Russiagate: Trump heeft in zijn laatste dagen als president alle geheime FBI documenten over die leugen vrijgegeven

Een vreemde zet van Trump tijdens zijn laatste dagen in het Witte Huis: hij heeft een groot aantal geheime FBI documenten aangaande Russiagate vrijgegeven.

Wat iedereen al had kunnen weten (vooral de reguliere media en politici in zowel de VS als de rest van het westen) is dat de voormalige Britse agent Steele van MI6 expres zaken heeft gelekt die beschadigend waren voor Trump zoals Robert Mueller al had aangetoond.

Steele had 2 klanten, Hillary Clinton en de FBI, toen de CIA met de beschuldiging kwam dat Clinton een smerig spel had gespeeld in aanloop naar de presidentsverkiezingen in 2016 (wat Bernie Sanders de nominatie tot Democratisch presidentskandidaat kostte), heeft Steele zaken gelekt die beschadigend waren voor Trump, hij deed dat om het misdadig gedrag van Clinton uit de wind te houden.......

Zoals gezegd, iedereen die een beetje oplette (zoals D66 kwaadaardigheid Ollongren met opzet niet deed) had kunnen weten dat het hele Russiagate verhaal je reinste kul was. Echter de reguliere westerse (massa-) media en de meeste politici bleven (en blijven nog) vasthouden aan het Russiagate verhaal en dat heeft nogal wat gevolgen gehad, niet alleen voor Rusland, maar ook voor de burgers in westerse landen, bij wie haat en angst werd gezaaid tegen/voor de Russen..... Rusland werd overal van beschuldigd 'wat fout ging' (in de ogen van politici en de afhankelijke, niet objectieve westerse reguliere media), zoals het Oekraïne referendum, het Brexit referendum en het Catalaanse onafhankelijkheidsreferendum...... D66 oplichter en kwaadaardigheid Ollongren en anderen durfden een paar maanden geleden de Russen zelfs alweer te beschuldigen van het manipuleren van de Tweede Kamerverkiezingen a.s. 17 maart, zonder ook maar een flinter aan bewijs te geven........ (dat deed Ollongren overigens al veel eerder en dat in aanloop van de Gemeenteraardsverkiezingen van 21 maart 2018 en de Statenverkiezingen van 20 maart 2019........)

De laatste 4 jaar hebben diezelfde media en politici Trump en Rusland valselijk beschuldigd voor het manipuleren van de presidentsverkiezingen in 2016, wat plotseling stopte toen Biden werd gekozen tot Democratisch presidentskandidaat, terwijl die media en politici moord en brand schreeuwden toen Trump stelde dat de verkiezingen van afgelopen november werden gestoken ten voordele van Biden.......

Wat een zootje, ongelofelijk!!!

According to Fox Business News Lou Dobbs who today interviewed John Solomon, who was formerly an executive and editor-in-chief at The Washington Times, the remaining FBI documents on Russian collusion have been declassified and could be released as soon as Monday.

Solomon, an award-winning investigative journalist, said that the entire narrative of Trump Collusion was created and leaked to the news media to neutralize Hillary Clinton's concern that her email scandal had not gone away.

Solomon also said while confirming to Dobbs, that indeed "he can confirm" that the President has delivered, "in a big way" on one of his last remaining promises; to authorize the release of what he said is more than a "foot high stack of documents" - those which are the ones he said the FBI has tried to keep from the public for four years.

Delivering in his final days on one of his last unfulfilled promises, President Trump is declassifying a massive trove of FBI documents showing the Russia collusion story was leaked in the final weeks of the 2016 election in an effort to counteract Hillary Clinton's email scandal.

The memos to be released as early as Friday include FBI interviews and human source evaluation reports for two of the main informants in the Russia case, former MI6 agent Christopher Steele and academic Stefan Halper.

The president authorized the release of a foot-high stack of internal FBI and DOJ* documents that detail significant flaws in the investigation and provide a detailed timeline of when the FBI first realized the Steele dossier was problematic, multiple government officials told Just the News.

Among the bombshell revelations is an admission by Steele that he violated his confidential human source agreement with the FBI and leaked information from his dossier to the news media in the final weeks of the election because he wanted to counteract new revelations in the Hillary Clinton email scandal that were hurting her election efforts. The former foreign intelligence officer made the confession in a fall 2017 interview with agents.

