Proud Boys Canada 'officieel ontbonden'

De Proud Boys hebben flinke bekendheid gekregen met hun verzet tegen de Black Lives Matter protesten en de meest in het oog springende actie waar deze fascisten aan meewerkten was de bestorming van het Capitol op 6 januari jl. De Proud Boys tak in Canada heeft de organisatie ontbonden, daar de Canadese overheid de organisatie aanwijst als een terreurorganisatie. De reden tot ontbinding zou zijn dat men geen geld heeft om te procederen tegen het verbieden van de organisatie daar deze zoals gezegd als terreurorganisatie wordt aangemerkt in Canada en daarbij de middelen en eigendommen in beslag kunnen worden genomen en verbeurd kunnen worden verklaard.

In het artikel van Right Wing Watch hieronder, geschreven door Karim Zadan, vraagt deze zich in de kop af of de Proud Boys organisatie niet meer bestaat en daar als antwoord op geeft dat dit wellicht niet zo is..... Wat ik overigens niet wist is dat Gavin McInnes de oprichter van de Proud Boys de Canadese nationaliteit heeft. Uiteraard gaan deze fascisten met hun meer dan belachelijke naam door, het zijn geen jongens en racisme (is wat mij betreft fascisme) is bepaald niet iets om trots op te zijn..... (maar ja daarover 'denken' fascisten en neonazi's anders; al is denken om 't zacht te zeggen niet hun sterkste kant) 

Het is als met de motorbendes die na te zijn verboden onder een andere naam doorgingen. Trouwens over die motorbendes gesproken: als je foto's ziet van deze Proud Boys lijken ze precies op die 'brommerjongens' en inderdaad dat zijn een soort van psychopathisch gewelddadige figuren die nooit volwassen zijn geworden en dat nooit zullen zijn...... Je kan er dan ook donder op zeggen dat het overgrote deel van de Proud Boys deel uitmaakt van motorbendes.

Deze Proud Boys staan pal achter de figuren die het land hebben gekoloniseerd, ofwel de massamoordenaars die de oorspronkelijke bevolking hebben uitgemoord in de grootste genocide ooit..... Toen de Amerika's werden ontdekt bestonden er naar schatting 15 miljoen oorspronkelijke bewoners, die men indianen noemt. Tegen het eind van de 19de eeuw waren daar nog 250.000 mensen van over....... Ofwel die Proud Boys zijn er trots op dat en minstens 14 miljoen mensen werden vermoord om ruimte te maken voor de witte Europeanen...... (zo'n miljoen mensen zijn overleden aan ziekten die de witten meebrachten, ziekten die niet bestonden in de 3 Amerika's......)

Zidan concludeert uiteindelijk dat deze Proud Boys zullen blijven bestaan, niet alleen daar bepaalde groepen zich niet gebonden voelen aan het opheffen van de organisatie, of dat men onder een andere naam door zal gaan, maar vooral door een soort van leus die de Proud Boys gebruiken: 'Ideas cannot be legislated and our fire will never be extinguished.' (ideeën kunnen niet worden onderworpen aan wetgeving en ons vuur zal nooit worden geblust.

Are the Proud Boys Finished in Canada? Maybe Not

Analysis

On Sunday, Proud Boys Canada released a statement claiming that the organization has “officially dissolved.

In the release, leaders of the Canadian branch of the organization stated that the group reached the decision to disband after Canada’s Liberal government designated it a terrorist organization following the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection. Proud Boys Canada’s inclusion on the list meant that the group’s assets and property are subject to seizure or forfeiture. While the group claimed that the terrorist designation was “not based on evidence or incident,” they admitted that they would not be able to pursue a legal case against the government because they have “no financial support.”

“We were never terrorists or a white supremacy group,” read the statement posted on Telegram via the official Proud Boys channel. “We are just regular patriotic Canadians. We are electricians, carpenters, financial advisors, mechanics, etc. … In the face of a tyrannical leftist government, we regular citizens were banned and outlawed for holding the same beliefs as the men who built this country.”

Despite the group’s apparent demise, there is reason to believe that Proud Boys Canada will continue to operate in some form. Several local chapters of the Proud Boys have already rejected the official statement, adding that regional chapters were independent and were free to make their own decisions. Other members may splinter off into different groups or even join up with existing groups in the far-right landscape. These concerns beg the question: Are the Proud Boys truly finished in Canada?

