De Cubacrisis en de VS blokkade van dat land: we zijn anno 2022 op een zelfde punt aangeland

60 jaar geleden hield VS president Kennedy op het hoogtepunt van de Cubacrisis  een toespraak voor het volk waarin hij de Sovjet-Unie demoniseerde voor het plaatsen van kernraketten op Cuba, hij stelde toen dat de VS Cuba in quarantaine zou plaatsen, zodat in een ring van 80 kilometer rond Cuba geen schepen uit de Sovjet-Unie zouden worden toegelaten, schepen die met raketten richting Cuba voeren. 

Kennedy sprak van een 'quarantaine' daar een blokkade door de Sovjet-Unie als oorlogsdaad zou worden gezien...... Castro hekelde deze 'quarantaine' en stelde dat de blokkade van Cuba (want dat was het) illegaal was en daarmee had hij volkomen gelijk. De Sovjet-Unie onder president Chroesjtsjov trok zich echter niets aan van wat de Cubaanse president Castro wenste en deze wilde absoluut niet dat de Sovjet-Unie haar SAM-raketten zou terugtrekken, daar hij deze zag als verdediging tegen VS agressie. 

Dat Castro sprak over VS agressie was niet zonder reden, daar de VS bijvoorbeeld in april 1961 al een plan tot uitvoering had gebracht >> een invasie via de Bay of Pigs, een invasie op Cubaans grondgebied die geheel mislukte. Deze invasie werd uitgevoerd onder regie van de CIA, waarbij 1.400 gevluchte Cubanen en enkele VS officieren het land zouden 'bevrijden' van het communisme (terwijl het Castro bewind een socialistisch beleid voerde).

Uiteindelijk kwamen Kennedy en Chroesjtsjov tot een vergelijk en verwijderde de Sovjet-Unie haar al op Cuba aanwezige raketten en liet de schepen terugkeren die onderweg waren naar Cuba. Kennedy beloofde dat het de Cubaanse soevereiniteit zou respecteren, het land niet meer zou proberen binnen te vallen en zich niet meer met de binnenlandse politiek van Cuba zou bemoeien.

Dit was één van de plekken op Cuba waar de Sovjet-Unie haar kernraketten zou plaatsen.

Dat was het nog niet daar de VS beloofde de reden voor de actie van de Sovjet-Unie weg te nemen en dat waren de VS Jupiter-kernraketten die de VS al had gestationeerd in Italië, Turkije, Iran en Afghanistan, vanwaar de VS het grootste deel van de Sovjet-Unie plat had kunnen gooien...... Echter het terugtrekken van die raketten werd geheim gehouden daar Kennedy daarmee zwaar gezichtsverlies zou lijden, daar dit zou kunnen worden aangemerkt als het verlies van de VS in deze crisis...... 

Ongelofelijk maar waar >> nog steeds zijn er westerse media die de geheime clausule in de overeenkomst tussen Chroesjtsjov en Kennedy verzwijgen, waarmee ze de Sovjet-Unie met in feite geschiedvervalsing (ook al gaat het om het weglaten van feiten) als de grote boosdoener in de Cubacrisis kunnen aanwijzen.....

Rusland is nu de grote boosdoener en dat is al 15 jaar zo sinds Rusland de etnische Russen die al vele generaties in Georgië woonden te hulp schoot tegen de moorddadige agressie van het Georgische leger..... Ook over deze zaak wordt nog steeds keihard gelogen in de reguliere westerse media en politiek, waar men Rusland beschuldigt van het beginnen van een agressieoorlog tegen Georgië....... 

Zoals men Rusland nu beschuldigt van het zonder enige reden aanvallen van Oekraïne, die door dezelfde media en politiek wordt volgehouden, terwijl Rusland in feite geen andere keus had dan in te grijpen*, niet in de laatste plaats daar het Oekraïense nazi-leger de afgescheiden staatjes Luhansk en Donetsk al vanaf 2014 bombardeerden en die begin dit jaar deze bombardementen nog verhevigde...... De VN stelt dat door die bombardementen 14.000 mensen om het leven zijn gekomen (zeg maar gerust vermoord door het Oekraïense nazi-leger..... Sinds 2014 hebben verder o.a. meer dan een miljoen bewoners van deze staatjes hun toevlucht gezocht in Rusland......

Ook deze feiten worden verzwegen door de reguliere westerse media en politiek, laat staan dat men Oekraïne sancties heeft opgelegd voor deze zware oorlogsmisdaden......

Hoorde vanmorgen in het Radio1 nieuws van 8.00 u. dat de helft van de Nederlanders vrezen dat Rusland kernwapens zal inzetten..... Deze angst is ingegeven door de voortdurende anti-Russische propaganda, die zo intensief wordt losgelaten op de westerse volkeren dat je moet spreken van hersenspoeling, terwijl er geen sprake van is dat Rusland met kernwapens heeft gedreigd......**

Gisteren zag ik op de sociale media dat de VS bezig is met de voorbereiding van een false flag operatie in Oekraïne: de VS zou een kernwapen tot ontploffing willen brengen in Oekraïne en deze daad vervolgens in de schoenen te schuiven van Rusland...... Dit bericht werd en wordt door de reguliere media geheel verzwegen en je zal begrijpen dat wanneer dit plan werkelijk zou worden uitgevoerd, de VS en haar slaafse NAVO-partners dit zullen aangrijpen om Rusland aan te vallen, dat kan de VS ook doen met kernraketten die bij wijze van spreken op de deurmat van Rusland staan, te weten: in Polen, Tsjechië en Roemenië..... Deze kernraketten maken deel uit van een raketschild dat zogenaamd raketten uit Iran en Noord-Korea moeten tegenhouden......

De afzonderlijke raketten zouden eerst niet met kernkoppen zijn uitgerust, maar ter plekke liggen kernkoppen waarmee deze raketten in een mum van tijd kunnen worden voorzien...... Reken maar dat de VS deze raketten al eerder dit jaar heeft voorzien van meerdere kernkoppen..... 

