Iraanse weerstand tegen de zoveelste georganiseerde opstand met dank aan de VS en Israël

Scott Ritter is een omstreden figuur vanwege veroordelingen wegens pedofilie, echter dat neemt niet weg dat hij als oud VN-wapeninspecteur grote kennis heeft van het Midden-Oosten en Oost-Europa, niet vreemd dan ook dat hij schrijft over de demonstraties in Iran, dit op een manier die deels ingaat tegen de eenzijdige westerse berichtgeving van de reguliere media en politici.

Politici als de Duitse bondskanselier Merz die op bezoek in India zijn 'licht liet schijnen' op de demonstraties in Iran, waar hij pleitte om sancties tegen Iran in te zetten. Alsof het westen niet allang sancties heeft ingezet tegen Iran en deze niet aan een enorm aantal mensen het leven hebben gekost en daarmee in feite het bewind in Teheran jarenlang versterkt in het zadel hebben gehouden... 

Israël voert nog steeds een genocide uit op de Palestijnen in de Gazastrook, niet alleen met direct wapengeweld, maar ook door alle medische hulp onmogelijk te maken en zelfs organisaties als Artsen zonder Grenzen (MSF) de Gazastrook te hebben uitgezet.... Dit nadat het psychopathisch moordende fascistenleger van Israël het werk in alle ziekenhuizen onmogelijk heeft gemaakt, onder andere door ze te bombarderen, plus het vermoorden van artsen, specialisten en verpleegkundigen, dan wel hen gevangen te hebben gezet en hen te hebben gemarteld en dat nog steeds doet, martelingen die niet zelden eindigen met de dood van de slachtoffers ofwel moorden, die als de gehele genocide op de weerloze Palestijnse bevolking in de Gazastrook, moeten worden gezien als zware misdaden tegen de menselijkheid.... Verder houdt Israël bijna alle medicijnen en medische hulpmiddelen tegen die bedoeld zijn voor de Gazastrook, een manier om indirect Palestijnen te vermoorden, zoals dat ook gebeurt met het ontzeggen van voedsel en drinkwater aan deze arme drommels, waaronder een groot aantal kinderen..... Intussen heeft Israël sinds 7 oktober 2023 al meer dan 700.000 Palestijnen vermoord, waar bijna de helft van de vermoorden bestaat uit kinderen....

Naast het weigeren door Israël van het grootste deel van de voedselhulp voor de Palestijnen, weigert het fascistisch genocidale Israël bovendien om weerbestendige tenten, brandstof, verwarming en gereedschappen voor waterafvoer toe te laten tot de Gazastrook, waardoor kinderen en zwakke mensen overlijden vanwege de kou (verreweg het grootste aantal tenten staat deels of geheel onder water, in combinatie met de kou is dat dodelijk). 

Over de genocide in de Gazastrook gesproken >> ongelofelijk als je ziet hoeveel aandacht er in het westen is voor Iran in vergelijking met de Gazastrook, waar de meeste westerse reguliere media nog steeds het woord genocide niet gebruiken voor wat Israël aanricht in de Gazastrook.... SCHANDE!! Toegevoegd na plaatsing: onbegrijpelijk dat men dagelijks bericht over wat er in Oekraïne gebeurt, maar zelden of nooit hoeveel Palestijnen er zijn vermoord in de afgelopen 24 uur, trouwens als je de westerse reguliere media en verreweg het grootste deel van de politici moet geloven is de genocide in de Gazastrook afgelopen, een leugen van gigantische proporties!! Israël heeft al een enorm aantal keren het zogenaamde Peace Plan van Trump geschonden en gemiddeld worden er dagelijks 5 Palestijnen vermoord sinds de laatste 3 maanden, meer dan 1.200 Palestijnen werden er in die periode (ook zwaar) verwond door de psychopathisch moordende fascisten van het Israëlische leger......

