Tony Blinken (VS minister van BuZa) liegt als hij zegt dat de VS alleen met toestemming van het volk geweld gebruikt in het buitenland

Tony Blinken, een figuur die zich onder Obama ontpopte als oorlogsmisdadiger van formaat, heeft in een Twitterbericht het gore lef gehad om te zeggen dat de VS nooit zal twijfelen om geweld te gebruiken als de levens van 'Amerikanen' op het spel staan en vitale belangen van de VS gevaar lopen....... Waarna hij vervolgd met te zeggen dat de VS dit alleen zal doen als de doelstellingen duidelijk en haalbaar zijn en in overeenstemming zijn met onze waarden en wetten (ha! ha! ha!) en met de toestemming van het geïnformeerde volk en dat in combinatie met diplomatie...... (ha! ha! ha! ha!)

Caitlin Johnstone heeft volkomen terecht gehakt gemaakt van deze enorme leugens. Ze stelt dat er nooit levens van VS burgers op het spel staan als de VS weer eens illegaal (unilateraal) ingrijpt, hooguit de levens van VS 'burgers' (militairen en beambten van de geheime diensten) die al niet aanwezig zouden mogen zijn in een bepaald land, juist omdat de VS daar bijvoorbeeld al illegaal heeft ingegrepen (of daar op andere manier de boel destabiliseert, daar zo'n land zich niet onderwerpt aan de VS). Ze haalt hierbij het voorbeeld aan van de VS beschietingen van doelen in Syrië onlangs, daar VS doelen in Irak met raketten zouden zijn beschoten vanuit Syrië, waar geen flinter aan bewijs werd geleverd voor wie verantwoordelijk was voor die aanvallen.......* De grootste leugen in deze is echter het feit dat de VS burgers in het geheel niet werd gevraagd om toestemming voor die VS aanvallen, zoals Blinken zo 'mooi formuleerde....'

Caitlin pluist verder dat 'consent' (toestemming) van het volk uit. Natuurlijk wordt er geen toestemming door het volk gegeven als een VS president weer eens beslist om doelen in het buitenland te bombarderen, of als de VS een zoveelste illegale oorlog begint. De media spelen hier een belangrijke rol door het manipuleren van de bevolking: met veel omhaal worden leugens van de geheime diensten en het Pentagon herhaalt, waarbij men tevens stelt dat bijvoorbeeld in het geval dat de VS weer eens illegaal een oorlog is begonnen, dit gebeurt voor het handhaven van mensenrechten en het brengen van democratie, zaken die in eigen land en andere landen waarmee de VS goede banden onderhoudt (zoals Saoedi-Arabië) met voeten worden getreden.......

Als je stelt dat deze toestemming (consent) er wel degelijk is, gezien de talkshows en andere media uitlatingen, is dat alleen omdat het volk werd gehersenspoeld met leugens door media, politiek en geheime diensten en dan nog wordt een deel van die toestemming pas achteraf middels propaganda leugens verkregen.......

Gezien de agressie die de Biden administratie nu al heeft getoond (hij is pas net president) valt er niets goeds te verwachten voor de komende 4 jaar......

Caitlin geeft aan het eind van haar artikel haar visie op de wereld, waarin de massa's moeten worden gewekt om de van hen gestolen macht terug te eisen, niet middels een gestoken politiek systeem dat werkt in het voordeel van de weinigen (en is gericht tegen velen niet alleen in het binnenland, maar juist ook in het buitenland, waar de VS zich oppermachtig acht...). Het voorgaande kan alleen als genoeg mensen zich hebben bevrijd uit de psychologische manipulaties van politici en media. Dat kan volgens Caitlin als we als eerste het publieke vertrouwen in propaganda operaties verzwakken en de massa wekken met de waarheid. Als er voldoende mensen zijn ontwaakt uit hun door propaganda opgewekte sluimeren, kunnen we onze wereld opeisen en alle sociopathische manipulators buitenspel zetten zonder één schot af te vuren, alleen door op te staan en te laten zien waar we voor staan.

