Sanders vs. Biden, een strijd die door de media, de grote bedrijven en de Democratische Partij werd gewonnen

Sanders gooide onlangs de handdoek in de ring, waardoor we nu met Trump zitten, een fascistisch psychopathische president die opgaat voor nog een termijn en met Biden, de Democratische kandidaat, die zowel (als Trump) oorlogsmisdadiger is, er al een paar decennia lang een neoliberale agenda op na houdt* en die als Trump intussen ook wordt beschuldigd van verkrachting...... Voorts moet gezegd worden dat Biden, gezien zijn optreden de laatste maanden minstens de indruk wekte dementerend te zijn, vanmorgen nog hoorde ik deze hufter spreken over Sanders die zijn campagne steunt, wat een geklungel, je krijgt zwaar de indruk dat hij niet weet wat te zeggen...........

Caitlin Johnstone schreef een artikel over deze zaak, waarin ze uitlegt hoe het mogelijk is dat we met 2 van dit soort kandidaten zitten, dus met Biden en Trump. Van de geheime dienst die van Sanders een Russische kandidaat maakte, tot de top van de Democratische Partij die o.a. in de vorm van Obama zelfs nog op de avond voor Super Tuesday de campagne van Sanders saboteerde..... Zo werden de plannen van Sanders voor onderwijs (o.a. studeren zo goed als gratis maken), een zorgverzekering voor elke inwoner van de VS en bestrijding van de enorme armoede in de VS, als een plan van een waanzinnige voorgesteld, het zou allemaal niet te betalen zijn........ 

Het voorgaande terwijl men er geen probleem mee heeft dat de VS intussen: -meer dan 730 miljard uitgeeft aan oorlogsvoering, -kapitalen aan subsdie spendeert voor de winning van schaliegas en -olie, -de geldpersen constant aan heeft staan, om zo te pogen de aandelenkoersen op peil te houden...... Om nog maar te zwijgen over de gigantische hoeveelheden belastinggeld die naar grote bedrijven gaan, o.a. naar landbouw en veeteelt, steenkool winning en de kapitalen die worden gespendeerd aan wapenfabrikanten in de breedste zin van het woord..... Dan is er nog een hele berg aan belastinginkomsten verdwenen, daar de Trump administratie de belastingen voor grote bedrijven en de welgestelden fiks heeft verlaagd…...

Hoe is het mogelijk dat de achterban van Trump maar in hem blijft geloven, waar hij hen intussen op enorme schaal heeft besodemieterd en in feite tegen hun belang handelt..... Daar is maar één antwoord op te geven: de reguliere (massa-) media in de VS hersenspoelen de bevolking dusdanig dat ze geloven belang te hebben bij kandidaten als Trump en Biden (2 psychopathische totaal-idioten van partijen die amper van elkaar verschillen, daar zou met Sanders als president een eind aan zijn gekomen dat is zeker, ook al zou hij veel tegenwind hebben gekregen)

So as of right now it's Trump versus Biden. An incompetent plutocrat president selling himself as an anti-establishment people's champion while simultaneously advancing garden variety Republican sociopathy, versus a warmongering authoritarian who is too demented to string a coherent sentence together and who is looking more and more credibly to be a rapist.

Needless to say, this is absolute bullshit.

How did we get here? How did we get to the point where the electoral contest to run the most powerful government on the planet is between a racist demented right-wing authoritarian warmongering rapist and another racist demented right-wing authoritarian warmongering rapist? How in the hell did this bullshit happen?

There are a number of factors, including anonymous and unsubstantiated "leaks" from the US intelligence community regarding Russian support for the Bernie Sanders campaign and a shockingly coordinated maneuver by Democratic Party leadership (including former president Obama) to sabotage Sanders in the late hours before Super Tuesday.

But the primary factor by far was domestic mass media propaganda. Propaganda during the primary season of course, with the billionaire press showing a very clear and undeniable bias against Bernie Sanders from the very beginning of the race. Had the Sanders campaign received a normal quality and quantity of mass media coverage for a candidate of his stature, he would doubtless have received far more support than he did. To deny that biased media messaging has an effect would be the same as denying that advertising, a trillion-dollar industry, has an effect.

But it goes so very much deeper than that. The influence of mass media propaganda upon the Democratic primary race was not limited to the propaganda that was employed during the actual contest; it's been setting the foundation for it since long before that.

Without having been raised in a media environment that is saturated with establishment propaganda, it would never occur to anyone in a million years to describe a violent authoritarian extremist like Joe Biden as a "moderate". It would never occur to anyone to think of this crazy wingnut as "electable". It would certainly never occur to anyone that he should be running on the platform of what passes for America's political left wing.