Steele, who was hired by Clinton's campaign law firm to compile anti-Trump dossiers attempting to link Trump to Russian influence, told agents he had two clients at the time — Clinton and the FBI — and chose the interests of the Democratic candidate over the bureau in leaking.

Steele told the bureau that then-FBI Director James Comey's decision to reopen the Clinton email probe in fall 2016 triggered him to leak his dossier details in what he described as a taking-the-gloves-off moment.

The FBI interview summary makes clear that Steele, a British citizen, was allegiant to Clinton, did not like Trump and believed a Trump presidency would be negative for his homeland and thus made a decision to meddle in the U.S. election by leaking information to the news media.

The leaks, which led to Steele's termination as an FBI informant, have been known for more than a year, but his motivation for leaking was hidden in the classified documents.

His admission that the Russia collusion narrative, later debunked by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, was injected into the public as a means of counteracting Clinton's email scandal corroborates other information obtained by the CIA.

Late last year, the Trump administration declassified evidence showing the CIA warned President Obama and the FBI that it had intercepted intelligence indicating Hillary Clinton had personally ordered up an operation to "vilify" Trump with a false story of collusion as a m

eans of distracting from the negative publicity of her email scandal.

Multiple investigations have concluded that much of Steele's dossier was debunked or never corroborated by the FBI and likely contained Russian disinformation planted with his sources.

The probes found the FBI wrongly continued to rely on the allegations of Russia collusion to target Trump campaign figures for investigation and failed to disclose major flaws in their investigations to the courts that had authorized surveillance warrants.

The investigation also found that Steele's primary source of Russian intel later disowned or distanced himself from the claims attributed to him in the Steele dossier and that U.S. intelligence had concerns the source was tied to Russian intelligence.

The soon-to-be-released records also expose a tantalizing connection between Steele, his primary source and one of the Democrats' key impeachment witnesses in the Ukraine scandal, former Trump National Security Council Russia expert Fiona Hill.

Steele divulged to the FBI that he was introduced by Hill to his primary sub-source of information for his anti-Trump dossier and that he later told Hill that the source had provided information for his now infamous memos.

The documents also will settle a long-debated question in Washington about whether the FBI's tactics amounted to spying on the Trump campaign.

Tasking instructions the FBI gave to Halper, an academic who long worked as an FBI informant, make clear he was instructed to infiltrate the Trump campaign by posing as someone who wanted to work for the GOP nominee and then targeting campaign advisers to find out what they knew about Trump or his campaign's ties to Russia.

Halper was specifically instructed by the FBI to focus on campaign advisers Sam Clovis, George Papadopoulos and Carter Page, in some cases recording some of their conversations, the records are expected to show.

In her impeachment testimony in 2019, Hill acknowledged she knew Steele since 2006 when he worked for MI6 and she worked for the Bush administration.

She, however, did not make any mention of introducing Steele’s primary subsource and in fact expressed her own doubts about the Steele dossier, suggesting it could very well have been Russian disinformation. 

She said she held “misgivings and concern that he could have been played” by the Russians because they “would have an ax to grind against him given the job that he had previously.”

“I don’t believe it’s appropriate for him to have been hired to do this,” she testified about Steele. “I almost fell over when I discovered that he was doing this report.”

De Obama administratie speelde een vuile rol in 'Russiagate': de reguliere (massa-) media zijn niet geïnteresseerd

Op het vrijgeven van eerder geheime documenten blijkt dat de Obama administratie samen met de FBI een wel heel smerige rol hebben gespeeld in Russiagate, echter de belangstelling daarvoor van de reguliere (massa-) media is nul komma nada......