Moet zeggen dat ik Caitlin wat betreft het direct voorgaande naïef vindt, immers de overheden hebben intussen zoveel gereedschappen om het volk te controleren dat het me sterk lijkt dat er zonder strijd verandering zal komen, maar het zou geweldig zijn als Caitlin toch gelijk heeft......

Consent That’s Manufactured By Propaganda Is Not Informed Consent

A new Twitter post by Secretary of State Tony Blinken reads as follows:

"We will never hesitate to use force when American lives and vital interests are at stake, but we will do so only when the objectives are clear and achievable, consistent with our values and laws, and with the American people's informed consent - together with diplomacy."

Like pretty much everything ever said by Blinken, and indeed by every US secretary of state, this is an absolute lie.

Firstly, US military force is never used to protect "American lives" in modern times, unless you count the lives of US troops and mercenaries in foreign lands they have no business occupying in the first place. The US military is never used to defend American lives against an invading enemy force; that simply does not happen in our current world order. It is only ever used to protect the agenda of unipolar planetary domination, which would be the "vital interests" which Blinken obliquely refers to above.

Secondly, Blinken's claim that the Biden administration will never use military force without "the American people's informed consent" has already been blatantly invalidated by Biden's airstrikes on Syria last month. The American people never gave their consent to those airstrikes, informed or uninformed. A nation the US invaded (Syria) was bombed because troops are being attacked in a second nation the US invaded (Iraq) on the completely unproven claim that a third country against whom the US is currently waging economic warfare (Iran) supported those attacks. At no time were the people asked for their consent to this, and at no time was any attempt made to ensure that they were informed of the situation before it happened.

Thirdly, US military force is never, ever conducted with the American people's informed consent. Literally never. Consent is always manufactured for US wars by lies and mass media propaganda, one hundred percent of the time, without exception. The bigger the military operation, the more egregious the deceit used to manufacture consent for it. Even in relatively "peaceful" times when the US is merely raining dozens of bombs and missiles per day on foreign soil, Americans are subject to a nonstop deluge of distorted and outright false narratives about their military and the nations it targets for destruction.

Consent that has been artificially manufactured by propaganda is not informed consent, any more than sex with someone who's been dosed with rohypnol is consensual sex. US imperialism does not rely on informed consent, it relies on disinformed consent; consent for it is manufactured by disinformation. Informed consent plays no role whatsoever in the use of US military force, nor indeed in any other major aspect of the behavior of the US or its allies.

Every aspect of the US-centralized power alliance is propped up by a relentless deluge of mass-scale psyops. Imperialism, capitalism, electoral politics; consent for all its key pillars is constantly being manufactured by the plutocratic news media, by television, by movies. All of the most influential generators of modern mainstream thought and culture are heavily influenced by a plutocratic class which has a vested interest in keeping power out of the hands of the people.

This is the only thing keeping us from moving into a healthy new paradigm where we collaborate with each other toward a healthy world based on truth and beauty instead of competing with each other over who can create the most profitable pieces of future landfill. No hard obstacles are in place stopping us; our cages only exist between our ears. It is only because powerful people are manipulating our minds to their advantage that we have not already used the power of our numbers to create a healthy, harmonious and enjoyable earth.

It's important to be aware of the fact that our consent has been manufactured for this mess, because it means we never gave them our informed consent, which means no existing power structures have any legitimacy at all. They have power because they stole our power from us, and it is our prerogative to take it back. We do not need to go through the political systems they have rigged to their advantage or the ideological spectrum of acceptable debate that they have confined mainstream discourse to. We can just take it.

This will only happen after we have freed ourselves in sufficient numbers from their mass-scale psychological manipulations, which will only happen after we have prioritized weakening public trust in their propaganda operations and waking the mainstream public up to the truth. Once a sufficient number of people have been awakened from their propaganda-induced slumber, we can reclaim our world from the sociopathic manipulators without firing a shot, just by standing up to our true size and flexing our giant muscles.

