days.

QUITO,
Ecuador—The last time Roxanna Mero heard from her husband Carlos was
January 19. Calling from sea on an emergency line, he said an “American
aircraft, two drones, and a blue patrol ship” had been circling La
Fiorella, the Ecuadorian fishing boat he captained. The presence of an
airplane worried him, given that Trump’s extrajudicial airstrikes across
the Pacific and Caribbean have killed more than 170 people in 6 months,
but a local coast guard had already inspected the vessel, found nothing
and cleared them to continue.
The next day, the boat went up in smoke. The eight fishermen aboard have not been seen since.
Three
independent accounts from relatives of the missing crew assert that
eyewitnesses, on a nearby raft at the time of the incident, saw La
Fiorella engulfed in flames. “They’ve been threatened not to speak to
the press. They’re scared for their lives,” said Angelica Lourdes Mero,
whose son and spouse are among the disappeared men.
Ninety
days after La Fiorella vanished, Roxanna told Drop Site News, “No
search team has been sent out. In Manta, we live with constant military
helicopters circling overhead every hour but none of them have been used
to find my husband.” The helicopters are part of ongoing US-Ecuadorian
joint operations, despite 60% of Ecuadorians voting to uphold the
constitutional ban on foreign military presence in their territories
this past November. The ban was originally introduced in 2007, precisely due to the U.S. military sinking fishing boats off the coast of Manta.
Under
right-wing president Daniel Noboa, Ecuador has become a critical U.S.
proxy in the region; described as a “North American colony” by political
analyst and former advisor to Ecuador’s Secretary of International
Relations Daniel Granja.
The
military regime, which rules by martial law, has stonewalled all
inquiries into the whereabouts of the fishermen. “They slammed the door
in our face,” Angelica Mero told Drop Site News.
The
United Nations Committee on Forced Disappearances, which was already
investigating Noboa’s armed forces prior to this incident, has issued a
letter demanding answers on La Fiorella. Opposition lawmaker Mónica
Palacios echoed those calls, announcing she will bring this case
directly to the U.N.
Now,
36 survivors of two Pacific attacks fitting a similar profile alleged
that they were abducted and tortured by American forces and taken by
boat all the way to El Salvador before being returned to Ecuador. Drop
Site spoke to multiple survivors and attorneys from both boats.
Drop
Site reached out to the U.S. Southern Command for comment on all three
incidents; they said they had no information to provide and directed
questions to Ecuador. Drop Site asked Ecuador’s Port Authority for
comment. They hung up after hearing the call was from journalists.
“Filled the floor of our lifeboat with blood”
On March 23, 16 Ecuadorian fishermen from a second vessel, La Negra Francisca Duarte II, were found by El Salvador’s coast guard,
their limbs mangled and backs etched with burns. One man’s foot was
spliced open, exposing bone. Another had lesions on the nape of his neck
that left him dizzy whenever he moved.
The
fishermen told Drop Site News they’d been struck by a drone with a
yellow cylinder five days earlier, forced to jump overboard to escape
the fire caused by the explosion, and subsequently taken captive by
forces on a U.S.-flagged blue patrol ship—just like the one Roxanna
Mero’s husband, Carlos Valencia Mero, had described before he
disappeared. Captain Hernán Flores, one of the 16 survivors, said the
word “Spear” was written on the hull of the blue ship. Trump’s
counternarcotics military program in the Americas is named Operation
Southern Spear.
“A
lot of us had wounds all over our bodies from the explosion. One young
man was bleeding so much he filled the floor of our lifeboat with
blood,” said Flores. “The drone had flown through our cabin window, torn
my nephew’s foot so bad you could see flesh and bone, and made the
boat’s roof cave-in on the back of my neck. A few seconds later, an
explosion shook the boat causing a terrible ringing in our ears. Out of
exasperation, the guys threw themselves into the water, some without
life jackets, even the ones who don’t know how to swim.”
As
the fishermen made their way toward what they hoped was safety on the
nearby blue boat, an aircraft hovered directly overhead. Nearing closer,
they spotted blonde-haired men, armed to the teeth, dressed in
camouflage uniforms, and yelling “hands-up” in English. Flores said they
began to pray, convinced they were going to die.
Guns
drawn, the men placed hoods over the fishermens’ heads, handcuffed
them, and held them on the blue ship’s scorching metal deck for over 24
hours, blistering their skin. The Ecuadorian crew of La Negra Francisca
Duarte II were surprised to find themselves detained following the
attack. Like Mero’s husband, they had been cleared to proceed by
Ecuadorian coast guard personnel just hours earlier at a checkpoint near
the Galápagos.
The
gunmen, issuing instructions through an interpreter, offered no
explanation for why they were being apprehended, nor did they bother to
inquire what had happened, as a rescue team might, or search their boat
for evidence, as a counternarcotics operation would. All but one
fisherman were denied medical attention, despite the severity of what
they had just endured. Held for days, they were refused food and given
only one bottle of water.