Joe Biden has been a horrible, evil politician since long before his rape allegations went mainstream and his brain started turning to porridge. If people could gaze with fresh, unmanipulated eyes upon someone who's dedicated his entire political career to neoliberal exploitation at home and neoconservative mass murder abroad, someone who openly boasts about authoring the foundational documents of the USA PATRIOT Act, someone who promises rich donors that "nothing fundamentally will change" if he's elected and who they know from experience can be taken at his word, it would never occur to them that this is someone who should be running for any elected office anywhere, let along within spitting distance of the most powerful one in the world.

It is only by the ability of the mass media to manufacture the illusion of normality that this bullshit has been made possible. The way the plutocratic class controls the mass media has given them the ability to persuade people to believe that freakish extremism is normal and healthy objections to oligarchic malfeasance is freakish extremism.

This is the case not just with this bullshit US presidential race, but with all bullshit everywhere. A world where powerful governments attack, destroy, starve and undermine weaker governments which refuse to bow to their interests, a world where the wealthy continue to steal more and more wealth from an increasingly impoverished working class and use the leverage that wealth gets them to steal more, a world where governments demand more and more opacity for themselves and more and more transparency from ordinary people, a world where police are becoming increasingly militarized and speech is becoming increasingly restricted, a world where the response to a global pandemic is not to rally together and overcome but to advance pre-existing authoritarian agendas and manufacture support for new cold war escalations against China.

None of this bullshit would have been possible without all of us having been raised in an atmosphere of mass-scale obfuscation and manipulation. None of us would ever accept such a world without having been manipulated into it, which is why they have done exactly that.

We will not collectively use the power of our numbers to force a change to this oppressive status quo until we can find some way to break free of our psychic bondage to the establishment propaganda machine, and we will not find a way to do that until we change something deep within ourselves about our relationship as a species to mental narrative.

But as things get increasingly weird and unpredictable, gaps will open up in our preexisting patterns. When patterns degrade to the point of unpredictability, anything becomes possible.

We are at an adapt-or-die point as a species, and we'll need to break free of the bullshit to make the jump. Hell, we just might make it.

De soap die de Democratische voorverkiezingen in de VS nu al zijn geworden, zeker 'nadat een app niet zou werken' (wat de tegenstanders van Sanders wel erg goed uitkwam....), wordt vervolgd door Biden die het slecht deed bij die verkiezingen.... Biden dreigde met een rechtszaak en wou daarmee dat de resultaten van de verkiezingen niet bekend zouden worden gemaakt.... Sanders daarentegen was uiteraard voor het zo snel mogelijk bekendmaken van de resultaten en ook hij dreigde even een zaak te beginnen, het was dan ook vrijwel zeker dat Sanders deze verkiezingen had gewonnen........

Zou het inderdaad tot zaken hebben geleid, zouden deze deze waarschijnlijk het hele jaar hebben geduurd, zeker tot de verkiezingen a.s. november en dat zou in het nadeel zijn van Sanders, die al een groot voordeel kwijtraakte door het geklungel met stemmen tellen en de gegevens doorgeven.... De winnaar van de verkiezingen in Iowa had met de winst opzak een mooie speech kunnen houden waarin hij/zij het volk zijn/haar beleid als president kan voorhouden, echter die speech had op de verkiezingsavond gegeven moeten worden........

Vandaag werd bekend gemaakt dat Buttigieg de verkiezingen heeft gewonnen, hoewel hij heel wat minder stemmen kreeg dan Sanders, het meer dan achterlijke systeem in de VS wijst alsnog Buttigieg aan als winnaar...... Volkomen terecht heeft Sanders de winst opgeëist en nogmaals terecht niet op een hertelling aangedrongen, immers daarmee zou men hem hebben gezien als een slechte verliezer en dat kost altijd een fiks aantal stemmen bij de volgende voorverkiezingen....... 

Biden zou zoals gezegd de resultaten zo lang mogelijk hebben willen tegenhouden, daar deze in zijn nadeel zijn, daarom heeft hij geëist eerst een volledige uitleg te krijgen over wat er fout is gegaan tijdens deze voorverkiezingen, voordat de resultaten bekend worden gemaakt...... Als je ziet 'hoe snel' de rechterlijke molen in de VS draait, is het geen wonder dat de uitkomst van die rechtszaak pas in november te verwachten zou zijn geweest.......