I sincerely believe this will happen, and that it will happen fairly soon. Then we will extract their rapey fingers from our minds and create something truly amazing together.

De Biden administratie zegt uit zelfbescherming doelen in Syrië te hebben gebombardeerd, NB vanuit een land waar de VS ook al niets te zoeken heeft: Irak!!

Alsof het Witte Huis is aangevallen met een raket, zo reageerde de VS op een aanval met een raket op een VS basis nabij de Iraakse stad Irbil op 15 februari jl...... Bij de aanval kwam een niet VS personeelslid om het leven en raakte een aantal VS 'burgers' gewond ('burgers': in feite personeel van een paramilitair bedrijf in de VS dat militaire taken heeft overgenomen van het VS leger.....) Vergeet niet dat de haat tegen de VS in Irak en Syrië groot is, zo heeft de VS (met hulp van andere NAVO-lidstaten) sinds het de illegale oorlog tegen Irak begon in 2003 meer dan 2 miljoen mensen vermoord, ofwel het is allesbehalve vreemd dat VS bases in Irak worden aangevallen.......... Grootschalige terreur zoals de VS en haar NAVO-partners uitoefenden en uitoefenen blijft nooit onbestraft (en ja, voor die terreur is ook Nederland mede verantwoordelijk......), het is dan ook een logische zaak dat met deze terreur 'tegenterreur' is uitgelokt op de straten van EU lidstaten...... (om over de grote, door westerse terreur veroorzaakte vluchtelingenstromen richting Europa nog maar te zwijgen......) Het is dan ook vrijwel zeker dat de basis bij Irbil met een raket vanuit Irak werd bestookt en niet vanuit Syrië.......

In de VS is oorlog een verdienmodel, waar de bevolking in de VS opdraait voor de kosten en de grote bedrijven als Halliburton, bouwbedrijven (voor de 'wederopbouw'), de wapenindustrie, privé legeronderdelen en de oliemaatschappijen geld verdienen over de rug van de door het westen gemaakte slachtoffers.... Het is overigens niet ondenkbaar dat zich onder die gewonde VS burgers ook figuren van het VS bedrijfsleven bevonden, immers de wederopbouw van Irak, veroorzaakt door de enorme vernielingen die de VS heeft aangericht in dat land, wordt zoals zojuist opgemerkt, voor een fiks deel uitgevoerd door bedrijven uit de VS, zo 'snijdt het mes aan twee kanten' en kan de VS ook aan de wederopbouw kapitalen verdienen....... Hoe sarcastisch wil je het hebben??!!!

Het voorgaande terwijl het Pentagon noch wenst te bevestigen dan wel ontkennen dat de groepen die door haar werden aangevallen de daders zijn van de eerdere raketaanval op die illegale VS basis in Irak..... Illegaal daar de meerderheid van het Iraakse parlement de buitenlandse troepen het land uit wil hebben, daarvoor sprak dit parlement zich begin januari vorig jaar al uit..... (Nederland heeft schandalig genoeg ook nog steeds militairen in Irak!!) Hetzelfde geldt overigens voor Syrië, ook daar zijn de VS en andere NAVO-lidstaten allesbehalve welkom........(zoals gezegd: ook de inval in Irak in 2003 was illegaal)

De VS spreekt over agressie en terreur van sjiitische groepen in Syrië en verbindt die meteen aan Iran......... Alsof het verzet tegen de nazi-Duitse bezetting tijdens WOII zich zouden hebben beschuldigd aan terreur, zoals de nazi's deze verzetsdaden inderdaad aanmerkten....... Ach ja na het Derde Rijk van de nazi's hebben we nu het Vierde Rijk dat van de VS (en ook dat is een fascistisch bewind...).... Het woord sjiitisch viel al even en natuurlijk verbindt ook de VS onder Biden de door hen aangevallen 'terreurgroepen' met Iran, hoewel de VS tot nu toe nooit heeft kunnen bewijzen dat Iran deze groepen steunt..... (trouwens Iran ligt niet zoals de VS op duizenden kilometers afstand van Irak en Syrie, dus zou eventueel heel wat meer rechten hebben om in te grijpen dan de VS.......)

