VS en Japan stoken samen de 'oorlogsboel' op over de Oost-Chinese Zee

In het hieronder opgenomen artikel van Tyler Durden op Zero Hedge, vertelt hij dat de boel op 'oorlogscherp' staat in de Oost-Chinese Zee dit over de claim op een paar eilandjes door China en Japan, t.w. de onbewoonde Senkaku-eilanden, ook aangeduid als Diaoyu-eilanden.

Uiteraard moet de VS zich er weer mee bemoeien en als je het mij vraagt is het vooral de VS die Japan opstookt deze eilandjes te claimen.......

Kortom niet alleen in de Zuid-Chinese Zee ('what's in a word?'), maar ook in de Oost-Chinese Zee is de VS uit op oorlog met China, immers de VS staat voor de veiligheid van Japan, dit n.a.v. een veiligheidsverdrag gesloten in de 50er jaren met Japan en dan m.n artikel 5 uit dat verdrag......

Om de boel nog verder op scherp te zetten hebben de VS en Japan een grote militaire oefening gepland, waarmee men oefent op 'eventuele agressie' van China..... (en als er nu één land op de wereld is dat uiterst agressief bezig is, is het de VS wel >> de VS de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, nu verwikkeld in minstens 4 illegaal door deze vereniging van terreurstaten begonnen oorlogen.......) Er wordt zelfs overleg gevoerd tussen Japan en de VS over een militair antwoord op de 'Chinese dreiging' t.a.v. de Senkaku-eilanden....... De eerder genoemde grote militaire oefening van de VS en Japan kan je zien als voorbereiding daarop........

Deze militaire oefening met de naam 'Keen Sword' (ha! ha! ha!) is volgens generaal en oorlogsmisdadiger William Seeley een aanvulling op de grote NAVO oefening Trident Juncture, die plaatsvindt in Noorwegen (en Oekraïne)....... (ik reken ook de grote luchtmachtoefening in Oekraïne toe aan die grote militaire oefening, immers daar wordt ook het zogenaamde raketschild in Polen en Roemenië bij betrokken, een schild waarvan de raketten in een mum van tijd van meerdere kernkoppen kunnen worden voorzien >> dit is een schending van het INF verdrag..... Dit terwijl het door een corrupte neonazi-junta geregeerd Oekraïne niet eens lid is van de NAVO....*)

Things are again rapidly heating up in the East China Sea amidst already heightened tensions in a region where Washington is increasingly asserting the right of navigation in international waters against broad Chinese claims and seeking to defend the territorial possessions of its allies. 

According to a bombshell new Reuters report the tiny and rocky Senkaku Islands which lie between northern Taiwan and the Japanese home islands are "rapidly turning into a flashpoint for war". Alarmingly, Japanese government sources have been quoted as saying Tokyo and the United States are drawing up an operations plan for an allied military response to Chinese threats to the disputed Senkaku Islands.

From nearly the start of his entering the White House, President Trump has said he's committed to upholding Article 5 of the US-Japan security treaty signed the post-war years of the mid-20th century: “We are committed to the security of Japan and all areas under its administrative control and to further strengthening our very crucial alliance,” Trump had promised from the first official reception of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe back in February 2017, and since consistently maintained. 

Japanese government sources have told regional media that the joint plan of response with the United States involves "how to respond in the event of an emergency on or around the uninhabited islands in the East China Sea" — which is set to be completed by next march, according to the statements. 

Beijing claims the islands as part of its historical inheritance — as it does neighbouring Taiwan, despite failing to seize the protectorate during the Chinese Civil War.

Taiwan, however, was a Japanese protectorate before World War II.

The Japan Times reports that “The plan being drawn up assumes such emergencies as armed Chinese fishermen landing on the islands, and Japan’s Self-Defense Forces needing to be mobilized after the situation exceeds the capacity of the police to respond.”