Biden is echt een heel smerige viezerik, die overigens hetzelfde heeft gedaan als Trump: de Oekraïense president onder druk zetten zijn openbaar aanklager terug te fluiten, voordat het land weer wapens uit de VS zou krijgen..... Deze openbaar aanklager onderzocht het bedrijf waar zijn zoon werkte, t.w. Burisma, waar deze Hunter Biden betrokken zou zijn geweest bij witwassen en andere misdadige praktijken, terwijl hij in dit arme land een salaris verdiende van 50.000 dollar per maand!!!

Het is voor de wereld te hopen dat Sanders de presidentsverkiezingen wint, kan men over de wereld eindelijk weer ademhalen, echter ik ben bang dat Trump weer zal winnen, zeker na de domme impeachment poging van de Democraten, die alleen de achterban van Trump heeft versterkt, een achterban die Trump nog zou steunen als zou blijken dat hij inderdaad kinderen heeft misbruikt bij zijn bezoeken aan Epstein........ De Democraten wisten van te voren dat de Republikeinen in de Senaat tegen de impeachment van Trump zouden stemmen, bovendien hadden ze kunnen weten dat het de grote achterban van Trump niet kan bommen wat hij heeft gedaan, als hij maar blijft liegen dat de VS het beste land ter wereld is..... Onder die achterban zelfs een aantal mensen, die afhankelijk zijn van voedselbonnen, waar Trump ook nog eens het mes in wil zetten.........

Biden was niet alleen de grote verliezer van de voorverkiezingen in Iowa, maar nu heeft hij ook nog eens zijn rechtszaak niet gekregen, ofwel dubbel verlies voor deze oorlogsmisdadiger (onder Obama was hij verantwoordelijk voor de illegale oorlogsvoering van de VS).

Beste bezoeker, vergeet de komende tijd niet dat de top van de Democratische Partij Sanders niet als volgende president wil zien, liever zien ze Trump nog 4 jaar regeren.... Trump liet overigens weten dat wat hem betreft hij ook de verkiezingen van 2024, 2028 en 2032 zal winnen.... Ofwel hij wil de grondwet aanpassen, volgens velen was e.e.a. een grap, maar gezien de totale gekte en zelfoverschatting van deze psychopathische oorlogsmisdadiger, zou het me niet bevreemden als hij het kiessysteem in de VS wil aanpassen, zodat hij als president meer dan 2 termijnen kan dienen.......

(ZH) — The Democratic candidates appear to be headed for an epic court battle to determine who won the Iowa caucus – a court battle that could potentially outlast the entire primary season and ensure that the real winner of Iowa (cough – Bernie Sanders – cough) is never revealed.

Following a morning of grumblings and whispers among the five campaigns – Warren, Klobuchar, Biden, Buttigieg and Sanders – the Biden campaign has sent a letter to the Iowa Democratic Party (IDP) warning them that Biden is ready to take the issue of who actually won the primary all the way to the Supreme Court.

Biden campaign general counsel Dana Remus sent a letter to top Iowa party officials demanding “full explanations and relevant information” about the abysmal breakdown of the Dems support-tallying app.

The letter noted that both the primary system for counting votes – the app made by mysterious Bond-villain wannabe SHADOW – and the backup system – telephonically phoning in results – failed. Now, caucus chairs, the leaders of each individual caucus district, are attempting to report results via telephone to the party brass, but many of them aren’t getting through.

But here’s the kicker: The Biden campaign would like a “full explanation” of what happened before the results are released.

That little detail shows exactly what the Biden campaign is getting at. His team is clearly aware that the chaos benefited all of the centrists still in the running – Buttigieg, Biden and Klobuchar – while hurting Sanders (believed to be the real winner) and Warren.

The letter was sent before a Tuesday morning conference call between the IDP and the campaigns. During the call, the party said they would report half of the results at 5 pm ET (4 pm local time). There were reportedly many objections to this plan on the call. We imagine most of those objections came from the Buttigieg and Biden camps.

As Nate Silver explains, if the results aren’t released immediately, the winners will be robbed of the post-Iowa bump, giving the moderates in the race a ‘mulligan’.

Other reports claim Bernie campaign staffers went around recording vote totals at many Iowa precincts – unbeknownst to the party machine. When their early tallies didn’t match the recorded results from campaign workers, his campaign sent 5 lawyers to complain.

I am now hearing that the Sanders campaign sent workers to every caucus to record the live results.

Biden just needs to stay in the game until we get to South Carolina, where Sanders is weakest. Meanwhile, political talking heads are talking about how this incident could rob Iowa of its first-in-the-nation status. But if a legal battle erupts, Biden wins by default: A delay in releasing the Iowa results is a win for Biden and Buttigieg, and a huge problem for Bernie – at least in theory.