Welnu >> datzelfde Israël had het gore lef, aldus (zowaar) de Duitse staatszender Deutschlandfunk afgelopen zondag (11 januari 2026) in het nieuws van 15.00 u., om de wereld te vragen de Iraanse Revolutionaire Garde op de terreurlijst te zetten (uiteraard niet op de manier zoals hier verwoord), terwijl in een normale, wel rechtvaardig sociale wereld Israël zelf al vele decennia geleden op de internationale terreurlijst zou zijn gezet en zo ongeveer alle mogelijke sancties tegen zich had gezien, waarbij dit gestolen land zonder hulp van de grootste terreurentiteit ter wereld >> de VS en haar slaafse westerse partners, allang failliet was geweest....

In datzelfde nieuws van Deutschlandfunk het bericht dat EU commissievoorzitter von der Leyen heeft laten weten ook sancties tegen Iran in te zetten, alsof de EU (en wij dus ook...) eerder al geen sancties hebben ingesteld tegen dat land, bovendien deed ze het voorkomen alsof ze dit op eigen houtje heeft gedaan, dus zonder medeweten van het EU parlement, deze kwaadaardige 'dame' denkt werkelijk keizerin van de EU te zijn..... 

 

Vanmorgen op de BBC World Service (radio) de voorzitter van het Europese parlement Roberta Metsola, zij stelde overduidelijk dat het Europese parlement voor die sancties had gekozen, blijkbaar heeft von der Leyen gisteren al 'tegenwind' gehad.... Metsola stelde op de vraag of de bevolking van Iran niet getroffen zal worden door extra sancties dat deze worden afgestemd met Iraniërs, ook die zich in Iran zouden bevinden..... Totaal ongeloofwaardig, daar contact met de bevolking in Iran praktisch onmogelijk is en mocht er al een contact zijn is dit beperkt tot enkele mensen, terwijl de Iraniërs buiten Iran voor een groot deel smeken om ingrijpen van Trump, waar dit gepaard zal gaan met enorm bloedvergieten, ofwel deze Iraniërs hebben lak aan hun landgenoten die onder de knoet van de Moellah's moeten leven..... (een vergelijking met Nobelprijs 'voor de Vrede' winnaar Machado, die in het verleden aan Netanyahu heeft gevraagd Venezuela te bombarderen...)

‘REGIME CHANGE IN IRAN HEEFT GEFAALD’

Dat is de interessante kijk van John Mearsheimer, een politicoloog met specialisatie Internationale betrekkingen. Hij laat de bewijzen zien voor de nauwe betrokkenheid van de VS en Israël bij het aanwakkeren van de protesten. Dat zou ook het extreme geweld voor een belangrijk deel verklaren.

Het model van regime change kennen we ook van eerdere brandhaarden in de wereld. Het ‘playbook’ gaat als volgt:

1. Er worden internationale sancties opgelegd die de bevolking hard treffen;

2. De ontevredenheid, onrust en protesten worden aangewakkerd;

3. Een desinformatiecampagne moet duidelijk maken dat het om spontaan protest gaat;

4. Dan volgt militaire actie en/of de komst van elitetroepen.

Het regime heeft de protesten grotendeels onder controle, stelt Mearsheimer. Omdat de eerste drie kenmerken niet tot het gewenste resultaat hebben geleid, acht hij militaire actie (voorlopig) niet waarschijnlijk.

Toevoeging op 23 januari 2026, onder andere na het lezen van het Facebookbericht van Bernard Claeys verderop hieronder, met een inleiding door Ton Geurtsen, moet ik bij het volgende opmerken dat ik wel er kort door de bocht ben gegaan met de opmerking over het bewind in Teheran, mijn excuus daarvoor >>  Uiteraard is het moellah bewind in Teheran totaal fout bezig en is het een schande als je ziet dat men met scherp op demonstranten schiet, maar zonder het westen was dit bewind allang en breed verleden tijd geweest, bemoeienis die in 1953 begon met het afzetten van de democratisch gekozen premier Mohammad Mossadegh, die werd afgezet door ingrijpen van terreurorganisaties ('geheime diensten') CIA en MI6. Een vergelijking met Venezuela daar Mossadegh na het afzetten van dictator sjah Reza Pahlavi, de olie-industrie nationaliseerde en sociale hervormingen doorvoerde, waaronder een gezondheidszorg voor iedereen, betaalbare huur (plus huurbescherming) en landhervormingen. Sinds 1913 was de olie-industrie in handen van de Britten, wat dan ook de grootste reden was tot ingrijpen en het afzetten van Mossadegh. Uiteraard werd Pahlavi na het illegale ingrijpen van de CIA en MI6 weer op de troon gezet en konden de Britten doorgaan met het stelen van olie uit het land.....