Founded in 2016, the Proud Boys began as a male-only organization that promoted “Western chauvinism” and challenged political correctness. The group originated in both the U.S. and Canada and was founded by Gavin McIness, a Canadian citizen who grew up in Ottawa, Ontario. Within the first year of the group’s existence, the Proud Boys made national headlines in Canada when five Canadian Armed Forces officers—all of whom were members of the Proud Boys Halifax chapter—interrupted an Indigenous protest ceremony on Canada Day. The five men were dressed in black polo shirts (a style that would soon become synonymous with the group) and carried posters with slogans such as “West is Best” and a Red Ensign flag, Canada’s predecessor to the maple leaf standard that symbolizes the nation today.

Over the next few years, dozens of Proud Boys chapters sprouted across Canada, and in cities including Toronto, Montreal, Manitoba, Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary. They participated in public rallies and protests, where they became known for “confrontational and at times violent tactics,” according to a report by the Canadian Armed Forces. However, while Proud Boys chapters continued to operate across Canada, they did not garner the media attention that their American counterparts did nor did they appear to be as extreme as some of the U.S. factions.

In the wake of the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, the vast majority of online platforms associated with the Canadian branches of the Proud Boys went dark. The Edmonton Proud Boys website, which was used for recruitment purposes, also went offline as reports emerged that prominent Proud Boys members, including the leader of the Proud Boys Hawaii chapter, were allegedly involved in the insurrection. Then on Jan. 12, the Proud Boys faction in Manitoba disbanded due to “differences between our autonomous chapter’s values and how the name is perceived.”

“Although we as an organization have always been opposed to political violence, the recent events in the United States have made it impossible for us to continue,” the group said in an email sent to Global News. “With solid leadership and a proper code of conduct internationally The Proud Boys could have been a great thing.”

Within a matter of weeks, Canada’s public safety minister, Bill Blair, announced that the Proud Boys and two neo-Nazi networks, Atomwaffen and The Base, had been added to Canada’s terror entity list. While the move was celebrated as a symbolic gesture affirmed Canada’s opposition to domestic extremism as well as a death blow to the organization, it could also embolden its former members outraged by the group’s dissolution to join other far-right entities or form new groups.

Prior to the Proud Boys’ terrorist designation, a group of former Proud Boy members splintered off from the organization and formed a pro-terrorist group known as Canada First. As reported by the Canadian Anti-Hate Network, the group has emerged as a violent neo-Nazi accelerationist movement that “calls for the removal and elimination — through violent means —  of Jews, feminists, LGBTQIA2S+ people, Black people, Muslims and anyone not white.” The group also sought to target journalists that were critical of their activities.

The Canada First group became active in October 2020, recruiting members and producing propaganda flyers that were distributed across the country, including Ontario and as far west as Vancouver Island. They remain active and are considered to be one of the most extreme groups operating in Canada.

While it is unlikely that the Proud Boys will regain footing in Canada under that brand name, its offshoots such as Canada First remain significant threats to Canadian society. And given that several Proud Boys chapters in Canada have rejected the official dissolution of the group, it is also possible that some chapters will continue to operate autonomously. Others may splinter off into new groups, all of which helps grow the far-right ecosystem within Canada. Even the official Proud Boys group seemed to hint that the group will continue to live on in some form.

“Many will champion and celebrate this decision by the Canadian Proud Boys but this fight for liberty is far from over,” read the official Proud Boys statement on Telegram. “Ideas cannot be legislated and our fire will never be extinguished.”

Terwijl de wereld hysterisch reageert op de gebeurtenissen die gisteren plaatsvonden op Capital Hill, misbruiken meerdere politici en reguliere mediaorganen deze om te pleiten voor censuur op het net en de sociale media. Zo ook D66 kwaadaardigheid Sigrid Kaag die als was ze al premier van Nederland de gebeurtenissen in Washington veroordeelde en vanmorgen in bedekte termen op BNR na 8.00 u. pleitte voor censuur toen ze stelde dat we op moeten passen voor het woordgebruik op de sociale media....... Vergeet niet dat haar minister en partijcollega Ollongren, de gesel van de Nederlandse huurders, meermaals naar (echt) linkse mensen in ons land, dus niet van PvdA, GL of SP, heeft gewezen als zijnde Russische trollen, die niet de kans zouden moeten hebben de mening van het publiek te beïnvloeden, zo waarschuwde deze oplichter en grootlobbyist voor het neoliberalisme en het bedrijfsleven ook voor manipulatie van verkiezingen in ons land door Russische trollen......

