De verkiezingswinst van Assads regime in Syrië verrast NAVO vijanden

Afgelopen week werden er verkiezingen gehouden in Syrië, 14 miljoen van de 18 miljoen stemgerechtigden brachten hun stem uit en als in 2014 was de verkiezingswinst voor het Assad regime groot, meer dan 90%. 

Uiteraard verwachtte men dit niet in het westen en in aanloop van de verkiezingen hebben de westerse reguliere media hun best gedaan om het bewind Assad onderuit te halen, niet door gesprekken te voeren met Syriërs in door het Syrische leger bevrijdde gebieden, maar door gesprekken te voeren met mensen in door terreurgroepen en Turkije gecontroleerd gebied langs de grens met Turkije (het noordoosten van Syrië) en het illegaal door de VS bezette olierijke gebied in het oosten van het land en met 'dissidenten' die Syrië al lang geleden zijn ontvlucht, niet zelden daar ze werden gezocht voor ordinaire misdaden als roof en moord.....

Het door de VS bezette gebied is niet alleen olierijk en derhalve een belangrijke economische bron voor Syrië, het gebied is ook bekend als een succesvol landbouwgebied....... Het is zelfs zo dat in het door de VS illegaal bezette gebied, leden van ISIS worden beschermd door de VS...... De VS verkoopt de olie en steekt de inkomsten in eigen zak, zo ook met de landbouwproducten uit het gebied en beide zaken, dus olie en landbouwoogst gaan niet naar Syrië, dat door vooral de VS en haar oorlogshond de NAVO is platgegooid....... Niet vreemd dan ook dat er door deze grove diefstal zelfs honger wordt geleden in Syrië (zie de links onderaan dit bericht), ondanks dat stemde men massaal op Assad.......

Uiteraard is het voorgaande een schande van formaat, zeker als je bedenkt dat Syrië bezig is met de wederopbouw van het land waarvoor enorme kapitalen nodig zijn...... Echter het voorgaande was het nog niet: de VS en het westen hebben Syrië illegaal sancties opgelegd, overduidelijk met de bedoeling de bevolking op te zetten tegen de regering, ofwel ontevredenheid kweken om een regimewissel door te drukken..... 

Uit de verkiezingen blijkt dat de smerige westerse manipulaties niet werken, niet zo vreemd als je bedenkt dat de Syriërs hebben gezien waar de westerse terreur toe heeft geleid: -verdeeldheid zaaien onder een volk met vele religies die vreedzaam naast elkaar konden leven onder het Assad regime, -de steun van het westen (zie de links onder dit bericht >> ook door Nederland!!) voor de diverse terreurgroepen die voor een heel groot deel werden en worden bevolkt door buitenlandse jihadstrijders, figuren die elke andere religie en van het islamitisch-soennitsch afwijkende vormen van islam met grote terreur om het leven hebben gebracht en op andere manieren hebben geterroriseerd, -het bombarderen van ziekenhuizen en woonwijken door de NAVO luchtmacht, o.l.v. de VS, zo bombardeerde de VS Raqqa dusdanig dat de VN de VS smeekte te stoppen, wat de VS weigerde....... 

De westerse media en politiek hadden totaal geen aandacht voor de door het reguliere Syrische leger bevrijdde steden en dorpen, daar de achtergebleven en teruggekeerde bevolking zich pal achter de troepen van dat leger schaarden, blij dat ze eindelijk werden bevrijd van de vreselijke terreur van de 'gematigde rebellen' (lees: terreurgroepen), noch had en heeft men aandacht voor het feit dat de verschillende religies in de door het Syrische leger bevrijdde gebieden weer hand in hand naast elkaar leven.

Nee het westen bleef hameren op gifgasaanvallen die het toeschreef aan het bewind Assad, terwijl na onderzoek keer op keer bleek dat de gifgasaanvallen werden uitgevoerd door verschillende terreurgroepen, waar het westen zelfs wist dat deze groepen o.a. over chlorine en Sarin (beiden gifgassen) beschikten...... Obama heeft zelfs toegegeven dat een paar gifgasaanvallen niet door het reguliere Syrische leger werden uitgevoerd, maar door zogenaamde rebellengroepen, ondanks dat feit blijft men alle gifgasaanvallen toeschrijven aan Assad....... 

