Lees het volgende uitstekende artikel van Jon Schwarz, gepubliceerd op The Intercept, over Oliver North die van drugslord, nu waarschijnlijk snel zal worden gebombardeerd (deden ze dat maar letterlijk) tot president van terreurorganisatie NRA, ofwel de National Rifle Association......

Leden van de NRA snappen nog steeds niet dat alcohol één van de dodelijkste harddrugs op de wereld is, maar hebben wel de pest aan alles wat men verder illegale drugs* noemt (waar ze uiteraard ook cannabis toe rekenen......). Geen nood voor deze veelal hypocriete christenen, Oliver North wordt ondanks zijn rol als 'drugslord' en terrorist gewoon als held gezien, terwijl hij een oorlogsmisdadiger is die berecht zou moeten worden voor het Internationaal Strafhof in Den Haag (het ICC).....

Als North bijvoorbeeld een Colombiaan was geweest, had men hem al lang opgesloten in de VS vanwege zijn bemoeienis met de invoer van enorme hoeveelheden cocaïne (in de VS).....

Voorts heeft North de Contra's in Nicaragua, een terreurgroep die tegen de socialistische regering vocht, gesteund met wapens, die hij kocht van de winsten gemaakt met drugshandel....

Ach het voorgaande geeft ten overvloede nog eens aan waarvoor de NRA staat: grootschalige terreur op de straten, scholen en andere openbare gelegenheden van de VS.......

THE NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION has always been clear about drugs: They’re terrifying.

Last year, NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre darkly warned that members of drug gangs “are infiltrating law enforcement and even the military.” In 2013, LaPierre proclaimed that “Latin American drug gangs have invaded every city of significant size in the United States,” and are a key part of the “hellish world” that awaits us in the future. When Charlton Heston was president of the NRA in the 1990s, he declared that regular Americans would soon be besieged by 10,000 drug dealers freed from prison by the Clinton administration.

It seems odd, then, that the next president of the NRA will soon be Oliver North, who spent years in the 1980s working together with large-scale cocaine traffickers and protecting a notorious narco-terrorist from the rest of the U.S. government.

This reality about North has been largely covered up, first by North himself and then by Fox News and the passage of time. Thirty years later, it’s been almost totally forgotten. But the facts remain genuinely appalling.

North was an active-duty Marine when he joined the Reagan administration’s National Security Council in 1981. One of Reagan’s top priorities was organizing and funding the Contras, a guerrilla military force, to overthrow the revolutionary socialist Sandinista government of Nicaragua. But the Contras engaged in extensive, gruesome terrorism against Nicaraguan civilians. Congress gradually reduced and then eliminated appropriations supporting them, leading the Reagan administration to secretly search for money elsewhere.

According to the report from a later congressional investigation, North was put in charge of this operation, which participants dubbed “The Enterprise.”

North enthusiastically looked for cash wherever he could find it, and led many of the clandestine schemes that later became known as the Iran-Contra scandal. The Sultan of Brunei donated $10 million (which North’s secretary Fawn Hall accidentally wired to the wrong Swiss bank account), and Saudi Arabia ponied up as well. North also pushed what he called “a neat idea”: selling U.S. military equipment to Iran, with the proceeds passed along to the Contras.

Meanwhile, the Contras had a neat idea of their own: facilitating cocaine trafficking through Central America into the U.S., with a cut going toward supporting their war against the Sandinistas. Some Contras were themselves cocaine traffickers, and others were simply happy to make alliances of convenience with drug cartels.

There’s no evidence North actively wanted cocaine to be smuggled into the U.S. It was simply that he had other priorities. But was he aware of the Contras’ drug trafficking? Yes. Did he try to shield one of “his” cocaine traffickers from consequences from the other branches of the U.S. government? Yes. Did he work together with a known drug lord? Yes.

All in all, North’s connections to drug trafficking were so egregious that in 1989 he was banned from entering Nicaragua’s neighbor Costa Rica by Oscar Arias, the country’s president and 1987 recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.

