De mislukte fascistische coup in de VS, een onbekend verhaal, 'zelfs' in geschiedenisboeken voor onderwijs

Smedley Butler was een vaak en hoog onderscheiden officier van het VS leger. Deze Smedley werd in 1933 gevraagd met een leger van 500.000 soldaten uit WOI een mars te maken op Washington DC en zo à la Bolsjewistische revolutie de rest van het land mee te krijgen in het omverwerpen van de regering Roosevelt.....

Deelnemende bedrijven aan het complot waren o.a Du Pont, J.P Morgan cartels en kregen veel steun van: Andrew Mellon Associates, Pew (Sun Oil), Rockefeller Associates, E.F. Hutton Associates, U.S. Steel, General Motors, Chase, Standard Oil en Goodyear Tires. Het complot wordt overigens aangeduid als de 'Business Plot'.

De eigenaren van grote bedrijven, zoals overgrootvader Bush (wiens banken van de Union Banking Corporation het financiële beheer van giften deels voor hun rekening namen) hadden veel sympathie voor Hitler en bewierookten hem, de toenmalige directeur van Chevrolet, Knudsen noemde Hitler zelfs een wonder.....

De betrekkingen waren zo goed dat GM al een begin maakte met de bouw van tanks voor het Duitse leger, ook motoren voor bommenwerpers en vrachtwagens voor het nazi-leger stonden op de rol......

Niet voor niets ook dat de topmannen Mooney (GM), Ford (van de autofabriek) en Tom Watson (IBM) een hoge nazi-onderscheiding kregen van Hitler........

Deze coup was gedoemd te mislukken en op het moment dat Smedley alle namen kende van de betrokken figuren, maakte hij e.e.a. openbaar (inclusief deze namen) en vreemd genoeg werd niemand van de samenzweerders veroordeeld..... Terwijl men na WOII mensen letterlijk en figuurlijk het leven onmogelijk maakte, zelfs als ze maar werden verdacht van linkse sympathie........... Niet moeilijk te raden wat hen was overkomen als zij hetzelfde hadden gedaan als de extreem rechtse, of beter gezegd: nazi-samenzweerders eerder poogden, het uitvoeren van een staatsgreep.........

Smedley werd voor zijn openbaarmaking geridiculiseerd en zwart gemaakt door de reguliere media ....... (tja er is wat betreft de reguliere massamedia niet veel veranderd sinds die tijd.....)

“By the end of his career, Butler had received 16 medals, five for heroism. He is one of 19 men to receive the Medal of Honor twice, one of three to be awarded both the Marine Corps Brevet Medal (along with Wendell Neville and David Porter) and the Medal of Honor, and the only Marine to be awarded the Brevet Medal and two Medals of Honor, all for separate actions.”

Butler had been approached by Gerald P. MacGuire of Wall Street’s Grayson M-P Murphy & Co. MacGuire claimed they would assemble an army of 500,000 mostly unemployed WWI veterans and march on DC. The plutocrats wanted Butler to lead the coup, thinking that, like the Bolsheviks, taking one major city (DC as Petrograd) would lead to the fall of the government. They promised to put up $3 million as starters and dangled a future $300 million as bait. Butler went along with the plot until he could learn the identities of all the schemers. Not a one of them was ever called to testify or was charged with Treason. Virtually all of them were founding members of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).

The League was headed by the DuPont and J.P Morgan cartels and had major support from Andrew Mellon Associates, Pew (Sun Oil), Rockefeller Associates, E.F. Hutton Associates, U.S. Steel, General Motors, Chase, Standard Oil and Goodyear Tires.

Money was funneled thru the Sen. Prescott Bush-led Union Banking Corporation (yes, those Bushes) and the Prescott Bush-led Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH, yes, that Harriman) to the League (and to Hitler, but that’s another story). The plotters bragged about Bush’s Hitler connections and even claimed that Germany had promised Bush that it would provide materiel for the coup. This claim was entirely believable: a year earlier, Chevrolet president William S. Knudsen (who himself had donated $10,000 to the League) went to Germany and met with Nazi leaders and declared upon his return that Hitler’s Germany was “the miracle of the twentieth century.” At the time, GM’s wholly-owned Adam-Opal Co. had already begun producing the Nazi’s tanks, trucks and bomber engines. James D. Mooney, GM’s vice-president for foreign operations was joined by Henry Ford and IBM chief Tom Watson in receiving the Grand Cross of the German Eagle from Hitler for their considerable efforts on behalf of the Third Reich.