In reality, his campaign now has plenty of ammunition to revive the narrative that the primary has been rigged against him – much to the consternation of party loyalists.

Robert Bridge schreef een artikel op SCF (door mij overgenomen van Information Clearing House) waarin hij de draak steekt met de mediaorgaan Bloomberg en de Democraten in de VS. Boven de kop meende Bridge te moeten zeggen dat het om satire gaat, daar hij anders wel eens serieus zou kunnen worden genomen en inderdaad sinds de presidentsverkiezingen van 2016 lijkt heel de VS wel knettergek....... (hoewel, sinds 2016, of moeten we niet veel verder terug?)

Bloomberg berichtte dat er onderzoek wordt gedaan of Rusland bezig is met het besmeuren van Joe Biden vanwege zijn rol en die van zijn zoon, in een witwas schandaal met de firma Burisma waarvoor zijn zoon werkte en gezien de staat van de economie in Oekraïne het meer dan waanzinnige bedrag van 50.000 dollar per maand verdiende......* 

Alsof Biden en zijn zoon niet mans genoeg zijn geweest in het besmeuren van de eigen naam, Joe Biden gaf NB toe dat hij Oekraïne onder druk had gezet met de mededeling dat VS wapenhulp wel eens zou kunnen worden teruggedraaid als het de openbaar aanklager die onderzoek deed naar de witwaspraktijken van Hunter Biden niet ontslagen zou worden, (nogmaals:) Hunter Biden die voor een achterlijk hoog salaris werkte voor Burisma...... Anders gezegd: het strafrechtelijk onderzoek naar Hunter Biden (dat volkomen terecht werd ingesteld) moest worden stopgezet daar Oekraïne anders wapenhulp van de VS kon vergeten..... 

Uiteraard heeft Joe Biden nooit openlijk toegegeven dat de openbaar aanklager moest worden ontslagen daar hij onderzoek deed naar zijn zoon, nee de openbaar aanklager zou niet geschikt zijn geweest om corruptie te onderzoeken.......

Bridge heeft een hoogst humoristisch stuk geschreven over deze zaak, waarin hij de Democraten die nu al denken dat ze de verkiezingen in november zullen verliezen, volkomen belachelijk maakt.... De impeachment procedure die de Democraten hebben ingesteld tegen Trump kost hen vrijwel zeker het presidentschap en als in 2016 wil men daar anderen de schuld van geven, zoals destijds is Rusland nu al de klos.......* 

De hele Russiagate zaak is een flop geworden en toch houden de Democraten en de reguliere VS media aan de kant van de Democraten (inclusief zo ongeveer de hele reguliere westerse pers buiten de VS) Rusland schuldig aan het verlies van oorlogsmisdadiger Clinton..... Rusland zou met het 'waanzinnige budget' van 100.000 dollar de verkiezingen in 2016 hebben gemanipuleerd ten gunste van Trump, waar dit bedrag volkomen in het niet valt vergeleken met de honderden miljoenen die werden uitgegeven aan die verkiezingen........

January 16, 2020 "Information Clearing House" -  I suppose it is necessary, considering the bleak and humorless times we live in, to immediately start by acknowledging that the headline is meant as satire, what Webster defines as a form of “ridicule to expose and criticize people’s stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.”

In other words, nyet, the Kremlin does not have a hotline to the American brain that can trigger card-carrying Democrats to enter a catatonic trance on Election Day and vote against Joe Biden, or any of the other flawless Democratic gems for that matter. By this time, especially following the release of the Mueller Report, you would think that conspiracy theories involving Russia and American democracy would have subsided; instead they’ve only escalated as the U.S. enters the hot end of the 2020 presidential election campaign.

Part of the inquiry is to determine whether Russia is trying to weaken Biden by promoting controversy over his past involvement in U.S. policy toward Ukraine while his son worked for an energy company there.”

So how exactly does Russia, in a scene straight out of A Clockwork Orange, tap into the frontal lobe section of the U.S. electorate and cause them to lose all confidence in their political favorites?

“A signature trait of Russian President Vladimir Putin ‘is his ability to convince people of outright falsehoods,’ William Evanina, director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC), said in a statement. ‘In America, [the Russians are] using social media and many other tools to inflame social divisions, promote conspiracy theories and sow distrust in our democracy and elections.’”

Yes, somehow those dastardly Russians have outsmarted the brightest and best-paid political strategists in Washington, D.C. by brandishing what amounts to some really persuasive memes over social media, and for just rubles on the dollar. The techies at Wired went so far as to call this epic assault on the fragile American cranium, “meme warfare to divide America.” By way of evidence, it cited a very creative meme that screamed, “F*CK THE ELECTIONS,” which was intended, as the ironclad argument goes, to cause a number of impressionable Americans to throw up their hands in a fit of collective exasperation and say, ‘Ok, that’s it. I’m staying at home on Election Day.’

