Afgelopen woensdag was het zoals te verwachten, vanwege de Nobelprijs voor de Vrede, bal op vooral de Duitse radiozenders WDR 5 en Deutschlandfunk, al loog men ook op de BBC en NPO Radio1 keihard over Machado en Venezuela, waarbij men op geen enkel moment aanhaalde dat zij de door de VS al 20 jaar lang ingestelde sancties steunde tegen Venezuela (haar land). Sancties die zoals een paar jaar geleden al bekend werd gemaakt aan minstens 100.000 mensen, inclusief een groot aantal kinderen, het leven hebben gekost (ofwel die mensen zijn vermoord!!), sancties die verder de economie van Venezuela ernstig hebben geschaad*. (volgens The Lancet is het aantal slachtoffer van sancties in de meeste gevallen groter dan die door oorlogsvoering....) Je zal begrijpen dat het aantal slachtoffers als gevolg van die sancties, in feite een vorm van oorlogsvoering, nu een heel stuk groter is....

Niets ook over de VS aanvallen op bootjes die uit Venezuela komen, zogenaamd met drugs voor de VS, terwijl de FBI en de CIA hebben verklaard dat er vanuit Venezuela praktisch geen drugs worden uitgevoerd..... Het aantal doden van die illegale VS aanvallen en ronduit moorden wordt al meer dan een week op meer dan 80 gehouden, het zal me niet verbazen als dit de 100 intussen is gepasseerd.... De reguliere westerse media stelden aanvankelijk dat het volgens de VS om vermeende 'drugsbootjes' zou gaan, daarmee aangevend dat het maar de vraag is of dit waar is, waarbij nog werd gemeld dat er door de VS geen bewijs werd gegeven voor die bewering. Intussen spreekt men bij wijze van spreken zonder met de ogen te knipperen over 'drugsbootjes' dit op onder andere WDR 5, Deutschlandfunk en de BBC World Service radio.... (nogmaals: zonder enig bewijs voor die bewering!!) Het valt me alles mee dat de NOS op NPO Radio1 nog wel meldt dat er geen bewijs wordt geleverd voor de beweringen door de VS (hoe de andere zendgemachtigden op NPO Radio1 berichten over deze 'drugsbootjes' weet ik niet, daar de programmering van die zendgemachtigden zo allemachtig slecht is dat ik er allang geen tijd meer aan besteed)
Deutschlandfunk begon (voor mij) die woensdag rond 9.10 u. met de aftrap >> met veel omhaal werd verteld dat Maduro een dictator is en dat Venezuela een dictatuur is, wat absoluut niet waar is, Venezuela is een democratie en Maduro is democratisch gekozen. Dat de rechtse oppositie Maduro niet kan verslaan is geen wonder als je bedenkt dat Maduro en zijn voorganger Chavez het grootste deel van de Venezolaanse bevolking uit de armoede hebben getrokken, hen gratis volksgezondheid brachten, hen alfabetisering en verdere scholing brachten, hen goede en goedkope huisvesting brachten plus goedkope energie.
Volgens Deutschlandfunk ging de dochter van Machado naar Oslo, daar Machado ondergedoken zou zitten in Venezuela. Ook WDR 5 kwam met een dergelijk bericht. Verder werd gesteld dat de Venezolaanse overheid zou hebben gedreigd haar te arresteren als ze zou proberen te vertrekken. Echter in het nieuws van 12.00 u. afgelopen woensdagmiddag meldde men op de laatste zender dat Machado toch naar Oslo onderweg was.
In het nieuws van 12.30 u. diezelfde woensdagmiddag meldde Deutschlandfunk dat de reis van Machado 'onder bijzonder gevaarlijke omstandigheden had plaatsgevonden', zonder ook maar met een paar woorden aan te geven waarom dit zo zou zijn......