The Whitewash

While the Committee found that Gen. Butler was telling the truth, discrediting such a stalwart was problematic for the plotters. Quickly, the corporate press weighed in and sought to raise doubts about the war hero, settling on branding him naive. The discredit Knudsen meme was: “it was all idle cocktail party chatter.” This red herring was trumpeted under the Associated Press headline “The Cocktail Putsch.” New York Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia dismissed the plot as “someone at the party had suggested the idea to the ex-Marine as a joke.”

The 6 Cartoons a US Newspaper Doesn’t Want You to See

(FAIR) The work of Rob Rogers, longtime political cartoonist for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, has been notably absent from his paper’s opinion page during this past week. Aside from a cartoon criticizing the trade war posted on Tuesday, June 5, the most recent of Rogers’ drawings appeared last Thursday, May 24.

So where was Rogers all of last week? He did not simply “have the day off,” as printed in last Tuesday’s issue of the Post-Gazette.

Keith Burris, the Post-Gazette’s editorial director since March, when it merged its editorial board with the co-owned Toledo Blade, refused to publish six of Rogers’ cartoons in a row. Four were directly critical of President Donald Trump, and two alluded to racism.

Despite not being published in the Post-Gazette, Rogers continued posting these cartoons on Twitter, as he does with all of his work.

May 25’s cartoon portrayed a referee calling penalties for exercising free speech, disrespecting the troops and eliciting Trump tweetstorms, in light of the NFL’s announcement of their new rule dictating players must stand during the national anthem:

On May 30, he criticized the NFL again, joking it was closed for “racial ignorance training” in light of Starbucks closing many of its locations for racial sensitivity training:

His Memorial Day sketch depicted a caricature of Trump placing a wreath on the grave of  Truth, Honor and the Rule of Law:

On May 31, Rogers satirized Roseanne Barr’s claim that her racist tweets were a result of her taking sleeping pills:

The June 1 cartoon criticized Trump for his immigration policies…

…while on June 3, Rogers satirized Trump’s claim he could pardon himself in the Russia investigation:

None of these cartoons appeared in the Post-Gazette, despite Rogers being the paper’s full-time staff political cartoonist.

Burris frequently writes in support of Trump for the Post-Gazette’s opinion section. In “Can Roseanne Restore Our Sense of Proportion?” (4/8/18), Burris referred to “Trump-hate” as “a mania, a fever, a hissy fit by the self-anointed guardians of all that is good and enlightened in America.” He argued:

God help you if you actually like some of what Mr. Trump does and dislike other things that he does or says. You are, in the words of a church lady who confronted me one day, “complicit.”

Burris wrote an editorial in January (1/15/18) headlined “Reason as Racism,” which defended Trump’s description of developing nations as “shithole countries,” and likened being called racist today with being labeled a Communist during the McCarthy Era.

The paper’s publisher, John Robinson Block of Block Communications, which owns both the Post-Gazette and the Blade, insisted that the piece be printed, according to Post-Gazette reporter Michael A. Fuoco (CJR, 1/22/18). Fuoco went on to describe the dread he and the other newsroom employees felt in the wake of the piece’s publishing.

Block is an open Trump supporter, who (accompanied by Burris) met with Trump on his private plane in 2016 following a campaign rally, tweeting it was “a more than memorable experience” (9/22/16). He also suggested at a community forum on racism in 2013 (Toledo Blade, 9/17/13) that people of color should “pull themselves up by their bootstraps” like they did in the “old days”. 

The Post-Gazette also came under fire in Nov. 2016 for their piece, “A Guide to Decide: Twelve Tests to Choose Between Clinton and Trump,” which was read by many as a crypto-endorsement of Trump.

Burris’ article was so incendiary that the Newspaper Guild of Pittsburgh, which noted it does not, as a rule, comment on editorials, felt the need to denounce the piece, calling it “repugnant.” One hundred and fifty of the Post-Gazette’s newsroom employees signed the letter.

The paper did not publish the Guild’s letter, or another signed by 23 Post-Gazette staff members (CJR, 1/22/18)–omissions that seem to foreshadow the paper’s new editorial director’s distaste for dissenting opinion.

