Vluchtelingen op Lesbos staan aan de vooravond van een geestelijke gezondheidscrisis...................

Kreeg gisteren Via Anti-Media een artikel van Middle East Eye, waarin wordt gemeld dat de vluchtelingen op Lesbos in een geestelijke gezondheidscrisis gedompeld dreigen te worden.

De Griekse regering (in feite geregeerd door de Europese Commissie, de ECB en het IMF) heeft de medische hulp aan vluchtelingen uit Irak en Syrië met de helft teruggebracht....... Artsen zonder grenzen (MSF) heeft de noodklok geluid over suïcides, zelfmutilatie en seksueel geweld in de overvolle (provisorische) kampen waar 4.700 mensen worden opgevangen........

Ondanks de 'geweldige vluchtelingendeal' met Turkije, komen er meer en meer vluchtelingen aan op Lesbos en andere Griekse eilanden........ Het heeft de EU een paar miljard euro's aan belastinggeld gekost, terwijl het aantal vluchtelingen uit Turkije met de maand stijgt.......

De vluchtelingen zijn voor een overgroot deel getraumatiseerd al voor hun vlucht (meestal door verlies van gezins- en andere familieleden, plus het verlies 'van huis en haard'), waarna ze door de vlucht nog eens verder worden getraumatiseerd en nu worden ze op de koop toe getraumatiseerd in de kampen.......... In de opvangkampen lijden de mensen, die dringend psychische zorg nodig hebben) aan: depressies (30%), posttraumatische stressstoornissen (PTSS  Ook zo'n 30%), angststoornissen (30%) en de rest aan andere psychische stoornissen.........

Vrouwen die hulp zoeken bij gynaecologen, veelal vanwege seksueel geweld, kunnen niet terecht bij vrouwelijke artsen, omdat die er niet zijn, dit zorg er volgens MSF voor, dat veel gevallen van seksueel geweld niet worden onderkend........

Ongelofelijk dat de EU, dat in feite Griekenland leidt, dit alles kan laten gebeuren, zonder dat het ingrijpt..... Griekenland zit aan de grond en intussen weigeren de rest van de EU landen Griekenland te helpen, men wil zelfs niet (of bijzonder weinig) financieel en humanitair bijdragen........ Het toont nogmaals aan dat we niets hebben aan de inhumane dictatoriale EU en er zo snel mogelijk uit moeten stappen, voordat de EU het ook hier voor het zeggen krijgt! Het tempo waarmee Rutte 2 (en straks Rutte 3) delen van onze soevereiniteit overdraagt, maant tot spoed, voordat het echt te laat is: NEXIT NU!!!!!

Waar is de menselijkheid gebleven....??

Refugees on Lesbos are facing a mental health catastrophe as Greece cuts funding in half during the high season for arrivals and prioritises their deportations back to Turkey, a medical charity has said.

Suicide, self-harm and sexual abuse is rife among the 4,700 people of Moria and Kara Tepe camps, Doctors Without Borders said, and mental health services have been cut despite the daily number of new arrivals growing fourfold in less than three months.

"Vulnerable people are falling through the cracks and are not been adequately identified and cared for," said the charity's head of mission, Emilie Rouvroy.

"The difficult, overcrowded living conditions, the complicated legal system, and asylum seekers' deep medical suffering are compounded by an often deep loss of home, family, friends and the violence of the journey many refugees have made," said advocacy manager Louise Roland-Gosselin, who analysed the project's data:

"The alarm bells are ringing now."

The NGO, also known as MSF, said in its report on Monday that almost 80 percent of refugees who sought mental health assessments on the island were deemed severe enough to be taken into care.

Half of the women who sought gynaecological consultations had been victims of sexual violence, it said. The absence of any female doctors also made identifying cases of sexual violence difficult, the report said.

But resources to detect vulnerable refugees were cut in half in April 2017, according to the organisation, just as new arrivals began to spike as weather became calmer for crossings from Turkey.

One of two clinics closed, and the number of psychologists per shift fell from three to one and nurses from four to one. Cultural mediators have also been withdrawn.

About 4,700 refugees currently live in the two refugee camps on the island as they await the outcome of their asylum claim from Greece's overburdened refugee services.

Among refugees assessed by the organisation between 1 January and mid-June, a third had symptoms of post-traumatic stress, a third had symptoms of depression, a third suffered from anxiety and four percent from psychotic disorders. The figures are not cumulative.

"It is common to see scars from cutting or cigarette burns on patients' arms and legs, and many share thoughts of wishing to drown themselves or fall from a tall building or cliff," they were quoted by the report as saying.

"These thoughts and behaviours appear to demonstrate the pervasive hopelessness people feel regarding their futures."

'Alarm bells are ringing'

Conditions at Moria have been consistently condemned by human rights groups and NGOs, particularly since March 2016 when refugees landing on the island were forbidden from leaving under the terms of an agreement between the EU and Turkey designed to stem the flow of refugees arriving by boat in Europe.

Arrivals of refugees on the Greek islands from Turkey have drastically reduced. An average of 1,100 refugees were arriving daily in Greece in March 2016 before the agreement came into force.

The current average daily number of arrivals has fallen to 73, but MSF has warned that the summer season has seen a fourfold increase, putting added strain on the island's overstretched facilities.

A total of 785 people arrived on Lesbos in the first three weeks of June, as compared to 230 people in April and 530 in May.