The
following day, despite being in Ecuadorian waters near the Galapagos
Islands, the kidnappers transported the fishermen roughly 900 nautical
miles north, turning them over to El Salvador’s coast guard.
Drop
Site News spoke to 11 associates across El Salvador’s Ministry of
Defense, coast guard, and navy, all of whom said they were aware of the
incident but were unauthorized to comment. In recent years, El
Salvador’s government has drawn scrutiny from human rights advocates
over President Nayib Bukele’s embrace of U.S. President Donald Trump’s
migration policies, labeling him an accomplice to U.S. human rights
violations, with several documented cases of torture in its
prisons—facilities the Trump administration has contracted to hold
deported migrants. On March 24, El Salvador’s authorities began
coordinating the return of the fishermen to Ecuador.
“Just
like the Americans didn’t do anything to help save us when our boat was
bombed, the Ecuadorian government also hasn’t done anything to help
us,” Flores told Drop Site. “It was our families who made sure we got
home safe.”
“El pueblo salva al pueblo,” he said, a popular Spanish saying about solidarity and mutual support between working-class people.
Ecuador’s
Foreign Minister, Gabriela Sommerfeld, cast doubt on the innocence of
the fishermen and defend the extrajudicial assault. “Ecuador and North
America are working cooperatively with joint activities. I cannot tell
you for sure what activities the fishermen were carrying out or the
situations they are in,” Sommerfeld told local media.
Throughout
her tenure, Sommerfeld has repeatedly come under fire for failing to
uphold international law. Most notably, when Ecuador stormed the Mexican
embassy to kidnap former Vice President Jorge Glas of left-wing party
Revolución Ciudadana, ending diplomatic ties between the two nations for
the first time since they were established in 1838. An event that
Tamara Lajtman, researcher with the Lawfare Observatory and the
Institute for Latin American & Caribbean Studies, said was the
foreshadowing for an autocracy rife with abuses, “It revealed a
willingness to use state force outside of any legal limits. It’s really
not an isolated incident, but rather a symptom of an authoritarian way
of exercising power.”
Legal
counsel for La Negra Francisca, Jorge Chiriboga, frames the airstrike
as a similar breach of international law. “This is an invasion of
Ecuador’s airspace and maritime because it occurred within Ecuador’s
Insular Exclusive Economic Zone,” Chiriboga told Drop Site. Chiriboga,
shared GPS photos with Drop Site News taken at the site of the bombing
showing La Negra Francisca was operating within permitted limits.
“These
attacks are no longer just a mistake,” he continued. It is a planned
and coordinated abuse against working-class civilian fishermen who are
unarmed and they should be condemned by international law. Imagine these
bombs would’ve killed all of them, it is an extrajudicial action by a
foreign nation, it’s an abuse by the biggest force in the world.”
“They treated us like animals”
The
second report of torture came two weeks later. On April 3rd, 20 more
Ecuadorian fishermen aboard the Don Maca were intercepted by El
Salvador’s coast guard. Arriving with vision and hearing loss, bruised
limbs, and perforated arms, they reported a strikingly similar account
of an alleged attack by U.S. soldiers: a bombarded boat, a round of
bullets, and no due process.
This time, the men charged that they had been held hostage and hooded for eight days.