De VS en andere NAVO-lidstaten moeten zich als de sodemieter terugtrekken niet alleen uit Irak, maar uit het hele Midden-Oosten, inclusief Afghanistan........ De intussen meer dan 5 miljoen mensen die deze landen hebben vermoord sinds 2001 zijn er meer dan 5 miljoen te veel >> de westerse terreur moet nu eindelijk eens stoppen!!

(Oorlogsmisdadiger opa Joe met een dapper gezicht over de VS terreur in Syrie, valt me nog mee dat hij zijn linkerhand niet op de bijbel heeft geplaatst......)

On orders of President Biden, the United States has launched an airstrike on a facility in Syria. As of this writing the exact number of killed and injured is unknown, with early reports claiming "a handful" of people were killed.

Rather than doing anything remotely resembling journalism, the western mass media have opted instead to uncritically repeat what they've been told about the airstrike by US officials, which is the same as just publishing Pentagon press releases.

Here's this from The Washington Post:

The Biden administration conducted an airstrike against alleged Iranian-linked fighters in Syria on Thursday, signaling its intent to push back against violence believed to be sponsored by Tehran.

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said the attack, the first action ordered by the Biden administration to push back against alleged Iranian-linked violence in Iraq and Syria, on a border control point in eastern Syria was “authorized in response to recent attacks against American and coalition personnel in Iraq, and to ongoing threats.”

He said the facilities were used by Iranian-linked militias including Kaitib Hezbollah and Kaitib Sayyid al-Shuhada.

The operation follows the latest serious attack on U.S. locations in Iraq that American officials have attributed to Iranian-linked groups operating in Iraq and Syria. Earlier this month, a rocket attack in northern Iraq killed a contractor working with the U.S. military and injured a U.S. service member there.

So we are being told that the United States launched an airstrike on Syria, a nation it invaded and is illegally occupying, because of attacks on "US locations" in Iraq, another nation the US invaded and is illegally occupying. This attack is justified on the basis that the Iraqi fighters were "Iranian-linked", a claim that is both entirely without evidence and irrelevant to the justification of deadly military force. And this is somehow being framed in mainstream news publications as a defensive operation.

This is Defense Department stenography. The US military is an invading force in both Syria and Iraq; it is impossible for its actions in either of those countries to be defensive. It is always necessarily the aggressor. It's the people trying to eject them who are acting defensively. The deaths of US troops and contractors in those countries can only be blamed on the powerful people who sent them there.

The US is just taking it as a given that it has de facto jurisdiction over the nations of Syria, Iraq, and Iran, and that any attempt to interfere in its authority in the region is an unprovoked attack which must be defended against. This is completely backwards and illegitimate. Only through the most perversely warped American supremacist reality tunnels can it look valid to dictate the affairs of sovereign nations on the other side of the planet and respond with violence if anyone in those nations tries to eject them.

It's illegitimate for the US to be in the Middle East at all. It's illegitimate for the US to claim to be acting defensively in nations it invaded. It's illegitimate for the US to act like Iranian-backed fighters aren't allowed to be in Syria, where they are fighting alongside the Syrian government against ISIS and other extremist militias with the permission of Damascus. It is illegitimate for the US to claim the fighters attacking US personnel in Iraq are controlled by Iran when Iraqis have every reason to want the US out of their country themselves.

Even the official narrative reveals itself as illegitimate from within its own worldview. CNN reports that the site of the airstrike "was not specifically tied to the rocket attacks" in Iraq, and a Reuters/AP report says "Biden administration officials condemned the February 15 rocket attack near the city of Irbil in Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdish-run region, but as recently as this week officials indicated they had not determined for certain who carried it out."