The camp has been the site of regular violent protests and rioting, as asylum procedure delays, overcrowding and poor conditions led to tensions between the camp's residents and authorities.

Clashes broke out twice last week with local media reports of tents being set alight by camp residents as frustration boiled over.

A Lesbos based refugee legal centre reported that 35 individuals were arrested because of the disturbances.

DEA (VS) verklaart cannabis als ongevaarlijk, maar weigert de medicinale kracht van cannabis te erkennen........

Anti-Media bracht afgelopen woensdag het bericht dat de Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in de VS cannabis als ongevaarlijk genotsmiddel heeft gekwalificeerd. Sterker nog het gebruik van cannabis geeft een groot aantal voordelen!!

Zo wordt je gelukkig en vrolijk door het gebruik van cannabis, het zorgt voor socialisering, spraakzaamheid en laat de gebruiker beter genieten van muziek en kunst, aldus de DEA rapportage.

'Uiteraard' wijst de DEA wel op negatieve effecten die kunnen optreden na het gebruik van cannabis, zoals bronchitis en longemfyseem, terwijl daar bij gebruik van cannabis zonder tabak geen bewijzen voor zijn.

De DEA wil verder niet ingaan op de sterk geneeskrachtige werking van cannabis en producten gemaakt van cannabis, dit alleen omdat cannabis op de nummer 1 lijst voor (verboden/gevaarlijke) drugs staat....... ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

In het rapport van de DEA 'Drugs of Abuse' staat vreemd genoeg niet de harddrug die verreweg de meeste schade toebrengt en dat op meerdere vlakken, alcohol!!

Het valt nog mee dat de DEA 'zo gunstig rapporteerde' over cannabis, daar de alcoholindustrie via lobby kapitalen steekt in het verboden houden van o.a. cannabis.........

Al met al een mooi artikel van Carey Wedler, ook informatief over andere drugs als MDMA en LSD. Voorts wijst Wedler op de hypocrisie t.a.v. voorschrift medicatie in de rapportage van de DEA, die vooral in de VS voor veel problemen zorgt en een enorm aantal doden veroorzaakt, zoals men het afgelopen jaar een aantal keren heeft gemeld in de reguliere VS media......

The DEA Just Admitted Weed Has Never Killed Anyone and Causes ‘Happiness’

(ANTIMEDIA Op-ed) The Drug Enforcement Agency just admitted that cannabis has never killed anyone. Ever. They also acknowledged that the little green plant, which has been used across civilizations for thousands of years, causes “merriment” and “happiness.” But they still want to keep it illegal.

The new 94-page report released this week is entitled “Drugs of Abuse” and is intended to foster a better understanding of the dangers of drug consumption. “Education plays a critical role in preventing substance abuse,” the document opens. “Drugs of Abuse, A DEA Resource Guide, is designed to be a reliable resource on the most commonly abused and misused drugs in the United States.”

While the report correctly includes seriously dangerous drugs like heroin, fentanyl, and pharmaceutical opioids, it also includes substances increasingly proven to be far less harmful than the government would like its citizens to believe — “drugs” that actually have medicinal properties. The report fails to acknowledge these benefits throughout its in-depth explanations.

Nevertheless, when it comes to cannabis, the DEA is surprisingly honest, at least in part. Describing the plant for what it is — a “dry, shredded green/brown mix of flowers, stems, seeds, and leaves” — they note that “[n]o deaths from overdose of marijuana have been reported.”

They even acknowledge that cannabis use can cause “[m]erriment, happiness, and even exhilaration at high doses,” as well as “[d]isinhibition, relaxation, increased sociability, and talkativeness.” The illegal, allegedly dangerous substance even causes — gasp — “[e]nhanced sensory perception, giving rise to increased appreciation of music, art, and touch.”

Of course, the report focuses far more on the “dangerous” effects of the plant, including bronchitis, emphysema, paranoia, anxiety, panic attacks, and a litany of other alleged dangers. Despite the fact that research has found marijuana use has few significant effects on lung health — far less than legal tobacco use — and the fact that mounting evidence shows varieties of cannabis like CBD (cannabidiol) can help treat anxiety and other mental health ailments, the DEA displays no such nuance in their explanations, instead appearing to base their assessment of safety on the legality of the drug.

For example, though they claim cannabis can cause nausea, they go on to explain in the very same section that “Marinol, a synthetic version of THC, the active ingredient found in the marijuana plant, can be prescribed for the control of nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapeutic agents used in the treatment of cancer and to stimulate appetite in AIDS patients.”

Wait, what?

Indeed, though cannabis is indisputably a form of medicine, whether for nausea, anxiety, Parkinson’s disease, Crohn’s disease, chronic pain, or countless other disorders, the DEA insists that because it is a Schedule I drug, it has no medicinal value.

The same pattern emerges with psychedelic drugs, which the federal government also claims have no medicinal value despite increasing evidence that MDMA can help treat PTSD (the FDA itself has authorized research into the drug’s potential for helping those who suffer with it) and that psychedelic mushrooms and LSD can help treat depression.

None of this is acknowledged in the report. Instead, myths that they are addictive and dangerous abound.

Further, conspicuously absent from “Drugs of Abuse” is one of the most dangerous, addictive, and harmful drugs in the history of mankind: alcohol. According to the government, itself, alcohol is responsible for 88,000 deaths per year in the United States, and 15.1 million Americans suffer from “Alcohol Use Disorder.” But the substance remains legal. Interestingly, the alcohol industry remains one of the largest anti-marijuana legalization lobbies.