“They
treated us like animals,” said Sebastián Palacios of the Don Maca
vessel, his thousand-yard stare welling with tears as he embraced his
family at the Manta airport upon finally returning to Ecuador weeks
later.
Several workers of both the Don Maca and La Negra Francisca remain hospitalized; many are receiving psychiatric care, as well.
The attorney for the Don Maca crew, Pilar Muñoz, recounted her clients’ testimonies to Drop Site News.
“Two
small drones and one big drone had been tailing them for 24 hours,” she
said. “They informed Don Maca’s owner, Cristian Mendoza, of the
sighting, and he assured them not to worry, as the boat and fishermen
had all the proper licensing and registration. He told them, ‘There’s no
problem since you’re just there to fish.’”
“But
the next day,” Muñoz continued, “a drone struck their boat, causing an
explosion just 15 centimeters from the gas tank. Had it hit any closer,
they would’ve all died from the explosion, and there would’ve been no
survivors to tell this story.”
Immediately,
the crew scrambled to raise a white flag, signaling they were unarmed
and in distress. Men in uniforms on an adjacent boat—who the survivors
of Don Maca also identified as U.S. military—followed with multiple
rounds of glass pellet gunfire, leaving crew member Erik Coello with 70%
vision loss and his arms riddled with puncture wounds and embedded
glass. They eventually ceased and instructed them to approach their
boat.
The fishermen said the kidnappers were white, spoke English, and accompanied by a translator with an Ecuadorian dialect.
A
survivor, who asked not to be named due to pending legal action, told
Drop Site News that, once detained on the boat, he was fired on again
with a pellet gun. The account resembled what Coello had experienced,
though by then the men had been hooded and were unable to see what
exactly was being done to them.

Just
before men in fatigues forced hoods over their heads, the fishermen
caught a glimpse of them doubling back to bomb and sink their already
damaged boat.
“If
the boat would’ve actually been carrying drugs, they wouldn’t have
drowned the boat because they would’ve needed to use it as proof,” Muñoz
pointed out.
Ecuador’s interior minister, for example, released video
of a different detained vessel around the same time that was found
carrying 300 packages of cocaine 180 nautical miles off the coast of
Manta. In the video, officials are seen carefully locating, documenting,
and preserving the evidence with no signs of a drone strike. Unlike Don
Maca or La Negra Francisca’s fishermen, the alleged traffickers aboard
the vessel were returned to Ecuador the same day, alive and without
apparent serious injuries— paraded in front of TV outlets as a victory
lap for the Ecuadorian government.