Gisteren (11 oktober 2025) in het NOS Radio1 nieuws van 8.00 u. als eerste een bericht over Machado, waarin werd gezegd dat ze een dag eerder net te laat was aangekomen in Oslo om de Nobelprijs in ontvangst te nemen, haar dochter had dit voor haar gedaan, dit aldus de nieuwslezer vanwege een uitreisverbod dat Machado was opgelegd. Eigenlijk 1 van de varianten, die de dag ervoor al voorbij waren gekomen. Geen woord over de terreur van de VS die een olietanker afkomstig uit Venezuela had geënterd en het beheer daarover had overgenomen, niets anders dan piraterij die de hele wereld op de kop had moeten zetten, maar als gezegd niet belangrijk genoeg was voor het nieuws van 8.00 u., dat begon met het uitgekauwde nieuws over Machado van een dag eerder en waar schunnig genoeg pas als vierde onderwerp het onderlopen van tentenkampen in de Gazastrook voorbijkwam, waarbij de fascistische terreurstaat Israël alles gebruikt om zoveel mogelijk Palestijnse mensen te vermoorden, direct of zoals in dit geval indirect door het weer, daar het Israëlische leger zo ongeveer alle huizen heeft platgebombardeerd, dit met hulp van het westen >> zowel met politieke steun, als middels wapen- en munitieleveringen.....
Wat betreft die olietanker is het ongelofelijk te horen hoe de reguliere westerse media die stap van de VS verdedigen en daarbij net doen alsof de sancties tegen dat land door een VN-resolutie worden gesteund, terwijl ze illegaal door de VS zijn opgelegd en worden gesteund door haar slaafse westerse vazallen. Men stelt in die media dat Venezuela de uitvoer van olie gebruikt om de economie draaiend te houden en dat daarmee de sancties worden ontdoken, terwijl deze sancties als gezegd illegaal zijn opgelegd..... (alsof het een misdaad is dat Venezuela die sancties ontduikt en dat de landen die deze olie importeren zich daar ook schuldig aan maken.....)
Hier de tekst van een petitie die CodePink bracht op 11 oktober 2025, kort nadat bekend werd gemaakt dat Machado de Nobelprijs voor de Vrede zou krijgen en waarin precies wordt uitgelegd waarvoor fascist Machado echt staat, het is dan ook ronduit schandalig dat zij de Nobelprijs voor de Vrede kreeg en niet bijvoorbeeld de journalisten die in de Gazastrook zijn vermoord en hun collega's die nog leven (daarna meer schrijven van mijn hand):

When I saw the headline “María Corina Machado wins the Peace Prize,” I almost laughed at the absurdity. But I didn’t, because there’s nothing funny about rewarding someone whose politics have brought so much suffering.
Anyone who knows what she stands for knows there’s nothing remotely peaceful about her politics. If this is what counts as “peace” in 2025, then the prize itself has lost every ounce of credibility. I’m Venezuelan-American, and I know exactly what Machado represents.
She’s the smiling face of Washington’s regime-change machine, the polished spokesperson for sanctions, privatization, and foreign intervention dressed up as democracy.
Machado’s politics are steeped in violence. She has called for foreign intervention, even appealing directly to Benjamin Netanyahu, the architect of Gaza’s annihilation, to help “liberate” Venezuela with bombs under the banner of “freedom.” She has demanded sanctions, the silent form of warfare whose effects – as studies in The Lancet and other journals have shown – have killed more people than war, cutting off medicine, food, and energy to entire populations.
Machado has spent her entire political life promoting division, eroding Venezuela’s sovereignty, and denying its people the right to live with dignity.
This is who María Corina Machado really is:
She
helped lead the 2002 coup that briefly overthrew a democratically
elected president and signed the Carmona Decree that erased the
Constitution and dissolved every public institution overnight.
She
worked hand in hand with Washington to justify regime change, using
her platform to demand foreign military intervention to “liberate”
Venezuela through force.
She
cheered on Donald Trump’s threats of invasion and his naval
deployments in the Caribbean, a show of force that risks igniting
regional war under the pretext of “combating narcotrafficking.”
While Trump sent warships and froze assets, Machado stood ready to
serve as his local proxy, promising to deliver Venezuela’s
sovereignty on a silver platter.
She
pushed for the U.S. sanctions that strangled the economy, knowing
exactly who would pay the price: the poor, the sick, and the working
class.
She
helped construct the so-called “interim government,” a
Washington-backed puppet show run by a self-appointed “president”
who looted Venezuela’s resources abroad while children at home went
hungry.
She
vows to reopen Venezuela’s embassy in Jerusalem, aligning herself
openly with the same apartheid state that bombs hospitals and calls
it self-defense.