Zoals gezegd misplaatste hysterie over de gebeurtenissen in Washington, immers als je een beetje het nieuws in de gaten hebt gehouden al van voor de presidentsverkiezingen en zeker daarna, heeft Trump meermaals aangegeven dat hij zich het presidentschap niet af zou laten nemen door gestoken en daarmee gestolen verkiezingen, geen woord Spaans in te ontdekken..... Het voorgaande zeker als je weet dat zijn aanhangers voor een flink deel lid zijn van bewapende milities, die maar een paar woorden nodig hebben om in opstand te komen..... Neem de gewelddadige fascistische groep die zich Proud Boys noemt en die Trump maande waakzaam te zijn nadat de leden in Washington en elders geweld gebruikten tegen vreedzame demonstranten van Black Lives Matter (BLM)...... Vooral de reguliere media moeten zich schamen als ze zeggen totaal verrast te zijn door de gebeurtenissen van gisteren......

Gisteravond werd het Oog op Morgen op Radio1 verlengd vanwege de gebeurtenissen en donderde bijna van m'n stoel toen ik een correspondent in de VS hoorde zeggen dat hij niets begreep van de ontstane situatie daar 'hij normaal CNN maar aan hoefde te zetten om te weten wat er gebeurt in Washington.....' Inderdaad dat is het niveau van de zogenaamde journalistiek in ons land en ver daarbuiten...... Een andere correspondent, volgens mij Lucas Waagmeester, correspondent van de zogenaamde onafhankelijke zendgemachtigde NOS, 'moest' nog even melden dat er ook linkse groepen geweld gebruikten in Washington.... Geen beeld dat dit bevestigt, maar dat interesseert Waagmeester blijkbaar niet.......

Nog even terug naar Kaag, o.a. minister Buitenlandse Handel, zij stelde bij BNR tevens dat ze Biden feliciteerde met zijn presidentschap en hoopt zaken te kunnen doen met hem.... ha! ha! ha! ha! Kaag hoopt gewoon dat Biden als de bliksem het TTIP akkoord tekent, zodat ze een meerderheid van het Nederlandse volk dat tegen dit vrijhandelsverdrag is, een reuzenoor kan aannaaien, immers dit verdrag is in het belang van de grote bedrijven en niet van de burgers..... Eén en ander door de ISDS clausule in dit verdrag, daarmee zullen landen als Nederland niet langer producten uit de VS kunnen weigeren als deze een gevaar zijn voor de volksgezondheid, vergeet niet dat dit nu al is toegestaan: er worden hier levensmiddelen als groente en fruit verkocht die behandeld zijn met een gif dat hier al lang en breed is verboden...... ISDS staat voor een geheime rechtbank waar bedrijven landen kunnen aanklagen voor het weigeren van hun producten..... Bestaande handelsverdragen met zo'n rechtbank laten zien dat de bedrijven in 99% van de gevallen in het gelijk worden gesteld.... Geheime rechtbanken daar het publiek niet mag weten welk bedrijf zo smerig bezig is, immers daarop zou dat publiek kunnen besluiten die producten te boycotten......

'Terug naar Washington': Paul Bril, die volgens eigen zeggen jaren in de VS heeft gewoond stelde vanmorgen op BNR na 8.00 u. dat Capitol Hill gewijde grond is..... ha! ha! ha! ha! Ja 'gewijde grond' waar beslissing werden en worden genomen die miljoenen mensen het leven hebben gekost en kosten, in de eerste plaats de levens van de oorspronkelijke bevolking van het VS gebied in Noord-Amerika die met een genocide bijna werden uitgeroeid.... 'Gewijde grond......'

