131 federale rechters VS corrupt: aan dat land levert Nederland zelfs eigen burgers uit.....

In een Wall Street Journal artikel van afgelopen week worden 131 federale rechters beschuldigd van corruptie, in zaken die zij behandelden hadden ze zelf of familie van hen aandelen, terwijl rechters in dergelijke gevallen de zaak aan een andere rechter moeten overdragen, ofwel deze rechters hebben zich in feite schuldig gemaakt aan corruptie!!

De Democratische Senator Elizabeth Warren en de Democratisch afgevaardigde in het lagerhuis Pramila Jayapal hebben John Roberts, het hoofd van de rechterlijke macht van de federale overheid, tevens opperrechter van het hooggerechtshof, gevraagd of deze wel genoeg heeft gedaan om e.e.a. te voorkomen en ethische regels heeft afgedwongen. De vraag stellen is haar beantwoorden, al zal Roberts wel met een lamlendig excuus komen en op zo'n manier dat men hem juridisch weinig of niets kan maken......

Nederland levert nog steeds mensen uit aan de VS, ook Nederlandse burgers....... De VS het land waar je in veel zaken, zelfs als je onschuldig bent, beter kan zeggen dat je de dader bent om een lange straf te voorkomen, plea bargain noemt men dat en dat is een manier van 'rechtspreken' dat niets meer met dat begrip te maken heeft......  

De VS een land waar de doodstraf nog steeds wordt uitgevoerd en ook al heeft Biden de federale doodstraf weer in de koelkast gezet, zou deze bij een volgende president zo weer van kracht worden verklaard (de volgende president: wellicht de republikeinse psychopathische fascist Trump)......

De VS waar de niet federale gevangenissen in handen zijn van beursgenoteerde bedrijven, die er alle belang bij hebben dat er zoveel mogelijk mensen worden veroordeeld er is dan ook geen land op de wereld dat zoveel gevangenen heeft als de VS, daarnaast worden er in VS gevangenissen 80.000 mensen in isolatiefolter gehouden en dat in veel gevallen meer dan 2 jaar, er zijn zelfs gevallen bekend van mensen die al meer dan 10 jaar in isolatiefolter worden gehouden..... Mensen isoleren is een ernstige vorm van martelen waaraan iedereen die dit ondergaat grote psychische schade oploopt....... 

Nu blijkt ten overvloede nog eens dat rechters in de VS het niet zo nauw nemen met de wet, wat moet je verwachten van zo'n rechter als het om rechtspraak gaat?? Juist, dan krijg je kromspraak!!

Hoe is het in godsnaam mogelijk dat Nederland nog steeds mensen uitlevert aan deze mensenrechtenschendende, fascistoïde politiestaat??!!! Rechters en ministers die dit in het verleden hebben toegestaan zouden strafrechtelijk vervolgd moeten worden!!

Condemning 'Stunning' Ethics Violations, Warren and Jayapal Demand Answers on US Judges With Financial Conflicts

Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Rep. Pramila Jayapal demanded answers on Thursday from U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts in response to a report that hundreds of federal judges had failed to recuse themselves from cases in which they had financial conflicts.

 

In a letter to Roberts, Reuters reported, the Democratic lawmakers questioned whether Roberts had done enough in his role as the presiding officer of the Judicial Conference of the United States to uphold the integrity of the federal judiciary and enforce ethic rules.

 

Warren and Jayapal cite a Wall Street Journal report that revealed 131 judges failed to recuse themselves from cases involving companies in which they or their family members owned stock—a scope of ethics violations the lawmakers called "stunning."

 

The letter cites legal precedents from the code of conduct that require judges to recuse themselves from all cases where financial interest is involved, calling the extensive ethic breaches, at least in part, "a direct result of the inadequate processes for judicial accountability."

 

"These conflicts of interest have affected hundreds of cases and the integrity of the justice system," the letter reads.

 

The letter references other instances in which Supreme Court justices similarly did not recuse themselves from cases despite potential financial conflicts, including through ownership of individual stock, as further evidence of a "systemic failure that requires accountability."