Noboa’s Unconstitutional War
While
no drugs or illicit behavior were found on any of the three boats, the
same cannot be said for ships belonging to the family and private
enterprises of Ecuador’s right-wing president, Daniel Noboa.
In 2025, Colombian investigative journal, Revista Raya, revealed
that €26 million worth of cocaine headed for Croatia had been seized by
Ecuadorian authorities from the shipping containers of Noboa Trading.
Leaked chats showed Balkan drug traffickers bragging that they had
exclusive access to Noboa Trading ports and containers.
An
employee of Noboa Trading, Jose Luis Rivera, responsible for inspecting
the ports for narcotics, has been arrested by Ecuadorian officials four
times in connection to drug trafficking. Noboa’s personal attorney, as
well as its current Ecuador’s Minister of Health, served as the legal
representation for Rivera. Rivera’s charges were dismissed after
Ecuador’s attorney general decided not to pursue charges. In March the
head of Ecuador’s notorious cartel, Los Tiguerones, told Spanish newspaper El Mundo that
President Noboa struck a deal with the group to whip votes for his
election in exchange for immunity, contradicting his primary campaign
pledge to combat drug trafficking and corruption.
The
Miami-born billionaire, who was elected president of Ecuador only after
the assassination of his political rival, Fernando Villavicencio;
American mercenary group, Blackwater, patrolled voting sites on election
day. Noboa has since built a military regime, backed by the U.S.
through Pentagon-supplied bombs, and enforced using a never-ending
decree that the country is in a state of war. The FBI even opened its
first office on Ecuadorian soil under the pretext of fighting drug
trafficking. A UN probe determined there was insufficient legal basis
for Noboa’s state of war decree.
Tamara
Lajtman, researcher at the Lawfare Observatory, calls it “the
consolidation of an authoritarian project with strong elements of
militarization and geopolitical alignment with the United States.”
“Ecuador is being reconfigured as a strategic enclave in the hemispheric
security architecture of the United States, especially in that
strategic competition with China,” Lajtman continued. “We’re seeing
raids, judicial proceedings, actions in the electoral arena, public
stigmatization.”
The
spectacle of “combatting drug trafficking” while actually targeting
civilians is reminiscent of Colombia’s 2006 “Falsos Positivos” scandal
wherein U.S.-funded armies massacred an estimated 6,000 disabled men,
luring them to remote areas under the false promise of a job, then
slaughtering and dressing them in guerrilla uniforms to meet wartime
quotas.
In March, the New York Times published an investigation
that found campesinos, in the indigenous and oil-rich Sucumbíos region
of the Amazon, had been kidnapped, waterboarded, electrocuted, and
bombed during a joint operation by the Ecuadorian military and U.S.
Southern Command. Using U.S. intelligence, the operation had supposedly
identified a FARC dissident drug camp. However, the New York Times, and
several local journalists, found no proof of a drug camp—only a farm
whose workers were left with severe physical and psychological trauma.
As
executive power continues to be unconstitutionally consolidated in
Ecuador, through the banning of political opposition parties, the
rescheduling of elections, the kidnapping of democratically elected
officials, and the assasination of indigenous workers on strike, a sense
that the country has slid into autocracy now prevails. As former
president of Ecuador’s National Assembly and the leader of Noboa’s
largest political opposition party, Gabriel Rivadeneira, said, “Ecuador
is living under dictatorship. Whoever raises their voice to defend the
rights of their people either has their life threatened, their house
raided, or is sent to jail.”

and grew up in Florida, had already travelled to Colombia as an

provocations, with regular incursions into Cuban airspace by Brothers to
the Rescue planes. There are many signs the situation Trump has imposed on Cuba are coming to a head. Earlier this month, the U.S. imposed
yet another set of sanctions on the country that UN experts warned risk
triggering the “energy starvation” of the island nation. Protests have flared in recent days, as
frustration with the collapsing economic condition has been aimed at
the government—the precise goal the U.S. has been pursuing with its
policy of immiseration. And reports indicate
that the number of U.S. military surveillance flights taking place near
the island have skyrocketed in recent weeks, raising fears of an
impending operation. The Cuban government has survived decades of enmity from the
United States, both overt and covert. The Brothers to the Rescue planes,
in fact, were contracted by José Basulto, a self-confessed CIA operative
who admitted to engaging in terrorist activities aimed at overthrowing
the Cuban government. Cuba had regularly approached the U.S. via
diplomatic channels to stop the flights but the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) took corrective action only after the downing of
the two planes. According to declassified documents
published by the National Security Archive, the White House was aware
of the danger represented by these provocations, warning of a “worst
case scenario” that eventually came to fruition. Trump’s
recent threats to “take” Cuba, however, coupled with the recent loss of
energy supplies from Venezuela and the Castro indictment, may mark the
most serious threat to the country’s independence since its 1959
revolution. “Foreign aggression, no matter where it comes from,
would only unite the
people of Cuba,” Gerardo Hernández Nordelo told Drop Site News.
Hernández, who is now national coordinator of the Committees for the
Defense of the Revolution. “Even those who do not yet agree with this
government, those who complain about the scarcities, those who
criticize, would unite to defend the sovereignty of their country.”
“Cuba poses no threat to either the government or the people of the
United States [but] if there is one word that has been erased from the
Cuban vocabulary, it is precisely the word ‘surrender,’ there will be no
surrender here; no one is going to come here and plant an American boot
on our soil and tell us what to do in our own country,” Lizara Corona, a
member of one of Cuba’s volunteer civilian militias from the Diez de
Octubre neighborhood, told Drop Site News in an interview in Havana in
April. Corona had just finished celebrating—alongside thousands of
other militia members in Havana—the anniversary of the proclamation of
the socialist character of the Cuban Revolution. The celebration took
place at the very same site in the Vedado neighborhood of the city where
Fidel Castro had made the proclamation 65 years earlier during a
funeral service for victims of U.S. bombings of Cuban airfields—events
that preceded the failed 1961 CIA-sponsored Bay of Pigs invasion of the
country.