Opvallend ook dat Israël goede banden onderhield met dictator Pahlavi, waarmee het land goedkoop aan Iraanse of beter gezegd aan Perzische olie kon komen....* 

Daarover gesproken: de naam Iran, 'land van de Ariërs' werd aan Perzië gegeven door sjah Pahlavi in 1935, deze dictator was aan de macht vanaf 1923. Niet vreemd dan ook dat deze sjah zich tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog aan de kant van nazi-Duitsland schaarde, te zot voor woorden dan ook dat men de naam Iran heeft aangehouden nadat deze dictator werd afgezet vanwege zijn foute keus tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog, om te worden opgevolgd door zijn zoon, die dezelfde naam droeg >> Mohammad Reza Pahlavi en al even bloedig het volk onderdrukte. Behoorlijk brutaal dan ook dat de zoon van de laatste Pahlavi dictator nu eist dat de VS ingrijpt, zodat hij weer de troon kan bestijgen en de olie kan doen toekomen aan westerse oliemaatschappijen, VS-ingrijpen dat als gezegd zonder twijfel tot nog veel meer bloedvergieten zal leiden, waar deze Pahlavi schijnbaar niet mee zit >> tekenend!!

Het is ook nu vrijwel zeker dat als in eerdere gevallen de VS en Israël de grote gangmakers zijn van de protesten in Iran**. 

Kortom het westen is meer dan deels mede verantwoordelijk voor wat er nu in Iran gebeurt, het is dan ook uitermate hypocriet dat juist het westen de grootste bek heeft over de situatie in Iran, of beter gezegd Perzië (die naam zou beter heringevoerd moeten worden om daarmee Iran: het 'land van de Ariërs', met de enorme stank van de nazi-ideologie, voorgoed te vergeten....) Al zal die naamsverandering niet plaatsvinden als je ziet dat er langzaam maar zeker een zwarte deken over het westen en de rest van de wereld neerdaalt, een dictatoriale fascistische deken wel te verstaan.....

Iranian Resilience

Back in 2023 I had the honor of meeting with former Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi while he was in New York for the General Assembly debate. He provided me and the others in attendance with a very frank and detailed assessment of the situation in Iran following the tragic death of Mahsa Amini in police custody in 2022. He described the massive internal unrest that followed as the greatest threat to the Islamic government of Iran since the revolution. He stated that foreign intelligence services had taken advantage of societal fractures and were seeking to break Iran apart. He stated that Iran had been able to defeat these outside forces, and was a stronger nation because of it.

Raisi died in a helicopter crash in May 2024. He was replaced by the current President, Masoud Pezeshkian. In September 2025 I was again invited to a meeting with President Pezeshkian in New York. He stated that Raisi’s death had led to a division in the Iranian government about policy on how to deal with the West. He said that foreign intelligence services, led by Israel and the US, sought to exploit these divisions, and that the decapitation attack carried out by Israel with the assistance of the United States in June 2025 was designed to collapse the Iranian government and create an opportunity for anti-government forces to take control. Pezeshkian noted that these efforts failed, and that Iran emerged from the 12 Day War with Israel and the United States more united than ever.

The effort to topple the Iranian government was a major Israeli/United States objective. Both Israel and the United States have pulled out all the stops to create the current unrest in Iran. But the Iranian victory against the foreign-led opposition in 2023, combined with the unification of political purpose which emerged after the June 2025 war, has made Iran extremely resilient against outside efforts to overthrow the Islamic government.

The Iranian government is on the verge of fundamentally defeating the foreign supported opposition in Iran today. This has Israel in a panic, because they have burned the totality of their resources in Iran in support of the current unrest. The United States as well is concerned that an Iranian government victory today will make it impossible to change the regime in Tehran. There is a real danger that the United States and Israel may launch attacks on Iran in the near future designed to weaken and discredit the Iranian government while providing military cover for the opposition forces carrying out acts of violence in Iran today.

It is highly unlikely that these attacks will succeed in their own right. They will, however, trigger an Iranian response that will disrupt oil production in the Middle East for a significant period of time.