The agency’s dogmatic adherence to arbitrary law is the reason why alcohol is excluded from this comprehensive attempt to educate Americans on the dangers of substance abuse. As the report explains in the introduction, “There are also a number of substances that are abused but not regulated under the CSA [Controlled Substance Act]. Alcohol and tobacco, for example, are specifically exempt from control by the CSA,” and are therefore not included in “Drugs of Abuse.”

Other hypocrisies abound. For example, the report lists benzodiazepines like Xanax as potentially addictive drugs, noting that those who use “benzodiazepines to treat anxiety are likely to be physically dependent on that medication.” But according to the CSA, on which they base their entire drug enforcement agenda, drugs like Xanax have “low potential for abuse and low risk of dependence.” This is patently false, as 13.5 million Americans are dependent on drugs like Xanax, overdoses are on the rise, and side effects of quitting the drug include heart palpitations, panic attacks, and seizures in extreme cases. Yet the DEA, which enforces the CSA, admits in its own report that Xanax causes physical dependency.

Ultimately, while the DEA admits cannabis has never caused deaths and can make for a good deal of “merriment” and “exhilaration,” the most telling aspect of the report is the futility of banning drugs in the first place. The exclusion of alcohol from this report — except the countless instances where it acknowledges that the drug can intensify other drug experiences — shows the federal government’s tirades against “drugs” have nothing to do with keeping people safe. Prohibition in the 1920s proved this, and the ongoing failure that is the “War on Drugs” continues to prove it today.

Even abusing the dangers of cannabis, MDMA, and other drugs the DEA lists in its report are accurate, the fact remains that other legal drugs pose just as many, if not more dangers, and individuals should be free to take risks with their own health, just as they are with alcohol and tobacco.

Legal or not, people will find ways to use drugs, and while the authors of “Drugs of Abuse” likely have good intentions, their efforts are futile in their lack of honesty about many of the substances listed and their continued belief that more government and throwing non-violent people in cages will solve the deeply-rooted problem of addiction.

Nederlandse Veteranendag: ook voor 'Indië veteranen..............'

Hoorde een dag of tien geleden een spotje van de Stichting Nederlandse Veteranendag op de radio, waar men speciaal de aandacht vestigde op de veteranen die in Indonesië zo gruwelijk tekeer zijn gegaan (en dat allesbehalve 'incidenteel')...............

Dit terwijl de Nederlandse regering het verdomt om excuses te maken voor de smerige koloniale oorlog van Nederland tegen het Indonesische volk........

Waarom moet er ééns per jaar een veteranendag worden gehouden? Je zou je nog kunnen voorstellen dat er voor de destijds uitgezonden dienstplichtigen, een dag wordt belegd, echter voor de beroepsmilitairen zo'n dag beleggen, is vragen om moeilijkheden.

Zij hebben de laatste 25 jaar veelal meegewerkt aan illegale oorlogen (door de VS begonnen, of door VS machinaties uitgebroken oorlogen), moeten we daar trots op zijn??

Bovendien aardig hypocriet van de Nederlandse overheid (en regering), die immers zo min mogelijk ex-militairen wil erkennen als getraumatiseerd (posttraumatische stressstoornis ofwel: PTSS).......

Kortom: moeten we trots zijn op heel foute militaire acties?? (uiteraard hebben veel militairen geen misdaden begaan en zijn ze min of meer gedwongen mee te doen aan die foute acties)

Moet dit jaarlijks gevierd worden, o.a. middels het overvliegen van militair tuig (met een oorverdovende herrie), zoals straaljagers die zelfs burgerslachtoffers hebben gemaakt? Neem verder de oorlogsmisdaden begaan in het toenmalige Joegoslavië en later Servië, waar o.a. burgerdoelen werden gebombardeerd onder NAVO vlag........ Overigens het schijnt dat er vandaag ook op Haagse grond veel rollend (en stinkend) militair tuig te zien is geweest, dit ter ere van historische (vaak fout) geweld.......

Kap ajb met deze hypocriete en foute verering van het leger, het is meer dan walgelijk!! Een goede zorg voor veteranen en echt kritisch nadenken voordat er militairen worden uitgezonden (naar landen waar we niets te zoeken hebben) is veel belangrijker!

Kinderen worden in VS gevangen gehouden daar gevluchte ouders 'illegaal zijn..........'

Gisteren ontving ik een dringende oproep van Amnesty in de VS, een petitie te tekenen tegen het opsluiten van kinderen..... Kinderen die samen met hun moeder gevangen zijn gezet daar ze illegaal in de VS zouden zijn.

Deze mensen zijn geen 'gelukszoekers' (voor wat die achterlijke term waard is), maar vluchtelingen voor extreem geweld in eigen land........

AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL USA LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN TO FREE YOUNG CHILDREN AND MOTHERS DETAINED BY ICE FOR OVER 500 DAYS
Amnesty International USA (AIUSA) is launching a campaign today urging Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to release several families with young children being detained at the Berks County Residential Center in Pennsylvania. Four of the 35 children currently detained at Berks – aged three, four, seven and 16 – have been at the Center for over 500 days, despite having pending applications for legal permanent residency.

AIUSA sent a letter to ICE on March 9 requesting that these families be granted parole and is mobilizing its over 1.2 million U.S. members and supporters to call the agency to demand that the families be released.