The situation is now taking on a greater urgency as both the US and Japan participate in the two nations' largest ever join war games, which involves the nuclear-powered USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier. The exercise, called Keen Sword began on Monday and is set to run through Thursday, and involved a combined force of 57,000 sailors, airmen and marines — with Japan contributing 47,000 of those military personnel. Canadian warships are also involved in the exercises.

Japan is seeking greater direct commitment and resolve on the part of the United States to defend its territorial claims against Chinese encroachment, which Japan says is already beginning to happen through informal provocative raids of fishing boats organized by Beijing. 

Reuters reports that "ongoing aggressive incursions by Chinese fishing boats — organised as a state militia — and a freshly militarized coast guard has seen tensions in the East China Sea flare." And the report further confirms: “The plan being drawn up assumes such emergencies as armed Chinese fishermen landing on the islands, and Japan’s Self-Defense Forces needing to be mobilized after the situation exceeds the capacity of the police to respond.”

Though the United States has in the past expressed deep reluctance on outright defending claims to the Japan-administered islands (indicating it will take no official position on the issue), which China calls the Diaoyu, Japan's Self-Defense Forces says the focus of talks with the US has involved how to incorporate the US military’s strike capabilities in any potential Chinese invasion of the Senkaku Islands scenario. 

One Japanese military analyst was quoted as saying: “Given that military organizations always need to assume the worst possible situation, it is natural for the two countries to work on this kind of plan against China.”

The two already have a framework for such talks based on recently created 2015 defense guidelines known ans the Bilateral Planning Mechanism, or BPM. It stipulates the US and Japan's Self-Defense Forces will “conduct bilateral operations to counter ground attacks against Japan by ground, air, maritime, or amphibious forces”. Currently there's a similar contingency plan in place for a potential emergency threat on the Korean peninsula.

Between now and the spring - when the plan is set to be finalized and agreed upon - China will likely ramp up its incursions on the islands, or just seize them altogether before US commitments can be firmed up, in which case the great unknown will be whether the United States actually steps up to come to Japan's aid while risking war with China — something that up until now has been carefully avoided.

NAVO ambassadeur voor de VS Kay Bailey Hutchison beschuldigt Rusland van het schenden Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF Verdrag, een verdrag tegen nucleaire middellangeafstandsraketten). Wat de VS betreft, in dit geval bij monde van Bailey Hutchison, is dit voldoende om Rusland met oorlog te dreigen en dat deed ze dan ook...........

Vreemd genoeg kan Bailey Hutchison niet bewijzen dat Rusland inderdaad het verdrag overtreedt met een nieuw soort raket, terwijl de VS dit verdrag zelf met voeten heeft getreden met de introductie in Roemenië en Polen van het 'raketschild', zogenaamd tegen inkomende raketten van Iran, maar waar de raketten kunnen worden uitgerust met meerdere kernkoppen, het is dan ook geen raketschild tegen Iran, maar het zijn aanvalsbases met nucleaire middellangeafstandsraketten tegen Rusland en dan bijvoorbeeld uitermate dicht op Moskou......... (iets dergelijk zou Rusland in de buurt van Washington D.C. moeten proberen.....)

Deze dreiging van de VS met oorlog tegen Rusland was de derde op rij, de tweede werd op 28 september jl., gedaan, toen stelde Ryan Zinke de minister van Binnenlandse Zaken, dat de VS de export van Russische energie zou kunnen blokkeren met de marine......... Als de VS dit zou doen zou het onmiddellijk in oorlog zijn met Rusland, zoals je zal begrijpen.......

De eerste keer was tijdens de eerste hysterie over de leugen dat Rusland de VS presidentsverkiezingen zou hebben gemanipuleerd, onder andere middels hacken. Daarop liet de VS weten dat het hacken van de VS overheid in de toekomst zal worden gezien als een oorlogsdaad en dat de VS daar als zodanig op zal reageren......... De naam Rusland werd niet genoemd, maar dat was niet nodig iedereen wist wie de VS bedoelde: Rusland!