De media besteedden amper aandacht aan de uitslag van de verkiezingen in Syrië en men stelde plompverloren dat internationale waarnemers niet welkom waren, terwijl Syrië volkomen terecht grote argwaan heeft tegen alle westerse bemoeienis, niet zo vreemd als je ziet dat het westen het land voor een groot deel in puin heeft gelegd, blijft liegen dat Assad gifgas tegen de eigen bevolking gebruikte en het land illegaal sancties heeft opgelegd.......

May 30, 2021 "Information Clearing House" - - " Sputnik"- Syria’s presidential elections this week were a resounding success against a backdrop of 10 years of brutal, relentless war imposed on the Arab country by the United States and its NATO partners.

After a decade-long torment from terrorist mercenaries deployed covertly by the Western powers, as well as overt aggression from NATO military forces illegally attacking the country and from cruel economic sanctions warfare, the people of Syria remain defiant and independent. 

President Bashar al-Assad was re-elected for a fourth seven-year term after winning 95 percent of votes cast. The achievement is stunning. It completely refutes – indeed makes a mockery of – the Western narrative depicting Assad as a “tyrant”. 

Despite all the grueling hardships, the Syrian people turned out in droves to vote on Thursday. The turnout was over 78 percent with more than 14 million votes cast out of an eligible 18 million electorate. 

There is no way the Western governments and their servile corporate media can spin this epic demonstration of popular defiance to their nefarious intrigues for regime change in Syria. Hence, the total silence among Western media about the election result. That silence is at once hilarious and damning of Western guilt over the real nature of the war in Syria.

It was always a foreign war of criminal aggression. If there was any justice prevailing in this world, Western politicians by the dozens should be tried for war crimes. 

Before the election this week, the United States, Britain, France, and other NATO powers tried to smear the Syrian democratic will, labeling the ballot as neither fair nor free. 

Well, the sheer numbers of people turning out to vote and the subsequent scenes of jubilation across Syria tell another story, one that confounds the Western propaganda and exposes the criminality of the NATO powers and their toxic media. 

The Syrian nation has refused to bow after years of NATO-backed terrorism in their country. They have chosen their president – again. 

The same kind of shameful silence in Western media has been seen numerous times before when the Syrian army liberated towns and villages from Western-backed terrorists. When people came out to greet their Syrian army liberators, the Western media simply ignored the reality despite having told their consumers beforehand that the Syrian army and their Russian allies were committing slaughter against “rebels” and civilian populations.

Not one Western mainstream media outlet has followed up to report on how Syrians feel about being liberated and of having their peaceful lives restored. That’s because Syrians would praise the leadership of Assad, the courage of the army, and the crucial help of Russia, Iran and Hezbollah. In other words, the West’s lies would be demolished by the truth, and so their media are compelled to ignore and keep silent. 

For everyone around the world who desires justice and peace and the defeat of imperialism, the victory from Syria’s election is a glorious day to celebrate. Congratulations are due to President Assad. But more so to the people of Syria who showed that it is possible to stand up to the real tyranny, that of the United States and its lawless NATO rogue allies who wanted to destroy Syria in order to install their own puppet regime. Despite unspeakable barbarities inflicted on the peace-loving people of Syria, they have remained steadfast in their unity and determination for independence, regardless of their different religions.  The NATO ploy of trying to incite a sectarian war among Syrians failed because they knew all along who their real enemy was. 

For those willing to see reality, Syria exposes the forces of evil in this world. The Western lying media tell us that Russia, China, Iran, Venezuela, and so on, are “bad” and are threatening global peace. The Americans and their NATO partners lecture and pontificate about “rules and order”. When it is they who are caught in the headlights of truth: they tried to destroy a country just like they have countless others. But that country – Syria – just showed its spectacular strength to overcome the evil designs of the United States and its minions in NATO. 