Onbegrijpelijk dat e.e.a. heeft kunnen gebeuren in Washington zeker daar Trump zoals gezegd, al in december zijn aanhang opriep om 6 januari naar Washington te komen (de dag dat het congres Biden zou aanwijzen als opvolger van hem)... Hoe is het mogelijk dat deze gewelddadige demonstranten zelfs het Capitol konden binnendringen??? Heeft dit wellicht te maken met politie en troepen van de Nationale Garde die een machtsoverdracht onmogelijk willen maken?? Het ziet er niet naar uit dat politie en leger pal achter Trump staan en het mogelijk zouden maken dat Biden niet kan aantreden als president, maar je weet maar nooit, pas de 20ste van deze maand is de officiële machtsoverdracht.... Een burgeroorlog zou lullig genoeg een zegen zijn voor een groot aantal landen waar de VS de beest uithangt, immers er zullen dan echt veel troepen terug worden geroepen naar de VS, zoals Trump beloofde bij zijn aantreden, maar waar weinig van terecht is gekomen. Eén ding is zeker: een burgeroorlog in de VS dichterbij dan ooit sinds de laatste 155 jaar........

Overigens dient nog opgemerkt worden dat in het hieronder opgenomen bericht van Caitlin Johnstone een video is opgenomen waarin te zien is hoe de politie de hekken opent voor de gewelddadige demonstranten........

Misschien wel de meest belachelijke uitspraak kwam van Boris Johnson, de uiterst kwaadaardige Britse premier, deze stelde dat de gebeurtenissen in Washington beschamend zijn, terwijl de VS staat voor het brengen van democratie over de wereld.... ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Democratie brengen middels bommen en granaten, waarna een democratie zelfs verder weg is dan ooit tevoren!! Niet voor niets dat de VS het zo goed kan vinden met dictators, neem Saoedi-Arabië dat met hulp van de VS een genocide uitvoert in Jemen en dat bijna alle moslim terreurgroepen steunt, inclusief ISIS..... Iets waar de VS overigens volledig aan meewerkt, zo beschermt de VS diverse terreurgroepen in het gebied dat het in Syrië illegaal bezet houdt, een belangrijk gebied voor dat land omdat er veel olie wordt gewonnen (het land moet heropgebouwd worden vanwege de door de VS georganiseerde oorlog, dus elke cent is nodig), naast Al Qaida en minder bekende terreurgroepen zijn daar ook een groot aantal ISIS strijders die (nogmaals) worden beschermd door de VS.......

George W. Bush stelde in een reactie dat het gebeuren in Washington thuishoort in een bananenrepubliek.... Een bananenrepubliek waarvoor o.a. hijzelf de fundamenten heeft gelegd!!

In het volgende artikel merkt Caitlin Johnstone o.a. volkomen terecht op dat de VS nu een koek van eigen deeg krijgt, ook al is de machtsoverdracht bijna niet te voorkomen door Trump en zijn misdadige administratie, die overigens deels tegen de gewelddadige demonstranten is...... MSM Already Using Capitol Hill Riot To Call For More Internet Censorship

The United States received a very small taste of its own medicine today as rioting Trump fanatics temporarily forced their way into the nation's Capitol building, and now the whole nation is freaking out.

I am being generous when I say that America was given a very small taste of its own medicine; unlike the horrific coups and violent uprisings the US routinely orchestrates in noncompliant nations around the world, this one stood exactly zero chance of seizing control of the government, and only one person died.

I am also being generous when I say the rioters "forced their way" in; DC chose not to increase its police presence in preparation for the protests despite knowing that they were planned, and there's footage of what appears to be cops actively letting them through a police barricade. There was some fighting between police and protesters, but contrasted with the militarized squadron which greeted Black Lives Matter demonstrators at the same building a few months prior it's fair to say the police response today was relatively gentle.

Just as predictably, it's also got them calling for the censorship of social media.

The New York Times has published two new articles titled "The storming of Capitol Hill was organized on social media" and "Violence on Capitol Hill Is a Day of Reckoning for Social Media", both arguing for more heavy-handed restrictions on speech from Silicon Valley tech giants.

In the former, NYT's Sheera Frenkel writes "the violence Wednesday was the result of online movements operating in closed social media networks where people believed the claims of voter fraud and of the election being stolen from Mr. Trump," citing the expert analysis of think tank spinmeister Renee DiResta of "Tulsi Gabbard is a Russian asset" fame. As usual no mention is made of DiResta's involvement in the New Knowledge scandal in which a Russian interference "false flag" was staged for an Alabama Senate race.

“These people are acting because they are convinced an election was stolen,” DiResta said. “This is a demonstration of the very real-world impact of echo chambers.”

“This has been a striking repudiation of the idea that there is an online and an offline world and that what is said online is in some way kept online,” DiResta adds.