Dezelfde media die nog steeds volhouden dat Rusland de verkiezingen in de VS heeft gemanipuleerd ten gunste van Trump, zonder dat daar enig bewijs voor kan worden geleverd en het al lang duidelijk is dat er geen sprake was van ' Russiagate.....' Dit geldt overigens voor alle reguliere westerse media, zoals die in ons land, hoe bestaat het dat deze media, met de vuilbek vol van 'fake news' (nepnieuws), ondanks alle bewijs van het tegendeel, vol blijven houden dat er wel degelijk sprake is van een Russische manipulatie van de verkiezingen in de VS......  Dit aangevuld met dezelfde ongefundeerde beschuldigingen t.a.v. het Brexit referendum, het Catalaanse onafhankelijkheidsreferendum en ga nog maar even door, D66 mafketel en godbetert minister Ollongren beweert zelfs dat de Russen hier zo ongeveer allles manipuleren..... ha! ha! ha! ha! Ik heb op deze plak al veel geschreven over de valse beschuldigingen aan het adres van Rusland en in feite Trump (hoewel ik de pest heb aan de psychopathische fascist), je zou denken dat je alles wel gehad hebt, echter de desinteresse van de reguliere media, laat me weer verbijsterd achter.... Ach het zoveelste bewijs dat de media in handen zijn van plutocraten die de huidige status quo beschermen, een status quo waarin men Rusland en China als vijanden ziet, immers dat is goed voor het militair-industrieel complex, waar de eigenaren van die media grootaandeelhouders zijn van de wapenindustrie en ja die industrie heeft continu een vijand nodig om de winsten te blijven opvoeren.......

De VS is de grootste terreurentiteit op onze kleine planeet en heeft sinds het eind van WOII al meer dan 22,5 miljoen mensen vermoord in illegale oorlogen, het organiseren van staatsgrepen en middels het vermoorden van verdachten middels drones, waarbij meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers niet eens werd verdacht.......Alleen deze eeuw is de VS al 4 illegale oorlogen begonnen en heeft het illegale oorlogen elders militair gesteund en geregisseerd, daarbij zijn meer dan 2,5 miljoen mensen vermoord en dat is een cijfer van een paar jaar geleden.....

Het voorgaande werd verricht met de regelmatige hulp van andere NAVO-lidstaten, hielenlikkers van de VS zoals Nederland, mede verantwoordelijk voor de enorme massamoorden die uit naam van 'de vrijheid en het brengen van democratie' worden begaan en dat veelal juist tegen democratisch gekozen regeringen...... De VS en haar hielenlikkers beweren democratie en stabiliteit te brengen, echter met de westerse terreur worden er bloedige dictators geparachuteerd die schijt hebben aan democratie, vrijheid van meningsuiting en alle andere zogenaamd in het westen gekoesterde burgerrechten, waarvoor niet alleen enorme slachtingen worden aangericht, maar waar de overlevenden ook nog eens in diepe ellende en chaos worden gestort........ Stabiliteit door grootschalige VS terreur? ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Terug naar Obama, de Nobelprijs voor de Vrede winnaar, die niet alleen illegale oorlogen begon, maar ook heeft meegholpen aan de Russiagate leugen. More willful blindness by the media on spying by Obama administration

July 27, 2020 "Information Clearing House" (ICH) -The Washington press corps seems engaged in a collective demonstration of the legal concept of willful blindness, or deliberately ignoring the facts, following the release of yet another declassified document which directly refutes prior statements about the investigation into Russia collusion. The document shows that FBI officials used a national security briefing of then candidate Donald Trump and his top aides to gather possible evidence for Crossfire Hurricane, its code name for the Russia investigation.

It is astonishing that the media refuses to see what is one of the biggest stories in decades. 

The Obama administration targeted the campaign of the opposing party based on false evidence. The media covered Obama administration officials ridiculing the suggestions of spying on the Trump campaign and of improper conduct with the Russia investigation. When Attorney General William Barr told the Senate last year that he believed spying did occur, he was lambasted in the media, including by James Comey and others involved in that investigation. The mocking “wow” response of the fired FBI director received extensive coverage.

The new document shows that, in summer 2016, FBI agent Joe Pientka briefed Trump campaign advisers Michael Flynn and Chris Christie over national security issues, standard practice ahead of the election. It had a discussion of Russian interference. But this was different. The document detailing the questions asked by Trump and his aides and their reactions was filed several days after that meeting under Crossfire Hurricane and Crossfire Razor, the FBI investigation of Flynn. The two FBI officials listed who approved the report are Kevin Clinesmith and Peter Strzok.

Clinesmith is the former FBI lawyer responsible for the FISA surveillance conducted on members of the Trump campaign. He opposed Trump and sent an email after the election declaring “viva the resistance.” He is now under review for possible criminal charges for altering a FISA court filing. The FBI used Trump adviser Carter Page as the basis for the original FISA application, due to his contacts with Russians. After that surveillance was approved, however, federal officials discredited the collusion allegations and noted that Page was a CIA asset. Clinesmith had allegedly changed the information to state that Page was not working for the CIA.