Lamentably, Syria faces more trials and challenges from the continuing economic warfare being waged by US and European sanctions. Reconstruction from a decade of NATO aggression will not be easy. But with the help of Russia, China, Iran, and others, the Syrian people will win finally. They have just shown their invincible resilience beyond any doubt.

Douma, OPCW lek wordt door massamedia toegeschreven aan Rusland, waarbij men blijft volhouden dat de gifgasaanval plaatsvond

Ongelofelijk maar waar: na dat het schandaal bekend werd dat de OPCW de rapportage over de 'gifgasaanval van het Syrische bewind op Douma' dusdanig heeft aangepast dat inderdaad het Syrische leger als schuldig werd aangewezen voor de gifgasaanval op Douma*, wordt er door de reguliere westerse media gesteld dat Rusland en de Syrische regering achter de lekken zit, waarmee ze proberen te ontkennen dat er een gifgasaanval plaatsvond........ Ofwel de westerse massamedia houden gewoon vol dat 'nog steeds vaststaat dat Syrië verantwoordelijk is voor de gifgasaanval op Douma', terwijl al lang bekend is dat dit een smerige leugen is, een feit dat middels het lek binnen de OPCW op straat kwam te liggen, inclusief de documenten en mails die e.e.a. bewijzen....... Let wel: het gaat hier om dezelfde massamedia die de vuilbek vol hebben over 'fake news' (nepnieuws), andere desinformatie en manipulaties op de sociale media.......

(zelfs Obama heeft dat een keer toegegeven) Men zat en zit er in de westerse politiek en media zelfs niet mee dat terreurgroepen als Al Qaida (in Syrië: al-Nusra) en anderen de beschikking hadden (en sommige nog hebben) over chlorine en zelfs sarin........

So, you might want to sit down for this, but believe it or not the mainstream media is behaving in a way that seems somewhat untruthful.

I know! I know. I'm just as astonished as you are.

So you know that Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) scandal we've been talking a lot about lately? The one where evidence keeps piling up that the US, UK and France launched airstrikes against the Syrian government last year in retaliation for a poison gas attack which never took place, and then manipulated an ostensibly independent and international chemical weapons watchdog organization into covering it up?

Well, it turns out that bigtime news media outlets haven't been all that interested for some strange and mysterious reason. But just today they broke the silence with a new report that mentioned the scandal, and they've totally spun it in a way that makes the US and its allies look good! Can you believe that?

And you'll never guess what excuse they're using to spin it. Never in a million, billion years.

Put a pillow down on the floor, because your jaw's about to drop like James Le Mesurier: believe it or not, they're blaming it on Russian disinformation.

AFP, which just as an aside is one of only three gigantic news agencies that are responsible for most of the stories you see in the mass media, has put out an article that has been picked up by multiple mainstream media outlets titled "Showdown looms over Syria chemical weapons probe".

The article deliberately frames the issue as one which has been "highlighted" by "Moscow", and publishes a claim sourced to unnamed western officials that "the Russians and Syrians are trying to muddy the waters".

"Moscow has consistently raised doubts over chemical attacks in Syria or insisted they were staged, and has recently highlighted a leaked report raising questions about a deadly chlorine attack in the Syrian town of Douma in April 2018," AFP reports. "Western diplomats however say the Russians and Syrians are trying to muddy the waters about alleged attacks by President Bashar al-Assad's forces."

Never mind that the leaks themselves are intrinsically important and completely authentic, regardless of who's "highlighting" them. Never mind that the leaks have been "highlighted" by many non-Russian outlets, ranging from small alternative platforms like my own here in Melbourne all the way up to as mainstream as the UK's Daily Mail. All it takes is one Russian to talk about any issue of any kind and it can magically be spun as a talking point of Moscow, no matter how many westerners who have nothing to do with Russia are also talking about it.

The report's author, Danny Kemp, has been spending time narrative managing about the OPCW scandal on Twitter as well. Kemp argues that WikiLeaks, who published a leaked internal email from the organisation on Sunday which challenges the establishment Douma narrative, doesn't have trustworthy publications because WikiLeaks is associated with (you guessed it) Russia.