Met dat zogenaamde raketschild is de VS terug waar het voor 1962 was met de Jupiter-raketten in Italië, Turkije Iran en Afghanistan..... Bedenk maar eens wat de VS zou hebben gedaan als Rusland een 'raketschild' zou hebben geplaatst voor de VS grenzen in Mexico en Canada..... Op zeker dat we dan de Derde Wereldoorlog al achter de rug zouden hebben gehad..... Ik ben geen fan van Putin, echter ik ben blij dat hij in Rusland de dienst uitmaakt en niet een figuur als oorlogsmisdadiger Biden gestuurd door zijn uiterst agressieve poppenspelers.......

Kortom de situatie wat betreft een dreigende kernoorlog is er niet beter op geworden, integendeel, zeker als je bedenkt dat er hoge militairen in het Pentagon keer op keer laten weten dat de VS een kernoorlog kan winnen, echter niet op de manier zoals de helft van Nederland zou vrezen...... Verder heeft de VS al onder 'vredesduif' en oorlogsmisdadiger Obama, met Joe Biden als vicepresident, aangegeven zich het recht voor te behouden om een land zonder enige waarschuwing met kernwapens aan te vallen, waar later aan werd toegevoegd dat dit bijvoorbeeld zou kunnen gebeuren als vanuit dat land de infrastructuur van de VS zou zijn platgelegd middels een cyberaanval....

Tot slot moet ik nog opmerken dat het ronduit schandalig is dat de VS Cuba nog steeds sanctioneert.....

* De volgende opsomming bevat de redenen voor de Russische inval in Oekraïne, die ik overnam uit het bericht: 'Ook GB wordt geregeerd door misdadigers en grote bedrijven die lak hebben aan vrede en de volksgezondheid'

• Ten eerste: door de geschonden (volop bewezen) overeenkomst tussen de voormalige Sovjet president Gorbatsjov en o.a. destijds Duitse premier Kohl, zijn minister van buitenlandse zaken Genscher en vertegenwoordigers van de regering Bush*, de overeenkomst dat de NAVO zich niet zou uitbreiden richting Moskou......  (geschonden door de VS en de oorlogshitsers van de andere NAVO-lidstaten)
• Ten tweede: door de opstand en staatsgreep die de VS voor en tijdens 2014 bewezen in Oekraïne heeft georganiseerd, geregisseerd en gefinancierd (met 5 miljard dollar). Men hoopte dat Rusland daarop De Krim zou annexeren, maar daar stak de bevolking van dat schiereiland een dikke stok voor door een referendum te organiseren voor aansluiting bij Rusland, men was tegen de staatsgreep tegen de door hen democratisch gekozen president Janoekovytsj en wenste niet onder de corrupte neonazi-juntaleider Porosjenko te leven (die door de VS werd geparachuteerd als 'president' van Oekraïne)..... Het door internationale waarnemers als eerlijk en goed beoordeelde referendum werd door 80% van de bevolking gesteund, een bevolking bestaande uit de oorspronkelijke bevolking van De Krim, etnische Russen en Oekraïners!!! (hetzelfde geldt voor de zich van Oekraïne afgescheiden staatjes Luhansk en Donetsk, die daarna 8 jaar lang werden gebombardeerd door nazi-bataljons van het Oekraïense leger....)
  
• Ten derde: wat volgt uit het vorige punt: de 8 jaar lang durende bombardementen op de burgers van de volks republieken Luhansk en Donetsk, waarbij meer dan 13.000 mensen omkwamen ofwel werden vermoord, waaronder veel etnische Russen..... Voor de Russische inval in Oekraïne heeft de regering Zelensky haar nazi-troepen opdracht gegeven om de aanvallen op de staatjes Luhansk en Donetsk te verhevigen, ofwel een grote troepenopbouw met zware wapens >> daar lulde men niet over in het westen, nee dat Rusland daarop meer troepen naar haar grens met Oekraïne stuurde leidde tot felle (uiterst hypocriete) reacties in het westen......
• Ten vierde: door de al jarenlang bijna het jaarrond durende militaire oefeningen van de VS en de rest van de NAVO langs de Russische westgrens (waar zelfs op het binnenvallen van Russisch grondgebied werd en wordt geoefend)...... 
• Ten vijfde: de militaire oefeningen die de NAVO laatste jaren heeft gehouden in Oekraïne uiteraard met het Oekraïense nazi-leger, terwijl men de wereld wijs probeert te maken dat Oekraïne niet zou en zal toetreden tot de NAVO...... ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! 
• Ten zesde: het VS 'raketschild' in Polen, Roemenië en Tsjechië, een schild zogenaamd tegen raketten uit Iran en Noord-Korea, terwijl de afzonderlijke raketten van dat schild in een zeer korte tijd kunnen worden voorzien van meerdere kernkoppen, waarmee men Russische miljoenensteden kan vernietigen....

VS propaganda door de CIA geënt op de leest van nazi-Duitsland en daarmee van oorlogsmisdadiger Goebbels

Ja ongelofelijk als je leest dat een oorlogsmisdadiger als SS generaal Karl Wolff, die verantwoordelijk was voor de deportatie van minstens 300.000 Joden naar Treblinka, zo berechting en straf kon ontlopen...... Alles 'voor het hogere doel de wereldeconomie te redden', waar massamoord een instrument werd voor financieel gewin en het bestendigen van de staatsmacht, dit van de Armeense genocide, de Holocaust tot de hedendaagse genocides (zoals die in Jemen, Ap), aldus Simpson..... Samenzweringstheorie paniek wordt juist gevoed door 'tegenstanders' daarvan

Nicholas Levis heeft op CounterPunch een artikel geschreven waarin hij betoogt dat juist de figuren die complotten uitwerken, mensen aanwijzen als de makers van samenzweringstheorieën (of complottheorieën, wat je wilt), als deze het complot blootleggen die zij de rest van de bevolking willen opdringen. Het is als met de hysterie over fake news in de reguliere media (en politiek), waar journalisten zelfs durven te eisen dat er censuurmaatregelen moeten worden genomen tegen bepaalde sites op de sociale media, daar men fake news zou verspreiden....... Terwijl diezelfde media keer op keer fake news (nepnieuws) brengen, sterker nog: fake news brengen op basis waarvan illegale oorlogen zijn aangegaan door de VS, weliswaar aantoonbaar ingegeven door leugens van de geheime diensten van de VS, maar met grote graagte overgenomen door die reguliere (massa-) media...... 