This may seem shocking to the easily shocked. But it’s all been documented in various government investigations. All you need in order to learn about it is curiosity and an internet connection. For instance, here’s a screenshot from the CIA’s website about the Nicaraguan Revolutionary Democratic Alliance, or ADREN by its Spanish acronym, which was later folded into the Contras:

The full extent of North’s complicity in cocaine trafficking will never be known. When the Iran-Contra scandal story broke in November 1986, he ordered Hall to destroy so many documents that the shredder malfunctioned, and she had to ask White House maintenance to come and fix it. Moreover, when North was removed from his National Security Council (NSC) job, he took with him 2,848 pages of daily notes — which legally belonged to the federal government. By the time a congressional investigation was finally able to examine the notes, North and his lawyers had redacted huge amounts of information.

Nonetheless, 543 of the pages mentioned drugs or drug trafficking, with the probe finding that “in many of these cases, material in the Notebooks adjacent to the narcotics references has been deleted.”

But despite North’s cover-up, what we do know for sure is incredibly damning.

Perhaps most significantly, according to North’s own notes he met with Panama’s then-dictator Manuel Noriega in London in September 1986 to collaborate on a plan for Noriega to support the Contras in return for American money and arms. They discussed sabotaging a Nicaraguan airport and oil refinery, as well as creating a program to train Contra and Afghan mujahedeen commandos in Panama with Israeli help. (It’s not completely clear, but North appears to have written that “Rabin” – i.e., Yitzhak Rabin, who was then Israel’s minister of defense – “approves.”)

North was clearly enthusiastic about the potential partnership with Noriega. In an earlier email selling the proposal to one of his superiors, he wrote that “we might have available a very effective, very secure means of doing some of the things which must be done if the Nicaragua project is going to succeed. … I believe we could make the appropriate arrangements w/ reasonable OPSEC and deniability.”

But of course, Noriega was himself a powerful drug trafficker. Knowing this didn’t require a top-secret clearance: It was published on the front page of the New York Times three months before North met with him. According to the Times article, “A White House official said the most significant drug-running in Panama was being directed by General Noriega.”

The North-Noriega operation ultimately didn’t come to fruition; the Iran-Contra affair was exposed just two months after they met. But the planning that did occur is conclusive evidence that North eagerly worked with drug dealers operating on the largest scale imaginable.

North also went to great lengths to protect an ally who was a key participant in what the Justice Department called “the most significant case of narco-terrorism yet discovered.”

In 1984, José Bueso Rosa, a Honduran general, plotted with several others to assassinate the president of Honduras. They planned to fund the hit with the proceeds from selling 760 pounds of cocaine in the U.S.

The FBI, however, had the participants under surveillance, intercepted the shipment when it arrived at a small airfield in Florida, and arrested everyone involved.

But Bueso had played a key role in Honduran support for the Contras. So North went to work to get him off as lightly as possible. (Bueso had not himself been charged with drug trafficking, but wiretaps made it obvious he participated in that part of the project.)

In email, North explained his plans to “cabal quietly” with other Reagan administration officials “to look at options: pardon, clemency, deportation, reduced sentence.” Eventually, North planned to have the case’s judge informed “in camera” — that is, secretly — about “our equities in this matter,” in order to push for leniency. Then, North wrote, it would be necessary to quietly brief Bueso, so that he wouldn’t “start singing songs nobody wants to hear.”

North didn’t get everything he wanted, but did succeed in having Bueso transferred to a “Club Fed” minimum security prison. Bueso was released on parole after 40 months.

THERE ARE ALSO numerous documented examples of North being informed that members of the Contras were involved in drug trafficking, with no signs that North took any action.

For instance, after meeting with a key assistant, North wrote in his notebooks about a plane being used by the brother of a top Contra leader to ferry supplies from the U.S. to Central America. “Honduran DC-6 which is being used for runs out of New Orleans,” North jotted down, “is probably being used for drug runs into U.S.”