This narrative which seeds the idea that unregulated communication on the internet will lead to violent uprisings is funny coming from Frankel, who, as a Twitter follower recently observed, wrote a piece in 2018 condemning the Iranian government for restricting protesters' social media access during the demonstrations at that time.

"Social media and messaging apps have become crucial to antigovernment demonstrators around the world, as a means of both organizing and delivering messages to other citizens," Frankel wrote. "Not surprisingly, restricting access to such technology has become as important to government crackdowns as the physical presence of the police."

In the other article, co-authored by Frankel, Mike Isaac and Kate Conger, the message is driven home even less subtly.

"As pro-Trump protesters stormed the Capitol building on Wednesday and halted the certification of Electoral College votes, the role of social media companies such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube in spreading misinformation and being a megaphone for Mr. Trump came under renewed criticism," reads the article, adding, "So when violence broke out in Washington on Wednesday, it was, in the minds of longtime critics, the day the chickens came home to roost for the social media companies."

The article reports on the US president's temporary suspension of social media privileges for allegedly inciting violence with his posts, then discusses the various kinds of disinformation and violent ideation being circulated in Trump discussion forums.

"Those alternative social media sites were rife with Trump supporters organizing and communicating on Wednesday," NYT tells us. "On Parler, one trending hashtag was #stormthecapitol. Many Trump supporters on the sites also appeared to believe a false rumor that Antifa, a left-wing movement, was responsible for committing violence at the protests."

“We know the social media companies have been lackadaisical at best” at stopping extremism from growing on their platforms, Jonathan Greenblatt, director of the Anti-Defamation League, told NYT. “Freedom of expression is not the freedom to incite violence. That is not protected speech.”

We will likely see many more such articles in the coming days, arguing for increased regulation of internet communication to prevent future incidents like today.

In and of itself this won't sound terribly concerning to the average citizen. Nothing wrong with taking steps to prevent people from plotting violence and terrorism on social media, right?

But how do you predict what protests are going to be "violent"? How do you decide which protests and what political dissent need to be censored and which ones should be permitted to communicate freely? Do you just leave it up to Silicon Valley oligarchs to make the call? Or do you have them consult with the government like they've been doing? Are either of these institutions you'd trust to regulate what protests are worthy of being permitted to organize online?

Because the actual power structures in the United States seem to be interested in simply censoring the internet to eliminate political dissent altogether.

In 2017 top officials from Facebook, Twitter and Google were brought before the Senate Judiciary Committee and admonished to come up with policies that will "prevent the fomenting of discord" in the United States.

World Socialist Website reported the following in 2017.

Democratic Senator Mazie Hirono of Hawaii demanded, for her part, that the companies adopt a “mission statement” expressing their commitment “to prevent the fomenting of discord.”

The most substantial portion of the testimony took place in the second part of the hearing, during which most of the Senators had left and two representatives of the US intelligence agencies testified before a room of mostly empty chairs.

Clint Watts, a former U.S. Army officer, former FBI agent, and member of the Alliance for Securing Democracy, made the following apocalyptic proclamation: “Civil wars don’t start with gunshots, they start with words. America’s war with itself has already begun. We all must act now on the social media battlefield to quell information rebellions that can quickly lead to violent confrontations and easily transform us into the Divided States of America.”

He added, “Stopping the false information artillery barrage landing on social media users comes only when those outlets distributing bogus stories are silenced—silence the guns and the barrage will end.”

That sounds an awful like government officials and operatives telling social media corporations that it's their job to censor communication which could facilitate any kind of unrest, no matter how justified.

Do you trust these monopolistic megacorporations to decide whether or not people's dissident speech is acceptable? I don't.

VS 'voorrechten' op de rest van de wereld

Caitlin Johnstone heeft een artikel geschreven waarin ze alle privileges van de VS op een rij heeft gezet. Zonder meer het lezen waard en het laat ten overvloede zien dat de VS een terreurentiteit is die volkomen schijt heeft aan wat men in andere landen over haar buitenlandbeleid vindt.