 

Warren and Jayapal argued that their comprehensive ethics legislation—the Anti-Corruption & Public Integrity Act—if passed—would close the large gaps in the U.S. judicial ethics system by requiring public release of disclosure reports, overhauling the recusal system, and barring judges from owning individual stocks.

 

While emphasizing that Congress should pass those reforms, the lawmakers added that "a decisive response from the judiciary is urgent and necessary."

 

They asked Roberts to provide information on why the 131 judges failed to disqualify themselves and what actions the judiciary was taking in response to the report.

 

"Over 131 judges violated federal law and ethics rules by overseeing cases in which they had personal financial interests," Warren tweeted. "Rep. Pramila Jayapal and I want answers from Chief Justice Roberts about what he's doing in response to uphold the integrity of the judiciary."

Gisteren heb ik toevallig al geschreven over de ruzie die in de Democratische Partij is uitgebroken na de presidentsverkiezingen*, die wat betreft het congres desastreus zijn verlopen voor de Democraten, zo bezien hebben de Democraten niet alleen geen meerderheid weten te behalen in de senaat, maar verliezen ze ook de meerderheid in het huis van afgevaardigden (het lager huis), waarmee de Republikeinen het congres in haar geheel beheersen en het Biden zeer moeilijk kunnen maken om te kunnen regeren zonder presidentiële decreten..... (echter er volgt op 5 januari 2021 nog een  senaatsverkiezing in Georgia, als Biden die verliest is hij de sjaak)

In eerste instantie heeft de Democratische neoliberale top de schuld voor deze zaak neergelegd bij de progressieven in de partij of zoals men in de VS zegt 'links', helaas voor hen volkomen tevergeefs daar de progressieve of linkse krachten uit de Democratische Partij het juist wel goed hadden gedaan en werden beloond voor hun Green New Deal en andere zaken waarvoor ze vochten.....

Echter de conservatieve Democraten (bijna zonder uitzondering steenrijk) en Biden, ofwel zijn puppeteers, hebben de macht in de Democratische Partij en willen niets weten van links, zo kunnen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), Bernie Sanders en Elizabeth Warren het wel vergeten wat betreft een vooraanstaande functie in de Biden administratie......*

Erger nog, naar nu blijkt heeft de D.C.C.C., de officiële Democratische campagne tak voor het congres, een zwarte lijst opgesteld met firma's die van de ingeslapen Democratische leden weer springlevende progressieven zouden kunnen maken, waarmee de partij in een volgende verkiezingsronde wel kan scoren in verkiezingen die bepalen wie de macht heeft in het congres........

JusticeDemocrats.com is een actie begonnen om wel meer progressieven in het congres te krijgen, echter ik denk dat dit een verloren wedstrijd is, immers de top heeft de poen en de macht in de partij. Deze figuren maken deals met grote bedrijven, de financiële maffia, de georganiseerde misdadigers van de farmaceuten en natuurlijk niet te vergeten de doodsindustrie van de gewetenloze en moorddadige wapenfabrikanten, bedrijven die voor een fiks deel het regeringsbeleid bepalen (en worden gezien als onderdeel van Deep State.....).....

Er staat de echt linkse leden van de Democraten niets anders te doen dan een nieuwe partij op te zetten en hoe langer men daarmee wacht des te moeilijker zal het hen worden gemaakt!! (althans dat is mijn idee). Hier de petitie van JusticeDemocrats.com, die wij uiteraard niet kunnen tekenen:

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Biden’s Win, House Losses, and What’s Next for the Left (NYT)

In early 2019, the Democratic Party’s official congressional campaign arm (the DCCC) blacklisted consultants and vendors working with progressive primary challengers. Check out this quote about the DCCC blacklist from AOC’s New York Times interview:

“If you are the D.C.C.C., and you’re hemorrhaging incumbent candidates to progressive insurgents, you would think that you may want to use some of those firms. But instead, we banned them. So the D.C.C.C. banned every single firm that is the best in the country at digital organizing.”

This is the DCCC’s priority structure. It would rather protect corporate incumbents and prevent vendors from working with progressive candidates than allow House Democrats to work with some of the best campaign organizers in the country.