Levis wijst dan ook niet voor niets naar de illegale oorlog van de VS tegen Irak, waar het volk (ook in de EU) werd voorbereid op deze oorlog met de hersenspoeling van het volk door politici en media met leugens als zou Saddam Hoessein, destijds president van Irak, geheime voorraden massavernietigingswapens in bezit hebben gehad..... Een enorme leugen waartegen VN-wapeninspecteur Blix als een Don Quichot tegen vocht, keer op keer liet hij de wereld weten dat Irak zelfs geen massavernietigingswapens kon hebben, al deze wapens waren vernietigd en men had bij wijze van spreken elke vierkante meter van het land onderzocht......

Ook Henk Hofland, die door de Nederlandse pers als belangrijkste journalist van de 20ste eeuw wordt vereerd, geloofde deze leugen en ventileerde die op de NRC, de 'slijpsteen van de geest' (eerder de overdosis morfine voor de geest)..... Let wel, ik zeg 'geloofde', echter Hofland moet dondersgoed geweten hebben dat dit een pertinente leugen was en toch stelde hij zich achter de illegale oorlog tegen Irak, wat hij tot zijn dood is blijven doen, ondanks dat deze leugen werd doorgeprikt..... (Hofland, de Nederlandse journalist van de 20ste eeuw... ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!)

Alle terechte ontkenningen van Blix konden niet op tegen de leugens die de geheime diensten en de Bush administratie de wereld inbrachten, dit met grote hulp van de reguliere media die het volk opzweepten..... Gezien het voorgaande kan je deze zaak niet anders zien dan de grootste samenzweringstheorie van deze eeuw, waar belachelijk genoeg de tegenstanders van die illegale oorlog destijds complottheoriedenkers werden genoemd!!!!! Kortom de wereld op de kop.......



Voorts merkt Levis nog op dat Irak werd beschuldigd van het deelnemen aan de 9/11 aanslagen en zonder enig bewijs herhaalden Bush en vooral Dick Cheney deze leugen..... Na verloop van tijd was het grootste deel van de bevolking in de VS ervan overtuigd dat deze leugen de waarheid was (en ook in de rest van het westen begon men deze leugen te geloven....) Belachelijk, daar de VS Al Qaida als organisatie had aangewezen die verantwoordelijk was voor de 9/11 aanslagen en als er iemand was die de schurft had aan Al Qaida was het Saddam Hoessein wel!!

Lees het uitstekende artikel van Levis en laat je nooit meer foppen met leugens als zouden mensen die de overheid en reguliere media kritisch volgen complottheoriedenkers zijn, niet voor niets kan je een groot deel van de beste journalistiek op de sociale media vinden..... De reguliere (massa-) media zijn organisaties die de belangen van de eigenaren van die media moeten behartigen, plutocraten die belang hebben bij oorlog, ziekten en het in stand houden van de huidige status quo (en daarmee de huidige neoliberale politiek) >> goed voor de aandelenportefeuilles en daarmee voor de winsten en nog grotere bankrekeningen!!!

Conspiracy Panic

The most consequential false conspiracy theory of the last twenty years in the United States centered on fabricated accusations raised against the Iraqi state in 2002-3. These claimed that Iraq maintained secret stores of “weapons of mass destruction” and intended to use them against the West, perhaps imminently. Most versions also insinuated the Saddam regime was involved in some vague manner in perpetrating the 9/11 attacks together with its sworn enemies, the jihadi movements then doing business as al-Qaeda. That is what the vice-president running the regime, Cheney, repeatedly said. His president, Bush, just repeated the magic words 9/11-Saddam-9/11-Saddam-9/11 for months, until it was taken to be true by enough people to allow a smooth start to the carnage. The claims were actively fabricated by officials and agents at several agencies of the U.S., UK and other national security states, by various client groups and allied journalists, and by freelance assholes looking to get a piece of the action. The fabricators knew they were lying, and they knew that they lied so as to sell a planned, unprovoked war of aggression to the American, UK, and other western publics. The resulting war destroyed a nation, led to more than a million deaths, and accelerated the establishment of an archipelago of torture centers under U.S. control.

In short, the “Saddam-WMD-9/11” conspiracy theory was a top-down psychological operation conducted by state-based agents against the public, and freely trumpeted by nearly all organs of the U.S. corporate media. It has been completely discredited, but rarely will you here it called a conspiracy theory. None of the perpetrators of the campaign have been prosecuted, and most have continued their career trajectories unhindered by their participation in this well-known crime. Today many of them have been embraced by the Democratic establishment as heroic fighters against Trump — the same Democratic establishment that always seeks distance from actual fighters against Trump.

The most consequential American conspiracy theories ever were the Red Scares of 1919-21 and the late 1940s and early 1950s. Both met with a degree of popular enthusiasm and broad fear-based assent, but both were initiated and run by state and corporate-based elements as top-down psychological operations against the public, specifically targeting the left, labor organizers, and journalists, celebrities or teachers who showed insufficient anti-Communist fervor. Both campaigns succeeded in transforming American society and politics in a right-wing direction, and helped in partly dismantling the progressive, leftist and honestly liberal movements of their times.

A recent conspiracy panic campaign, #Russiagate, presented a mythic (and facially laughable) explanation for how the Democrats managed to lose the unloseable 2016 election. It appears to have been intended to weaken or to knock Trump out of office. If so, it backfired completely, presenting a fictional distraction from the far-worse realities of the regime’s violent policies and incipient fascism. Every time that the ludicrous and byzantine accusations fell apart (predictably, in every case), Trump’s position was strengthened, and that of real opposition to Trump’s barbarities was weakened.

Given their failure to actually fight Trump on policy, and given the Democrats’ embrace of Bushian politics and Bush-era war criminals, austerity, and imperialism, and given their propping-up of a right-wing candidate who has his own degree of involvement in Trump-style nepotism and is visibly suffering from cognitive impairment, Trump would be cruising to reelection. Cruising, that is, except for the unpredictable factors of Covid, the Depression, and the open outbreaks of organized fascist street violence that he praises. And because a real opposition to this regime’s particular horrors exists, and has not surrendered. (If they lose, the Democrats will blame the real opposition, and are already doing so preemptively.) 
Thus, for the moment, Trump is well behind in the polls, despite the four-year favor to him delivered by the #Russiagate operation with its demand for 24/7 coverage and predictable serial failures.