“These four children have spent a significant amount of their lives essentially behind bars. The U.S. cannot continue to treat those fleeing horrific violence like criminals,” said Margaret Huang, Amnesty International USA executive director. “These families were detained under the Obama administration’s unlawful policy of using detention as deterrence against those fleeing violence and insecurity. Now, in the face of President Trump’s aggressive and inhumane immigration orders, we are deeply concerned for these families and others like them in the U.S. We will fight to ensure that people with asylum claims are given a fair hearing and humane treatment.We must do everything we can to ensure protection for people who are fleeing violence.”

Researchers from Amnesty International have worked closely with attorneys who represent the families held in Berks County, one of three family detention centers operated by the U.S. government. Berks is currently holding 34 families – 15 of them for more than a year – many of whom come from a region known as the Northern Triangle which includes El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. The Northern Triangle is an area widely recognized for its extreme levels of violence and insecurity, which Amnesty has also documented extensively.

• Three-year-old Josué* has spent over half his life in detention. He learned to walk and talk in confinement. He and his 28-year-old mother Teresa have spent 16 months (500 days, and counting) at Berks. Josué and his mother fled kidnapping threats, physical and sexual assault in Honduras and came to the US seeking asylum. “[My son]…is so young, he was only 22 months when we came and now he’s three years old,” Teresa said in an interview with her lawyers.
  
• Four-year-old Carlos and his mother, 34-year-old Lorena, fled threats, intimidation and severe and repeated gender-based violence in Honduras. They have spent 16 months in detention.
  
• Seven-year-old Antonio and his mother Marlene, 24,have one of the longest detention periods at Berks – 550 days and counting. Currently in their 18th month of detention, Marlene recounts how Antonio has already spent two Christmas in detention. “It’s not fair for a child to spend a year and a half in prison”, she said, adding that the impact of prolonged detention is taking a toll on them. “The psychological effect it has on a person, and their kids…we can’t bear it anymore.”
  
• At age 16, Michael is the oldest child at Berks County. He and his 41-year-old mother Maribel, have been held in detention for nearly 17 months. Michael was targeted for gang recruitment in El Salvador and threatened with death. Following constant threats to the family, both mother and son escaped to the U.S. to seek asylum. Michael wants to be a police officer now.
  

All four children were granted a Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) in late 2016. With SIJS, a state court has determined that it is not in a minor’s best interest to return to his or her home country because of abuse, abandonment, or neglect by one or both parents. In this instance it was determined that these children “were abandoned, abused, or neglected by [their] father[s]…as such, [their] mother[s] are now the custodial parent, and responsible for all decision regarding their court proceedings, custody and care.” 

Therefore, it is essential that the mothers and children be released together. Three of the children have already been issued their Employment Authorization Document in January 2017, and one is awaiting his. 

This enables them to apply for a social security number. All have pending applications for legal permanent residency. Further, their mothers have stays of removal granted by the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, while they challenge their removal orders in federal court.


Each of the four families has an unchallenged sponsor in the United States, who is ready and willing to take them in, and ensure their appearance in court. Despite this, their SIJ status, and pending applications for legal permanent residency, ICE officials refuse to release these four children and their mothers from detention.

Gisteren het bericht, dat Karskens in Goede Morgen Nederland zou hebben gezegd, dat 9 van de 10 asielzoekers niet uit oorlogsgebied komen...... Die bewering hielp Karskens de wereld uit, dit zou hij niet gezegd hebben....

Nee, Karskens zou gezegd hebben, dat 9 van de 10 asielzoekers geen oorlogstrauma hebben opgelopen.......... Hoe hij dat weet? Simpel: Karskens heeft e.e.a.vergeleken met het aantal posttraumatische stressstoornissen (PTSS) van militairen uit oorlogsgebied........ ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Waar haalt de hufter het vandaan? Militairen gaan hier vrijwillig in dienst, zij weten dat ze uitgezonden kunnen worden naar oorlogsgebied, daar wordt op getraind en op andere manieren geanticipeerd, zodat men weet welke gruwelen men zoals tegen kan komen......

Dat is wel even anders, dan mensen die in een gebied wonen, waar door het westen een illegale oorlog wordt gevoerd en waar men door bijvoorbeeld westers gesteunde 'gematigde rebellen' uit het huis wordt getrokken, om te zien hoe familieleden gemarteld, verkracht en als het tegen zit vermoord worden...... Of mensen wiens huis werd gebombardeerd door westerse straaljagers, bommenwerpers en tot de tanden bewapende helikopters. Alsof die mensen gevraagd hebben om oorlog, sterker nog: of ze zijn voorbereid op het zien van bijvoorbeeld aan stukken gereten kinderen enz., enz..........

Bovendien was het Karskens nog niet opgevallen, dat een PTSS bij militairen (en anderen, zoal vluchtelingen) regelmatig 'onderhuids woedt', waar deze trauma's soms pas na jaren echt naar buiten komen, als is de tijd na terugkomst uit oorlogsgebied veelal niet prettig, niet voor de militair, niet voor de vluchteling en de mensen in de buurt van deze traumaslachtoffers............ Bovendien: vluchtelingen raken in oorlogsgebied vaak in een shock, een shock die niet behandeld kan worden, men is immers op de vlucht.......