Caitlin ziet het als een teruggang in de tijd, vlak voordat de Democraten werden verslagen door Trump.

Terecht merkt Caitlin op dat linkse Democraten nu al moeten beginnen met het verzet tegen de Biden administratie, zoals Biden nu al bezig is om alles wat naar links ruikt en zeker de leiders van de linkse Democraten, Bernie Sanders en Elizabeth Warren buiten zijn regering te houden en alle plannen die ze hadden bij een eventuele verkiezingswinst door de papiervernietiger te halen......

Niet voor niets dat Biden vrouwen aanstelt in zijn administratie, daar dit al als links/progressief wordt gezien door zowel de linkse als de conservatieve (neoliberale) tak van de Democraten (waar de laatsten uiteraard niet zo blij mee zijn)...... Daarbij is Kamala Harris als Biden een oorlogsmisdadiger, zij moet de zwarte bevolking behagen en lokken voor de verkiezingen over 4 jaar en kan door haar recente agressieve geschiedenis rekenen op de steun van de door de Republikeinen beheerste senaat..... Bovendien haalt Biden met Harris ook nog eens een aardig deel van de bevolking binnen die van oorsprong uit Midden- en Zuid-Amerika komt. Kortom '3 vliegen in 1 valse klap......' 

Eigenlijk haalt Biden nog veel meer groepen binnen, daar hij de wapenindustrie al veel winsten heeft beloofd met zijn oorlogstaal tegen Venezuela, Iran en Rusland...... China zal hij noodgedwongen blijven aanpakken daar hij zich anders de woede van werkloze arbeiders en het conservatieve, ofwel neoliberale deel van de Democraten op de hals haalt..... Bovendien heeft aankomend vicepresident Harris al belooft de 'koude oorlog' met China in stand te houden..... (tot groot genoegen van de Republikeinen)

Voorts haalt Caitlin het boek van Obama aan, memoires van zijn presidentschap en de aanloop daartoe, dat nu in de winkels ligt (zal daar later nog een bericht over brengen). Onder andere noemt Caitlin de uitlatingen van Obama over de meer dan belachelijke 'oorlog tegen terreur', waar hij stelt dat hij deze oorlog door George W. Bush begonnen ten volle steunde en nog steunt, terwijl die oorlog juist met grootschalige terreur werd en wordt uitgevoerd en een groot aantal terroristen heeft gekweekt, om nog maar te zwijgen over de 2,5 miljoen doden die dit heeft opgeleverd siunds 2001...... (en dat cijfer is nog buiten de 3.000 mensen die zouden zijn omgekomen bij de aanvallen op de Twin Towers, waarover nu meer dan duidelijk is dat deze werd geregisseerd door de CIA en de NSA.......)

Biden Will Likely Be Worse Than Obama. The Left Must Lead The Backlash, Or The Right Will.

It looks like a safe bet that Joe Biden will be sworn in on January 20th after successfully campaigning on returning the murderous and oppressive Orwellian US empire back to its pre-Trump "normal".

The problem with this, apart from the obvious fact that it was an embarrassingly close victory only made possible by the Covid outbreak, is that returning to the pre-Trump "normal" is returning to the exact positions which created Trump. It's like using a time machine to prevent a train wreck, but only going back to one millisecond before the train wreck occurred.

It is clear that Trump's election was the result of the easily exploited dissatisfaction caused by years of neoliberal austerity at home and neoconservative bloodshed abroad which Obama forcefully expanded and facilitated throughout two terms as president. Trump voters famously defended opting for the reality TV star over the anointed establishment favorite Hillary Clinton as a middle finger to the Beltway orthodoxy which did nothing but enrich the "swamp" Trump pretended to oppose on the campaign trail while ordinary Americans suffered.

And from all appearances it looks like Biden is going to be worse.