However, the #Russiagate conspiracy panic operation also succeeded, insofar as it has functioned to condition most Democratic-type liberals (and some of the left) to uncritically accept a xenophobic explanation for the rise of an all-American fascism, and insofar as it has gained much support among them for a bellicose, new-Cold War stance and widepread favor for censorship measures (run by private mega-corporations) to combat “propaganda” and “conspiracy theory.”

It cannot be known at this time, but the QAnon narrative appears likely to have also originated with an intel operation, or the action of a Trump-friendly outfit, with the design of casting noise over a story that sounds just like it, but is actually true. Trump, Bill Clinton and various celebrities and intellectual hooligans were all tied to the long-time human trafficking and rape-ring run by likely intelligence asset and “billionaire” Jeffrey Epstein. He was convicted, and his co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell stands accused. The operation’s apparent purpose was to gain material for political blackmail. Trump’s former labor secretary, Acosta, was formerly the Florida prosecutor who made a deal to allow the convicted Epstein to walk free in 2008, and to seal the records of his clients. It’s fine to condemn QAnon, but when you spend your hours talking about how ridiculous and hateful and wrong the story is, you are not talking about Epstein and Trump and Clinton (and the various other Epstein “friends”). You are not talking about or acting on a million other things that matter. From the perspective of the QAnon propagators, you are helping to promote and reinforce the ruse.

America, like many places, is home to fantastically, facially false grand conspiracy narratives positing that the political economy (so evidently managed by a ruling class of owners and corporations and policy-makers reigning over large instituions, who act mostly in the open) is secretly run by a single, smaller, invisible cabal of satanically-inclined mystery men who just want to do evil because they hate America, or maybe because they want to destroy Trump’s beautiful white race. There are many varieties of grand-global conspiracy theories, but they often pander to odious, hateful, and exterminationist politics. The latter are often modeled on the old European anti-Semitic blood libel, or, in fact, repeat the old European anti-Semitic blood libel.

Grand-global conspiracy narratives can appeal to a common socio-psychological make-up that hankers for denial and magic and simplicity, for stories that attribute social ills and human troubles to a corruption that can be theoretically excised, restoring a normality that never really existed as it is now imagined. In this they are akin to other quick-fix narratives, many of them based in religious dogmas (e.g. bad things happen because people reject Jesus and commit acts the Bible supposedly prohibits; or, to take a now-abandoned version, alcohol consumption is the true primary cause of social ills and prohibition can fix it). For most, the reality that their society is systematically rotten to the core, burning the planet, and heading for a predictable fall, and that any change to this reality must be revolutionary or will be nothing, is much harder to process, above all emotionally. It also subjects one to the accusation of radicalism, extremism, or “conspiracy theory.”

I dispute that very many people change their politics or prejudices or world-view as a result of exposure to one of the global-type conspiracy theories. On the contrary, these are devised to aggrandize and manipulate already-existing political tendencies. People tend to believe what they were long-ago conditioned to believe, and they tend to see what they believe. And remember, the most effective and consequential conspiracy theories in the modern milieu are rarely products of autopoeitic convergences of mass psychology. They almost always have original authors who know that they are inventing this shit, like QAnon. 
They are the products of modern public relations and popular mood management.

Granting that grand-global conspiracy narratives exist, the use of the phrase “conspiracy theory” in American discourse has always been rotten as fuck. Whether true or not, whether or not believable or grounded in evidence, any claims that attribute malfeasance to the American ruling class and policy-making power elite, or to the actual owners and runners of a system in which high-level crime was long ago legalized, is derided as “conspiracy theory” by the very same ruling class, power elite, corporate media, punditry, and liberal-authoritarian establishment. However, claims that mirror the same narratives, but allege them against an officially designated enemy, are never called conspiracy theory. In fact, once the latter tales are circulated within the corporate news media, to question them comes itself to be classified as conspiracy theory. You are a conspiracy theorist if you reject the outlandish #Russiagate conspiracy theories. And, once called a conspiracy theorist, you are supposed to be automatically and forever discredited from participating in public discourse. Increasingly, you are seen as the bearer of a dangerous and contagious disease, associated loosely with all other persons categorized as “conspiracy theorists,” and treated as fair game for censorship.

Conspiracy panic is a propaganda weapon that props up an overall portrayal of the mass of the people (and especially critics of the ideological hegemony, of whatever stripe, good or bad) as ipso-facto stupid, preemptively discredited, crazy, unworthy of participation in discourse, and dangerous. Conspiracy panic nowadays is a go-to for liberals to deny and distract and divert to incremental bullshit, and not have to think about systemic irrationality, falsehood, evils and failures, and how most of the unfolding disasters — including Trump himself — are not aberrations or surprises but predictable and systemic. It’s easier and more comforting to affect being appalled at the stupidity of QAnon (or the supposed millions who were moved to vote for Trump only because they saw a “Russian” post online), and to virtue-signal that you are different from the dumb right-wing patsies who eat that shit up, than to spend too much time being aware that the billionaire and corporate and ensconced policy-making ruling class as a whole — their names are known and plastered in the headlines — is by definition a predator class, professionally incapable of mercy, with overwhelming power over the rest of us, acting in ways that guarantee capitalism and its “ways of life” will continue burning the planet, literally, until the ecosystem’s capacity to sustain the present human civilization and population collapses. Which, speaking in historical lengths, is imminent, and possibly no longer reversible. Fight this anyway.

De moord op Bob Marley (6 februari 1945 - 11 mei 1981)

39 jaar geleden op 11 mei 1981 overleed Bob Marley aan de gevolgen van longkanker, zo werd de wereld voorgehouden, terwijl hij in feite overleed aan een hersentumor.....