This is all so very typical of the American supremacist worldview that is being aggressively shoved down our throats by all western mainstream news media. The US can bomb who it likes, whenever it likes, and when it does it is only ever doing so in self defense, because the entire planet is the property of Washington, DC. It can seize control of entire clusters of nations, and if any of those nations resist in any way they are invading America's sovereignty.

It's like if you broke into your neighbor's house to rob him, killed him when he tried to stop you, and then claimed self defense because you consider his home your property. Only in the American exceptionalist alternate universe is this considered normal and acceptable.

This sort of nonsense is why it's so important to prioritize opposition to western imperialism. World warmongering and domination is the front upon which all the most egregious evils inflicted by the powerful take place, and it plays such a crucial role in upholding the power structures we are up against. Without endless war, the oligarchic empire which is the cause of so much of our suffering cannot function, and must give way to something else. If you're looking to throw sand in the gears of the machine, anti-imperialism is your most efficacious path toward that end, and should therefore be your priority.

In America especially it is important to oppose war and imperialism, because an entire empire depends on keeping the locals too poor and propagandized to force their nation's resources to go to their own wellbeing. As long as the United States functions as the hub of a globe-spanning power structure, all the progressive agendas that are being sought by what passes for the US left these days will be denied them. Opposing warmongering must come first.

Standing against imperialism and American supremacism cuts directly to the heart of our difficulties in this world, which is why so much energy goes into keeping us focused on identity politics and vapid energy sucks which inconvenience the powerful in no way whatsoever. If you want to out-wrestle a crocodile, you must bind shut its mouth. If you want to take down a globe-spanning empire, you must take out its weapons. Opposing warmongering and killing public trust in the propaganda used to justify it is the best way to do this.

Met Joe Biden is er niets veranderd op de wereld, anders dan dat 'het Trump fascisme is weggestemd'

Alweer een geweldig artikel van Caitlin Johnstone waarin ze de VS met Biden als president over de meetlat legt. Met Biden is er geen eind gekomen aan: de dominantie van de VS over de wereld met haar meer dan 800 militaire bases, of aan de voortdurende oorlogsvoering in gebieden waar de VS niets te zoeken heeft, terwijl de VS en de rest van het westen Rusland, China en Iran beschuldigen van wat de VS zelf doet, maar waar er geen flinter aan bewijs kan worden geleverd voor de leugen dat deze 3 landen zoals de VS: 

• overal waar het dit Vierde Rijk uitkomt oorlog voeren.......
• elk land dat zich niet schikt naar de mores van de VS wordt bestoken met illegale sancties (zonder instemming van de VN) zodat mensen elders zelfs honger moeten lijden en met bosjes overlijden daar zo'n land geen medicijnen kan krijgen vanwege die moordende sancties (die bijvoorbeeld in Venezuela al aan meer dan 50.000 mensen het leven hebben gekost.....).....
  
• opstanden organiseert en regisseert en als dat niet leidt tot een wisseling van VS vriendelijk regime: 
• de militaire top van dat land omkoopt om een door de CIA geregisseerde staatsgreep uit te voeren en als ook dat niet helpt:
• een illegale oorlog begint tegen zo'n land, waarvoor de geheime diensten (CIA en NSA) die ten dienste staan van de zittende administratie ongeloofwaardige leugens verzinnen om e.e.a. te 'legitimeren....' (waar de rest van het westen dan als een hitsige rekel achteraan loopt......)
  