Unlike Obama, Biden did not campaign on hope and change, he campaigned on opposing the socialist inclinations of Sanders progressives and an aggressive foreign policy of planetary domination. He assured rich donors that nothing will fundamentally change under his presidency and his transition team is full of corporate sociopaths, war pigs and propagandists. Biden has been a corporatist warmongering authoritarian throughout his entire career, and as his mental capacity continues to deteriorate he will function as nothing more than an empty vessel for his establishment handlers to advance their most pernicious agendas through.

If I prove right about this, the Biden administration will generate backlash just like that which arose in response to the Obama administration, and that backlash will be more severe than its previous iteration. This is absolutely guaranteed. You can only oppress, neglect and enrage a population so much before the discontent begins to grow.

There is absolutely nothing American leftists can do to prevent this backlash from coming. They will have absolutely no say in this administration's policies or behavior; BidenCorp has no reason to listen to them, has made no pretense of having any interest in listening to them, and is even freezing Sanders and Warren out of cabinet roles already.

All US leftists will have any control over is whether this backlash will break to the left, or if it will break to the far right.

Contrary to what many mainstream liberals seem to have been imagining, American racism and far right extremism did not begin with Trump, and will not end with Trump. The white supremacists, xenophobes, ethnonationalists, QAnon cultists and right wing militias are not going anywhere after Biden takes office, and the backlash against his administration and its worst impulses will be inflamed and co-opted by mainstream Republican narrative managers. This will set the stage for something a lot uglier than Trump down the road if it's successful.

What the left can do is get ahead of the game. Take control of the anti-Biden, anti-establishment pushback by leading the charge--sooner, more aggressively, and more compellingly than the far right does. Use the awfulness of the Biden administration to ignite a true leftward zeitgeist in mainstream America that is so strong it eclipses the inevitable rightist backlash in energy and appeal.

We already know the American left has the ability to pull this off. The grassroots, populist support for Bernie Sanders during his two primary campaigns has been one of the most energized and inspired political forces I've ever witnessed, consistently forcing aggressive responses from the establishment narrative managers to contradict the damage it did to their preferred candidates.

The problem with Bernie Twitter and the rest of his powerful support base is that it only exists for a few months at a time, fizzling out when it becomes clear that their candidate has had the door shut to him and then reluctantly diverted into support for the establishment candidate under the guidance of Sanders himself.

The only thing more depressing than watching Bernie Twitter devolve from soaring energy and inspiration to petty sectarianism and infighting is watching it happen a second time.

But imagine if that did not happen. Imagine if the US left realized how extremely urgent it is to control the unavoidable backlash against the Biden/Harris administration so that the right does not and built momentum in a healthy direction instead, not for a few months but for years on end. Seizing every disgusting, ridiculous and hilarious thing this government does and attacking it, lampooning it, mocking it, creating funny and interesting content absolutely wrecking it.

An actual, energized counterculture could be created which could reshape US culture as a whole. The Breitbart crowd recognizes that politics is downstream from culture while the left has generally failed to make this connection, which is arguably why their guy is in the White House right now and the left's guy isn't. A Biden administration will provide ample fodder for attacks against status quo politics, and this can be used to galvanize America's hidden progressive impulses into a movement vastly greater than any one candidate.

But the ball needs to start rolling on this now. Not after the Georgia runoffs, not after Biden takes office, not after the midterms: now. The longer US leftists wait to start pushing this thing forward, the less of a head start you'll have on the rightists while they're fixated on Trump's recounts and legal challenges. You'll only be able to lead the backlash if you get in early and hit the ground running as fast as you can.

If we know anything for certain, it's that US power structures find it infinitely preferable to deal with a right-populist movement that can be appeased by some obnoxious tweets and an 8chan psyop than with real leftist populism. They're more than happy to throw the far right a tax cut and some immigration restrictions, but real revolution can only come from the left. There is an opportunity to create an opening for that to occur, but it needs to happen before this thing can be steered rightward.

I know I'm regarded as a bit of a crackpot in some leftist circles; I'm the girl a lot of lefties read in private but don't share in public. But this is a really important idea that needs to get out there, and I'm hoping it reaches the eyes of some leftist thought leaders who can advance it in their own words in their own way. Joe Biden president, echter de peperdure campagne was zo slecht dat de senaat in handen blijft van de Republikeinen.......

