Caitlin Johnstone plaatste gisteren een artikel over de keus van de Trump administratie voor VS ambassadeur bij de VN Veiligheidsraad, nu oorlogshitser, pathologische leugenaar en psychopaat Nikki Haley.

De keus is gevallen op Heather Nauert, voormalig Fox presentator en huidig woordvoerder van het VS ministerie van buitenlandse zaken. Een neoliberale ploert die niet onderdoet voor haat- en angstzaaier Haley, zoals ze bij Fox en in haar functie als buitenlandse zaken woordvoerder al voldoende heeft laten zien.

Ongelofelijk, de reacties op het vertrek van Haley, als betrof het een groot bewindspersoon, i.p.v. een oorlogshoer, die ziel en zaligheid heeft verkocht aan de duivel genaamd militair-industrieel complex, een duivel die zoveel mogelijk oorlog en ellende wil zien op de wereld, een duivel aan wie de VS jaarlijks honderden miljarden dollars belastinggeld offert...........

Johnstone gaat o.a. in op de kritiek als zou Nauert elke ervaring missen om te fungeren als ambassadeur bij de VN, waar Johnsone betoogt dat Nauert niet onderdoet voor leugenaar en oorlogshitser Haley.

When UN Ambassador Nikki Haley announced her upcoming resignation from the position, establishment loyalists spent the day awash with grief that the Trump administration was losing one of its remaining moderate Republican voices.

“Nikki Haley, ambassador to the United Nations, has resigned, leaving the administration with one less moderate Republican voice,” tweeted the New York Times, without defining what specifically is “moderate” about relentlessly pushing for war and starvation sanctions at every opportunity and adamantly defending the slaughter of unarmed Palestinian protesters with sniper fire.

“Too bad Nikki Haley has resigned,” tweeted law professor turned deranged Russia conspiracy theorist Laurence Tribe. “She was one of the last members of Trumplandia with even a smidgen of decency.”

Well I’ve got some good news for those who lamented the loss of a virulent psychopathic war whore as UN ambassador, and bad news for any anti-interventionist Trump voters who’ve been secretly hoping this administration would use Haley’s vacancy to move in a less hawkish direction: you’re getting another one just like her. According to multiple sources, Trump has confirmed early rumors and selected State Department Spokeswoman and former Fox News pundit Heather Nauert as Haley’s replacement.

Trump To Appoint Heather Nauert As U.S. Ambassador To United Nations

The former Fox News host is Trump's pick to replace Nikki Haley.

Ever since rumors emerged of Nauert’s selection for the job last month, the dominant criticisms have been that she lacks “experience” and “qualifications” for the job of US Ambassador to the United Nations. These criticisms have picked up ever since these early rumors were confirmed, and they are illegitimate for two reasons. The first is that a position as Fox News propagandist is very much the sort of experience an American needs to be a UN Ambassador, especially for this administration. The second is that all the job requires is a willingness to sell one’s soul for the promotion of US war agendas, and to occasionally help kick Palestinian human rights further into the gutter than they already are. No experience is required for this, and these are things we already know Nauert could do in her sleep.

As State Department Spokeswoman, Nauert’s messaging has already been moving in lockstep with that of Haley anyway. She speaks about Syria as though it is the property of the United States, routinely warning the Syrian government not to re-take its own land from the western-backed terrorist factions that nearly overran the nation. She regularly promotes the unrest in Iran that the Trump administration has been deliberately attempting to foment with starvation sanctions and CIA covert ops, and helps sell the absolute lie that Iran is “the leading state sponsor of terrorism”. She promotes anti-Venezuela narratives, anti-Russia narratives, anti-North Korea narratives, anti-Houthi narratives, and anti-Palestinian narratives. She’s been at this job since April of last year, and her talking points have consistently mirrored Haley’s.

Nauert is perfectly qualified for the job of UN Ambassador, because all that job requires is being a sociopathic war pig. She’s already been doing that.