Kemp's baseless Russia smear is invalidated by the fact that multiple other outlets have also published the email, including the Daily Mail, and by the fact that Reuters has independently verified the email's authenticity with a source in the OPCW.

The OPCW's Director General Fernando Arias said during a convention at The Hague today that he fully supports the conclusions that were published in the OPCW's final report on the Douma incident this past March, which asserted, contrary to everything the OPCW whistleblowers claim, that there was enough evidence to believe that a chemical weapon was used.

"On the first of March, 2019, the Fact Finding Mission issued its final report on the incident of alleged use of toxic chemical weapons in Douma on the seventh of April, 2018," Arias said. "The evaluation and analysis of all the information gathered by the Fact Finding Mission provide reasonable grounds that the use of a toxic chemical as a weapon had taken place."

"It is in the nature of any thorough inquiry for individuals in a team to express subjective views," Arias added. "The overall conclusions of the inquiry, however, must be based on the preponderance of objective facts."

“While some of these diverging views continue to circulate in certain public discussion forums, I would like to reiterate that I stand by the independent, professional conclusions reached by the Fact Finding Mission,” Arias said.

Again, everything Arias said is contradicted by what the whistleblowers from inside the aforementioned Fact Finding Mission have been saying:

• The leaked email says chlorinated organic chemicals on the scene were as low as one or two parts per billion, meaning they were trace background levels you'd find in any industrialized area, and that the symptoms of the victims were inconsistent with chlorine gas poisoning.
• The leaked Engineering Assessment signed by ballistics expert Ian Henderson states that the alleged chlorine cylinders were much more likely to have been manually placed on the ground than dropped from the air, meaning the incident would have been staged by the Jaysh al-Islam fighters occupying Douma and not the Syrian air force.
• The information given to journalist Jonathan Steele by the whistleblower "Alex" lists even more inconsistencies with the OPCW report, claims that dissent from the final drafts of the OPCW's Douma reports was a majority opinion within the team, and says investigators felt pressured both by OPCW management and an uncomfortable intercession by US government officials to come to a specific conclusion.

Given all this, there is no reason for anyone to feel at all confident that "the use of a toxic chemical as a weapon had taken place" in Douma. 

In the hours since Arias finally gave them a denial of the OPCW scandal that they can use in their reporting, the mass media have suddenly broken their deafening silence on this important story.

Reports have come out on Arias' defense of the official Douma reports from Reuters, AP and CBS explaining to readers that the OPCW's head honcho says all the naughty people sharing unauthorized narratives about Douma are wrong. In a story about Syria and The Hague, the CBS article mentions the words "Russia" or "Russian" no fewer than twelve times, spinning the entire affair as nothing more than a Moscow-orchestrated conspiracy theory.

Here's an excerpt from the CBS article, just to give you a taste of the conspiratorial-lunatic spin job they're doing on something that amounts simply to authentic leaked information:

Russia and Syria have alleged that the incident was staged since soon after it took place. Russia even attempted to bolster its case by bringing individuals who it identified as Syrians seen in "staged" videos after the attack to testify to the OPCW at The Hague. 

European OPCW members rejected the Russian-Syrian claims outright, and refused to attend the session at OPCW headquarters. 

"This obscene masquerade does not come as a surprise from the Syrian government, which has massacred and gassed its own people for the last seven years," France's ambassador to the Netherlands, Philippe Lalliot, said in response.

I guess it's nice to have some company on this important story after months and months of near-total silence, but man the spin's making me dizzy.

Of course it's not the mass media's job to objectively report facts, it's the mass media's job to manufacture consent for the status quo upon which the media-owning plutocratic class is built. This status quo naturally includes the globe-spanning US-centralized empire and the endless war which glues the whole thing together. The narrative that this oligarchic power alliance has once again deceived the world about yet another military intervention in yet another Middle Eastern nation would do serious damage to people's trust in the imperial propaganda machine, so the story will be ignored for as long as possible and then attacked with extreme aggression when that fails.

We're on attacking already. This is good.