Ondanks dat de Democraten een keer zoveel geld in de campagne hebben gestoken dan de Republikeinen, heeft de partij geen extra zetels in de senaat kunnen bemachtigen, daardoor hebben de Democraten zetels verloren in het Huis van Afgevaardigden...... Ofwel de overmacht die de Democraten tot nu toe hadden in het Huis van Afgevaardigden zijn ze nu ook kwijt......

Kortom het regeren zal Biden zeer moeilijk worden gemaakt......

Ralph Nader schreef een uitgebreid artikel over deze zaak en hij verwijt de Democraten slappe kandidaten te hebben ingezet..... De grote makke is wat mij betreft de afkeer van de Democraten voor wat meer linkse kandidaten, de partij heeft zelfs laten zien geen zin te hebben in een meer sociaal politiek beleid, vandaar ook dat Bernie Sanders de voorverkiezingen niet mocht winnen, precies als 4 jaar geleden gebeurde...... (hetzelfde overkwam Jerremy Corbyn van Labour in Groot-Brittannie, al heeft men van hem de verkiezingen gestolen met de smerige propaganda, zelfs op de zogenaamd onafhankelijke BBC, als zou hij antisemiet zijn*)

Zit nu (gisteravond 18.10 u.) al 20 minuten te luisteren naar CBC Radio One, het getoeter en hysterische geschreeuw is duidelijk op de achtergrond te horen bij het commentaar van ter plekke zijnde verslaggevers. Wat in en in triest dan dat deze mensen denken dat er een aardverschuiving heeft plaatsgevonden met Biden, maar dat ze daar amper de vruchten van zullen plukken........

Oké het is mooi dat een fascistische psychopaat, vrouwenhater, racist, natuurvernietiger, moordenaar van bijzondere dieren** en neoliberale rotschoft is weggestemd, maar nogmaals: wat zullen de gewone VS burgers daarvan merken?? Zeker als je bedenkt dat de neoliberale oorlogsmisdadiger Biden heeft beloofd Venezuela en Iran aan te zullen pakken, ofwel dat worden weer nieuwe illegale oorlogen die grote aantallen mensen het leven zullen kosten en daarbij de al waanzinnige staatsschuld van de VS met gigantische kapitalen zal laten groeien....... (de 'running mate' van Biden, ofwel de nieuwe vicepresident van de VS >> Kamala Harris, heeft al laten weten dat de koude oorlog met China blijvend zal zijn......***)

Biden Has Ousted a Lying and Corrupt Trump—But That Doesn't Mean Democrats Had a Great Election Day

Loaded with nearly twice as much money as the GOP, the Democrats showed that weak candidates with no robust agendas for people where they live, work, and raise their families, is a losing formula.

Apart from barely squeezing through the swing states to defeat corrupt, incompetent, lying, corporatist Donald Trump, the Democratic Party had a bad election.

Loaded with nearly twice as much money as the Republican Party, the Democratic Party showed that weak candidates with no robust agendas for people where they live, work, and raise their families, is a losing formula. And lose they did against the worst, cruelest, ignorant, lawbreaking, reality-denying GOP in its 166-year history.

The Democrats failed to win the Senate, despite nearly having twice the number of Senators up for re-election than the Republicans. In addition, the Democratic Party lost seats in the House of Representatives. The Democrats did not flip a single Republican state legislature, leaving the GOP to again gerrymander Congressional and state legislative districts for the next decade!

"Will all this lead to serious introspection by the Democratic Party? Don’t bet on it. The GOP tried to learn from their losses in 2012, which led to their big rebound. Already, the Democratic Party is looking for scapegoats."

Will the leaders of these inexcusable defeats—Senator Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi—explain how this happened? Will they take some responsibility and tell the American people why they let their profiteering media consultants spend so much money on tepid, low-impact TV ads at the expense of a massive ground game to give voters personal reasons to get themselves out to vote, beyond Trump? A third of all eligible voters stayed home. Could part of the problem be the 15% commission the consultants receive from TV ad revenues as compared to zero commissions from ground game expenditures?