India on Saturday, 16 May, organized by the country’s major left parties
to express solidarity with the Caribbean nation. Rodríguez
also appealed to the world to strengthen its solidarity with the Cuban
people who despite the growing hardships caused by brutal and
illegitimate policies of the American superpower have refused to give up
their hard won independence and sovereignty. The gathering was organized by groups such as the Communist Party of
India (Marxist), Communist Party of India (CPI), Communist Party of
India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation, Revolutionary Socialist Party
(RSP), Forward Block and others under the banner of the National
Committee for Solidarity with Cuba and slogan, “Cuba is not alone!” Despite
the current challenges, Parilla affirmed that the Donald Trump
administration’s attempts to seek legitimacy for its brutal, barbaric,
and uncivilized acts of collective punishment against the Cuban people
are bound to fail. He
claimed that the executive orders signed by Trump this year on 29
January and 1 May, calling Cuba an imminent and extraordinary threat to
US' national security and foreign policy were desperate lies invented to
justify its long held dream of regime change. Regarding
the impact of the tightened economic blockade on Cuba, Rodríguez
highlighted that due to the blockade on fuel, essential services such as
healthcare and transportation have faced serious complications and much
of the island’s population has been subjected to frequent blackouts.
The tightening of the blockade has intensified its accumulated impacts
and the Cuban minister called it an act of genocide. One
of the gravest manifestations of the blockade’s impact on health is
that the infant mortality rate in the country doubled from 2018 to 2025. Nevertheless,
Rodríguez declared that the Cuban people will continue to resist and
will never let the imperialist power succeed in its intentions. Apart
from the decades of economic warfare and directly sponsoring violence
and terrorist acts in Cuba, the US has now also issued explicit threats
of military aggression. In
the face of Washington’s reiterated threats of military intervention
against Cuba, Rodríguez argued that this would cause humanitarian
catastrophe not only in Cuba but the entire region. He said the US
should not have any doubt about people’s resolve to stand up and fight
against its aggressions to protect the revolution and their sovereignty. He
also dismissed the imperialist media narratives about the alleged
failures of the socialist system in the country, noting that people
inside and outside Cuba know that it “is not an inefficient state” but a
state which is harassed and under attack in order to undermine the

The total control of communication within the group. 2.
Loading
the language.
Using “groupspeak” to censor, edit and shut down criticism or
opposing ideas. Followers must mouth the mindless Trump-approved
clichés and cult jargon. 3. Demand
for purity.
An us-versus-them view of the world. Those who oppose the group are
wrong, unenlightened and evil. They are irredeemable. They are
contaminants. They must be eradicated. Any action is justified to
protect this purity. The goal of all cult leaders is to widen and
make irreconcilable social divisions. 4.
Confession:
The public confession of past wrongs. In the case of Trump
supporters, this includes the disavowal, as U.S. Vice President JD
Vance and others have done, of past criticism of Trump, with public
admission of their former wrong-thinking.
5. Mystical
manipulation.
The belief that those in the group are specially chosen with a higher
purpose. Those in Trump’s orbit act as though they are divinely
elected. They convince themselves that they are not coerced to
embrace Trump’s lies and vulgarities — or repeat cult jargon —
but do so voluntarily. 6. Doctrine
over person.
The rewriting and fabrication of personal history to conform to
Trump’s interpretation of reality. 7. Sacred
Science.
Trump’s absurdities — global temperatures are declining
rather than rising, the noise from wind
turbines

such as Lysol is an effective treatment for the coronavirus — are
presented as grounded in science. This scientific patina means
Trump’s ideas apply to everyone. Those who disagree are

worthless. They do not deserve moral consideration.