North testified in front of Congress that he’d passed this information along to the Drug Enforcement Administration. When later questioned by the Washington Post, the DEA, the State Department, and the U.S. Customs Service all stated that there was no evidence North ever said anything about the matter to them.

The same aide who told North about the plane also informed him about the “potential involvement with drug running” of one Contra official and that another was “now involved in drug running out of Panama.” And after a call from another subordinate, North noted that the Contras were planning to buy weapons from a Honduran warehouse — and “14 M to finance came from drugs.”

North was getting similar reports from outside the government as well. Dennis Ainsworth, a Republican real estate investor who’d volunteered to help the Contra cause, informed a U.S. attorney that the top Contra commander “was involved in drug trafficking,” but that the Nicaraguan community was frightened to come forward because “they could be blown away by Colombia hit squads.” Ainsworth said he’d tried to inform the White House about this but “we were put off by Ollie North,” and “I was even physically threatened by one of Ollie North’s associates.” (The U.S. attorney later wrote a memo with Ainsworth’s statements and transmitted it to the FBI.)

North and the NRA did not immediately respond to requests for comment on this history. When North ran for Senate in 1994, his campaign spokesperson said his involvement with the Bueso case was “old news and garbage and nobody cares about it.” In a 2004 appearance on Fox News, North called a congressional investigation that focused on the Contra-cocaine connection “a witch hunt” with witnesses “who clearly had a political agenda.”

But the extraordinarily sordid nature of North’s past will be clear to anyone who appraises it honestly. In announcing North’s appointment, Wayne LaPierre said there’s “no one better suited to serve as our President,” and he’s correct. Oscar Arias wrote Thursday that the NRA “finds in Oliver North a leader worthy of its mission.” Peter Kornbluh, who was co-director of the Iran-Contra documentation project at the National Security Archive, is even more straightforward: North, he says, is “the perfect pick to further the NRA’s reputation for favoring bloodshed and criminality over responsible gun control and ownership.”

Nepnieuws en nep media? Hoe de VS echte journalistiek het zwijgen oplegt..........

Niet alleen door nep berichten via de reguliere media, bespelen deze mediaorganen de publieke opinie, maar deze organen proberen ook de alternatieve echte journalistiek het zwijgen op te leggen, zoals met de zwarte lijst, die de Washington Post (WP) publiceerde....... Daarnaast legt de overheid van de VS, als het even kan, met geweld de VS onwelgevallige echte journalisten het zwijgen op, niet alleen in het buitenland, maar ook binnen de eigen grenzen......

Op 10 december 2004 werd onderzoeksjournalist Gary Webb vermoord teruggevonden, dat wil zeggen, de overheid van de VS verklaarde het als suïcide........ Webb zou zich het leven hebben benomen, door zich tweemaal door het hoofd te schieten...... Uiteraard werd Webb vermoord en wel in opdracht van de CIA, die hoogstwaarschijnlijk zelf de opdracht uitvoerde, dan wel door bendes waarmee de CIA samenwerkte........

Na zijn dood ontstond er grote commotie, daar niemand het suïcide verhaal geloofde, op alle mogelijke manieren probeerde de overheid aan te tonen, dat het hier wel degelijk over suïcide ging..... Zelfs de vrouw van Webb werd zo onder druk gezet door de autoriteiten, 'dat ze het met deze belachelijke conclusie eens was.........'

Webb publiceerde over de cocaïne golf die de VS en m.n. Los Angelos overspoelde in de 80er jaren, het begin van de 'crack epidemie' in de VS. Webb toonde aan dat de CIA met de 'Drug Ring' zorgde dat grote hoeveelheden cocaïne L.A. bereikten.... Dit gebeurde middels een door de CIA opgezette leveringsroute tussen de drugskartels in Colombia en bepaalde wijken van Los Angelos (waar ook the Cribs en the Bloods hielpen met de verspreiding....).....