Marley was buiten zijn wil een spil in de strijd van de VS (CIA) tegen de socialistische politiek van de minister-president van Jamaica, Michael Manley van de People's National Party (PNP), waar de tegenstander van Manley, Edward Seaga, van de Jamaicaanse Labour Party (JLP), met hulp van de CIA, een eind wilde maken aan het bewind van Manley..... De hoeveelheid personeel van de CIA op het kleine Jamaica was destijds een heel stuk groter dan in welk Afrikaans land dan ook (waar de CIA in veel landen volop aanwezig was met het stoken tegen regeringen die een linkse politiek voerden, dan wel landen die de VS niet welgevallig waren.....), dit middels moord, het organiseren van opstanden, het instellen van illegale sancties zodat een land zwaar in de financiële problemen komt (economische oorlogsvoering) en desnoods middels een militaire coup...... 

Het laatste is niet zo vreemd als je ziet dat Manley een aantal bedrijven nationaliseerde, waaronder VS bedrijven die daardoor een grote klap kregen te verduren, zo werd ook de bauxiet winning genationaliseerd......(als je de VS tegen je wilt hebben moet je bedrijven nationaliseren en al helemaal als dit dan ook nog eens VS bedrijven zijn, bedrijven die diverse arme landen hebben leeggeroofd en de corruptie in die landen hebben gestimuleerd en dat nog doen, neem Oekraïne, Afghanistan en Irak....)

Marley werd zoals gezegd spil in de strijd tussen de JLP (inclusief de CIA) en de PNP, terwijl hij meermaals aangaf geen kant te willen kiezen tussen de politieke partijen op Jamaica....

De CIA gebruikte de smokkelroute van op Jamaica geproduceerde wiet voor het vervoer van wapens naar Jamaica, wapens die de achterban van Seaga (JLP) kreeg toegespeeld...... De achterban van Manley liet het daarbij niet zitten, bewapende zich en het gevolg was geweld op de straten van Jamaica en zoals te verwachten met als gevolg een groot aantal doden.......

De CIA probeerde op alle mogelijke manieren het bewind van Manley onderuit te halen, zo werd er zelfs een tehuis voor oude en blinde vrouwen in brand gestoken, nadat men de uitgangen had geblokkeerd, zodat zelfs niet blinde oude mensen en het personeel het pand niet konden verlaten, bij de brand kwamen 150 mensen om het leven...... De schuld voor e.e.a werd in de schoenen van Manley geschoven, ofwel hier was weer eens sprake van een false flag operatie, een operatie die de CIA en het Pentagon al zo vaak elders hadden uitgevoerd...... De CIA volgde deels 'het recept' dat men in Chili volgde, inclusief zoals gezegd een (illegale) economische oorlogsvoering tegen Jamaica......

Nobelprijs voor de Vrede winnaar Kissinger (een schoft die zonder meer als massamoordenaar moet worden aangemerkt) speelde ook nog een rol in het geheel.... Hij bezocht Manley om te vragen diens steun voor Cubaanse militaire hulp aan Angola in te trekken, militaire hulp o.a. bij de strijd tegen Zuid-Afrikaanse troepen, destijds nog het leger van het land dat toen nog een volledige apartheidsstaat was (troepen die illegaal in Angola opereerden). Opperploert Kissinger heeft uiteraard ook de nationalisatie van grote bedrijven ter sprake gebracht..... Een paar dagen na het bezoek van Kissinger bevestigde Manley nog eens zijn steun voor de Cubaanse interventie in Angola (een interventie op verzoek van de Angolese regering)

Bob Marley zou deelnemen aan een aantal concerten tegen het (politieke) geweld dat Jamaica toen in haar greep hield, echter een paar dagen daarvoor werd het huis van Marley aangevallen en werd zijn vrouw in haar hoofd getroffen door een kogel, Marley en 3 anderen raakten gewond......

Toen Marley een aantal jaren later revalideerde, werd hij bezocht door 'Rolling Stone journalist Neil Bush' die dagen bij hem was. In de begeleidende video wordt gesteld dat hersentumoren kunstmatig kunnen worden opgewekt, zelfs de nazi's zouden daar al mee hebben geëxperimenteerd, ook Marley zou daar het slachtoffer van zijn geweest...... Een paar andere figuren die niet lekker lagen bij de CIA, zoals Jack Ruby, de moordenaar van Lee Harvey Oswald (die 'John F. Kennedy zou hebben vermoord'), zouden aan zo'n kunstmatig opgewekte tumor zijn overleden..... (Ruby, een maffialid, was een gevaar voor de CIA vanwege zijn kennis over delen van het complot dat leidde tot de moord op JFK....) Overigens was Neil Bush niet bekend bij Rolling Stone, later werd duidelijk dat Bush voor de CIA werkte, dat een bijzondere hekel aan Marley had vanwege zijn verzet tegen o.a. VS geweld (grootschalige terreur) in diverse buitenlanden.........

Vrede is het belangrijkste onderwerp op aarde, een toespraak van John F. Kennedy

Afgelopen donderdag was het 56 jaar geleden dat VS president John F. Kennedy werd vermoord in Dallas, Texas. Information Clearing House (ICH) bracht gisteren een toespraak die John F. Kennedy (JFK) op 10 juni 1963 hield op de American University in Washington (D.C.) en waarin hij stelde dat vrede het belangrijkste onderwerp is op aarde vrede. Niets tegen in te brengen zou je zeggen, totdat je de hele toespraak op je laat inwerken en dan kan je maar tot één conclusie komen: ook JFK was een enorme hypocriet (ook al was hij m.i. een beter president dan alle na hem aangetreden presidenten.

Hypocrisie als stellen dat vrede het belangrijkste onderwerp is op aarde, terwijl de VS de ene oorlog na de andere begon, hoe vaak Kennedy ook stelde dat elk land op zijn/haar manier het volk kan dienen, de praktijk zag er ook destijds geheel anders uit..... Kennedy stelde dat hij geen voorstander was van een Pax-Americana, terwijl de VS volkeren knechtte en knecht als zij tegen de (economische) belangen van de VS handelden en handelen..... (ofwel weinig verschil met de Pax Romana, waar de VS tegenwoordig inderdaad een imperium is....) De VS die democratisch gekozen leiders afzet en dictators parachuteerde en parachuteert en dat niet zelden ten koste van veel mensenlevens......