Yes, it’s really that easy! Imagine all the money the Russians and their radical new political technologies could have saved guys like casino tycoon, Sheldon Adelson, who showered the Trump campaign with $100 million dollars.

Many of those divisive Russian messages wormed their way onto Facebook, purportedly, where God only knows how many voter brains’ turned to maggots and mush just staring at them. Yet one individual who actually recalls seeing one or two of these dangerous memes was Rob Goldman, former Vice President for Advertising on Facebook, who revealed via Twitter, another infected social media platform, some interesting information:

“Most of the coverage of Russian meddling involves their attempt to effect the outcome of the 2016 U.S. election. I have seen all of the Russian ads and I can say very definitively that swaying the election was *NOT* the main goal.”

Clearly, Goldman seems to have been under the sway of some folk Russian brainwashing technique, probably passed down from the time of Rasputin. In any case, Donald Trump himself took great satisfaction from that particular revelation, retweeting it to his millions of minions.

Russia, the gift that keeps on giving

Not only have the Democrats been able to use the Russia bogeyman as their excuse for losing the White House in 2016, they are able to summon this distant nuclear power whenever they wish to curb internet freedoms, which is pretty much every day now.

Now, fun-loving memes are under attack and may soon go the way of the DoDo bird (“A small office of Russian trolls could derail 241 years of U.S. political history with a handful of dank memes and an advertising budget that would barely buy you a billboard in Brooklyn,” screamed insanely The Guardian). At the same time, the freedom of speech is getting destroyed by vapid accusations of ‘hate speech,’ which, unless used to incite violence, is a totally meaningless term used to eliminate any conversation that is undesirable to the elite.

Meanwhile, only the mainstream media these days are permitted to dabble in ‘conspiracy theories’ even as their own false narratives have contributed to the pulverization of entire nations, as was the case in Iraq, for example, which sustained a full-blown U.S. military invasion in 2003 following debunked claims that Saddam Hussein was harboring weapons of mass destruction. That was the mother of all conspiracy theories that was pushed unchallenged by the mainstream media.

So back to Joe Biden.

Do intelligent Americans really need help from Russia to prove that just maybe the former Vice President is mentally and physically unfit to stand for the White House? Probably not. From whispering sweet nothings into the ears of any female within groping distance, to sucking on his wife’s fingertips at a political rally, something just doesn’t seem altogether right upstairs with Joe Biden. So what is the real story for dragging Russia, once again, into the internal swamp pit known as Washington, D.C.?

The Bloomberg article provides a big hint: “This time around, the narrative about Biden and Ukraine is … well-publicized and being advanced by Trump, his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and the president’s Republican allies in Congress.”

And that “narrative” has everything to do with not only the Democrats’ frozen impeachment proceedings against the U.S. leader, which promises to have major connections to Ukraine, Joe Biden and his son Hunter, and quite possibly dozens of other top Democrats. In other words, the Democrats understand that pushing ahead with impeachment could be their ultimate downfall.

Although few Americans seem to remember that back in May of 2019, Trump granted U.S. Attorney General William Barr “full and complete authority” to investigate exactly how claims that Trump was ‘conspiring with the Kremlin’ in the 2016 presidential election had originated, the Democrats certainly have not.

Their bogus ‘Russian collusion’ claim provided the rationale for a four-year-long ‘witch hunt’ that began when the Democrats, relying on the flimsy findings contained in the so-called ‘Steele dossier, managed to get approval from the FISA court to spy on the Trump campaign. Now, some top-ranking Democrats – never imagining Hillary Clinton would actually lose in 2016 – are understandably nervous as to what Barr and his assistant, federal attorney John Durham will divulge to the public in the coming months.

With so much riding on the line in 2020, is anyone surprised that Bloomberg, the news affiliate owned and operated by Democratic contender Michael Bloomberg, is now reporting “U.S. officials are warning that Russia’s election interference in 2020 could be more brazen than in the 2016 presidential race or the 2018 midterm election.”

In other words, the racist ploy used by Democrats to explain their monumental defeat in 2016 did not end with the Mueller Report. The conspiracy theory, promulgated by a media that is in effect just another branch of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), is being primed to explain not only possible criminal charges aimed at top Democrats in the coming months, but how Democrats, like Michael Bloomberg, failed once again to beat the seemingly unstoppable incumbent, Donald Trump.