TABAKSACCIJNS EN CORRUPTIE
Tips voor 'vapers': veel gezeur anno 2019 over vapen en een 'vreemde longziekte'. Gebruik je e-sigaret niet als een gewone sigaret, immers die brand op en je moet dus blijven roken tot je het zat bent of tot de sigaret op is. Dit hoeft niet met de e-sigaret, deze werkt, mits opgeladen en gevuld met vloeistof, direct en je kan deze na een paar trekken wegleggen. Nogmaals: gebruik de e-sigaret dan ook niet als een sigaret. Daarover gesproken: als je aan een e-sigaret trekt doe dit dan niet direct op je longen, maar als een sigaret, dus eerst in je mond en dan pas inademen. Het laatste zie je maar weinig mensen doen (althans ik zie dat weinig). Directe inademing is overigens ook al niet nodig als je wiet of hasj rookt, ook het in je longen houden van de rook met wiet of hasj is totaal overbodig, je kan dit gewoon als een sigaret roken, 'stoned' wordt je toch wel en even snel. Houd je aan deze zaken en je zal zien dat je met vapen heel veel minder tabak rookt, of daar zelfs helemaal mee kan stoppen! Dan nog het volgende: vape alleen met vloeistof die van tabak is gemaakt, de extra smaken voegen meer overbodige schadelijke stoffen toe. Het is een misvatting dat vapen even slecht is als tabak, er zitten aanzienlijk minder schadelijke stoffen in en in vergelijking met de gewone sigaret, bevat de vape vloeistof maar één verslavende stof en dat is nicotine (in de gewone sigaret zitten meerdere verslavende stoffen waar de minst verslavende nicotine is !!!).Tot slot, rook je nog niet? Begin er niet aan en ga ajb niet vapen! Verslaving aan tabak is een vervelende en uiterst kostbare ziekte.
Per 1 maart 2011 werden de tabaksaccijns verhoogd. Voor shag ging de prijs met 0,26 cent per pakje van 45 gram omhoog.
Per 1 juli 2012 verhoogden de fabrikanten de prijs van tabak, voor een pakje shag met 15 cent. Per 1 januari 2013 wordt de prijs van tabak door de regering nog eens verhoogd, voor shag maar liefst 60 cent per pakje!
Maar er is meer, de belastingdienst heeft gezorgd voor minimum accijns: het absolute bedrag dat wordt geheven, is per 1 maart 2011 zodanig verhoogd, dat deze ten alle tijde gelijk is aan het bedrag dat als accijns wordt geheven op de hoogste prijsklasse. Een leuk cadeau in 2011, van de zeer 'integere' CDA tabakslobbyist Hillen en het laatste kabinet Balkenende, voor de grote tabaksfabrikanten, waar zoals gezegd in 2012 nog een cadeau van het disfunctionerende demissionaire kabinet Rutte bijkwam in 2013, met hulp van 'oppositiepartijen D66, GL en CU.
Daarnaast zijn al die prijsverhogingen een mooi cadeau voor de georganiseerde misdaad, die jaarlijks miljarden sigaretten smokkelen. Niets nieuws, want het CDA heeft via de EVP toch al hechte banden met de maffia, bij de VVD is het al niet veel anders en zoals blijkt ook bij D66, GL en CU.
Begin februari 2011 werd bekend, dat een onderdeel van defensie zich bezighield met misdaad, o.a. werd de smokkel van illegale sigaretten genoemd....
Vooralsnog weigert (september 2012) demissionair minister van Volksgezondheid Schippers de tabaksindustrie te dwingen de samenstelling van 'geheime' stoffen in tabak prijs te geven, stoffen die de verslaving aan tabak verzwaren en die de gezondheid nog meer schaden...
Het is zelfs zo zot, dat de minst verslavende stof in tabak nicotine is...... Nadat D66 hufter Borst weigerde de extra verslavende stoffen in tabak te verbieden, daar dit het roken zou bevorderen, hebben alle regeringen daarna deze meer dan schunnige houding
gevolgd.....
Totale opbrengst van tabaksaccijns in 2011: twaalf miljard euro!!!!!!!!!!! Dus als u nog eens wilt zeuren over de hoge kosten die rokers voor de gezondheidszorg opleveren..............
Het is intussen 2019 en nog steeds liegt men in de politiek dat prijsverhogingen het enige middel is om roken tegen te gaan. Daarvoor wijst men naar Australië, zonder te melden dat daar het aantal gerookte illegale sigaretten volgens deskundigen het aantal legaal verkochte sigaretten benadert...... Overigens is het nu al een paar jaar zo dat het aantal rokers in Nederland niet daalt, ondanks de enorme prijsverhogingen (waarvan vooral arme Nederlanders het slachtoffer zijn en zoals je weet: financiële problemen zijn geen stimulans om te stoppen met roken....).......