This appears to be the goal of the Trump administration, and explains in large part the timing of the United States attack on Venezuela, which sought to secure Venezuelan oil in anticipation of a new energy crisis triggered by a joint US-Israeli attack on Iran.

The world is looking at a deliberate attack on global energy security as a means of bringing down Iran, weakening Russia, and destabilizing BRICS.

WAAROM DE IRAANSE PROTESTEN ZO PLOTSELING EINDIGDEN 

Daarop geeft journalist Thomas Röper. gesanctioneerd door de EU vanwege het ‘verspreiden van desinformatie’, in dit uitstekende artikel een antwoord. Het is belangrijk omdat er tevens mee aangetoond wordt dat de protesten in Iran geen volksverzet waren, ook al begon het wel met het stellen van sociaaleconomische eisen aan de regering. Zo begonnen immers ook eerdere ‘kleurenrevoluties’ die van buitenaf werden overgenomen. Het hele vervolg was een keten van massaal en extreem geweld:

‘De protesten van de afgelopen weken in Iran waren geenszins vreedzaam, zoals westerse media melden. Integendeel, steden werden in brand gestoken en terroristen (er is geen andere manier om ze te beschrijven) schoten op demonstranten en willekeurige voorbijgangers, vielen hen aan met messen en gooiden explosieven naar hen om chaos te zaaien, de protesten te laten escaleren en vervolgens te beweren dat dit alles politiegeweld was.’

Resultaat: enkele duizenden doden, beschadiging en vernieling van 250 scholen, 300 moskeeën, 90 religieuze onderwijsinstellingen en 2.221 voertuigen van de veiligheidstroepen.

De regering maakte bij het aanzwellen van de onrust de internettoegang ongedaan, maar Elon Musk bood daarop Starlink aan. Ook dat wist het regime te ontmantelen. En dan komt het:

‘Meer dan 80 procent van het internetverkeer via de Starlink-terminals viel uit – en de protesten eindigden vrijwel onmiddellijk nadat de organisatoren in het buitenland de onrust niet langer konden coördineren.’

Anders gezegd: het plotselinge einde van de protesten laat zien dat het een van buitenaf gestuurde operatie was. De aanwijzingen zijn sterk genoeg om de VS en Israël verantwoordelijk te houden.

Thomas Röper: Wie westerse media consumeert, gelooft dat mensen in Iran vreedzaam protesteerden tegen een brutaal regime en dat datzelfde regime vreedzame demonstranten zonder onderscheid heeft vermoord. De westerse media negeren gemakshalve het buitensporige geweld dat door de demonstranten is gepleegd.

Ik ben zelf ooit in Iran geweest, al is dat meer dan tien jaar geleden. Ik zeg niet dat de regering populair is bij Iraniërs; integendeel. Zelfs toen begonnen de vele gesprekken met Iraniërs altijd op dezelfde manier: eerst vroegen ze waar ik vandaan kwam, dan hoe ik Iran vond, en als derde vraag voegden ze er steevast aan toe: "Trouwens, onze regering is waardeloos."

Aangezien de situatie in Iran sindsdien niet is verbeterd, is het onwaarschijnlijk dat de regering vandaag de dag populairder is dan destijds.

Maar er is een grote "maar": als er één ding is dat de meeste Iraniërs nog meer verafschuwen dan hun eigen regering, dan zijn het de VS en Israël. Hierbij moet echter wel een onderscheid worden gemaakt, want niemand in Iran heeft iets tegen Joden, zij vormen een speciaal beschermde minderheid; het gaat om de staat Israël en haar beleid.

We zagen dit tijdens de twaalfdaagse oorlog die Israël en de VS een paar maanden geleden tegen Iran ontketenden. Destijds geloofden de Amerikanen en Israëliërs dat het Iraanse regime zo onzeker was dat de oorlog de bevolking ertoe zou aanzetten de regering omver te werpen. Zoals we weten, gebeurde het tegenovergestelde, en zelfs veel critici van het regime schaarden zich achter de regering.

In Iran is men niet vergeten dat de VS de gekozen regering omverwierpen en de sjah installeerden, die Iran niet bepaald welvaart bracht, maar de olie juist aan de Britten en Amerikanen overliet.