Strzok is the FBI agent whose violation of FBI rules led Justice Department officials to refer him for possible criminal charges. Strzok did not hide his intense loathing of Trump and famously referenced an “insurance policy” if Trump were to win the election. After FBI officials concluded there was no evidence of any crime by Flynn at the end of 2016, Strzok prevented the closing of the investigation as FBI officials searched for any crime that might be used to charge the incoming national security adviser.

Documents show Comey briefed President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden on the investigation shortly before the inauguration of Trump. When Comey admitted the communications between Flynn and Russian officials appeared legitimate, Biden reportedly suggested using the Logan Act, a law widely seen as unconstitutional and never been used to successfully convict a single person, as an alternative charge against Flynn. The memo contradicts eventual claims by Biden that he did not know about the Flynn investigation. Let us detail some proven but mostly unseen facts.

First, the Russia collusion allegations were based in large part on the dossier funded by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC). The Clinton campaign repeatedly denied paying for the dossier until after the election, when it was confronted with irrefutable evidence that the money had been buried among legal expenditures. As New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman wrote, “Folks involved in funding this lied about it and with sanctimony for a year.”

Second, FBI agents had warned that dossier author Christopher Steele may have been used by Russian intelligence to plant false information to disrupt the election. His source for the most serious allegations claims that Steele misrepresented what he had said and that it was little more than rumors that were recast by Steele as reliable intelligence.

Third, the Obama administration had been told that the basis for the FISA application was dubious and likely false. Yet it continued the investigation, and then someone leaked its existence to the media. Another declassified document shows that, after the New York Times ran a leaked story on the investigation, even Strzok had balked at the account as misleading and inaccurate. His early 2017 memo affirmed that there was no evidence of any individuals in contact with Russians. This information came as the collusion stories were turning into a frenzy that would last years.

Fourth, the investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller and inspectors general found no evidence of collusion or knowing contact between the Trump campaign and Russian officials. What inspectors general did find were false statements or possible criminal conduct by Comey and others. While unable to say it was the reason for their decisions, they also found statements of animus against Trump and his campaign by the FBI officials who were leading the investigation. Former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein testified he never would have approved renewal of the FISA surveillance and encouraged further investigation into such bias.

Finally, Obama and Biden were aware of the investigation, as were the administration officials who publicly ridiculed Trump when he said there was spying on his campaign. Others, like House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, declared they had evidence of collusion but never produced it. Countless reporters, columnists, and analysts still continue to deride, as writer Max Boot said it, the spinning of “absurd conspiracy theories” about how the FBI “supposedly spied on the Trump campaign.”

Willful blindness has its advantages. The media covered the original leak and the collusion narrative, despite mounting evidence that it was false. They filled hours of cable news shows and pages of print with a collusion story discredited by the FBI. Virtually none of these journalists or experts have acknowledged that the collusion leaks were proven false, let alone pursue the troubling implications of national security powers being used to target the political opponents of an administration. But in Washington, success often depends not on what you see but what you can unsee.

Naar aanleding van de gruwelijke moord op George Floyd en onnoemelijk veel andere gekleurde VS burgers in het (ook recente) verleden: politie VS schiet, vermoordt en zet meer mensen gevangen dan andere ontwikkelde landen aldus CNN dat met 'de cijfers' komt. Cijfers die belachelijk genoeg niet zijn gebaseerd op gegevens van de politie in de VS, daar die niet bijhoudt hoeveel burgers er worden vermoord door haar personeel....... (wel houdt de poltie bij hoeveel mensen er volgens de politie terecht werden vermoord door agenten; moet je nagaan......)

In het hieronder opgenomen artikel, zoals je hiervoor kon lezen, ook aandacht voor de 2,2 miljoen gevangenen die de VS 'rijk is', in verhouding worden daar veel meer gekleurde mensen gevangen gezet dan die van de witte meerderheid.... (en dit nog buiten de door ICE gavengen gezette vluchtelingen en kinderen van vluchtelingen, die nog steeds apart gevangen worden gezet....) Het gevangenissysteem in de VS wordt vooral bestuurt door een beursgenoteerd bedrijf dat belang heeft bij zoveel mogelijk gevangenen en lullig genoeg heeft dit bedrijf een machtige lobby in Washington......

June 09, 2020 "Information Clearing House" - Enough.

That's the message from many of the protesters who have filled American cities for nearly two weeks, demanding justice for the death of George Floyd and seeking to end a litany of police killings of black Americans.