Het woord vrijheid valt meermaals in de lezing van Kennedy, echter wat is vrijheid in de VS als je geen werk hebt en je afhankelijk bent van voedselbonnen, waar je dure medicatie kan vergeten als je kanker hebt daar je niet of niet voldoende verzekerd bent? Wat is vrijheid als je 2 banen nodig hebt om rond te kunnen komen ? (veel voorkomend in de VS, al moet ik zeggen dat het er tijdens JFK wel wat beter uitzag voor de grote onderlaag van de VS maatschappij) Wat is vrijheid als je alleen al door je kleur op afstand staat en je vanwege je kleur wordt gediscrimineerd? (vergeet niet dat er onder Kennedy nog steeds apartheid bestond in de VS....)

JFK stelt dat hij niet van een alomvattende vrede en in de goede wil van de mens gelooft dat is voor fantasieën en fanatiekelingen...... Ja, als je een alomvattende vrede nastreeft ben je een fanatiekeling, niet als je als land: -overal en nergens met veel geweld ingrijpt, -geheime dodelijke militaire missies uitvoert, -verkiezingen manipuleert, -opstanden organiseert en ga nog maar even door.....) Als je ziet wat de VS vanaf haar oprichting heeft gedaan en doet op het gebied van buitenlandbeleid, staat dat in schril contrast tot vrede en de goede wil van de mens.....

Echte vrede moet volgens JFK door vele naties worden nagestreefd en vrede is niet statisch maar dynamisch, vrede is een proces, een manier om geschillen op te lossen..... Lullig dan toch weer dat de VS precies doet wat JFK niet wenselijk acht: geschillen worden door de VS 'opgelost' met: -sancties waarbij grote aantallen mensen omkomen (vooral kinderen, zwakkeren en ouderen), -staatsgrepen en -illegale oorlogen......

Vrede is niet onuitvoerbaar en oorlog is niet onvermijdelijk, zo stelde JFK in zijn lezing, volgens hem moet de VS volkeren leiden om dat in te zien..... Ik zal niet lachen, maar nogmaals: de VS is vooral goed in het volkeren bijbrengen wat de VS verstaat onder vrede, door geweld te gebruiken, ofwel oorlog voeren om zogenaamde democratische vrede te brengen en zoals gezegd regelmatig door democratisch gekozen regeringsleiders ten val te brengen en daar een trouwe lakei van de VS in de vorm van een dictator te parachuteren.....*

Over kernwapens stelt Kennedy dat het geld daarvoor beter uitgegeven kan worden aan sociale programma's, voor ziektebestrijding en de bestrijding van armoede..... Lullig dan dat vooral de VS groots heeft ingezet op kernbewapening en dat Rusland en China in feite niet anders konden doen dan te volgen, zeker gezien de agressie van de VS, vanaf haar illegale oprichting (op gestolen grond van de oorspronkelijke bevolking die middels een genocide werd gedecimeerd)

Kennedy wees op de bemoeienissen van de VS met Afrika en Azië, dit om communistische invloed tegen te gaan, waar de VS in werkelijkheid een neokoloniaal bewind voerde (en voert) en ondanks al het geblaat in de VS over corruptie, deze elders juist in stand hield (en nog houdt)... Corrupte was en is tenslotte goed voor het grote bedrijfsleven..... Neokolonialisme, waar Kennedy stelde dat de Sovjet-Unie juist haar ('verderfelijke', Ap) invloed uitbreidde.....

Te zot voor woorden zijn de zinnen die JFK gebruikte voor een tekst van de Sovjet-Unie voor militaire strategie, een tekst volgens JFK zonder enige grond en op basis van ongeloofwaardige claims en dat op de ene na de andere bladzijde waar werd gesteld stelt dat de VS bezig is haar invloed te vergroten door oorlogsvoering..... Ben het niet eens met de Sovjet leiders of hoe zij met het volk omgingen, maar in deze hadden ze het volledig bij het rechte eind..... Het voorgaande geldt ook voor wat de top van de Sovjet-Unie zei over de wil van de VS om Europa onderhorig te maken aan haar economische en strategische belangen, ja lullig maar wel degelijk waar..... 

De meest belachelijke zin die Kennedy gebruikte is wel de volgende: “The United States, as the world knows, will never start a war. We do not want a war”. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Wat een oplichter!

Ja, vrede is het belangrijkste onderwerp op aarde, handelde de VS maar eens dusdanig......(plus uiteraard de klimaatverandering, daar bij geen actie een enorm deel van de mensheid en van de dieren het dodelijke slachtoffer zullen zijn en zoals je weet: ook op dat gebied laat de VS het afweten)

President Anderson, members of the faculty, board of trustees, distinguished guests, my old colleague, Senator Bob Byrd, who has earned his degree through many years of attending night law school, while I am earning mine in the next 30 minutes, ladies and gentlemen:
It is with great pride that I participate in this ceremony of the American University, sponsored by the Methodist Church, founded by Bishop John Fletcher Hurst, and first opened by President Woodrow Wilson in 1914. This is a young and growing university, but it has already fulfilled Bishop Hurst's enlightened hope for the study of history and public affairs in a city devoted to the making of history and to the conduct of the public's business. By sponsoring this institution of higher learning for all who wish to learn, whatever their color or their creed, the Methodists of this area and the Nation deserve the Nation's thanks, and I commend all those who are today graduating.

Professor Woodrow Wilson once said that every man sent out from a university should be a man of his nation as well as a man of his time, and I am confident that the men and women who carry the honor of graduating from this institution will continue to give from their lives, from their talents, a high measure of public service and public support.

"There are few earthly things more beautiful than a university," wrote John Masefield, in his tribute to English universities, and his words are equally true today. He did not refer to spires and towers, to campus greens and ivied walls. He admired the splendid beauty of the university, he said, because it was "a place where those who hate ignorance may strive to know, where those who perceive truth may strive to make others see."

I have, therefore, chosen this time and this place to discuss a topic on which ignorance too often abounds and the truth is too rarely perceived, yet it is the most important topic on earth: world peace.

What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children, not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women, not merely peace in our time but peace for all time.

I speak of peace because of the new face of war. Total war makes no sense in an age when great powers can maintain large and relatively invulnerable nuclear forces and refuse to surrender without resort to those forces. It makes no sense in an age when a single nuclear weapon contains almost ten times the explosive force delivered by all of the allied air forces in the Second World War. It makes no sense in an age when the deadly poisons produced by a nuclear exchange would be carried by wind and water and soil and seed to the far corners of the glove and to generations yet unborn.