The Blade, however, ran Burris’ response to the backlash against his piece in a column headlined “The Left’s War on Thought” (1/26/18).

Whena Philadelphia Inquirer reporter (6/4/18) reached out to Rogers for comment, Rogers said he was unable to speak of the incident, but confirmed he was still employed by the paper. The piece also noted Burris did not respond.

This morning (6/6/18), in a series of three tweets, Rogers thanked his readers and colleagues for their support, but announced he would be taking some time off from the Post-Gazette while the issue is being resolved. “I love what I do,” he tweeted:

Now, more than ever, I believe in the power of satire and the public dialogue that it can create. Thank you for being part of that dialogue.

The paper ran the latest Rogers cartoon without an acknowledgement of the cartoonist’s absence over the past week. Rogers’ supporters denounced the censorship with comments on the paper’s website like:

So, the Toledo editors CENSORED Rogers’ cartoons!!!!!!!!!!!! Where are we? 1930’s Berlin! This Fascist Conservative Brown Shirt stuff is VERY DANGEROUS.

and:

It’s so stupid that the PG board would weaken the paper and insult we readers by suppressing Rob Rogers’ great work.

Newsday cartoonist Matt Davies came out in support of Rogers on Twitter(6/5/18), saying good editors publish that which they disagree with. This would seem to echo the lessons Burris himself (Post-Gazette, 3/4/18) says he learned from John Craig, the editor who first hired him for paper, who said that a good journalist “has no side or tribe,” and that an opinion writer “must have roots but no permanent alliances.”

Local outlets like the Inquirer and CBS Pittsburgh (6/4/18), as well as CNN Money (6/4/18), have picked up on the story of Rogers’ censorship, but it has yet to appear on larger national sites like the New York Times or NPR.

Thomas de Maizière wil sterke politiestaat, zeg maar het begin van een Derde Rijk 2.0.......

Het is de Duitse minister van Binnenlandse Zaken de Maizière helemaal in de hersenbrij geslagen. Deze 'christelijke' hufter wil dat Duitsland in totaal 15.000 agenten meer op straat brengt. Daarnaast moet het cameratoezicht sterk worden uitgebreid (terwijl je in Duitsland, precies als hier, buiten je neus niet snuiten, of een camera 'ziet toe...')..... Niet dat dit soort maatregelen ook maar één aanslag heeft voorkomen, maar je wilt een oppermachtige politiestaat, of je wilt het niet, ja toch??!!!!

Ook het beroepsgeheim van artsen en dan met name die in de geestelijke gezondheidszorg, moet sterk worden ingeperkt..... Alsof een terrorist bij z'n psychiater gaat vertellen dat hij een aanslag wil plegen...... ha! ha! ha! Maar het is natuurlijk veel erger dan dat, in feite zaait de Maizière haat tegen- en angst voor psychiatrisch patiënten, Hitler wist nog op een andere manier weg met deze patiënten.........

De Maizière kan beter eindelijk eens tekeergaan tegen de enorme, barbaarse westerse terreur (o.l.v. de VS) in landen, waar het niets te zoeken heeft, dan stopt eindelijk de creatie van hele legers aan terroristen. Over Israël zal hij als Duitser wel niets willen zeggen, hoewel zijn regering het fascistische apartheidsbewind in Israël door dik en dun steunt en verdedigt, een bewind dat ook al verantwoordelijk is voor een fikse aanwas in het aantal terroristen......

'Terroristen', mensen die zo gefrustreerd raken alleen al van de vreselijke beelden, die keer op keer tijdens slachtpartijen van het Israëlische leger de wereld overgaan..... Dan spreek ik nog niet over de nabestaanden, van de slachtoffers, gemaakt door dit door en door verrotte, inhumane fascistische bewind....... Datzelfde geldt uiteraard ook voor de andere landen waar het westen grootschalige terreur brengt i.h.k.v. 'democratie brengen........'

De Maizière is voor een politieke EU-unie en ziet wat dat betreft een 'mooie' nieuwe orde, nu Groot-Brittannië de EU verlaat: Deutschland Deutschland über alles! Daarover gesproken: in Nederland berichtten de reguliere media gisteren, dat de Maizière zijn pleidooi voor de hele EU zou hebben gehouden..... Deze media organen 'lopen iets voor' op de feiten.......