Hoorde dat het CBS stelt, dat 50% van de vluchtelingen niet uit oorlogsgebied komt, ook al komen deze vluchtelingen bijvoorbeeld uit Afghanistan of Irak........ Het is het CBS nog niet opgevallen, dat je gezien het aantal doden en de gebieden waar sinds respectievelijk 2001 en 2003 werd (en nog wordt) gevochten, bijna geen gebied in Afghanistan en Irak kan aanwijzen, waar de oorlog niet heeft gewoed!! Alsof die vluchtelingen dan toch het gevoel kunnen hebben, dat ze veilig zijn in eigen land....... Ach ja, de cijfergoochelaars van het CBS, totaal onbetrouwbaar en een volkomen gebrek aan empathie!!

Tot slot: Karskens heeft het over vluchtelingen, die dat zijn geworden door illegaal westers ingrijpen in landen als Afghanistan, Irak, Libië, Syrië en Eritrea......... En oh ja: Karskens is geen psychiater of psycholoog......

Peter van Uhm (ex-commandant strijdkrachten): met betere wapens had Nederland de nazi-Duitse inval kunnen tegenhouden...... ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Peter van Uhm, het ex-opperhoofd met de koperenfluit van de Landstrijdkrachten was gisteren na 9.30 u. te gast bij BNR. Uiteraard veel gezeur over gebrek aan geld voor defensie, terwijl men daar zo ongeveer kampioen inefficiënt werken is (althans wat betreft de overheid) en daarmee kapitalen aan belastinggeld verspilt.

Natuurlijk is van Uhm wel voor het belasting verslindende waardeloze straalvliegtuig JSF........ Logisch toch, dat de (ex-) top van de strijdkrachten voor de JSF is, een vliegtuig dat geen straaljager genoemd kan worden, daar het niet snel genoeg rent, klimt en wendt. Een toestel dat alleen kan opstijgen als het Pentagon groen licht geeft (men kan vanuit de VS het gebruik blokkeren), een toestel waarvan de stealth technologie al door de Russen is gekraakt, zodat hun wel echte jager, de Sukhoi 35 de waardeloze JSF wel kan zien op de radar en een toestel waarvan de Chinezen de blauwdrukken via een hack hebben gestolen uit het Pentagon.........

De meest opmerkelijke uitspraak van van Uhm, vond ik wel de opmerking dat wanneer Nederland in mei 1940 beter bewapend was geweest, 'we' de Duitsers hadden kunnen tegenhouden........ ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Wat een enorme dwaas!! Als Nederland beter bewapend was geweest, waren er nog veel meer burgerslachtoffers gevallen, terwijl het uiteindelijke resultaat, de bezetting van Nederland, niet was te stoppen, maar daar heeft de 'rechtgeaarde' militair natuurlijk schijt aan!!

'Logischerwijs' hoor je van Uhm niet over de militaire missies, die niet uit het defensie budget worden betaald, maar wel enorme bedragen aan belastinggeld opslurpen. Militaire missies in landen waar we niets te zoeken hebben en waar de rotzooi door ingrijpen van het westen alleen vergroot wordt, waar de aanvankelijke rotzooi in 90% van de gevallen ook nog eens door het westen is veroorzaakt....... Waar het westen aan de overblijvende conflicten fiks verdient middels wapenhandel en zelfs de conflicten stimuleert om maar zoveel mogelijk geld te kunnen verdienen.

Wat van Uhm wel wilde zeggen over de militaire missies, is dat 'we' naar de bronnen van ellende in de wereld moeten, waar hij niet alleen militaire conflicten mee bedoelde, maar ook zaken als drugsbestrijding........ Hoe bedoelt u, kapitein krentenkoek?? Moeten we de papavervelden in Afghanistan met napalm bombarderen, of grote delen van het Zuid-Amerikaanse oerwoud ongeschikt maken voor plantengroei?? Mafketel?? Zoals gezegd we hebben niets te zoeken in landen als Irak, Afghanistan, Libië of Syrië. De VS begon illegaal oorlogen tegen deze landen, waar die tegen Afghanistan nog een vleugje legaal was, ook al is het ingrijpen daar en daarmee de gesneuvelde soldaten, een zinloze missie geweest. Als morgen de laatste VS soldaten verdwijnen, is de Taliban overmorgen weer de machthebber in dat land.......

Wat betreft het budget wil van Uhm niet in de politiek treden, maar als er grenzen overschreden worden...... U snapt het al: Nederland overschrijdt de grenzen en zou er dus geld bij moeten, wat van Uhm nu alleen in bedekte termen wilde zeggen..... Van Uhm stelde met wat omhaal, dat het PTSS probleem bij veel veteranen te danken is aan een te krap defensiebudget.......... Die van Uhm durft wel hè, godallemachtig!! Defensie heeft jarenlang simpelweg ontkent dat er veel problemen waren wat betreft posttraumatische stress bij veteranen..........

Van Uhm moet weten, dat alle NAVO landen bij elkaar al 13 keer meer uitgeven aan defensie, dan de Russen en de Chinezen bij elkaar opgeteld...... Hoeveel meer moet dit worden, voordat figuren als van Uhm tevreden zijn, 20 keer meer, of 50 keer meer??? Waar slaat 't op??!!!

Kortom: ook van Uhm is grootlobbyist van het militair-industrieel complex...... De hoogste tijd voor een (wereldwijd) grondig onderzoek naar de nauwe banden van hoge militairen met deze doodsindustrie!!

Korps Commandotroepen krijgt Willemsorde voor moorddadig werk in zinloze Afghanistan oorlog..........