Today the expenditure of billions of dollars every year of weapons acquired for the purpose of making sure we never need to use them is essential to keeping the peace. But surely the acquisition of such idle stockpiles -- which can only destroy and never create -- is not the only, much less the most efficient, means of assuring peace. I speak of peace, therefore, as the necessary rational end of rational men. I realize that the pursuit of peace is not as dramatic as the pursuit of war and frequently the words of the pursuer fall on deaf ears. But we have no more urgent task.

Some say that it is useless to speak of world peace or world law or world disarmament and that it will be useless until the leaders of the Soviet Union adopt a more enlightened attitude. I hope they do. I believe we can help them do it. But I also believe that we must reexamine our own attitude -- as individuals and as a Nation -- for our attitude is as essential as theirs. And every graduate of this school, every thoughtful citizen who despairs of war and wishes to bring peace, should begin by looking inward -- by examining his own attitude toward the possibilities of peace, toward the Soviet Union, toward the course of the cold war and toward freedom and peace here at home.

First: Let us examine our attitude toward peace itself. Too many of us think it is impossible. Too many think it unreal. But that is a dangerous, defeatist belief. It leads to the conclusion that war is inevitable -- that mankind is doomed, that we are gripped by forces we cannot control.

We need not accept that view. Our problems are manmade, therefore, they can be solved by man. And man can be as big as he wants. No problem of human destiny is beyond human beings. Man's reason and spirit have often solved the seemingly unsolvable and we believe they can do it again.

I am not referring to the absolute, infinite concept of universal peace and good will of which some fantasies and fanatics dream. I do not deny the value of hopes and dreams but we merely invite discouragement and incredulity by making that our only and immediate goal.

Let us focus instead on a more practical, more attainable peace -- based not on a sudden revolution in human nature but on a gradual evolution in human institutions, on a series of concrete actions and effective agreements which are in the interest of all concerned. There is no single, simple key to this peace, no grand or magic formula to be adopted by one or two powers. 
Genuine peace must be the product of many nations, the sum of many acts. It must be dynamic, not static, changing to meet the challenge of each new generation. For peace is a process -- a way of solving problems.

With such a peace, there will still be quarrels and conflicting interests, as there are within families and nations. World peace, like community peace, does not require that each man love his neighbor; it requires only that they live together in mutual tolerance, submitting their disputes to a just and peaceful settlement. And history teaches us that enmities between nations, as between individuals, do not last forever. However our likes and dislikes may seem, the tide of time and events will often bring surprising changes in the relations between nations and neighbors.

So let us persevere. Peace need not be impracticable, and war need not be inevitable. By defining our goal more clearly, by making it seem more manageable and less remote, we can help all peoples to see it, to draw hope from it, and to move irresistibly toward it.

Second: Let us reexamine our attitude toward the Soviet Union. It is discouraging to think that their leaders may actually believe what their propagandists write. It is discouraging to read a recent authoritative Soviet text on Military Strategy and find, on page after page, wholly baseless and incredible claims such as the allegation that "American imperialist circles are preparing to unleash different types of wars ... that there is a very real threat of a preventive war being unleashed by American imperialists against the Soviet Union ... [and that] the political aims of the American imperialists are to enslave economically and politically the European and other capitalist countries ... [and] to achieve world domination ... by means of aggressive wars."

Truly, as it was written long ago: "The wicked flee when no man pursueth." Yet it is sad to read these Soviet statements -- to realize the extent of the gulf between us. But it is also a warning -- a warning to the American people not to fall into the same trap as the Soviets, not to see only a distorted and desperate view of the other side, not to see conflict as inevitable, accommodation as impossible, and communication as nothing more than an exchange of threats.

No government or social system is so evil that its people must be considered as lacking in virtue. As Americans, we find communism profoundly repugnant as a negation of personal freedom and dignity. But we can still hail the Russian people for their many achievements -- in science and space, in economic and industrial growth, in culture and in acts of courage.

Among the many traits the peoples of our two countries have in common, none is stronger than our mutual abhorrence of war. Almost unique, among the major world powers, we have never been at war with each other. And no nation in the history of battle ever suffered more than the Soviet Union suffered in the course of the Second World War. At least 20 million lost their lives. Countless millions of homes and farms were burned or sacked. A third of the nation's territory, including nearly two thirds of its industrial base, was turned into a wasteland -- a loss equivalent to the devastation of this country east of Chicago.

Today, should total war ever break out again no matter how our two countries would become the primary targets. It is an ironic but accurate fact that the two strongest powers are the two in the most danger of devastation. All we have built, all we have worked for, would be destroyed in the first 24 hours. And even in the cold war, which brings burdens and dangers to so many countries, including this Nation's closest allies our two countries bear the heaviest burdens. For we are both devoting massive sums of money to weapons that could be better devoted to combating ignorance, poverty, and disease. We are both caught up in a vicious and dangerous cycle in which suspicion on one side breeds suspicion on the other, and new weapons beget counterweapons.

In short, both the United States and its allies, and the Soviet Union and its allies, have a mutually deep interest in a just and genuine peace and in halting the arms race. Agreements to this end are in the interests of the Soviet Union as well as ours, and even the most hostile nations can be relied upon to accept and keep those treaty obligations, and only those treaty obligations, which are in their own interest. So, let us not be blind to our differences, but let us also direct attention to our common interests and to the means by which those differences can be resolved. And if we cannot end now our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity. For, in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children's future. And we are all mortal.
Third: Let us reexamine our attitude toward the cold war, remembering that we are not engaged in a debate, seeking to pile up debating points. We are not here distributing blame or pointing the finger of judgment. We must deal with the world as it is, and not as it might have been had the history of the last 18 years been different.

We must, therefore, persevere in the search for peace in the hope that constructive changes within the Communist bloc might bring within reach solutions which now seem beyond us. We must conduct our affairs in such a way that it becomes in the Communist's interest to agree on a genuine peace. Above all, while defending our own vital interests, nuclear powers must avert those confrontations which bring an adversary to a choice of either a humiliating retreat or a nuclear war. To adopt that kind of course in the nuclear age would be evidence only of the bankruptcy of our policy -- or of a collective death -- wish for the world. To secure these ends, America's weapons are nonprovocative, carefully controlled, designed to deter, and capable of selective use. Our military forces are committed to peace and disciplined in self-restraint. Our diplomats are instructed to avoid unnecessary irritants and purely rhetorical hostility.