Al moet ik toegeven dat de Maizière deel uitmaakt van het CDU, een partij die in de EU onderdeel is van de EVP, een partij die bomvol zit met Oost-Europese fascisten...... Natuurlijk kan deze opperhufter het goed vinden met deze fascisten........

Oostenrijks nieuwe vluchtelingenbeleid: politie gemachtigd tot snelrecht..... Houzee!

De Oostenrijkse regering is van plan het asielrecht sterk te beperken d.m.v. een nieuwe fascisten wet, deze wet wil men versneld doorvoeren. Met deze nieuwe wet kan de Oostenrijkse regering naar believen de noodtoestand uitroepen en kan geen vluchteling nog asiel aanvragen in Oostenrijk. De politie mag met deze nieuwe wet vanaf juli a.s. snelrecht toepassen op vluchtelingen, desnoods langs de snelweg........ Let wel, met de agenten als snelrechter............ Over schending van het VN vluchtelingenverdrag gesproken......... Mensenrechtenschending opgenomen in wetgeving van een EU lid........

Logisch allemaal, immers Oostenrijk had ook voor en tijdens WOII geen last van joodse vluchtelingen, die het land in wilden, dan maak je anno 2016 rare sprongen, nietwaar?!! Oh nee, van Oostenrijk was na 13 maart 1938 geen sprake meer, daar het land zich vrijwillig aansloot bij nazi-Duitsland, ofwel Hitlers Derde Rijk........

Ach ja, Oostenrijk is nooit helemaal los gekomen van het naziverleden en de fascistische sentimenten leefden en leven gewoon door, ze bloeien zelfs anno 2016.....

Mensen, de EU begint meer en meer op een 'volwassen' fascistische staat te lijken, weg met de EU en om met Finkers te spreken: "Snel een beetje!"

In de EU is het weer eens opvallend stil over deze fascistoïde wetgeving bij één van de leden..........

Italië moet vingers vluchtelingen breken, om EU hulp te kunnen krijgen....

Gistermiddag voor het nieuws van 16.00 u., eindelijk een correspondent, die stelde waar het op stond: Angelo van Schaik. Italië heeft intussen 170.000 vluchtelingen opgevangen, die zouden worden herverdeeld, maar intussen zijn er slechts 139 vluchtelingen elders ondergebracht..... Italië zou geen medewerking verlenen aan EU vluchtelingenbeleid, vandaar dat Italië geen EU hulp krijgt uit Brussel, terwijl de EU zoals gezegd een miserabel aantal vluchtelingen herplaatst....... Deel van dat beleid is het registreren van de vluchtelingen, waar ook het afnemen van vingerafdrukken toe behoort. Dat weigert Italië terecht aldus van Schaik, daar men anders de vingers van onwillige vluchtelingen zou moeten breken!!

Je zou bijna gaan geloven, dat de Romeinse tijd weerkeert, met het enige verschil, dat wat de Romeinen toentertijd aanduidden als landen waar barbaren woonden, nu de landen zijn waar nu inderdaad echte barbaren wonen, die naast het onmenselijke neoliberale beleid, meer en meer met uiterst inhumane maatregelen op de proppen komen... Eind 2014 sprak een kapitein van de Italiaanse kustwacht al schande van de nieuwe EU Frontex missie Triton, waardoor hij nog maar een gering aantal kilometers uit de Italiaanse kust mocht zoeken naar drenkelingen....... Na een aantal rampen met boten liet de EU deze handelswijze varen....... Nu weigert Griekenland boten met vluchtelingen terug te duwen in internationale wateren, zoals de EU nu in feite verlangt........ In Australië gebeurt dit overigens al een aantal jaren en EU politici verwijzen dan ook graag nar het 'succesvolle' vluchtelingenbeleid van dit meer dan fascistoïde 'land....'

Kortom Italië en Griekenland worden op een heel smerige manier gechanteerd door de EU...... Mensen we moeten als de donder van de meer dan inhumane dictatoriale EU af, het is de dood in de pot, letterlijk en figuurlijk!!

PvdA Untersturmbannführer van de Europese Commissie Timmermans heeft al het plan gelanceerd om deze landen de grensbewaking af te pakken en een EU grensbewaking in te stellen, om te beginnen met Griekenland, waar de Europese Commissie al een staatsgreep pleegde, n.a.v. de bankencrisis.......

Komt het Derde Rijk dan toch echt nog van de grond.....????
