Na
de grote verkiezingsoverwinning van MAS, de partij van de afgezette
president Morales*, is het de hoogste tijd om de coupplegers en de
top van de handelsorganisatie OAS strafrechtelijk te vervolgen voor
de door hen met hulp van de CIA gepleegde coup.... (OAS: Organisatie va Amerikaanse Staten)
Morales die terugkeerde uit ballingschap in Argentinië, heeft dan ook gesteld dat Luis Almagro, de secretaris-generaal van de OAS moet aftreden, ofwel moet worden afgezet, daar deze schoft de coup in Bolivia van meet af aan heeft gesteund met leugens!! Uiteraard steunt Luis Arce, de nieuwe president van Bolivia, een partijlid van Morales, deze oproep.
Door
het schreeuwen van leugens door Almagro dat de verkiezingen vorig
jaar oktober frauduleus waren gewonnen, kwam de bal aan het rollen en
werd Morales uiteindelijk afgezet..... Resultaat een groot aantal
demonstranten, die tegen de coup waren, werden in de steden Senkata en
Sacaba vermoord door politie en leger en begon de terreur tegen de
oorspronkelijke bewoners van Bolivia..... Vandaar ook dat CODEPINK
stelt dat Almagro bloed aan zijn handen heeft en moet terugtreden,
daarvoor heeft deze mensenrechtenorganisatie een petitie opgesteld.

Latijns-Amerika weten dat ze niet langer ongestraft een democratisch
gekozen regering aan de kant kunnen zetten!! Jammer dat CODEPINK niet aandringt op de berechting van Almagro en de fascistische juntaleider Áñez.......

Have you seen the images from Bolivia? People were dancing in the streets as President Luis Arce was inaugurated Sunday, then thousands came out to greet former President Evo Morales as he returned from exile. Bolivia is closing an ugly chapter in its history - 11 months of a coup regime that murdered protesters and systematically violated human rights. Bolivians will make the coup regime accountable for its crimes, but it will take the entire hemisphere to pressure OAS Secretary-General Luis Almagro into admitting his role in the coup and resigning.
The OAS (Organization of American States) played a pivotal role in the coup last year. Under the direction of Almagro, they falsely claimed there was fraud in the October 2019 elections. Their “proof” was immediately debunked, but the damage was done and the coup was set in motion. Days after the November 10 coup, the new regime massacred protesters in the towns of Senkata and Sacaba and began a reign of terror.
Luis Almagro has blood on his hands. Join us in demanding his resignation!
Here’s how the OAS discredited Bolivia’s elections: as results were coming in the night of the elections, Evo Morales was up by just over 7 points (he needed to win by 10 to avoid a runoff). The count then stopped for the night (with roughly 80% of the results in) and when it resumed, Morales’ lead grew to about 11 points, giving him a victory without the need for a runoff. The OAS said this change in the trend was “inexplicable.” Statisticians from the Center for Economics and Policy Research (CEPR) and other think tanks explained it fairly easily: the remaining votes came from rural areas, which typically take longer to report their results and which overwhelmingly backed Morales and the MAS party.
Almagro and the OAS knew this about the count and about rural areas, but they issued a report claiming fraud anyway and even silenced OAS monitors who dissented with their conclusions. CEPR later realized that the OAS report used timestamps that were sorted alphabetically rather than chronologically. A coding error led to chaos and two massacres in Bolivia!
Almagro was among the first to recognize the illegal coup regime and he was basically silent on the human rights abuses. In fact, after an OAS agency dared to document these violations, Almagro failed to renew the contract of the agency head and faced global criticism for doing so. Tell Almagro that he’s got to go!
We’re not alone in calling on Almagro to resign. Bolivian President Luis Arce, former President Evo Morales, the Bolivian Federation of Campesina Women of El Trópico, ALBA Movimientos (an alliance of social movements throughout the hemisphere), the Puebla Group (a union of former, prestigious politicians, including four presidents) and even the Mexican government have joined the call.