In dit eerste artikel over de onrust in Iran laat ik zien dat de protesten in Iran lang niet zo vreedzaam waren als de Duitse media ze afschilderen, en in het tweede artikel beschrijf ik hoe de Iraanse leiding erin slaagde de protesten snel te beëindigen. En nee, geweld was niet nodig, alleen het verbreken van de communicatie met de organisatoren van de onrust in het buitenland.

De “vreedzame” protesten

De protesten van de afgelopen weken in Iran waren geenszins vreedzaam, zoals westerse media melden. Integendeel, steden werden in brand gestoken en terroristen (er is geen andere manier om ze te beschrijven) schoten op demonstranten en willekeurige voorbijgangers, vielen hen aan met messen en gooiden explosieven naar hen om chaos te zaaien, de protesten te laten escaleren en vervolgens te beweren dat dit alles politiegeweld was.

Volgens Iraanse cijfers (en de mensen in Iran kunnen zien wat er is gebeurd) zijn meer dan 250 scholen, 300 moskeeën, 90 religieuze onderwijsinstellingen en 2.221 voertuigen van de veiligheidstroepen beschadigd of vernield tijdens de zogenaamd "vreedzame" protesten . Reuters meldt, op basis van bronnen, dat er minstens 5.000 mensen zijn omgekomen bij de onrust, onder wie 500 politieagenten. Hoewel dit nog geen definitief cijfer is, wordt niet verwacht dat het significant zal stijgen.

Wie de beelden uit Iran heeft gezien, die westerse media doorgaans niet tonen, ziet brandende auto's en gebouwen en relschoppers, maar geen politieagenten die hiervoor verantwoordelijk zouden kunnen zijn.

Nog een kleurenrevolutie

Wat er in Iran is gebeurd, vertoont de bekende patronen van kleurenrevoluties die door de VS worden aangewakkerd. Eerst wordt de onrust georganiseerd; volgens de Iraanse regering werden hiervoor geharde IS-terroristen naar Iran gehaald. Vervolgens berichten de westerse media over politiegeweld en verzwijgen ze de brutaliteit van de "vreedzame" demonstranten.

Door de VS gefinancierde ngo's, die zich voordoen als de Iraanse oppositie maar feitelijk niet in Iran gevestigd zijn en vaak meer Amerikanen dan Iraniërs in hun leiding hebben, melden enorm overdreven aantallen slachtoffers, waardoor er een ware concurrentie ontstaat om de meeste slachtoffers te melden. Er worden geen bronnen vermeld, maar westerse media plaatsen deze verzonnen cijfers wel in hun krantenkoppen. Ik heb precies aangetoond hoe dit in Iran werkt aan de hand van het voorbeeld van de protesten van 2022 .

Ik heb geïllustreerd hoe westerse media cijfers kunstmatig opblazen wanneer dat hun verhaal dient, aan de hand van het voorbeeld van kinderen die naar verluidt door Rusland uit Oekraïne zijn ontvoerd. Er zijn 339 gedocumenteerde gevallen van omstreden kinderen die de Oekraïense regering uit Rusland wil terughalen. Maar westerse media spreken over wel 700.000 kinderen die door Rusland zijn ontvoerd. Je kunt hier lezen hoe de westerse media van 339 gevallen 700.000 maken .

Hoewel dit voorbeeld niets met Iran te maken heeft, illustreert het treffend hoe westerse media te werk gaan wanneer ze cijfers willen opblazen. Ze gebruiken namelijk hetzelfde "stille-telefoonspel"-principe, waarbij ze ongeverifieerde, fantasievolle cijfers van diverse ngo's als de werkelijkheid presenteren wanneer ze berichten over vermeende slachtoffers van politiegeweld in Iran.

De rol van Starlink

Tijdens de protesten legde de Iraanse regering het internet plat, met als rechtvaardiging dat "de terroristen instructies uit het buitenland ontvingen". Dit past ook in het klassieke patroon van een kleurenrevolutie, aangezien de protesten in Wit-Rusland in 2020 vanuit Polen werden gecoördineerd. Dit heeft als voordeel dat de regering die door de onrust wordt getroffen, de coördinatoren van de couppoging niet kan arresteren.