Afgelopen dinsdag was het nieuws over een Willemsorde voor het Korps Commandotroepen niet van de landelijke nieuws radiozenders (2 stuks..) te slaan. Het Korps kreeg de Willemsorde voor haar 'heilzame' werk in Afghanistan, tijdens de periode in de zinloze oorlog, waar Nederland haar kogeltje bijdroeg....

Die Commandotroepen zijn o.a. goed in het standrechtelijk executeren van verdachten, veelal in de nachtelijke uren...... Het is dan ook 'normaal' dat je, om deel uit te kunnen maken van dit Korps, minimaal een gewetenloze psychopaat moet zijn..... Vandaar ook, dat men niet bekend wil maken, wat dit korps op haar geweten heeft.......

Uiteraard was dit bekend bij de tekstschrijver van het nationale waterhoofd Willem Alexander, die de prijs uitreikte. Geen nood, na enig overleg met de korpsleiding, kreeg deze tekstschrijver een voorbeeld dat W.A. kon gebruiken. Het ging om een nachtelijke dropping per parachute, bovenop een berg, zodat de tegenstand van de Taliban daar kon worden gebroken.

De schrijver ging wel behoorlijk de mist in, toen hij W.A. liet zeggen: "Wie de verhalen hoort heeft diep ontzag...." ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Met andere woorden, of we de mislukte vastgoedmagnaat W.A. maar even op z'n blauwe ogen willen vertrouwen. Waarmee hij juist weer aandacht vestigde op het stiekeme smerige werk van de commando's, dat niet genoemd mag worden........

Waarom het voorbeeld dat W.A. noemde, niet gewoon in de media wordt genoemd, is een raadsel, immers het betreft hier een militaire actie in oorlogsgebied. Ook al was dit een totaal zinloze oorlog, die naast een ongelofelijk aantal Afghaanse burgerslachtoffers, aan veel te veel jonge Nederlanders het leven heeft gekost.........

'Ontzag' is het woord dat W.A. gebruikte, hij had beter kunnen zeggen: 'Als je de verhalen hoort, slaat de angst je om het hart......' Immers de verhalen die geheim moeten blijven zijn voor 99% heel smerige acties, waaruit blijkt, dat eigenlijk niemand veilig is voor deze psychopaten.... Vergeet niet, dat deze commando's ook toeslaan in landen, waarmee Nederland niet in oorlog is.......

Dat men meer en meer de aandacht vestigt op het toekennen van 'ordes' aan militairen, heeft van alles te maken met het ronselen van veel te jonge mensen voor het moorddadige werk, dat de militairen uitvoeren...... Deze ceremonies zijn er dan ook op gericht, jongeren te trekken voor het leger......

Logisch dat men zich op jonge mensen richt, immers iemand van 25+ zal wel uitkijken, dat hij/zij tekent voor dit moorddadige 'beroep'. Vandaar ook dat zoveel van deze jonge mensen na een uitzending lijden aan een posttraumatische stressstoornis (PTSS)..........

Voorts zijn dit soort ceremonies bedoeld voor de politiek: het teken dat er meer geld naar het ministerie van Defensie moet (lees: het ministerie van Oorlog)........

De VS, een duivels imperium, dat achter haar psychopathisch moordende troepen staat??

Het volgende artikel van ICH handelt over de steun van de VS burgers voor het leger. It’s Time to Stop “Supporting Our Troops”

December 13, 2015 "Information Clearing House" - With the 115 year old tradition of the annual Army-Navy football classic on Saturday, the so called “America’s game” and “rivalry for the ages” is now once again upon us. This occasion never fails to pay reverent homage to America’s so called “cream of the crop” elitist military academies and always from the president to celebrities Americans give tribute to our armed forces. At this time we hear that familiar patriotic mantra “support our troops” mindlessly repeated. So it seems appropriate now to take a cold hard look to examine what it actually means to “support our troops.”

As both a West Point graduate and critic of the American Empire, to me the “support our troops” sentiment has long outworn its propagandized welcome. US Empire has been using that contrite expression to brainwash Americans and justify its wars and violence for far too long. It sprang up during this last decade’s protracted war losses in Iraq and Afghanistan. Never was it ever heard during the Vietnam War when our combat veterans returned home feeling defeated and suffering from untreated PTSD symptoms, shunned by a nation that had bitterly turned against them and their war, particularly by their own peer group. Fast forward to four decades and three war defeats later, and our government is still sending Americans off to fight and die inAfghanistan (9800 currently) and Iraq (3500 with another 100 on the way), and now in Syria (50 just proposed with more on the way while war-hawk Bobbsy twins McCain and Graham are calling for 20,000 more troops in Syria). But this century's wars we keep hearing red, white and blue, flag waving Americans urging us to “support our troops.”

Over the long haul, supporting our troops has resulted in the United States being the most warring, aggressive nation on earth, bar none. As we’re about to enter 2016, our ultraviolent country will be killing other human beings somewhere on this planet for 223 out of the last 240 total years the US has been in existence. That’s 93% of our time as a nation-turned-Empire we’ve been destroying human life. That’s certainly nothing to be proud of. Yet it’s “our troops” who’ve been the murdering culprit. No compassionate, rational person could possibly place blindly obedient support behind such rampantly wanton disregard and contempt for fellow human life.