De schrijver van het hieronder opgenomen artikel, Peter Korzun gepubliceerd op Strategic Culture, geeft in het slot van zijn artikel nog eens fijntjes weer hoe Rusland zich gedraagt. Zo heeft Rusland nooit troepen in de buurt van VS grenzen gestationeerd, nooit heeft Rusland de VS met oorlog gedreigd, noch heeft Rusland sancties opgelegd of is het 'handelsoorlogen' begonnen (de illegale oorlogen die de VS begon om haar belangen veilig te stellen, vooral voor de olie- en gasindustrie, maar ook uit strategische belang.....) Overigens spreekt Korzun niet over de hiervoor genoemde eerste dreiging met oorlog.

Weer plaats de VS, de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, de wereld op de rand van een allesvernietigende oorlog.......

US Openly Threatens Russia with War: Goodbye Diplomacy, Hello Stone Age

US Ambassador to NATO Kay Bailey Hutchison is a highly placed diplomat. Her words, whatever they may be, are official, which includes the ultimatums and threats that have become the language increasingly used by US diplomats to implement the policy of forceful persuasion or coercive diplomacy. Bellicose (krijgslustig, Ap) declarations are being used this way as a tool.

On Oct. 2, the ambassador proved it again. According to her statement, Washington is ready to use force against Russia. Actually, she presented an ultimatum — Moscow must stop the development of a missile that the US believes to be in violation of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF Treaty). If not, the American military will destroy it before the weapon becomes operational. “At that point, we would be looking at the capability to take out a (Russian) missile that could hit any of our countries,” Hutchison stated at a news conference. "Counter measures (by the United States) would be to take out the missiles that are in development by Russia in violation of the treaty," she added. "They are on notice." This is nothing other than a direct warning of a preemptive strike.

It is true that compliance with the INF Treaty is a controversial issue. Moscow has many times claimed that Washington was in violation, and that position has been substantiated. For instance, the Aegis Ashore system, which has been installed in Romania and is to be deployed in Poland, uses the Mk-41 launcher that is capable of firing intermediate-range Tomahawk missiles. This is a flagrant breach of the INF Treaty. The fact is undeniable. The US accuses Moscow of possessing and testing a ground-launched cruise missile with a range capability of 500 km to 5,500 km (310-3,417 miles), but there has never been any proof to support this claim. Russia has consistently denied the charges. It says the missile in question — the 9M729 — is in compliance with the provisions of the treaty and has never been upgraded or tested for the prohibited range.

This is a reasonable assertion. After all, there is no way to prevent such tests from being detected and monitored by satellites. The US could raise the issue with the Special Verification Commission (SVC). Instead it threatens to start a war.

This is momentous, because the ambassador’s words were not a botched statement or an offhand comment, but in fact followed another “warning” made by a US official recently.

Speaking on Sept. 28 at an industry event in Pennsylvania hosted by the Consumer Energy Alliance, Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke suggested that the US Navy could be used to impose a blockade to restrict Russia’s energy trade. "The United States has that ability, with our Navy, to make sure the sea lanes are open, and, if necessary, to blockade... to make sure that their energy does not go to market," he said, revealing that this was an option. The Interior Department has nothing to do with foreign policy, but Mr. Zinke is a high-ranking member of the administration.

Two bellicose statements made one after another and both are just short of a declaration of war! A blockade is a hostile act that would be countered with force, and the US is well aware of this. It is also well aware that Russia will defend itself. It’s important to note that no comments or explanations have come from the White House. This confirms the fact that what the officials have said reflects the administration’s position.

This brings to mind the fact that the Interdiction and Modernization of Sanctions Act has passed the House of Representatives. The legislation includes the authority to inspect Chinese, Iranian, Syrian, and Russian ports. Among the latter are the ports of Nakhodka, Vanino, and Vladivostok. This is an openly hostile act and a blatant violation of international law. If the bill becomes law, it will likely start a war with the US acting as the aggressor.