All this fuss about Nauert’s “experience” highlights perfectly why Trump’s ostensible opposition has been almost entirely worthless: they don’t focus on any of the evil foreign policy decisions that this administration is actually advancing, because they don’t actually oppose those decisions. They aren’t concerned that Nauert will promote senseless, psychotic acts of military mass murder, they are concerned that she lacks the necessary qualifications to promote it skillfully and professionally. On this matter, as with all matters, Trump’s self-proclaimed “resistance” is perfectly comfortable with the blood-spattered face of world-dominating imperialism. They just want it to go back to smiling and saying things politely.

The problem with most of the opposition to Trump is that they’re not interested in waking up, they’re interested in removing an annoying wrinkle in their bedsheets so that they can go back to sleep. They don’t care about the monstrous acts of violence that are inflicted upon human beings on the other side of the globe in their name, so they focus on irrelevant nonsense like whether or not Heather Nauert is qualified to read from the same imperialist script that was read by Haley, Samantha Power and Susan Rice.

Those who care about reality don’t care about who’s reading from that script. It is the script itself they seek to burn.

Een aantal keren in de recente geschiedenis van de mens, was het spreekwoord van de balk en het oog niet beter van toepassing, dan op (meestal politiek) gebied. Daar heeft Power er met dit pleidooi weer één aan toegevoegd!! 'Pleidooi?' Zeg maar eis, immers de VN is verworden tot een lobbyorgaan van de VS!!

Als er één land is, dat vervolgd zou moeten voor enorme oorlogsmisdaden, zoals openlijke, illegale oorlogvoering >> alleen in deze eeuw al drie keer en voor velen is dat zelfs al vier keer, als je Afghanistan meetelt De andere landen in chronologische volgorde: Irak, Libië en Syrië (de laatste 2 middels het regisseren van de opstand, die tot een coup moest lijden, wat in Libië wel is geslaagd).....). Wat betreft Afghanistan: niemand die toentertijd bezwaar maakte tegen de inval van de VS in dat land, terwijl de gronden daarvoor uiterst twijfelachtig waren, neem alleen al het feit dat de daders voor het merendeel uit Saoedi-Arabië kwamen en ook door dat land werden gefinancierd........

Juist de VS en dan met name het militair-industrieel complex, dat een enorme invloed heeft op het regeringsbeleid in de VS...... Voorts verdween er een enorm aantal financiële documenten, die 'toevallig' negatief uitpakten voor de overheid van de VS.....

Terreurgroepen als Al Qaida en IS zijn het directe gevolg van ingrijpen door het westen (o.l.v. de VS) in het Midden-Oosten, Afrika en Afghanistan. Terreurgroepen die worden gesteund met wapens en militaire training door de VS, zoals in Syrië is gebeurd...... Waarmee ook de terreuraanslagen in de EU, terug te leiden zijn tot het handelen van de VS (met de NAVO aan de hand).......

Ook voor de 'burgeroorlog' in Oekraïne is de VS verantwoordelijk: de opstand die tot de staatsgreep tegen de democratisch gekozen regering Janoekovytsj moest leiden, werd door de VS geregisseerd en gefinancierd (met 4 miljard dollar!!)....... Dezelfde VS die verantwoordelijk was voor het parachuteren van de corrupte neonazi pro-VS Porosjenko junta!

Je begrijpt werkelijk niet, waar figuren als Power elke keer weer het gore lef vandaan halen, om met de bloederige vingers naar anderen te wijzen, terwijl die nog niet een honderdste van de ellende hebben veroorzaakt, in vergelijking met de grootschalige terreur die de VS overal uitoefent waar het zo uitkomt.........

MH17 rapport JIT klopt niet aldus o.a. prof. Michel Chossudovsky!!

In het volgende artikel op Global Research betoogt professor Michel Chossudovsky dat vlucht MH17 is neergehaald door een MIG straaljager. Lees dit artikel en zegt het voort. U vindt o.a. een link naar 100 berichten op Global Research over de ramp met MH17. Het artikel vond ik op het blog van Stan van Houcke en bevat o.a. een eerder artikel van Chossudovsky:

The evidence presented in this Global Research article (below) first published on July 31, 2014 contradicts the report of the Dutch Safety Board and provides evidence:  

The evidence amply confirms that Malaysian Airlines MH17 was not brought down by a surface to air missile. It was brought down by military aircraft. 