Webb schreef een boek over deze zaak 'Dark Allience', aan de hand waarvan later ook een film zou worden gemaakt.

Overigens speelde ook de Washington Post in deze zaak een smerige rol, u weet wel dezelfde Washington Post, die met een zwarte lijst kwam van 'nepnieuws verspreiders.............'

Met de cocaïne opbrengst bekostigde de CIA o.a. de contra's in Nicaragua, die in dat land enorme oorlogsmisdaden begingen.............. De VS was later het eerste en enige land dat in de VN werd aangeklaagd voor staatsterreur, daar het mijnen liet leggen in de havens van Nicaragua

Julian Assange says “1,700 emails in Hillary Clinton’s collection” proves she sold weapons to ISIS in Syria

The Iran-Contra scandal almost brought down Reagan’s second term.Essentially Oliver North and other senior administration officials secretly facilitated the sale of arms to Iran, which was the subject of an arms embargo.

The Reagan administration officials hoped to secure the release of several U.S. hostages, and then take proceeds from the arms sales to Iran, to fund the Contras in Nicaragua.

Sounds familiar?

In Obama’s second term, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton authorized the shipment of American-made arms to Qatar, a country beholden to the Muslim Brotherhood, and friendly to the Libyan rebels, in an effort to topple the Libyan/Gaddafi government, and then ship those arms to Syria in order to fund Al Qaeda, and topple Assad in Syria.

Clinton took the lead role in organizing the so-called “Friends of Syria” (aka Al Qaeda/ISIS) to back the CIA-led insurgency for regime change in Syria.

Hillary said : “What difference does it make at this point?”

Under oath Hillary Clinton denied she knew about the weapons shipments during public testimony in early 2013 after the Benghazi attack.

In an interview with Democracy Now, Wikileaks’ Julian Assange is now stating that 1,700 emails contained in the Clinton cache directly connect Hillary to Libya to Syria, and directly to Al Qaeda and ISIS.

JUAN GONZÁLEZ: Julian, I want to mention something else. In March, you launched a searchable archive for over 30,000 emails and email attachments sent to and from Hillary Clinton’s private email server while she was secretary of state. The 50,547 pages of documents span the time from June 2010 to August 2014; 7,500 of the documents were sent by Hillary Clinton herself. The emails were made available in the form of thousands of PDFs by the U.S. State Department as the result of a Freedom of Information Act request. Why did you do this, and what’s the importance, from your perspective, of being able to create a searchable base?

JULIAN ASSANGE: Well, WikiLeaks has become the rebel library of Alexandria. It is the single most significant collection of information that doesn’t exist elsewhere, in a searchable, accessible, citable form, about how modern institutions actually behave. And it’s gone on to set people free from prison, where documents have been used in their court cases; hold the CIA accountable for renditions programs; feed into election cycles, which have resulted in the termination of, in some case—or contributed to the termination of governments, in some cases, taken the heads of intelligence agencies, ministers of defense and so on. So, you know, our civilizations can only be as good as our knowledge of what our civilisation is. We can’t possibly hope to reform that which we do not understand.

So, those Hillary Clinton emails, they connect together with the cables that we have published of Hillary Clinton, creating a rich picture of how Hillary Clinton performs in office,but, more broadly, how the U.S. Department of State operates. So, for example, the disastrous, absolutely disastrous intervention in Libya, the destruction of the Gaddafi government, which led to the occupation of ISIS of large segments of that country, weapons flows going over to Syria, being pushed by Hillary Clinton, into jihadists within Syria, including ISIS, that’s there in those emails. There’s more than 1,700 emails in Hillary Clinton’s collection, that we have released, just about Libya alone.

Bernard Hammelburg met 5 km/u. toch nog gierend uit de Reagan bocht........