Nog interessanter is echter het feit dat iemand minstens 20.000 Starlink-terminals Iran heeft binnengesmokkeld, waar ze op de zwarte markt verschenen voor 2.000 dollar (meer dan 20 keer het gemiddelde maandloon in Iran). De Jerusalem Post berichtte over deze cijfers in de zomer van 2025.

Toen de Iraanse overheid het internet afsloot, stelde Starlink onmiddellijk de toegang tot zijn satellietinternet gratis beschikbaar, zodat de organisatoren van het protest hun acties konden blijven coördineren. Ondanks de internetblokkade (en ook de afsluiting van internationale telefoonverbindingen) bleven informatie en beelden uit Iran stromen, en bereikten instructies van de Amerikaanse (en vermoedelijk ook Israëlische) protestorganisatoren het land.

Wat er vervolgens gebeurde, wordt niet in de Duitse media gemeld. Iran (deskundigen vermoeden met Russische hulp, aangezien Rusland dankzij de oorlog in Oekraïne aanzienlijke ervaring heeft met Starlink) legde Starlink in Iran simpelweg plat, iets wat zogenaamd onmogelijk is. Meer dan 80 procent van het internetverkeer via de Starlink-terminals viel uit – en de protesten eindigden vrijwel onmiddellijk nadat de organisatoren in het buitenland de onrust niet langer konden coördineren.

Hoe Iran dit heeft bereikt, wordt uitgelegd in het tweede artikel over de kleurenrevolutie in Iran.

Maar zelfs deze oppervlakkige blik op de protesten in Iran laat zien dat dit overduidelijk weer een poging tot staatsgreep door de VS was, een kleurenrevolutie die aan het westerse publiek moest worden gepresenteerd als een nieuwe "democratische omverwerping".

MOSSAD IS AANSTICHTER VAN EXTREEM GEWELD IN IRAN

Dat was eigenlijk al lang duidelijk, maar het is handig als dat vanuit de veiligheidsdienst zelf bevestigd wordt. Opvallend openhartig, maar wat kan Israël nog gebeuren na de alom door machthebbers gesteunde genocide? Het land kan gewoon zijn gang gaan.

The government sent the police out to protect those grocers, those business owners, those ordinary working people in Iran.   Waters also echoed claims that foreign intelligence services then tried to captured the protests, including by attacking security forces:   But they were attacked by gangs of armed thugs who murdered, we believe, we don’t know, the truth isn’t all out, but armed thugs probably organized by MI6 and the CIA.

Ahmad Ahmadian, executive director of the nonprofit Holistic Resilience, estimated approximately 50,000 Starlink units are now in the country, bought abroad, smuggled in, and traded on black markets.   On January 14, 2026, Starlink waived subscription fees for Iranian users, providing free access. This followed a phone call between President Donald Trump and Musk discussing Starlink access in Iran. Trump has repeatedly stated that “help is on the way” for Iranian protesters and threatened military action if Iran kills demonstrators. The coordination is unmistakable: economic sanctions create desperation, external actors help organize and amplify protests, and when the government shuts down communications to prevent coordination, US-controlled satellite internet bypasses the blackout—all while the US president threatens military strikes.    The information blackout created an asymmetric propaganda environment that distorted global understanding of the protests. With internet shut down nationwide, only Iranians with access to smuggled Starlink terminals—typically more affluent middle-class individuals—could transmit video footage to the outside world. According to multiple reports, Israeli state-affiliated media outlets, including those with known Mossad connections, exploited this asymmetry by adding fabricated audio tracks to authentic protest videos, inserting pro-Shah monarchist slogans that did not exist in the original footage. In previous protest waves, ordinary Iranians without Starlink had been able to upload their own videos exposing such audio manipulation, creating a counter-narrative. But with the internet blackout preventing the majority of protesters from uploading their own documentation, the manipulated videos circulated unchallenged in Western media. The result was a systematic overestimation of Pahlavi's popularity and monarchist sentiment among protesters—precisely the narrative that served the regime change agenda. The blackout thus functioned not merely to prevent coordination among protesters, but to create an information monopoly that external actors could exploit to manufacture consent for intervention.