Muziektip van uw Azijnpisser bij de koppen en aanhangsels van Wilders en andere fascisten
Zit u zich te ergeren aan Wilders of andere politici met aanhangsels, beluister dan bijvoorbeeld Alabama 3 met het nummer 'Woody Guthrie' van de cd 'Power in the blood'. En u weet het: geluidsniveau 80 en de bas op abn (aardbevingsniveau). U zult merken dat u daar weer wat rustiger van wordt. Wetenschappelijk is het al vaker bewezen: muziek kan geneeskrachtig werken!
Atoom-stroom
Er werd tot voor kort veel reclame gemaakt voor atoomstroom. Als u in het bezit bent van 2 hersencellen of meer, zal u de leugens onmiddellijk herkennen. Voor de 1 hersen-celligen of andere dombo's het volgende: atoom-stroom is allesbehalve co2 vrij, kijk naar de bouw van zo'n centrale, afbraak is nog nooit gedaan en is praktisch bijna onhaalbaar. Bij de winning van uranium ontstaat een gigantische milieuvervuiling. Van ellende weten we niet waar we met het afval naar toe moeten. Dan de leugen subsidievrij: er is geen manier van energie opwekken, waar zoveel subsidie voor is gebruikt en gebruikt wordt dan voor kernenergie. Nog belangrijker: u scheept de wereld, uw kinderen en kindskinderen op met een gevaarlijk afval probleem, niet alleen het kernafval, ook de gebouwen die blijven staan zijn levensgevaarlijk afval! Het is inmiddels april 2013 en zijn we de ramp met de kerncentrales in het Japanse Fukushima 'rijker', intussen is het ongeveer een jaar geleden, dat de pro-kernenergie reclames te horen waren, maar waakzaamheid blijft geboden. De lobbyisten voor deze peperdure en levensgevaarlijke technologie werken dag en nacht door..... Samsom, de PvdA windvaan was voor de ramp in Japan, al 'voorzichtig' voor kernenergie, een mening die 180 graden draaide na de ramp in Fukushima, maar kijk niet op, als hij later zijn mening weer eens omdraait... Aanvulling op de veiligheid: volgens IT specialist Ronald Prins van Fox-IT, kan een elektriciteitscentrale via internet worden aangevallen, zelfs als de systemen niet op dat net zijn aangesloten (zie mijn bericht van 10 december 2010)
Het is bij de laatste aanpassing van deze boodschap april 2013 en binnenkort wordt de kerncentrale van Borssele stilgelegd voor de jaarlijkse controle, Essent en Delta hebben met de overheid afgesproken niet het hele reactorvat op haarscheurtjes te controleren....