The West continues to accuse Russia and the Donbass separatists of having brought down the plane with a surface to air missile. IT’S A LIE. The Dutch investigation has been twisted. 

UPDATE, August 7, 2016

Washington’s agenda in liaison with the Kiev regimes is to blame Russia. In recent developments (August 3, 2016), Ukraine president Poroshenko has visited Malaysia for discussions with Prime Minister Razak Najib:

“Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said Malaysia will work with Ukraine to bring the perpetrators to justice. “We will do whatever we can to find the truth for the sake of families who lost their loved ones in this tragic incident. “We are waiting for the criminal investigation report, which is expected to be tabled by the year-end, followed by a meeting to decide on the next course of action,” said Najib.(New Straights Times, August 4, 2016)

The evidence available in September 2014 –including a BBC report which the BBC decided to suppress– refutes the official story. 

As we recall, the alleged role of Russia in bringing down the plane was used as a justification to implement the economic sanctions regime against Moscow. Although not explicitly mentioned by the Dutch investigators, Moscow remains the “main suspect” in this twisted and fraudulent investigation, which will no doubt be the object of a new gush of media lies and distortions. Moscow has expressed its disagreement. 

“They are fundamentally wrong, the lack of logic there is beyond comparison… I had a feeling that the commission was cherry-picking the evidence to suit a theory they had chosen.” Deputy head of Russia’s federal air transport agency Oleg Storchevoi (quoted by the Associated Press

Meanwhile, the Dutch investigators have decided to temporarily withhold their final verdict:  

“it soon should determine the exact launch site of the missile that brought down the plane, killing all 298 people on board.

But Fred Westerbeke, the prosecutor leading the international probe, warned Monday that completing the investigation would take much longer. He declined to name a possible finishing date.

After briefing relatives of victims on the investigation, Westerbeke pledged to complete the investigation “as quickly as possible, if only because of the frustration among the families.” (AP, March 7, 2016)

“SUPPORT MH17 TRUTH”: OSCE MONITORS IDENTIFY “SHRAPNEL AND MACHINE GUN-LIKE HOLES” INDICATING SHELLING. NO EVIDENCE OF A MISSILE ATTACK. SHOT DOWN BY A MILITARY AIRCRAFT

According to the report of German pilot and airlines expert Peter Haisenko, the MH17 Boeing 777 was not brought down by a missile. 

What he observed from the available photos were perforations of the cockpit: 

 The facts speak clear and loud and are beyond the realm of speculation: The cockpit shows traces of shelling! You can see the entry and exit holes. The edge of a portion of the holes is bent inwards. These are the smaller holes, round and clean, showing the entry points most likely that of a 30 millimeter caliber projectile. (Revelations of German Pilot: Shocking Analysis of the “Shooting Down” of Malaysian MH17. “Aircraft Was Not Hit by a Missile” Global Research, July 30, 2014) 

Based on detailed analysis Peter Haisenko reached  the conclusion that the MH17 was not downed by a missile attack:

This aircraft was not hit by a missile in the central portion. The destruction is limited to the cockpit area. Now you have to factor in that this part is constructed of specially reinforced material

The OSCE Mission

It is worth noting that the initial statements by OSCE (OVSE, AP) observers (July 31) broadly confirm the findings of Peter Haisenko:

Monitors from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe reported that shrapnel-like holes were found in two separate pieces of the fuselage of the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines aircraft that was believed to have been downed by a missile in eastern Ukraine.