For we can seek a relaxation of tensions without relaxing our guard. And, for our part, we do not need to use threats to prove that we are resolute. We do not need to jam foreign broadcasts out of fear our faith will be eroded. We are unwilling to impose our system on any unwilling people, but we are willing and able to engage in peaceful competition with any people on earth.

Meanwhile, we seek to strengthen the United Nations, to help solve its financial problems, to make it a more effective instrument for peace, to develop it into a genuine world security system -- a system capable of resolving disputes on the basis of law, of insuring the security of the large and the small, and of creating conditions under which arms can finally be abolished. At the same time we seek to keep peace inside the non-Communist world, where many nations, all of them our friends, are divided over issues which weaken Western unity, which invite Communist intervention or which threaten to erupt into war. Our efforts in West New Guinea, in the Congo, in the Middle East, and in the Indian sub continent, have been persistent and patient despite criticism from both sides. We have also tried to set an example for others by seeking to adjust small but significant differences with our own closest neighbors in Mexico and in Canada.

Speaking of other nations, I wish to make one point clear. We are bound to many nations by alliances. Those alliances exist because our concern and theirs substantially overlap. Our commitment to defend Western Europe and West Berlin, for example, stands undiminished because of the identity of our vital interests. The United States will make no deal with the Soviet Union at the expense of other nations and other peoples, not merely because they are our partners, but also because their interests and ours converge.

Our interests converge, however, not only in defending the frontiers of freedom, but in pursuing the paths of peace. It is our hope -- and the purpose of allied policies -- to convince the Soviet Union that she, too, should let each nation choose its own future, so long as that choice does not interfere with the choices of others. The Communist drive to impose their political and economic system on others is the primary cause of world tension today. For there can be no doubt that, if all nations could refrain from interfering in the self determination of others, the peace would be much more assured.

This will require a new effort to achieve world law -- a new context for world discussions. It will require increased understanding between the Soviets and ourselves. And increased understanding will require increased contact and communication. One step in this direction is the proposed arrangement for a direct line between Moscow and Washington, to avoid on each side the dangerous delays, misunderstandings, and misreadings of the other's actions which might occur at a time of crisis.

We have also been talking in Geneva about other first-step measures of arms control, designed to limit the intensity of the arms race and to reduce the risks of accidental war. Our primary long-range interest in Geneva, however, is general and complete disarmament designed to take place by stages, permitting parallel political developments to build the new institutions of peace which would take the place of arms. The pursuit of disarmament has been an effort of this Government since the 1920's. It has been urgently sought by the past three administrations. And however dim the prospects may be today, we intend to continue this effort to continue it in order that all countries, including our own, can better grasp what the problems and possibilities of disarmament are.

The one major area of these negotiations where the end is in sight, yet where a fresh start is badly needed, is in a treaty to outlaw nuclear tests. The conclusion of such a treaty, so near and yet so far, would check the spiraling arms race in one of its most dangerous areas. It would place the nuclear powers in a position to deal more effectively with one of the greatest hazards which man faces in 1963, the further spread of nuclear arms. It would increase our security -- it would decrease the prospects of war. Surely this goal is sufficiently important to require our steady pursuit, yielding neither to the temptation to give up the whole effort nor the temptation to give up our insistence on vital and responsible safeguards. I am taking this opportunity, therefore, to announce two important decisions in this regard.

First: Chairman Khrushchev, Prime Minister Macmillan, and I have agreed that high-level discussions will shortly begin in Moscow looking toward early agreement on a comprehensive test ban treaty. Our hopes must be tempered with the caution of history but with our hopes go the hopes of all mankind.

Second: To make clear our good faith and solemn convictions on the matter, I now declare that the United States does not propose to conduct nuclear tests in the atmosphere so long as other states do not do so. We will not be the first to resume. Such a declaration is no substitute for a formal binding treaty, but I hope it will help us achieve one. Nor would such a treaty be a substitute for disarmament, but I hope it will help us achieve it.

Finally, my fellow Americans, let us examine our attitude toward peace and freedom here at home. The quality and spirit of our own society must justify and support our efforts abroad. We must show it in the dedication of our own lives, as many of you who are graduating today will have a unique opportunity to do, by serving without pay in the Peace Corps abroad or in the proposed National Service Corps here at home.

But wherever we are, we must all, in our daily lives, live up to the age-old faith that peace and freedom walk together. In too many of our cities today, the peace is not secure because freedom is incomplete.

It is the responsibility of the executive branch at all levels of government -- local, State, and National -- to provide and protect that freedom for all of our citizens by all means within their authority. It is the responsibility of the legislative branch at all levels, wherever that authority is not now adequate, to make it adequate. And it is the responsibility of all citizens in all sections of this country to respect the rights of all others and to respect the law of the land.

All this is not unrelated to world peace. "When a man's ways please the Lord," the Scriptures tell us, "he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him." And is not peace, in the last analysis, basically a matter of human rights -- the right to live out our lives without fear of devastation, the right to breathe air as nature provided it, the right of future generations to a healthy existence?

While we proceed to safeguard our national interests, let us also safeguard human interests. And the elimination of war and arms is clearly in the interest of both. No treaty, however much it may be to the advantage of all, however tightly it may be worded, can provide absolute security against the risks of deception and evasion. But it can, if it is sufficiently effective in its enforcement and if it is sufficiently in the interests of its signers, offer far more security and far fewer risks than an unabated, uncontrolled, unpredictable arms race.

The United States, as the world knows, will never start a war. We do not want a war. We do not now expect a war. This generation of Americans has already had enough -- more than enough -- of war and hate and oppression. We shall be prepared if others wish it. We shall be alert to try to stop it. But we shall also do our part to build a world of peace where the weak are safe and the strong are just. We are not helpless before that task or hopeless of its success. Confident and unafraid, we labor on, not toward a strategy of annihilation but toward a strategy of peace.