Trident Juncture, the largest training event held by NATO since 2002, kicks off on October 25 and will last until November 7, 2018. It will take place in close proximity to Russia’s borders. Russia’s Vostok-2018 exercise in September was the biggest seen there since the Cold War, but it was held in the Far East, far from NATO’s area of responsibility. It’s NATO, not Russia, who is escalating the already tense situation in Europe by holding such a large-scale exercise adjacent to Russia’s borders.

Russia is not the only country to be threatened with war. Attempts are being made to intimidate China as well. Tensions are running high in the South China Sea, where US and Chinese ships had an "unsafe" interaction with each other on Sept. 30. A collision was barely avoided. As a result, US Defense Secretary James Mattis had to suspend his visit to China when it was called off by Beijing. The security dialog between the two nations has stalled.

Perhaps the only thing left to do is to give up on having a normal relationship with the United States. Ambassador Hutchison’s statement is sending a clear message of: “forget about diplomacy, we’re back to the Stone Age,” with Washington leading the way. This is the new reality, so get used to it. Just shrug it off and try to live without the US, but be vigilant and ready to repel an attack that is very likely on the way.

It should be noted that Moscow has never threatened the US with military action. It has never deployed military forces in proximity to America’s shores. It did not start all those unending sanctions and trade wars. When exposing the US violations of international agreements, it has never claimed that the use of force was an option. It has tried hard to revive the dialog on arms control and to coordinate operations in Syria. But it has also had to issue warnings about consequences, in case it were provoked to respond to a hostile act. If the worst happens, we’ll all know who is to blame. Washington bears the responsibility for pushing the world to the brink of war.

Chinese marine troeft VS af in Zuid-Chinese Zee

De VS rekent de Zuid-Chinese Zee tot haar territoriale wateren, althans anders kan je niet concluderen als je ziet dat de VS China keer op keer uitdaagt in een gebied dat China 'iets meer gerechtigd dan de VS', ziet als haar territoriale wateren.......

Eindelijk heeft China besloten dat het genoeg is geweest en heeft de torpedobootjager USS Decator, een schip met geleide raketten aan boord, weggejaagd uit haar territoriale wateren!

China wordt door de westerse wereld beschuldigd van 'expansiedrift', door het opspuiten van eilandjes in de Zuid-Chinese Zee. Echter gezien het grote aantal militaire bases van terreurentiteit VS rond een deel van haar grondgebied, kan je niet anders dan China gelijk geven, immers de VS heeft ruim voldoende bewezen totaal onbetrouwbaar te zijn en uiterst agressief te opereren en dat in een fiks deel van de wereld...... 

Trouwens over expansiedrift gesproken, als er voor die claim één land in aanmerking komt is het wel de VS, met haar meer dan 800 militaire bases over de wereld en dat voor een 'land' dat zoals gezegd ten overvloede heeft bewezen uiterst agressief te werk te gaan, neem alleen al: 

• alle illegale oorlogen die het is begonnen. 
• het organiseren van staatsgrepen in vele landen, veelal voorafgegaan door door de VS georganiseerde opstanden, zoals in Libië, Oekraïne en Syrië (waarin de CIA in beide gevallen, dus zowel opstand als coup, een grote rol speelde). 
• het uitvoeren van geheime militaire operaties. 
• het hacken zelfs van bevriende regeringen (zoals de telefoon van de Duitse premier Merkel).
• het manipuleren van de bevolking via diverse media in binnenland en in vele buitenlanden*. 
• het voeren van de oorlog tegen drugs**. 
• het vermoorden van verdachten middels drones, waarbij godbetert meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers niet eens werd verdacht, dus veelal vrouwen en kinderen.......

Vanaf het einde van WOII heeft de VS ruim meer dan 22 miljoen mensen vermoord......***

Gelukkig dat China en Rusland intussen schoon genoeg hebben van de VS terreur en niet meer terugdeinzen om de spierballen te laten zien (zo heeft Rusland de door de VS en NAVO lidstaten gevreesde S-300 raketten geleverd aan Syrië, dit tegen de agressie van Israël, de VS en een paar hielenlikkende NAVO partners. Het is de hoogste tijd dat de VS zich volledig terugtrekt op eigen (gestolen) bodem en daar blijft, ofwel: Yankee go home (and stay there)!!