Michael Bociurkiw of the OSCE group of monitors at his daily briefing described part of the plane’s fuselage dotted with “shrapnel-like, almost machine gun-like holes.” He said the damage was inspected by Malaysian aviation-security officials .(Wall Street Journal, July 31, 2014)

The monitoring OSCE team has not found evidence of a missile fired from the ground as conveyed by official White House statements. As we recall, the US ambassador to the UN Samantha Power stated –pointing a finger at Russia– that the Malaysian MH17 plane was “likely downed by a surface-to-air missile operated from a separatist-held location”:

The team of international investigators with the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) are uncertain if the missile used was fired from the ground as US military experts have previously suggested, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported. (Malay Mail online, emphasis added)

The initial OSCE findings tend to dispel the claim that a BUK missile system brought down the plane.

Evidently, inasmuch as the perforations are attributable to shelling, a shelling operation conducted from the ground could not have brought down an aircraft traveling above 30,000 feet.

Ukraine Su-25 military aircraft within proximity of MH17 

Peter Haisenko’s study is corroborated by the Russian Ministry of Defense which pointed to a Ukrainian Su-25 jet in the flight corridor of the MH17, within proximity of the plane.

Ironically, the presence of a military aircraft is also confirmed by a BBC  report conducted at the crash site on July 23.

All the eyewitnesses  interviewed by the BBC confirmed the presence of a Ukrainian military aircraft flying within proximity of Malaysian Airlines MH17 at the time that it was shot down: 

Eyewitness #1: There were two explosions in the air. And this is how it broke apart. And [the fragments] blew apart like this, to the sides. And when …

Eyewitness #2: … And there was another aircraft, a military one, beside it. Everybody saw it.

Eyewitness #1: Yes, yes. It was flying under it, because it could be seen. It was proceeding underneath, below the civilian one.

Eyewitness #3: There were sounds of an explosion. But they were in the sky. They came from the sky. Then this plane made a sharp turn-around like this. It changed its trajectory and headed in that direction [indicating the direction with her hands].

Media Spin

The media has reported that a surface to air missile was indeed fired and exploded before reaching its target.  It was not the missile that brought down the plane, it was the shrapnel resulting from the missile explosion (prior to reaching the plane) which punctured the plane and then led to a loss of pressure.

According to Ukraine’s National security spokesman Andriy Lysenko in a contradictory statement, the MH17 aircraft “suffered massive explosive decompression after being hit by a shrapnel missile.”  (See IBT, Australia)

In an utterly absurd report, the BBC quoting the official Ukraine statement  says that:

The downed Malaysia Airlines jet in eastern Ukraine suffered an explosive loss of pressure after it was punctured by shrapnel from a missile.

They say the information came from the plane’s flight data recorders, which are being analysed by British experts.

However, it remains unclear who fired a missile, with pro-Russia rebels and Ukraine blaming each other.

Many of the 298 people killed on board flight MH17 were from the Netherlands.

Dutch investigators leading the inquiry into the crash have refused to comment on the Ukrainian claims.

“Machine Gun Like Holes”

The shrapnel marks should be distinguished from the small entry and exit holes “most likely that of a 30 millimeter caliber projectile” fired from a military aircraft. These holes could not have been caused by a missile explosion as hinted by the MSM.

While the MSN is saying that the “shrapnel like holes” can be caused by a missile (see BBC report above), the OSCE has confirmed the existence of what it describes as “machine gun like holes”, without however acknowledging that these cannot be caused by a missile.

In this regard, the GSh-302 firing gun operated by an Su-25 is able to fire 3000 rpm which explains the numerous entry and exit holes.

According to the findings of Peter Haisenko: 

If we now consider the armament of a typical SU 25 we learn this: It is equipped with a double-barreled 30-mm gun, type GSh-302 / AO-17A, equipped with: a 250 round magazine of anti-tank incendiary shells and splinter-explosive shells (dum-dum), arranged in alternating order. The cockpit of the MH 017 has evidently been fired at from both sides: the entry and exit holes are found on the same fragment of it’s cockpit segment (op cit)

The accusations directed against Russia including the sanctions regime imposed by Washington are based on a lie.

The evidence does not support the official US narrative to the effect that the MH17 was shot down by a BUK missile system operated by the DPR militia.

What next? More media disinformation, more lies?