Another fact that Americans can’t be proud of is knowing that the most warring nation on earth just since World War II alone has murdered up to 30 million people around the globe with an estimated 90% of them being civilians. Having initiated 201 out of the total of 240 armed conflicts from the end of WWII to 2001, it then follows that between those years the US Empire of Chaos and Destruction has murdered 27 million innocent people whose lives have tragically been cut short through no fault of their own for simply living in the wrong place at the wrong time belonging to the wrong ethnic nationality targeted by America’s full spectrum dominance and global superpower hegemony. And that was before the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

And what does it take to be targeted as a US foreign enemy? Any country whose leaders choose to support their own citizens’ well-being, independence and quality of life over US Empire’s fascist transnational corporate interests is attacked economically through sanctions and embargos, politically through propaganda lies and threats, or militarily though unnatural disasters/weather warfare, occupied invasions involving long term bloody conflict or acts of terrorism, coups and assassinations. Just ask Cuba, Venezuela, Haiti, Panama, Iran, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, Congo North Korea, Donbas, Palestine or Russia just to name more than a dozen.

People around the world have been victimized for well over a century by American Empire’s willful rape and pillage of their lands in the name of stolen natural resources and inhumane forced slave labor, and those are the nations whose puppet dictators willingly succumbed and acquiesced to US demands and pressures. In fact in the tradition of the British Empire, North America’s entire domestic and foreign history has been made of genocidal killing, enslaving, stealing and subjugating other darker-skinned races into death and submission. Given this context with the bigger picture perspective, “supporting our troops” is really supporting mass murder around the world. So bearing that sobering, grim reality in mind, it’s time for Americans to cease and desist with their jingoistic rah-rah that only adds insult to injury to the rest of the victimized world.

In 2008 the US spent more money every 5 seconds to wage an immoral, unlawful war in Iraq than the average working American earned all year long. 80% of America’s taxes are earmarked towards funding the annual Pentagon budget to wage war around the world. When that kind of war investment misappropriating US citizenry’s hard-earned tax dollars places such lopsided priority over the well-being of its own people, with over a decade of wearing down an overextended military forced into fighting three, four and even five consecutive combat tours on two simultaneous warfronts, it also overburdened and decimated America’s middle class. 

And now for the first time in nearly a half century, the US middle class is no longer a majority in the United States. A large chunk of it died when sinking into an expanding lower class of impoverished, poverty-stricken Americans barely making ends meet. Half the respondents in a recent survey say they either break even or make less than their cost of living

expenses. As anoligarchy the US federal government no longer acts in the best interests of its citizens.

But considering the costs of war to victim nations where since 2003 the US has killed over a million people in Iraq alone, this figure released from a study earlier this year is admittedly a conservative estimate. The study concludes that up to two million in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan have been killed by America’s wars. These colossal crimes against humanity constitute supporting the US federal government as well as its military troops a moral crime. America’s complete and utter destruction of the world’s second and third largest oil producers in Iraq and Libya, turning them into failed states because their one time US allied leaders moved away from the US petrodollar is unconscionable, yet that’s the tragic outcome of blindly supporting our troops. More than any other single country, the US today is responsible for allowing ISIS tomake billions in profit from stolen oil from Iraq and Syria financing the biggest terrorist group on the planet. And US partners-in-crime Turkey and Israel are the two biggest buyers of terrorist oil. So in effect supporting our troops is also supporting both crimes against humanity as well as worldwide terrorism.

Supporting our troops has contributed to the world becoming far more armed and dangerous today than at any prior time in our recorded human history. Our nation is also responsible forspearheading the biggest arms race in history where it’s not just the US Empire spending so many billions on weapons of mass destruction but due to Empire aggression it has forced Russia and China to answer by also significantly increasing their military spending. A dozen years ago the US defense budget nearly equaled the rest of the world combined. But during this century’s two protracted US wars plus smaller secret ones around the world, America’s military expenditures have soared to $682 billion in 2012 from $417.4 in 2003. The exponential rise of American aggression likewise has pressured the unilaterally declared US enemies Russia and China to significantly increase their military spending as well. The US has gone from spending near half (46%) of the world’s military amount in 2003 to just 35% in 2014 due to Russia and China dramatically expanding their military budgets. In fact following America’s lead, both the world’s annual arms sales as well as its military budgets have exponentially skyrocketed amongst dozens of countries all seemingly gearing up for “the big one.” Not surprisingly, at 31% the US is also the biggest arms dealer on the planet followed by Russia’s 27% with China accounting for 5% during the period from 2010-2014 that totaled a 16% increase from arms sold from 2005-2009.

Events and developments have escalated tensions and confrontations between the US and Russia and China in recent weeks. With the US backing NATO member Turkey recklessly shootingdown a Russian fighter jet resulting in a Russian rescue helicopter also brought down last month, in addition to the probable ISIS bomb taking down the Russian airliner killing all 224 onboard a month and a half ago, the US Navy destroyer skirting inside the twelve nautical mile range of built up Chinese islands in the South China Sea, the United States and the West appear to be baiting Putin and the East into World War III. And with nuclear powers going directly head-to-head in Syria, Ukraine and Asia, self-annihilation of the human race becomes a very real and grave risk culminating after a quarter century of US Empire belligerently operating as the sole global superpower and "global village" bully.  