Het gaat zelfs zover dat alle zaken die de VS elders uitvreet, toeschrijft aan anderen, terwijl de VS de ene illegale oorlog na de andere start....... Daarbij wordt de bevolking door CIA agenten opgehitst in opstand te komen, waar de VS deze opstanden maar al te graag steunt met huurlingen die geweld plegen tijdens demonstraties en deze toeschrijft aan het wettige gezag van zo'n land (voorbeelden te over)..... Als ook dat niet helpt kan de VS het leger van zo'n land bespelen en pressen tot het plegen van een staatsgreep en als ook dat geen resultaat oplevert kan de VS zoals al zo vaak gezien en hiervoor al genoemd, een illegale oorlog starten tegen zo'n land, waarbij een groot aantal leugens uit de kast worden getrokken om die VS terreur en enorme oorlogsmisdaad van 'legitimatie te voorzien' (false flag operaties) en ook voor dat laatste: voorbeelden te over.......

Niet voor niets heeft de VS sinds 1945 tot nu toe al meer dan 22,5 miljoen mensen vermoord**, onder het mom van het brengen van democratie (waarbij niet zelden democratisch gekozen regeringen en/of hun presidenten werden afgezet, zie Oekraïne >> deze wanstaltige en bloedige 'grap' heeft de VS destijds 4 miljard dollar gekost, verantwoordelijken: hare kwaadaardigheid Hillary Clinton (destijds minister van BuZa) en de zittend president, toentertijd 'vredesduif' Obama......

Vergeet voorts niet, zoals al zo vaak betoogd, dat de VS en haar oorlogshond NAVO met het uitoefenen van grootschalige terreur, verantwoordelijk zijn voor de terreur op de Europese straten en voor grote stromen vluchtelingen......

American Privilege

American liberals and progressives talk a bit about white privilege, male privilege, straight privilege etc, but one thing I never hear them talk about is American privilege: the ability their nationality gives them to have a relationship with this world we all share that the rest of us do not have.

American privilege is reassuring yourself that there are problems enough at home without worrying about the trillions your government's war machine is spending terrorizing the world and encircling the planet with military bases.

American privilege is reluctantly allowing the potential Commanders-in-Chief have an eight-minute conversation about foreign policy in your presidential primary debates, when your country's military policy functionally dictates the affairs of rest of the world.

American privilege is arguing against the legality of assault weapons on the basis that they are "weapons of war", implying that they're fine as long as they're used to kill some foreigner's kids.

American privilege is being able to masturbate your outrage addiction over a racist joke while ignoring the way your military murders black and brown people by the tens of thousands every year.

American privilege is being able to lose your mind over someone using the wrong pronouns while your government pours your tax money and resources into governments and groups who hang gay people in the town square.

American privilege is believing your propaganda is the truth, and everyone else's understanding of the world is fake news.

American privilege is being able to spend all day arguing online about domestic policy while the rest of the world, completely incapable of influencing your government's behavior, prays you don't get us all killed.

American privilege is only having a robust antiwar movement when your own citizens are at risk of being drafted, then completely forgetting about peace for decades while an increasingly robotic military force gives you even more peace of mind.

American privilege is being able to relax about war because your soldiers are being replaced with drones and proxy militias in US-driven conflicts, even though those kill people just as dead as manually operated killing machines.

American privilege is being hush-hush about the egregious imperialist stances of progressive candidates like Bernie Sanders because they have some decent domestic policies.

American privilege is black bloc protests against public appearances by figures like Milo Yiannopoulos and the Proud Boys while murderous war pigs like Bill Kristol, Henry Kissinger, John Bolton, David Frum and arms industry executives go from appearance to appearance completely unbothered.

American privilege is benefiting from cheap goods and oil and a strong dollar and never wondering how many innocent foreigners lost their lives and homes in the wars your government starts to make that so.

American privilege is living in a nation whose government can murder an entire family one day with explosives dropped from the sky, and yet you never hearing about it because that isn't considered a newsworthy occurrence.

American privilege is being one of the worst-travelled populations in the world while having military bases in countries that most Americans wouldn’t recognize the name of, let alone have been to.

American privilege is having your insane culture normalized around the world via Hollywood and other media so that nobody stops and wonders why we're letting this bat shit crazy nation rule our planet, and so no one makes you feel bad about your American privilege.

American privilege is living in a nation that uses its military and economic might to terrorize, murder, imprison, starve and impoverish anyone who doesn't go along with its interests, and feeling no urgent need to bring a stop to this.

American privilege is being fine with being the world leader, but not being too bothered about what exactly that means.