Gistermiddag was ik even in de keuken bezig, de radio op BNR, waar BNR's koekwous Hammelburg op de praatstoel zat. Ach je bent bezig en dan wil het .e.e.a. wel eens langs je heen gaan. Het gesprek ging over Obama en wat de BNR oliebol van diens presidentschap vond. De naam Reagan viel, daar werd onmiddellijk m'n aandacht door getrokken, zoals u zult begrijpen. Reagan, u weet wel de mislukte Hollywood koeienjongen, die eenzelfde 'passie' aan de dag legde, toen hij (hoe was 't godverdomme mogelijk!) president mocht spelen, dit wel na een staatsgreep, die via stiekeme afspraken met Iran en wapenleveranties aan dat land werd gepleegd....... Iets dat Hammelburg nog steeds afdoet als geruchten, terwijl er bewijs ligt van ongeveer een meter dik (als het al niet veel meer is!), ach ja, Hammelburg draagt de positieve VS propaganda (veelal geschiedvervalsing van de eerste orde), met grote graagte uit!

En ja hoor, daar zei flapdrol Hammelburg 't keihard: "Reagan was een goede president..." ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Hoewel Hammelburg daaraan voorafgaand opmerkte, dat Reagan niets had met buitenlandse politiek, maar ja, daar had hij z'n adviseurs voor........ Reagan een goede president? Ten eerste al, zoals eerder geschreven, de smerige manier waarop hij het presidentschap verkreeg. Dan nog zijn rampzalige beleid, waarmee hij de VS aan de rand van de afgrond bracht. De VS had al een groot deel van de bevolking dat straatarm en kansloos was, dat deel werd onder Reagan een keer zo groot!! Of de totaal illegale acties in het buitenland, de militaire invallen, waarbij zelfs een democratisch gekozen regering letterlijk door de VS werd vervangen, door een dictatuur, die pro VS was..... Nee, geweldige vent die Reagan!! Of de levering van wapens aan de Taliban, alleen maar om Rusland dwars te zitten. Daarmee maakte Reagan 'gemene zaak' met religieuze fanaten.

Figuren als Hammelburg prijzen Reagan ook om zijn overwinning in de Koude Oorlog op de Sovjets, terwijl het Sovjetsysteem al in de 70er jaren op haar grondvesten wankelde, iets dat overigens bekend was in het Pentagon en bij organisaties als de CIA....... Wat de idioot Reagan wel voor elkaar kreeg was het eerder genoemde bijna faillissement van de VS, waar zoals gezegd de burgers in de VS en dan m.n. de grote onderlaag het slachtoffer was!! Wat dacht u verder van de geweldige prestatie van het mijnen leggen in de havens van Nicaragua, waarvoor de VS zelfs werd veroordeeld door het Internationaal Gerechtshof. Zo is de VS tot nu toe het enige 'land' dat wegens terrorisme werd veroordeeld (natuurlijk zonder enige consequentie, de VS zegde na die veroordeling, de deelneming aan dit gerechtshof op...)....

Dan heb ik nog niet gesproken over de enorme hoeveelheden cocaïne en andere drugs, die door de VS overheid, middels 'undercover' acties, de VS werden binnengebracht en daar op straat werden verkocht....... Het toppunt van dit willens en wetens drugs op de markt brengen, door de overheid, kwam onder Reagan tot grote bloei!! Terwijl onder zijn bewind, de gevangenissen vol stroomden met (gekleurde) drugsgebruikers, die door undercover dealers werden ingerekend........

Nee, 'echt een geweldige president' die Reagan en een enorme opgeblazen nitwit oliebol, die Hammelburg!!!

Jimmy Carter, een uiterst lamme analyse van Willem Post (hoe kan 't ook anders?)......

Willem Post was vanmiddag te horen op Radio1, daar gaf hij een 'analyse' over het presidentschap van Jimmy Carter (90 jaar), dit n.a.v. diens opname in het ziekenhuis. De grote inflatie en werkloosheid onder Jimmy Carter zouden Reagan ( de volgende president van de VS) zijn winst hebben gegeven......