Out of nearly 200 countries no other nation on earth has more than a few military bases outside its own country except the United States. In contrast to the rest of the world, the US sends 1.5 million military occupiers on active duty to over a thousand military installations on every continent throughout the globe. Just this week the Pentagon announced a worldwide expansion of military bases without specifying a total number under the auspices of secrecy. West Africa, East Africa and Afghanistan are slotted for full scale bases. Meanwhile US Special Forces that covertly operate by stealth surprise often at night in guerilla-type, fast strike operations are busily secretly committing acts of terror in over 135 nations globally, that’s about 75% of the all world’s nations.

Let’s look at the way our federal government supports our troops. After sending over 6800 US soldiers (along with 7000 civilian contractors) to their early graves fighting in America’s two longest running wars in the nation’s history, leaving one million wounded personnel filing VA claims ranging from life threatening physical injuries to emotionally crippling PTSD traumas and scars, the feds have betrayed our patriots serving our country by treasonously targeting all returning combat veterans as the biggest enemy threat on American soil. Indeed veterans, gun owners and dissidents are deemed to pose a greater danger than even the feds' own created terrorist monster ISIS that Obama's open border policy facilitates easy access to establishing terrorist cells inside America.

Those veterans seeking help are customarily snowed under by lethal Big Pharma poison, fast becoming addicted and even more unstable. Many are haplessly waiting and dying on lists for medical services that often don’t come soon enough. Exposing forty veterans who died awaiting services on invisible lists at the Phoenix VA hospital alone triggered a major scandal last year. For several years running on average twenty-two veterans have been killing themselves each and every day in the United States. The overloaded Veterans Administration has been caught grossly ill-prepared to adequately deal with the sheer enormity of the problem with so many severely damaged ex-soldiers in dire need of long term assistance and care. One study predicts that up to nearly a half million veterans will end up with criminal cases in the court system.

With nearly half (44%) of Congress millionaires and so few (19%) ever serving in uniform now, the DC warmongers are ever-at-the-ready to send young men and women from America’s lower class into harm’s way fighting Obama’s dirty little secret wars in multiple combat zones around the world that the public never even hears about. Yet you’ll see next to none of their own sons or daughters fighting in some far off war. The way our own government has used, abused and not supported our troops is despicable.

And then a sizeable percentage of those Americans who are so vocal in their claims of “supporting our troops,” are too frequently disingenuous. Often hypocrites merely mouth the same banal platitudes year after year from their ivory-towered, pretend world, living so far removed and disaffected from actual war conditions or even knowing anyone who wears a military uniform. Never fathoming the tragic insanity or bloody lifelong consequences that US wars ravage on millions worldwide, permanently damaging all involved, Americans who haven’t a clue will glibly pay lip service, “We owe so much to our soldiers who fight to keep us safe and free.” What bubble, planet or century are they living on or in?

Since the inside coup of 9/11 was perpetrated, US citizens have become the murderous neocons’ war on terror victims as well, terrorized by their own international crime cabal government and militarized police state that’s effectively stolen their freedom and civil liberties while the guilty treasonously continue violating sworn oaths to uphold and protect both the Constitution and American people. Yet too many brainwashed, dumbed down and clueless in America don’t seem to get it. Maybe it’s because they’re bombarded 24/7 by MSM lies and disinformation that never expose the ugliness of war as it really is. The ruling elite controls all aspects of mass media, engaging in widespread censorship of films, television and video games where violence and war are only glorified. Military, CIA and FBI liaisons control every aspect of what comes out of Hollywood these days.

But over four decades of a volunteer army comprised of less than half of one percent of the total US population also contributes greatly to the widening disconnect between the 99+% civilian population and the less than 1% Americans in uniform. The atrocities and horror that the imperialistic Empire’s killing machine has inflicted on Third World nations half a world away may as well be billions of miles away on another planet or galaxy. Out of sight, out of mind goes many civilians’ insulated, tunnel version reality.

Those currently in uniform need to be reminded that they have a sworn duty to protect America from domestic and foreign enemies. As citizens who no longer live in a democratic republic but now a totalitarian police state, they need to recognize that their federal government has adiabolical agenda to enslave and eliminate fellow Americans. Instead of criminalizing dissent, the real domestic enemy has become the federal government and all Americans need to accept this tragic development. Therefore, both those already in uniform as well as those ready to sign up and allow themselves to become their crime cabal’s latest cannon fodder in the elite’s wars need to stand up and be counted as patriots loyal to their nation and fellow citizens rather than adhere to blind obedience to their psychopathic masters. It’s no longer okay to support the troops when they’re misdirected into committing treason against their own citizenry. Military personnel need to take responsibility for their actions and do what’s right by both their Constitution as well as humanity.

2015 has been a tumultuous year when by globalist design terrorism has expanded to all corners of the earth, spreading death, war and destruction in its wake. Meanwhile, feeling its economic prowess slipping away in the face of the emerging power of Eastern rivals China and Russia, the United States government has already conceded losing its war to retain the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency. The DC crime syndicate knows its days in power are numbered. Since the psychopaths ruling the planet are unwilling to relinquish their ruthless power of absolute control, they realize that using their Manchurian puppet president and his overstretched US Empire to recklessly do their dirty planetary bidding to successfully destroy the world’s most powerful nation sending Empire into rapid freefall decline on the way to one world government can only be achieved by igniting World War III against the Eastern powers just as their Ponzi-rigged, house of cards, debt-based global economy implodes on itself. So this late in the power elite’s endgame when we’re still hearing “support the troops,” in actuality it’s time to fight for our lives in support of humanity’s struggle for survival and good ultimately triumphing over evil.