Now
she wants to hand over the country’s oil, water, and infrastructure
to private corporations. This is the same recipe that made Latin
America the laboratory of neoliberal misery in the 1990s.
Machado was also one of the political architects of La Salida, the 2014 opposition campaign that called for escalated protests, including guarimba tactics. Those weren’t “peaceful protests,” as the foreign press claimed; they were organized barricades meant to paralyze the country and force the government’s fall. Streets were blocked with burning trash and barbed wire, buses carrying workers were torched, and people suspected of being Chavistas were beaten or killed. Even ambulances and doctors were attacked. Some Cuban medical brigades were nearly burned alive. Public buildings, food trucks, and schools were destroyed. Entire neighborhoods were held hostage by fear while opposition leaders like Machado cheered from the sidelines and called it “resistance.”
She praises Trump’s “decisive action” against what she calls a “criminal enterprise,” aligning herself with the same man who cages migrant children and tears families apart under ICE’s watch while Venezuelan mothers search for their children disappeared by U.S. migration policies.
Machado isn’t a symbol of peace or progress. She is part of a global alliance between fascism, Zionism, and neoliberalism – an axis that justifies domination in the language of democracy and peace. In Venezuela, that alliance has meant coups, sanctions, and privatization. In Gaza, it means genocide and the erasure of a people. The ideology is the same: a belief that some lives are disposable, that sovereignty is negotiable, and that violence can be sold as order.
If Henry Kissinger could win a Nobel Peace Prize, why not María Corina Machado? Maybe next year they’ll give one to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation for “compassion under occupation.”
Every time this award is handed to an architect of violence disguised as diplomacy, it spits in the face of those who actually fight for peace, like the Palestinian journalists in Gaza who, with no safety or rest, document the bombings, name the victims, and keep the truth alive when the world looks away.
Tell the Nobel Committee that they uplift war criminals, not peacemakers!

Zoals je al kon lezen heeft Machado meegewerkt aan een mislukte coup tegen Chavez, daar de rechtse oppositie als gezegd nooit een meerderheid zal krijgen in Venezuela, anders dan middels een staatsgreep**. Eerder schoof de VS met steun van de rest van het westen (en haar eenzijdige reguliere media) de ronduit fascistische schreeuwer Guaidó naar voren als 'oppositieleider' terwijl hij amper 2% van de stemmen wist te behalen, ik heb gezocht hoeveel procent van de stemmen 'Vente Venezuela' de partij van Machado vorig jaar won bij de presidentsverkiezingen, echter dat cijfer kon ik niet vinden (ik geef toe dat ik maar 5 minuten heb gezocht, maar dat zou normaal gesproken ruim voldoende moeten zijn...)
Afgelopen woensdag nog gaf Google nog aan dat Edmundo González de oppositieleider was in Venezuela, een dag later dus 11 december werd dat plotseling veranderd in Machado en toen ik daarna de vorige oppositieleider zocht kreeg ik van Google als uitkomst de fascistische schreeuwer Guaidó (dus i.p.v. González).... Zo snel kan de desinformatie veranderen en uiteraard doen de reguliere westerse media mee aan deze enorme oplichting.....
Gisternacht (die van 10 op 11 december) en daarna overdag veel halleluja jutteperen over Machado en dat ze de avond daarvoor vanaf haar balkon het Venezolaanse volkslied zong, met hulp van medestanders beneden.... Natuurlijk geen melding over het feit dat deze kwaadaardige, inhumane figuur achter illegale westerse sancties stond en staat, sancties die zoals gezegd een paar jaar geleden al aan meer dan 100.000 Venezolanen het leven hebben gekost, ofwel mensen waaronder veel kinderen die indirect werden vermoord als gevolg van die sancties onder andere gesteund door Nederland.....

Update om 18.07 u. op 12 december 2025 >> een verduidelijking over de import van Venezezolaanse olie, wat allesbehalve een misdaad is, daar de sancties illegaal aan Venezuela werden opgelegd door de grootste terreurentiteit ter wereld >> de mecenasVS (gesteund door haar slaafse westerse vazallen). Bovendien zou de VS zelf 1 van de importeurs van die olie zijn.