Can the corporate Democratic leaders respond to inquiries by progressives and the sidelined primary voters of Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren? Can they respond to why the living wage, the corporate crime wave, and the GOP blocked stimulus/relief package passed by the Democrats in May (including a $600 a week extension for tens of millions of desperate workers and critical aid to local agencies overwhelmed by the Covid-19 pandemic) were not prominently front and center? Also, why did the Democrats refuse to campaign for full Medicare for All, supported by 70 percent of the American people? The Democrats, as pointed out by political media specialist, Bill Hillsman, did not speak directly to white, blue-collar workers who deserted Hillary Clinton for Donald Trump in 2016.

Moreover, the Democratic Party has a long-standing problem with authenticity. Rhetoric for a large infrastructure jobs program paid for by repealing corporate tax cuts and loopholes is seen as a throwaway line by many voters. Democrats should have explained, at the local level, how determination and integrity could shape the upgrading of our schools, clinics, roads, mass transit systems, waterworks, and other public services, with good-paying jobs.

Meanwhile, the Trumpsters showed their ferocious energy for wannabe, ego-obsessed, dictatorial Donald with more rallies, signs, and door-to-door contacts. The Democrats misread the faulty polls again thinking that the projected huge turnouts were primarily their voters and not also the Trump voters who turned out in greater numbers as well.

Too many Democratic operatives treat Trump with derision and mockery, instead of stressing how his daily lawlessness and serial violations of the Constitution have dismantled the protections for the people and turned the government over to big business to do and grab whatever they want.

Trump openly commits federal crimes (e.g. The Hatch Act, the Anti-Deficiency Act) using federal property, including the White House, for his campaign, spending money illegally, while brazenly defying over a hundred investigative subpoenas from the House of Representatives.

Yet, neither Biden and Obama nor the Democratic Party made these corrupt forms of obstruction of justice, front and center issues. They even ignored Trump’s past criminal assaults of women, whom he has repeatedly degraded.

These many missed, obvious opportunities have consequences. Don’t Trump voters and their families also suffer from frozen minimum wages, from the absence of adequate or any health insurance, from those sky-high drug prices that Trump failed to reduce? He put more toxins in the air and water and allowed more dangerous workplaces. Trump calls endangering people and the planet “deregulation” but what he was really doing is rewarding his corporate paymasters.

Trump just pushes many more buttons than do the Democrats. Why don’t the Democrats promote more unions, more consumer cooperatives, more campaign finance reforms, and more known ways to empower the people directly?

Of course, the Democrats would never argue that the American people, not corporations, should CONTROL what they already OWN such as the public lands, the public airwaves, and the shareholding mutual and pension funds investing their money. The Democrats never even think to demand that U.S. taxpayers get a direct return for trillions of dollars of government research and development that have subsidized the growth of modern industries (from aerospace to computers to agribusiness, biotech, pharma, and more).

While Trump incites street violence and then cries loudly for “law and order,” the Democrats don’t throwback “law and order” for violent, polluting corporate crooks who cheat and harm children, consumers, workers, and communities, as well as rip off government programs like Medicare. Trump has gotten away with defunding the federal corporate crime police big time. Never will the Democrats go after Trump for the bloated, runaway, unaudited military budget and its Empire that are devouring necessities here at home.

The House Democrats refused to keep multiple impeachment pressure (apart from the Ukraine matter) on the Republicans. A national TV audience of the Senate dealing with a dozen of Trump’s impeachable offenses would give even the most ardent Trump supporters pause. (See December 18, 2019, Congressional Record, H-12197).

The Democrats let Trump and his lawless Attorney General William Barr get away with all his corrupt, criminal, and unconstitutional actions, which have turned the White House into an ongoing crime scene. And, despite this “rap sheet” Trump came close to winning the Electoral College for a second term!

Next time, the rulers of the Democratic Party should listen to civic groups and advocates and not be so smug and incommunicado. Now let’s see how many rollbacks and repeals Biden will quickly institute to stop Trump’s devastations and usher in a truly progressive, majoritarian set of long-overdue policies.