'Het is een schande dat men op het internet maar kan zeggen wat men wil', zo stellen de Republikeinen en de Democraten, echter dat de politici, de reguliere media en de sociale media de boel openlijk belazeren op deze media wordt als normaal gezien en moet vooral in stand worden gehouden....... Er wordt steeds meer censuur uitgeoefend op de sociale media (ook in ons land) en men wil zelfs 'vijandige sites' weren van het web (sites van mensen die kritiek hebben op de gevestigde fascistische neoliberale status quo en de agressie van het westen)...... Voor die censuuur pleiten ook de reguliere westerse (zogenaamd onafhankelijke) media, terwijl ze zelf meters aan bewijzen hebben geproduceerd waaruit duidelijk blijkt dat ze zelf nepnieuws (fake news) brengen en de gebruikers van die media op zo'n manier manipuleren dat je van hersenspoelen kan spreken.......

Biden may be trying to extradite a journalist for exposing US war crimes, and he may be inflicting mass murder and starvation sanctions on disobedient governments around the world to ensure perpetual global domination, but at least America voted out fascism.

The "two" party puppet show is always fake. Always, always, always, always. When you get really into a movie you forget it's a movie. You don't see the screen, you don't see the actors; you're enthralled by the show. Getting caught up in the puppet show is the same: buy into any part of it and you lose sight of reality. As soon as you mentally reify it because you really like this or that Democrat or really hate this or that Republican, you lose your ability to see what's happening. You lose sight of the puppeteers and the strings as you clap along with the performance like a child.

There is no meaningful difference between a government with one status quo-enforcing party and a government with two status quo-enforcing parties.

❖

We inhabit two worlds: the real world and the narrative world. In the narrative world, the US drastically changed on January 20th. In the real world―the world minus its narrative soundtrack―all the money, weapons, troops and people are moving basically the same as they were on January 19th.

❖

If President Biden had all the exact same policies and positions but an (R) next to his name, American conservatives would be ferociously defending him from liberal attacks. If parallel universes exist this is definitely happening in one of them.

The most dangerous predators are the ones you don't see. It's true in nature, it's true in interpersonal relationships, and it's true in politics.

Everyone makes fun of America for having no social safety nets for citizens who've fallen on hard times, but that's not exactly fair. They've got the largest prison system in the world.

Capitalism cultists talk about earning money like you can just dig it up in your backyard or something. "If you need more money just go earn it!", like we're hunter-gatherers in an abundant forest instead of powerless subjects in an economic system rigged by and for the wealthy.

The leading cause of crazy conspiracy theories is not unregulated online speech but the fact that the world's most powerful government does evil things constantly while keeping a massive amount of its behavior secret, and the fact that the mainstream media often promotes conspiracy theories.

It's outrageous that people are allowed to tell lies on the internet and something needs to be done about it. The only ones who should be allowed to lie to us are the government, the news media, the education system and the church.

❖

The US-centralized empire seeks narrative hegemony as urgently as it seeks global hegemony, and for the same reasons.

❖

The mass media have been acting weird the last few years because the US is approaching post-primacy and various propaganda ops are needed to manufacture consent for the agendas which will be needed to try and avert the end of the empire. That's pretty much all you're seeing here.

❖

One of the most frustrating things to deal with is the whole "well hey no one's perfect" attitude people have toward mainstream politicians who literally facilitate acts of mass murder. It's like "Yeah my husband kills and mutilates prostitutes, but who has a perfect marriage?"

❖

 

Bush's "war on terror" never ended, they just stopped calling it that. The only thing that changed was the branding; they just stopped using the "war on terror" label while expanding and normalizing the same protocols and operations. Now even relatively "anti-war" politicians openly support these massive military engagements on the other side of the planet which horrified peace activists in the Bush era.

"You don't oppose imperialism, you only criticize western imperialism!"

Show me the non-western power that's circling the planet with hundreds of military bases, waging nonstop wars and orchestrating the destruction of any nation which disobeys it and I'll criticize them too.

The best way to live is don't. Don't live. Don't try to impose your will on life using the thinky me-mind. Get out of life's way and let it live itself. Breath comes in and out on its own. Legs move this way or that on their own. Actions happen on their own. Life lives unminded.