Chinese Warship Intercepts US Guided-Missile Destroyer in South China Sea

(ANTIWAR.COM) — US naval operations in the South China Sea are built primarily around needling China. China has built up a number of islands and claims ownership of them. The US insists China doesn’t own them, and also that they’re not really islands, so the USS Decatur, a guided-missile destroyer, was sent to sail past one of the islands, as a way to thumbing their nose at Chinese claims.

That doesn’t work for China, who sent one of their own destroyers to intercept the American ship, which was just 12 nautical miles off the Spratly Islands. China called the US ship’s presence a “threat” and said the Chinese ship was sent there to tell them to leave.

US officials are now furious as well, both because they intend to keep sailing past those islands to spite China, and because they say China’s ship was “unsafe” in getting so close to them, forcing the USS Decatur to move to prevent a collision.

US officials tend to over-emphasize the “unsafe” operations of anyone confronting US warships, especially pushed when tensions are mounting, as the US-China tensions have been in recent weeks.

Two destroyers 45 yards from one another is close, but not unnavigable. China’s ship forced the US ship to turn, which was the whole point of the interception, to chase the USS Decatur out of what China considers their territorial waters.

Generally, a ship passing 12 miles from a small island would barely be noticed, and China has previously ignored such operations. The Pentagon, however, have emphasized that they are explicitly flouting Chinese territorial claims with such sail-bys, and China apparently felt obliged to respond.

Israëlische bronnen meldden onlangs dat Israël bezig is met de voorbereiding op een oorlog, die op meerdere fronten gevoerd moet gaan worden...... De VS stelt de soevereiniteit en democratie van landen als de Filipijnen, Japan en Taiwan 'te verdedigen*' tegen Chinese 'agressie', agressie die bestaat uit het opspuiten van eilandjes in de Zuid-Chinese Zee, een zee die niet aan de VS grenst, maar zoals de naam al doet vermoeden, wel aan China.......

Gezien de grootschalige terreur die de VS verspreidt in bijvoorbeeld het Midden-Oosten (waartoe men voor voor het gemak ook Afghanistan en Libië rekent) en het feit dat de VS rond China en Rusland meer dan 600 militaire bases hebben ingericht, is het bepaald niet vreemd dat China een buffer rond haar land probeert in te richten. (een buffer rond Rusland werd door de uiterst agressieve VS met de NAVO aan de lijn, voor een groot deel afgebroken, dit volkomen tegen de eerder gemaakte afspraken met Gorbatsjov in.......)

Tel daar de VS import heffingen op Chinees staal en aluminium bij op en je kan niets anders zien dan het begin van een handelsoorlog..... Het plaatje is compleet: ook China moet zich onderwerpen aan de VS hegemonie, daar het anders te maken krijgt met het leger van de VS........**

Het nieuwe budget voor de VS defensie, uh oorlogsvoering is hoger dan ooit tevoren, ondanks dat het Pentagon 11,5 biljoen over de laatste jaren niet kan verantwoorden...... (en niet goedgekeurd door het congres) Gezien dit enorme budget en het voorgaande, kan je niet anders concluderen dan dat het hier om een oorlogsbudget gaat, niet alleen voor de illegale oorlogen die de VS nog voert (Afghanistan, Irak en Syrië), maar vooral t.b.v. komende (illegale) oorlogen, die de 'neocons***' op hun verlanglijst hebben staan...... Deze neocons hebben in feite het Witte Huis overgenomen.....

US Warship Infuriates China After Sailing Within 12 Miles of Disputed Island

(ANTIMEDIA) — A U.S. Navy destroyer carried out a “freedom of navigation” operation on Friday, coming within 12 nautical miles of one of China’s artificial islands, according to an exclusive Reuters report.