Carter stelde in zijn verkiezingscampagne dat het afgelopen moest zijn met het liegen van machthebbers in de VS, daar wreven de journalisten zich 'natuurlijk' in de handen, daar je altijd compromissen moet sluiten in de politiek, aldus Post. Je zou verwachten dat Post dan met voorbeelden zou komen, daar hij in feite stelt, dat ook Carter zou hebben gelogen, maar niets van dat alles...... Leuk ook, dat Post ervan uitgaat, dat zittende regeringen altijd liegen, terwijl hij in zijn andere suffe commentaren alleen Rusland, Griekenland en andere in zijn ogen foute regeringen, dan wel dictators, beschuldigt van liegen, dat zal je hem niet horen zeggen over onze regering, dan wel die van de VS........ Maar 'het was zo goed als gezegd', ook Carter heeft gelogen, dat laatste blijft hangen en daar gaat 't om bij geschiedvervalsing........

Al vrij vlot in het gesprek stelde Post, dat het presidentschap van Carter een inktzwart presidentschap was........ Ja, hij noemde nog wel de eerste vorderingen met gesprekken tussen de Israëliërs en de Palestijnen, plus de verdere pogingen om tot vrede te komen in het Midden-Oosten, dat laatste was volgens Post toch eigenlijk mislukt, hoewel Carter wel vrede tussen Israël en Egypte voor elkaar kreeg.... Me dunkt geen geringe prestatie, waar je nog zijn inzet voor het arme deel van de VS en de wereld in het algemeen, bij op moet tellen. Een inzet ook t.b.v. goede huisvesting en sanitaire voorzieningen, voor arme mensen, waar dan ook, Carter was wat dat betreft eigenlijk de eerste grote machthebber, die e.e.a. op de 'wereldkaart' zette........

Zelf was ik benieuwd naar wat Post zou zeggen over de gijzeling in 1979 van VS ambassadepersoneel in Iran, dit gebeurde onder Carter. Eerst stelde Post, dat dit 3 jaar duurde, maar even later werd dit teruggebracht naar ruim een jaar (14 maanden, om precies te zijn). Volgens Post werd er later gezegd, dat Reagan en zijn mannen die gijzeling hebben misbruikt, maar dat is nooit bewezen......... Godverdomme! Dat is wel bewezen: Carter had in het geheim een overeenkomst gesloten met het Iraanse bewind, waar de gijzelaars vrij zouden komen voor de verkiezingen. Met de 'Iran-Contra-Affaire' (ook wel 'Irangate' genoemd), bekonkelden Reagan en zijn staf, dat de gijzelaars pas na de verkiezingen zouden vrijkomen, zodat hij Carter daar mee onderuit kon halen en de verkiezingen kon winnen (in feite een staatsgreep). In ruil daarvoor kregen de Iraniërs grote hoeveelheden wapens (tegen betaling). Met dat geld werden illegale acties van o.a. Oliver North in Midden-Amerika bekostigd, zo werden de psychopathische 'Contra's', die zich uiterst gewelddadig verzetten tegen de Nicaraguaanse regering van wapens en training voorzien, terwijl die Nicaraguaanse regering er een was, die zich voor het eerst sinds vele decennia inzette voor het volk. Een en ander werd geregeld via de door de CIA geparachuteerde president van Panama, Noriega (de coke-president die later terechtstond in de VS)......
Een en ander is intussen door diverse deskundigen uit en te na bewezen, maar dat past niet in het suffe pro-VS gelul van oliebol Post.......

Post kon er niet onderuit, Carter toch nog als uiterst humaan en sociaal weldenkend persoon af te schilderen, maar dat was van na zijn presidentschap, aldus Post. Al stelde hij nog wel enigszins sarcastisch, dat Carter zich de laatste decennia ook heeft ingezet voor de Palestijnen, iets dat hij gemeen heeft met van Agt (die daarvoor door Post en zijn colega's wordt gehekeld).......

Jezus wat een enorme berenlul, die Post!!