The protests have rippled across the United States and throughout the world, with activists streaming through the streets of many capital cities in solidarity with the movement.

Floyd was just one of the many Americans killed by police officers each year. But in other developed countries, such incidents are rare.

Statistical comparisons show that police in the US typically shoot, arrest and imprison more people than similarly developed nations.

Each nation listed below either accompanies the US in the G7 group of the world's most advanced economies, or is ranked similarly on global wealth, freedom and democracy indexes. But when it comes to policing and criminal justice, the US is a noticeable outlier, and black Americans are disproportionately affected.

Data on arrests, deaths and prison populations do not exist uniformly across developed countries, so it can be difficult to pinpoint exactly how the US fares in comparison to every nation. For instance, it is impossible to know exactly how many people die at the hands of police officers in the US each year: no single, nationwide database that contains such information exists.

"We can't have an informed discussion, because we don't have data," former FBI Director James Comey told the House Judiciary Committee in 2015. "People have data about who went to a movie last weekend ... and I cannot tell you how many people were shot by police in the United States last month, last year, or anything about the demographics. And that's a very bad place to be."

We are therefore forced to rely on estimates -- but even they paint a stark picture.
A media review by the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) found a total of 1,348 potential arrest-related deaths in the ten months from June 2015 through March 2016 -- an average of 135 deaths per month, or just over 4 per day. (The review excludes deaths under the jurisdiction of federal and tribal law enforcement, and the BJS acknowledged it does not provide a complete picture.)

By comparison, only 13 people in the UK died in or following police custody in the closest time period, according to the country's police watchdog. In Australia, 21 deaths occurred in police custody or custody-related operations in 2015/16. Those measures are the most accurate comparison to the US's figure of arrest-related deaths, according to the UK Home Office. The UK's figure does not include every death that occurred following police contact.

American police also shoot more people than forces in similarly developed countries.

The FBI recorded that 407 people were shot in an act of "justifiable homicide" by a police officer in 2018, a decline on previous years. But homicides ruled justifiable do not capture every police killing, and the FBI's numbers are derided by many human rights groups and news organizations which have collected far higher figures. The Washington Post counted 1,004 people fatally shot by police in 2019, for instance, while the group Mapping Police Violence tallied 1,099.

Comey's comments to the House Judiciary Committee illustrate the FBI's own acceptance that their number does not tell the full story. Nonetheless, even the FBI's figure dramatically dwarfs that of many other countries, where police shootings are highly isolated incidents. 
And police in New Zealand and the UK (except Northern Ireland) do not routinely carry firearms.

Canada may most closely follow the US among G7 countries. Official data is only collected when an officer is charged, but an analysis by CNN affiliate CBC found 461 fatal police encounters between 2000 and 2017.

Americans are also more likely to be arrested or jailed than their peers worldwide.

A total of 10,310,960 arrests were made in the US in 2018 -- that's one arrest made per every 32 American citizens. Those figures give the US a far higher arrest rate than the UK or Australia, among others. Of those confronted or arrested by police, black Americans are more likely to be subjected to force -- a key complaint of the protesters marching across the US.

Police officers are more likely to use force on black Americans -- and, according to a 2016 study published in the American Journal of Health, black men are nearly three times more likely than white men to be killed by police intervention. Comparable figures for other countries are not readily available.

In general, more Americans are subjected to the cogs of the criminal justice system than in many other countries; and more end up in prison, too.

The US has the largest prison population in the world, as well as the largest incarceration rate per capita, according to World Prison Brief -- a London-based initiative that counts inmate populations around the world annually.

Only four US cities have more inhabitants than the country's prisons -- and America's prison population of 2.2 million is higher than the combined populations of Washington, DC, Boston and Miami.

Rates are high across the country. If every US state were counted as a country, the 31 countries with the highest incarceration rates in the world would all be US states, according to the Prison Policy Initiative (PPI). Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi all have incarceration rates of over 1,000, meaning more than one in a hundred people in those states were prisoners in 2018. By comparison, the highest incarceration rate outside the US is in El Salvador, where 614 people per 100,000 are prisoners, according to the Prison Policy Initiative.

Black Americans make up a third of the US prison population, despite only making up around an eighth of the country's total population.

The UK and Canada suffer similar issues, but not on the scale that the United States does.
The available data paints a clear and concerning picture -- and explains why policing and justice reform have been rallying cries of protesters for so long.