Speaking to Reuters on the condition of anonymity, U.S. officials said the destroyer Mustin traveled close to Mischief Reef in the Spratly Islands and carried out maneuvering operations. Washington’s intention was to counter what it sees as China’s attempts to limit the freedom of navigation in the strategically located waters.

The navigation reportedly infuriated Beijing, which still has territorial disputes with its neighbors. As Reuters highlighted, 12 nautical miles is an internationally recognized territorial limit and fits a recent pattern of U.S. navigational behavior. However, it is highly likely that the U.S. purposely brought the ship as close as possible, as it has become increasingly concerned that China’s build-up in the area will eventually drive the U.S. out and make its so-called free nautical movement non-existent.

According to Reuters, the U.S. military believes its activities are carried out under international law and relies on the fact that American forces regularly operate in the region.

“We conduct routine and regular freedom of navigation operations, as we have done in the past and will continue to do in the future,” Lieutenant Commander Nicole Schwegman, a spokesperson for the U.S. Pacific Fleet, said, as quoted by Reuters.

China’s response to this latest move was to send two naval ships of its own to identify the ships and warn the destroyer to leave. In turn, China has vowed to accelerate its plans for the region in order to combat the American presence.

“The provocative behaviour by the U.S. side will only cause the Chinese military to further strengthen building up defense abilities in all areas,” a Chinese Defense Ministry statement read.

Its navy will also carry out combat drills in the South China Sea, calling the development part of regular annual exercises.

This is not the first time this year Washington has sent a warship to the area, rattling China in the process. In January, China vowed to take “necessary measures” to protect its sovereignty after the U.S. Navy destroyer USS Hopper came within 12 nautical miles of Huangyuan Island, which is subject to a rival claim by the Philippines.

This latest operation occurred just one day after Donald Trump signed a presidential memorandum that will target $60 billion in Chinese goods with tariffs following a 30-day consultation period that will begin once the list of targeted Chinese goods is published. China already warned against this provocative move, urging the U.S. to step away from what it termed as “the brink.”

The move also follows the revelation that the Trump administration signed the Taiwan Travel Act into law. The bill calls for increased high-level visits to Taiwan by U.S. civilian and military leaders. Just last week, Anti-Media released a report predicting that the situation would quietly start to escalate with little more than a blink from the media, which is busy debating gun control, Facebook’s much-needed scrutiny, and anything else that doesn’t involve a potential nuclear holocaust.

In early February, President Trump said he planned to nominate Admiral Harry B. Harris Jr., the commander of the U.S. Pacific Command, as ambassador to Australia. Not long after, Harris was quick to advise Congress to prepare for a war with China in the South China Sea.

Australia has recently been caught in a war of words of its own with China and had plans to send a British warship into the South China Sea earlier this month, as well.

It might sound simplistic, but Washington’s concern with the area and rationale for risking an all-out confrontation is about one thing: money. China’s use of the South China sea attracts approximately $5 trillion in ship-borne trade every year, according to Reuters.

All that is preventing China from injecting itself into the rest of the global market eastward through the Pacific Ocean is a chain of islands known as the “first island chain,” an island chain that includes the Kuril Islands of Russia, the Japanese archipelago, Taiwan, the northern Philippines, and Borneo. America has blocked China through its control of these islands and with the help of its allies on the ground, but this has recently started to change.

Since August last year, China has had an incursion of its own into the area, flying bombers and intelligence aircraft near these southern outlying islands of Japan. Russia, a stalwart ally of China, is also looking to build a naval base in the area even though control of the islands in question continues to be a point of dispute between Japan and Russia. It seems likely that Russia’s military presence will only aid China’s regional ambitions — as opposed to presenting a buffer to it — as the two nuclear powers often view U.S. hegemony through the same lens. Further complicating this issue, in February of this year, 2,000 Russian troops held military exercises on the Southern Kurils, irking Japan in the process.

Clearly, things are building up for a reason, though one would be hard-pressed to find any mainstream media outlet that pays this story the amount of coverage it deserves.
